Eric (aka DJ Woody) was the best DJ. He is so nice and is just super professional and on top of things. Our ceremony music was perfect and he was an excellent emcee that kept things organized during our reception. We gave him basically the vaguest idea of the "vibe" that we wanted for our music and he NAILED IT and played music that was exactly what we were envisioning.

Steven from Entertainment Essentials was the one and only DJ recommendation that I received from my photographer (who has seen a lot of DJs) and I'm so glad we found him. From the beginning, Steven was always easy to communicate with and very personable. He puts 100% into planning your event because he really wants to make sure it's what you want. I had a terrible DJ experience in the past, so it was a huge relief to have a DJ who I could trust for my wedding. Steven is extremely professional, skilled, upbeat and thorough. We used Steven's services for both our ceremony and our reception and with our multi-room, indoor/outdoor setup, Steven put a lot of effort into making sure the sound would be perfect everywhere. I was a little hesitant to use a DJ for ceremony music and microphones because it seems like there's always a glitch at every wedding I go to, but thanks to Steven & EE's good equipment, I'm happy to report that there were no technical difficulties at my wedding!

Entertainment Essentials did such a wonderful job at our wedding. I can't thank Eric and his team enough. Everyone was fun and friendly and on top of things. I am a picky person, but Eric was on top of every one of my requests. The evening and night went off without a hitch -- well, except ours, of course! When it ended at 10 p.m., my friends wanted to keep on dancing!

Eric was our DJ and we absolutely loved him! He keeps in contact all throughout the planning process and makes you very comfortable in knowing that you'll get what you want! We enjoyed him so much that while riding in the car I found myself thinking, "I wish Eric could follow me around and DJ my life". Not even joking! He did an amazing job and you won't want to stop dancing all night!

Best DJ ever! I had Eric for the DJ at our wedding! He played the perfect music and everything we asked for! We like fun, techno, dance music and he fulfilled this request! Our quest were dancing the night away and we enjoyed our night because everyone was having fun! We had multiple guests tell us after our wedding that we had the most fun wedding and that our DJ was the best! We could not asked for anything better! We loved Entertainment Essentials!

Michael was our talent for our wedding and he was AMAZING! Music was very important to me and I wanted to make sure that the person running the show knew that. I met with him a couple of weeks before the wedding and he was very nice and completely understanding of the type of atmosphere I wanted. He more than delivered what I asked and I cannot be more pleased! He was very entertaining, but definitely not to the point where is was annoying. He made the show all about us! He balanced it out very well and had the whole room laughing several times throughout the night. Thank you EE for providing such a fun talent for my wedding.

Eric and his crew did an amazing job! We hired them for DJ services as well as ceremony sound setup and some extra lighting. Their service was so personalized, it was amazing to find someone to cater to our very unique musical tastes. The ability to use wireless setups and custom lighting really sets them apart. They provide meetings and planning tools to help along the way, which were amazing. If you are looking for a DJ that caters to YOU instead of just pulling out a "wedding playlist", Entertainment Essentials is perfect!

Eric and his team were great to work with for our wedding. They provided music and DJ services for both the ceremony and the reception. They were very professional and extremely accommodating, even dealing with a last minute song change with no problems. Most importantly, everyone loved the music and the dance floor was full all night long.

We planned our wedding from a distance, which made picking vendors hard. Eric and team was awesome every step of the way. We appreciated his professionalism with song request tools, event planning portal and overall execution of the event. We would highly recommend!

They played every song we requested and even downloaded a song that they didn't have on their playlist so we could have it played! They did an awesome job responding to me quickly via email whenever I had questions- everything was great!

Eric Woodland and the Entertainment Essentials team went above and beyond to accommodate our needs/ wants for our prom. From great music tailored to our students' requests to the Superbooth, the EE crew was fabulous. Also, the LED Color Wash lighting was spectacular and the icing on the cake. The students are still talking about what an awesome night it was.

Eric and his team at Entertainment Essentials were amazing! They are very professional, thorough and detail oriented! We met with Eric twice before the wedding and filled out some information online and then got a very detailed timeline of our event before the wedding to review and edit as necessary. From the minute dancing started until the very last song, the dance floor was packed and everyone had a wonderful time. The photobooth was a favorite of the night and it was well run and so much fun! We cannot say enough about how wonderful Entertainment Essentials was for our event!

We used entertainment essentials as our dj and rented a photobooth. Eric did such a great job, he was pretty much who ran the show the whole evening. He made everything run smoothly and without a hitch. The photobooth was the life of the wedding. Everyone loved going in there with family and friends. It helped to lighten everyone up. If I ever need any other of their services I will definitely use them.

The planning process was very professional, effective and efficient! From beginning to end they made the experience simple and convenient. All questions were thoroughly addressed and all communication was extremely prompt. Their professional use of technology in the planning process gave me nothing but the utmost confidence in them. We were planning this wedding in Paoli, IN from Dayton, OH which created some challenges. Those challenges were easily met by Eric and his crew. Our meetings were done remotely via their online conferencing service which made things much easier. Once we were at the event things were flawless! They were great at reading the crowd and keeping people on the dance floor! I couldn't be more pleased.

Entertainment Essentials was AMAZING! Eric had everything perfectly planned out and I was never worried about anything as far as music and sound was concerned. Our ceremony music was perfect and it all went flawlessly. Our reception was so much fun and they kept everyone dancing and having a good time. We really appreciated all the meetings we were able to have with Eric and felt like he was incredibly professional about the whole thing. The people I worked with at Entertainment Essentials for my wedding worked with a quality I honestly was not expecting. There were several occasions where they would need to speak with me during the reception when I was talking to other people. Rather thn interrupt my conversations, they patiently waited until we were finished to speak with me. This spoke volumes to me because it told me they were here for us rather thn us being there for them. Their website and planning documents really helped us to focus what we wanted our reception to look like as well as how it would flow. They had several good ideas and suggestions that we utilized. They work with the highest forms of professionalism and commitment, meeting all of our expectations and fulfilling all of our requests without question.

They truly made our wedding day feel that much better because they knew what they were doing and never made us feel like we were making them wait.

I highly recommend Entertainment Essentials for any event where you may require their services.

Eric made planning the reception seem so easy and they did a great job! They did a great job with the music and keeping people entertained! The photo-booth was a big hit and everyone had a ton of fun with it! I loved how the guests got to put their pictures in a photo book and write notes to us. The up-lighting looked great at our venue and we loved how they could do multiple colors and even change the colors throughout the night from where they were set up. I would definitely recommend them!

I highly recommend Eric Woodland and his team at Entertainment Essentials. They went above and beyond our expectations starting from the first time we spoke (great responsiveness and highly professional business procedures) to the week of planning. He had so many wonderful suggestions for genres and songs at different points in the evening and an awesome online song request platform where guests can log-in and make song requests prior to the event. On the wedding day, our outdoor wedding was comprised due to record rainfall, and he pulled together a ceremony under the reception tent that was everything we could have hoped for - he organized this sudden change completely last minute and with minimal guidance from the groom and I who were tied up. We were all blown away with how helpful and wonderful this team is. Do not look any further, you will not be disappointed with this vendor.

Entertainment Essentials guided us from start to finish with our kids wedding reception entertainment. They were friendly, organized, professional and truly gave us all a sense that they cared about insuring that our kids wedding was flawless. Eric and his team do more then just play music! They kept us on schedule and helped insure that the Bride, Groom, the wedding party and all of our guests were entertained and organized. We couldn’t have asked for a better partner to work with. The music was great. Eric took plenty of time to make sure that we all had input on the music for the evening. Eric made sure everything flowed smoothly throughout the evening. Eric also made sure he was in touch with the staff at the Olmsted so they all could work as one highly organized team. We couldn’t have asked for a better evening! Entertainment Essentials was definitely our favorite vendor to work with for our August 2013 wedding! Eric really put in the time and preparation and not a thing went wrong on the wedding day. The venue was already very beautiful, but when I got to the reception hall and saw all the lights and set-up from the Dj stand, it took my breathe away! All the flowers and table decor I spent so much time on didn't hold a candle to the awesome ambience on the dance floor. All of that is credited to EE! Also, Eric is great at working with his clients. He and my groom collaborated on an epic surprise for me at the reception. He took my groom's ideas and gave them life. We are so grateful and would recommend this company to anyone and everyone!

DJ's were wonderful. Set the tone for the wedding from the very beginning. Helped with entire event and worked very well with other vendors to ensure that all went very smoothly. Photo booth was constantly being used and there was always someone on the dance floor.

Meeting them face to face at the venue and going over all the details weeks in advance showed high professionalism and took quite a bit of anxiety away. Once the reception started they kept all on track and we didn't have to worry about a thing. Highly recommend using Entertainment Essentials.

I have nothing but Great things to say about Entertainment Essentials! From the very beginning Eric and Justin made me and and my husband feel very involved, and provided us with the very best service. I normaly do not write reveiws but i thought this was a must! I had to get the word out there that i was very pleased to work with such a great DJ. Even from the last few hours before the wedding Eric and Justin changed alot in order for me and my bridesmaids to have a suprise dance, and it was sucessful! After the wedding I had a number of people tell me that they realy enjoyed the DJ and Had such a great time!

Entertainment Essentials provided everything that we expected from a deejay service and more! Eric was exceptional to work with over the past year, from answering our questions at all hours of the day (literally), to providing wonderful suggestions that added special details to our event (holding the first dance immediately after intros, suggesting a better cake cutting song, etc.), and even remaining flexible with last minute changes. We had fun with eight different introductions that highlighted our wedding party's personalities. Eric and Justin kept the guests entertained all evening with music and trivia, and took all of the worry out of our hands. We didn't even ask them to take photos but it was an added bonus when they did! They accepted guest song requests and kept the dance floor busy. I can't say enough great things about working with this company. I guess the best compliment I can give is that several friends and family members raved to me specifically about the music/deejay and one friend even said that they wished they could hire them to emcee their fantasy football draft :). We will be highly recommending this vendor to any friends/family who will need wedding deejay services in the future.

We worked with Eric for our wedding with just a week's notice to get everything prepared. Eric was always professional and responded very quickly to any email, text or call. I have nothing but good things to say about Entertainment Essentials. The wedding went off without a hitch and all of my guests said great things about the way the wedding reception took off. We were planning our son's 8th birthday party and found Entertainment Essentials through a Google search. From start to finish, the service was excellent. First, when I started to explain the type of entertainment that I was looking for, basically someone to play music for the kids and lead them in games and dances, Eric knew exactly what I was talking about and scheduled Ryan (DJ) and Vicky and Amanda (Motivators) for the party. Leading up to the party, Eric was always available for questions by phone or email. On the day of the party, everything went so smoothly. Everyone from Entertainment Essentials was on time and prepared when our first guests arrived. Ryan, Vicky and Amanda were amazing with the kids. The kids had so much fun and the parents got to relax and enjoy the party as well. The people from Entertainment Essentials were also very professional. They did not advertise or hand out business cards during the party even though our guests wanted to know who they were. I would absolutely recommend Entertainment Essentials and I would use their services again in the future.

Eric was WONDERFUL!! He kept everything on the big day stress-free and smooth. Guests have been commenting about how wonderful our DJ was! Before the wedding, Eric was very helpful and made great suggestions that would work with our particular crowd and venue. During the reception, he would walk around and engage our guests personally. Eric was wonderful. My fiancee and I met with him multiple times throughout the wedding planning process. He was always extremely professional and gave us helpful tips for making our day perfect. I am a "worrywart" by nature, but Eric was so meticulous with the planning that I wasn't worried a bit about the job he would do.

For any bride and groom that even has a question as to what DJ to use for their reception DeeJay Woody and his team are the best! It is said that the "DJ makes the wedding," and that is completely true! Our reception was a blast! We don't listen to the most mainstream music and they were able to customize for us. I'd get married all over to have them DJ for us again!!

WOW!!! What a fun time we had! It was very important that our guests who traveled from across the country have a great time at our wedding. Highly recommened as he was probably the best person to work with out of all the people who we worked with in our wedding! DJ Woody is not what you'd expect from someone going by DJ Woody. He is incredibly professional, organized, and bends over backwords to make your wedding experience easy and exactly what you want! In the chaos that led up to our wedding and even on the big day itself, DJ Woody kept everything on track and made sure everything went smoothly. And I haven't even mentioned that he did a great job keeping everyone on the dance floor and making sure everyone had a good time. I can't recommend DJ Woody enough.

From the first meeting with Eric I knew we had chosen the right DJ and it only got better from there! Eric was on time for all of our meetings and was never in a rush to leave. He listened to our questions and concerns and always gave us amazing advice with the utmost professionalism. His data base of music was huge but if there was a song we wanted that wasn't on there, he got it! He even helped us customize our ceremony music! He returned all our phone calls in a very timely manor and was very easy to get a hold of. The day of our wedding I couldn't ask for anything better! Eric kept the crowd going the whole time and kept the flow of the wedding on track. I can't say enough positive things about our experience with Dee Jay Woody Entertainment and I would with out a doubt recommend him to any bride and groom to be!

I would highly recommend Eric to anyone who asked for wedding advice concerning a DJ! He is very prompt in responding to emails, is willing to go beyond the call of duty to assist in the decision making process, and is always available. At my reception he was involved, professional, and enthusiastic. Several guests commented on how great he was, and my husband was very satisfied at how Eric was able to get guests up on the dance floor at our afternoon wedding. I have not a single complaint about the services I was provided with!

I have worked with Eric as a DJ in lots of settings and knew that if I was going to have a reception DJ, it would be him, because I have always been super satisfied by the professionalism and skill of all his DJs. Eric did a wonderful job at our wedding. They provided all the songs we asked for and more! They even purchased CD's that we liked that weren't on they're selection list! They were liked so much that my husbands brother switched to them a month before their wedding! WOuld highly recommend them for any event including weddings!

All we can say is WOW! Completely Satisfied. We met a couple times before the event to go over plans, event times and to sort out all of the fine details. The staff was very open to ideas from us, but also gave their honest ideas and gave options with their experience as to how certian things would work out. That was just the start! The way the set up looked was great. They used lighting in the background to better set the mood of the event. The music selection was out of this world. We of course had the usual wedding reception songs but also included some songs we had not been familure with from the very up to date music selection. The DJ and MC preformed well for our guest and kept the evening going till the very last second of the event. The Reception went well and had no complaints. I would refer DeeJayWoody Events and Entertainment to any of my family or friends that are planning an event!

Eric Woodland was extremely professional and knowledgeable. He was familiar with the venue and, therefore, was able to offer suggestions and give direction. If we had it to do over again, the only thing we would change was how soon we enlisted his help. Our advice is once you reserve the venue, call Eric before you do anything else and rely on his expertise. He should be involved from the very beginning. You will save money If you use Eric because you will not need a wedding planner.

Fabulous DJ service! From our initial meeting with Eric and Michael to the last song of our receptions, Entertainment Essentials was a delight to work with. They provided music for both our off-site outdoor ceremony and indoor reception. I was a little nervous about how that would work, but it was seamless. Slick looking setup. Eric helped save us 2 weeks before from what would have otherwise been a DJ castrastrophe with the DJ we had booked. Read the reviews people! It sure saved us!

Eric was responsive, professional and friendly. Eager to help and offer his knowledge and advice. We knew he was the right guy! Because of the short time frame, he had a colleage at our wedding who we met with and felt very comfortable with. He arrived on time and everything went as planned. We were a bit disappointed that some of our "must plays" didn't get played until after 11:30 pm when most of the guests had gone and there were a few times we felt the music got a bit too slow but for the most part people were happy with the music selections, they were happy with the variety of old and new!

We would definitely book again and recommend to anyone looking for a DJ! Thanks again for all your help :)
