    Would Highly Suggest

    I would highly suggest this team for any wedding. They were very responsive, always less than 24hrs. They were super flexible as I had gotten to my hair and make up selection so late, they managed to work me and two others in. Greer and Heidi were wonderful. My Hair was AMAZING. Make up usually makes my face itchy; theirs did not. And my daughters are still talking about their hair and make up. I have no professional pictures back yet, but I will include the few we have from friends.

    Fantastic Hair and Makeup

    I absolutely loved the hair and makeup that Stephanie and Heidi did for our wedding! Stephanie created the hair-do that I had in mind, and it looked perfect and felt great the entire day and evening. She also did exactly what I wanted with my makeup, and she was careful to use makeup that I wasn't allergic to. Stephanie and Heidi did a lovely job with my mother's and five bridesmaids' hair and makeup too. They all looked beautiful. Stephanie and Heidi worked incredibly hard, and they were accommodating and flexible with our schedule; they also created a nice environment in which we could hang out while people were getting ready. Finally, I really appreciated how responsive Stephanie was to my messages; it was easy to work with her.

    Professional, communicative, accommodating, delightful.

    Stephanie, Heidi, and Greer were a fantastic team that came out to Mountain Run Winery to pamper the bridal party on my wedding day. Communication with Stephanie leading up to the event was exceptional. She was in constant contact and developed a great timeline to get all 6 of us (hair and makeup) wedding ready. The team was very accommodating and willing to put up with silly banter of the bridal party. We had a great time! I felt absolutely beautiful, and I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding day! A million and one thank yous to Enlightened Styles for playing a huge part in making this happen!

    Fantastic Service!

    Wedding Date- 4/16/22- What a great team! From day 1 Enlightened Styles was super professional and very easy to get in contact with. It’s a one-stop shop- which is great for weddings!! Stephanie was my stylist. She took her role very seriously and I knew after our trial appointment that I was in the best place! The team worked hard to make me and my mother’s wedding hair and makeup perfect. My mom and I both wear our hair natural which was the only thing that made me nervous prior to the trial hair w Stephanie. I’ve got to say, her team did a better job styling my hair than any other hair dresser I have visited!!!! The makeup was flawless. I am just so happy that I found this salon. I live about an hour away and I am actually going to switch to this salon and make it my new home for regular hair maintenance. Brava team and thank you for making this experience so special!

    Beautiful and Professional

    I had a wonderful experience with Enlightened Styles! Stephanie and her team did an outstanding and timely job with myself, my 6 bridesmaids, and my mother. The trial was extremely helpful which she replicated perfectly on my wedding day. Would highly recommend!

    They made my wedding hair and makeup perfect, so flexible when the getting ready location changed a lot and were amazing with all the people I had getting ready!! Loved working with them!!!

    10/10 Experience

    Stephanie and her team did wedding hair & makeup for a group of 10 women, and everything was flawless. They were so easy to work with, did a fantastic job, timed the services perfectly, and my bridal makeup in particular lasted ALL day and night. I looked in the mirror before bed and it looked just as great as the minute Stephanie put it on. I would recommend her and her team to anyone - thank you for doing such a lovely job!!

    Wonderful Bridal Experience!

    I LOVED my experience at Enlightened Styles for my bridal hair and makeup! I started out with a small party and it was easy to add or change services that I needed. Throughout the entire process, Stephanie was not only extremely responsive, but also very accommodating, and happy to make sure I had everything to make my day perfect. The trial went great, and on the big day, we had a blast getting ready together. We all loved the hair and makeup - my day couldn't have gone better, and it definitely helped that I wasn't stressed about these things. I highly recommend Enlightened Styles for any bridal hair or makeup services!

    Beautiful and easy to work with

    Stephanie and her team were so easy to work with, responsive, thoughtful, and accommodating. They did hair and makeup for me (bride) and 3 bridesmaids and everyone was pleased with both the look and experience. Good value as well!

    Amazing Experience

    Stephanie and her team did an amazing job. Finding hair and makeup for the wedding was the most stressful for me as a bride. However, after finding Enlightened Styles on Wedding Wire, I knew this was it. Stephanie was very responsive and their Honeybook system makes payment and communication easy.

    My trial day was a very rainy day, but for the rest of the day my makeup and hair stayed in place, which was another relief. Stephanie even showed me how my hair piece and veil would complement the hairstyle. All their products are healthy for your hair and they make the makeup! The day of the wedding, Stephanie and one other assistant arrived right on time and even ended up finishing earlier than anticipated. They worked on myself, four bridesmaids, my mother and MIL.

    Everyone was very pleased with their end results, especially my mother. Both women were very nice and professional, also being flexible when the mimosas came. I'll definitely recommend them to friends. I'm also going to start using them as my regular hair salon.

    An Amazing Experience!

    I had the best experience using Enlightened Styles for my wedding. Stephanie was so sweet and made me look beautiful for the day. It was a hot and humid day and we got hit with a quick bout of rain after our ceremony but my makeup and hair held up! I used them for hair and makeup for myself, wedding party, and my mom and MIL.

    They are very responsive and their services and prices are straightforward and they were very helpful when I was deciding what services to book. I had a really great bridal trial with Stephanie and she made me look even more beautiful the day of.

    I was amazed how quickly they were able to do my wedding party. There were 10 of us with me and my Mom doing both hair and makeup and everyone else doing either hair or makeup. Four of my bridesmaids did updos and I've been in weddings where the time line got very delayed because of complicated hair and makeup. Not an issue with Enlightened Styles! Each updo was very intricate and they were all done quickly and beautifully and withstood the hot and humid day and night. One of my bridesmaids is getting married next month and she was taking pictures of everyone's hair to get inspiration for her own wedding. I'm sure she would hire Enlightened Styles if she was getting married in the area! The makeup they did was very natural and everyone looked like themselves, just at their most beautiful. This is not always a given when getting your makeup done. Everyone looked so beautiful and there was not one complaint (which is a true accomplishment with 10 women!)

    It's important to have good people around you the morning of your wedding and they definitely delivered! Could not recommend them more highly!

    Enlightened Styles was absolutely amazing! Stephanie did such an amazing job on both my hair and makeup for my wedding. She has such a sweet and calming presence, which is so helpful on the morning of! I did a trial with her about a month or two before where I brought some pictures of looks I liked. In just one attempt she got exactly what I was looking for! I also purchased a hair piece from the salon as well that was so beautiful. On the day of, Stephanie came with an assistant to help with all the bridesmaids hair and makeup as well. They all choose slightly different looks and all came out great!

    I loved Enlightened Styles they have the best people to work with. Stephanie and Vera did an amazing job at my wedding. With my bridesmaid and my mom and mother in law.     Stephanie and her colleagues were the perfect hair & makeup artists for myself and 12 bridesmaids!!! Stephanie is very detail-oriented, organized, and punctual -- which is such a "must" on wedding day. She worked patiently with me through thorough hair and makeup trials so that on the big day it was a breeze, and I looked (and felt) like a princess! Thank you Stephanie!

    Enlightened Styles was fantastic. During my trial, she was very responsive on what I wanted and changed something I was unsure about. She took lots of photos during the trial process to be able to repeat it. The day of the wedding, she came to our venue and did hair and make up on 7 bridesmaids, two moms, a flower girl and me in 5 hours!!! Everyone looked flawless and my hair and makeup stayed for the whole night!

    Seriously have never felt more beautiful in my life! Stephanie is an amazing artist and person and the perfect fit for our wedding day. She was professional, kind, and very talented.     I first met Stephanie at Enlightened Styles for a hair trial. I was amazed at how quickly she was able to do my hair and how she nailed the hairstyle I was looking for to a T. She then put my hair into a different style before I left so my then (fiance now husband) would not see it before the big day! On the wedding day 04.21.18 Stephanie and her assistant came to our venue to do the bridesmaids and my hair. They were quick and efficient and everyone was satisfied with their styles! My makeup artist raved about how well of a job Enlightened Styles did as well and asked for their contact information. She said it was the best hairstyles she has seen at a wedding! Would definitely recommend.

    Stephanie Young did my hair and makeup for my photo-shoot and for my wedding day, and the results were amazing! She is so talented, and she did exactly what I'd been hoping for! I showed her pictures of what styles and looks I'd been thinking of and she did a wonderful job picking out the style that looked the best on me. She even practiced the braid I wanted to have. She is so reliable and wonderful, I loved the results!

    Stephanie Young at Enlightened Styles did my hair for my wedding and I absolutely loved it. I chose a low up-do with lots of big in-place curls. I have very thick and long hair--a lot to manage! But she knew exactly how to work with it and put it up so that it never once threatened to come down or become loose. I didn't have to worry about my hair all day (and that's important on a wedding day) because she put it up so well. Another reason why my wedding-day hair was such a success was because she was very willing and happy to meet with me twice in the months leading up to the wedding to do trial runs for my hair-do so that come wedding day there were no hitches and everything went smoothly. I highly recommend Stephanie Young from Enlightened Styles as your wedding day hair stylist.

    Greer did an amazing job with my hair and makeup for my an engagement photos! She was able to give me a stunning but more natural look for makeup and did a beautiful on my hair! Would highly recommend!

    Jacquelyn was absolutely AMAZING! She was responsive, flexible and extremely easy to talk to. She is located in Warrenton, VA and my Wedding was also in Warrenton, VA. She came to us on site and we didn't have to lift a finger! She brought in all of lights, mirrors and chairs that she needed. After my trail I had some second thoughts on the hair style and the day of the wedding she was able to switch gears to a new style and it was FABULOUS! Her and her assistant did an amazing job on the hair and makeup for my bridesmaids and my adorable flower girl! Everyone looked amazing for our pictures and all of my bridesmaids provided me with great feedback as well! I would highly recommend having Jacquelyn and Enlightened Styles!!!!!

    You know it helps when your hair and makeup artist always looks fabulous. I feel like it makes me trust their professional beauty instincts. Well, Jacquelyn always looks fabulous. She has been a colleague in the wedding industry (I am a planner) and a friend for several years. I trust her to make all of my clients look beautiful AND comfortable with the hair and makeup styles that she applies. She is wonderful at asking about styles that her clients like, do they like heavy or more natural makeup,etc... And when it was my turn as the bride, she was no different. She knows that I am pretty specific and that I had a pretty clear idea of what I wanted to look like. I love how we worked through the hair and makeup trial together until I was certain that my hair swooped just the right way and that my makeup was just the right amount of dramatic and understated (Ummm, sorry Jacquelyn. I hope I wasn't too awful...).

    The wedding day was perfect. Jacquelyn made all of my ladies, each with varying degrees of makeup comfort feel like beautiful, slightly enhanced versions of their already awesome selves. They had a blast. And I have never felt more beautiful than I did that day. Jacquelyn did an amazing job and helped to make me feel like the blushing bride I hoped to be! I recommend her wholeheartedly!

Not only is she fun, she was on-time, very professional and very easy going when my maid-of-honor needed some changes made to her hair on the day-of.     I am beyond thrilled with choosing Enlightened Styles for my wedding hair and make-up. On our wedding day, Jacquelyn arrived early to the venue location and was all set up by the time me and my bridesmaids got there. She allowed for plenty of time to do all of our hair and makeup so that we never felt rushed or anxious. The morning would not have been as seamless and enjoyable without her! I am pretty simplistic when it comes to makeup, and Jacquelyn totally understood what I wanted and made me look exactly the way I had envisioned looking for my wedding. I was so pleased. Jacquelyn is a true artist and I highly recommend her!

    Jacqueline did such an amazing job. From start to finish, she was nothing but accommodating! During my trial, she made sure to redo my hair so it would different for my engagement photos. She took all of my concerns into consideration and made me look beautiful the day of the wedding. All the bridesmaids looked amazing too. I am so happy I found Jacqueline!

    Jacquelyn and her team were great on the day of our wedding! She arrived 30 minutes early and was set up and ready to go well in advance of our starting time! Jacquelyn was able to capture the exact look I was wanting; all I had to do was show her a picture! My hair and makeup survived all of my tears of joy and numerous hours on the dance floor! Not to mention the makeup looked amazing in in all of our wedding photos. I am so happy I booked Enlightened Styles!

    Jacquelyn fit me in on a Sunday to do my hair and makeup for engagement photos, and when my normal stylist couldn't fit me in for a haircut, she did that for me as well! She is amazing and made me look great for my photographs. I have booked her for my wedding and I can't wait to see what she does for that! Highly recommended!!

    I met Jacquelyn when my original hair and make up girl was suddenly no longer available on my wedding day (about a month before the wedding)! My photographer suggested I give Jacquelyn with Enlightened Styles a call, luckily she was available and was really supportive when I was stressing out. She did myself and my wedding party's hair and make up, and everyone looked gorgeous. Ever since then I have been going to her for my regular highlights and cut; my hair has never looked better! I would recommend Enlightened Styles to any bride who wants to look fabulous on her wedding day, or any girl out there who just need a nice, dependable, and knowledgeable hair stylist.

    As a wedding professional photographer myself, I knew that when we decided to have a 20 year vow renewal ceremony we only wanted the best with all of our vendors.     I loved working with Jacquelyn! She really worked with me on what I wanted for both my makeup and hair for my wedding! When I did my consultation with her, we talked through different styles I liked and she did everything step by step to make sure I was happy with how both my hair and make up turned out!     Jacquelyn at Enlightened Styles is amazing! She's so much fun to work with and I've enjoyed getting to know her. While I have yet to have my wedding everything leading up to it so far has been such a great experience. I'm not usually someone who enjoys being pampered with getting hair and make up done, but she does such a fabulous job of making you feel as though she's like a long time friend that you forget that she's also handling your hair and make-up. I recently started using her customized make up called Ammoura, using the foundation and lipstick. I absolutely love it. It works great and is reasonably priced as well! She works one on one to make sure the foundation matches your skin tone and for someone with sensitive skin I find that this foundation has actually been helping my skin and has started looking fresher and less irritated.

    FINALLY FOUND THE ANSWER! I have searched most of my adult life for a foundation that not only covers my red-faced Rosacea but is also non-irritating for my super sensitive skin. I’ve tried everything under the sun!! Layers of cover-up so thick you want to peel it off, burning skin – even with hypo-allergenic and all natural ingredients.

    I was asked to try Ammoura custom made foundation and figured why not? Thinking this won’t work either…. Well, to my pleasant surprise my Rosacea is not only invisible but I feel like I’m not wearing ANY foundation at all. No heaviness, no irritation, no sign of redness – NONE! I’m hooked.

    Truly though, I am so grateful to Jacquelyn for working with me to solve this daily dilemma. I have replaced three products, (I had to layer on to cover my condition) with one bottle of Ammoura made just for me!

    Jacquelyn was easy to work with, personable and talented. She made sure that as she worked that you were comfortable with the direction the look was taking, which was a huge plus. I knew right away that I wanted her to do my hair and make-up because her hair and make-up was flawless! I had my trial with Jacquelyn about 3 months before my wedding date and we tried different hairstyles and makeup selections.     From first email to wedding day Jacquelyn was amazing. Super responsive and professional. On time. My makeup made my skin look flawless (I chose to do airbrush), she also did a great job on my eyes! She also did the makeup for all of my bridesmaids and they looked great! All of the pictures look so good!

    At the last minute I decided not to go with the person I had lined up for my hair (due to a bad trial) and Jacquelyn saved the day by doing my hair as well! And WOW! It looked better than the pictures I provided! Stayed in place all night and was better than I even imagined.

    Jacquelyn arrived 15 min. prior to the appointment time to set up and was ready to start on time. She did 4 of my bridesmaids' hair, my hair and make-up, and my mother in law's hair and make-up. She would go off of pictures the girls had and what their expectations were and turn each of their updos into works of art! Everyone including me were very pleased at how quickly she did each hairstyle yet how professional looking the styles all were. I am the bride who is known to never wear make-up. She found a way to make me feel absolutely beautiful and not look like I painted on a new face. The make-up lasted all day and there was never a moment where I needed a touch up even with my tears of happiness throughout the evening. Jacquelyn was very personable and professional. She made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day! I recommend her services to any bride!

    Jacquelyn and her assistant were absolutely amazing! They were with us in the bridal suite all day and were a lot of fun :) I did 1 makeup trial and 2 hair trials before my wedding day. On my wedding day, they came to my hotel suite and did my bridal hair and makeup, hair for my 7 bridesmaids, mother, and mother-in-law and makeup for 4 of my bridesmaids and mother. We planned to be done around 3:00 and they got us done early so that we had plenty of time to get over to the venue and relax. Everybody looked AMAZING! I highly recommend Enlightened Styles for wedding day hair and makeup!

    Jacquelyn and her assistant were simply amazing! I used her service for my wedding on April 5, 2014. She styled hair and makeup for me, 2 mother's, 4 bridesmaids and 1 junior bridesmaid. Jacquelyn was wonderful with my initial consultation prior to the wedding. She listened to everything that I wanted and was able to create a spot on initial look with my very limited description! The day of the wedding Jacquelyn was on time, friendly, professional and prepared. Having her at the venue limited the stress and helped us all to relax and enjoy the morning getting pampered! It was like having a friend styling the hair and makeup. I enjoyed having both Jacquelyn and her assistant part of such a special day.

    My hair was absolutely perfect as was my makeup. She made me look like me just enhanced and photo ready. She made my bridesmaids and mothers feel equally important and beautiful which was paramount to me. I wanted everyone to look and feel their best and they did! My hair stayed in place after a windy ceremony outside and non-stop dancing. My makeup didn't even need to be touched up during the night! We brought Jacquelyn along with us on our destination wedding to Negril, Jamaica this past August and having her along on this experience with us was a dream!!!     Jacqueline and one assistant worked on location for my wedding day and for the wedding party. They were well prepared, extremely calm, and generous with their compliments. From the start, Jacqueline was professional and provided great recommendations during the hair and makeup trial which we used again on the wedding day. She prepared a schedule for 9 of us in the bridal party to style hair and a few of us with makeup- our party included junior bridesmaids, teenaged bridesmaids, and our mothers and sisters. It made for a relaxing wedding day where my party could be there with me and celebrate the preparations. Jacqueline and her assistant worked us in and out of the "prep" chair to the final touches chair - working on two women at a time. Everybody looked georgeous!

    Jacquelyn and I met for a trial, and I knew she was the right girl to do my wedding hair and makeup. She took pictures, asked all the right questions, and even brought her own chairs! On the big day, she did exactly what we had planned, directed my 5 bridesmaids and took their requests for hair styles while giving suggestions, and even squeezed in my aunt at the last minute. She was amazingly organized. She kept me calm, which was helpful on such a stressful day, and I got compliments all night on my hair and make up! I couldn't have asked for anything more!

    Jacquelyn with Enlightened Styles is absolutely wonderful! Her level of professionalism and expertise is hard to find. As a bridesmaid, I was tasked with finding a hair & make-up stylist for the bridal party. From the start, Jacquelyn was extremely helpful & responsive. She made the day so much easier and smoother.

    We ended up running late to meet her in the morning but when we arrived at the venue, she was already all set up and ready to go. She calmly handled a frantic group of girls and made sure we were still all on time to get to the church.

    The quality of her work was fabulous. We all had our own challenges with our hair but she was able to address them and deliver beautiful, unique up-dos. The best part was that by the end of the reception, which was outdoors and full of dancing, our hair was still intact. She also did a wonderful job with our make-up. I'm usually hesitant to get my make-up done by others because I never feel like they capture what I what. However, Jacqueline was able to find a great balance and I was very pleased.

    I would absolutely recommend Enlightened Styles! I had an unfortunate accident that happened a week before being in my best friends wedding that left my face badly bruised on one side. I was so worried that makeup would not be able to cover it up because of how bad it was, and was worried that it might show in pictures. Lucky for me, my best friend had hired Jacquelyn to do the hair and makeup for the bridesmaids on her wedding day! Jacquelyn was able to cover up the bruising completely, and the make up lasted through the entire evening. You could not tell in person or in any of the pictures that the guest and the photographer took. Also, my hair looked gorgeous! I didn't come to her with any pictures, but told her that I trusted whatever she thought would look good on me. She completely nailed it . I received so many compliments on my hair!

    Jacquelyn always works with my crazy schedule and she always makes me feel and look beautiful. I never understood how to wear makeup, and I wanted to look more professional; Jacquelyn made sure to take the time to teach me how to look fabulous. She recommend hair products that finally got my hair under control and she even mixed a foundation for me with her own line, Ammoura. I finally felt in control; I could choose how much toner, primer, SPF, luminescence, and so on, went into my foundation. I am a woman on the go, so Jacquelyn made sure to make my foundation meet all my needs. Jacquelyn mixed the colors until they matched my skin perfectly. I now have no more fear of my foundation not matching neck line! The makeup allows my skin to breathe and doesn't have any funky smells. I apply it with brushes for a flawless look. Jacquelyn genuinely cares to not only make you look and feel fantastic after a salon visit, but also how to teach you how to look and feel that fantastic all the time.

    Huge thank you to this wonderful team!

    Enlightened Styles was a wonderful team to work with from day 1! I had previously experienced their work in a friends wedding and loved the natural look and the use of natural products. I knew I wanted to use Stephanie and team for my wedding. The whole process from booking through the big day was seamless and stress free. Having a larger bridal party I was concerned for the timeline and herding everyone through hair and makeup but the team did amazing keeping us right on time! I also have to give a huge thank you to Stephanie for doing my flower girl's hair. She is not a fan of having her hair touched and we weren't sure if we'd even be able to get her to sit in the chair. Stephanie made it exciting for her and waited until she was ready to work on her hair. When she declared she only wanted a ponytail, Stephanie took direction and made a cute ponytail hairdo. She is still telling everyone how "fabulous" her hair was at the wedding! Thank you so much to the whole team for everything!

    I used Enlightened Styles for my wedding last month. Jacquelyn was wonderful to work with. She did a great job at the trial and really listened to what I was looking for. The day of the wedding she brought a great assistant. All of the bridesmaids ended up with looks they really liked. One was not thrilled after the first attempt but Jacquelyn heard her and re-did her hair so that it looked great. I appreciate how flexible and easy to work with she was. I would highly recommend Enlightened Styles.

    Jacquelyn did an amazing job both before and on my wedding day. She met with me twice to figure out exactly the look I wanted to achieve for my wedding and was so helpful and gracious, even though I didn't really know what I was doing! She came to my venue and did hair and makeup for me, my two bridesmaids, and my Mom before the ceremony - everyone looked beautiful! Throughout the experience, Jacquelyn was friendly, professional, and completely reliable.

    Jacquelyn is fabulous! She's very passionate woman and clearly loves her job. She is a very talented person. I'm usually not one to wear a lot of makeup but was glad I did. She's very good about matching colors with your skin tone. Highly recommend!

    I decided last minute that I needed hair and makeup for my wedding. Jacqueline went out of her way to find me a hair stylist and makeup artist. Greer did an amazing job with my hair and I loved the way I looked for my wedding.

    Jacqueline didn't have anyone available on staff to do my makeup but she reached out to her network and found me a makeup artist. Kara was fantastic. My makeup was beautiful.

    My bridal party and I had a wonderful experience with Enlightened Styles. Jacqueline was able to meet the unique needs and styles of different hair types and makeup needs. She was very relaxed and had everything and more with her each time I worked with her. She did a great job on my pre-wedding color as well as trim.
