Carol did a beautiful job on the flowers for my wedding. I know very little about flowers, so I gave her color ideas and she did the rest. I was very comfortable letting her chose the flowers. I had many compliments on our flowers from the bouquets to the church arrangements. When I look at our wedding pictures the flowers just pop off the picture. I couldn't of been happier with the work from English Garden.

Carol was so fun to work with. I was able to give her pictures of what I wanted my bouquets/arrangements to look like and what I wanted to spend, and she was able to find beautiful flowers to meet both my goals.

I am so glad that I heard about English Garden Florals from a friend. Carol Godshall worked with me to stay in our budget for flowers. The bouquets were more beautiful than anything that I've seen in wedding magazines, quite frankly! She helped to guide me to find a style of flowers that matched the same atmosphere of the wedding. She was always prompt in replying via e-mail and by phone. The flowers were delivered on time and were absolutely stunning at the ceremony and reception sites! She took care of everything.

I was just recently reminiscing about my husband and my wedding 3 1/2 years ago, and I remembered that due to a busy schedule around our wedding, we had not had a chance to share our wonderful experiences working with Carol at that time. Carol was the perfect florist for our wedding. She incorporated all of our ideas and feedback into the designs, was so attentive to our goals, and the end result was above and beyond what we ever expected. The floral designs that Carol made for our bouquets, boutonnieres, ceremony, welcome table, reception, and wedding cake were all breathtaking. Thanks so very much Carol for helping to make our wedding day so memorable!

Carol does amazing work! My husband and I were so excited to see how beautiful the church looked with Carol's floral arrangements. All of our family and friends commented on our flowers and wanted to know the name of our florist. I have given Carol's name to numerous family members and friends. Carol always goes above and beyond to find/create what you're looking for. Her arrangements are stunning! Carol will always be my first choice and I'll continue to recommend her to everyone I know!

Carol was such a pleasure to work with. My mother-in-law and I met with her for about an hour for the initial consultation. Carol was intent on getting to know us as a couple; our likes/dislikes, vision for our wedding, and asked for pictures and inspiration (Pinterest boards, magazines, photos of my dress, our invitations, etc.) to get a clear picture of what we wanted for our wedding. She listened and put it all together to create beautiful, unique floral decorations for our wedding. Since we were getting married at The Booking House (an old cigar factory) she incorporated cigar boxes in to some of the centerpieces. Carol was always easy to reach through email or phone and kept track of all the minute changes (colors for the guys bouts, corsages for relatives, etc.) Her prices were extremely reasonable and she has a large inventory of accessories (mercury glass votives, candles, wrought iron candelabras, glass vases, etc.) Do not hesitate to contact Carol. She will create something beautifully tailored to your special day!

Amazing florist and person!

Carol was such an amazing florist to work with, she definitely brought my vision of the colors I wanted and my favorite flowers together and is very affordable! When she dropped the flowers off in the morning I was an awe everything looked so beautiful! Would definitely recommend working with her, Carol is so sweet and goes above and beyond to help make your wedding day perfect! Thank you carol!

My husband and I got married on July 10, 2011 and Carol did an amazing job with our flowers! Flowers are one of those things that you can't see until the actual wedding day, but I could not have been happier with the bouquets. I had give Carol pictures of what I wanted my bouquet to look like and it was identical to the picture! Using English Garden Floral was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding! Carol is also great to work with and she's really sweet. She had lots of other great decorating ideas for me that didn't involve flowers....candles, beads, vases, lanterns etc. She's just wonderful. Have her do your flowers!! You will love them for sure!

I was very familiar with Carol's arrangements before I contacted her about doing flowers for our wedding. I've always loved how she puts together stunning combinations of flowers & plants that look both completely unique and completely natural. She has an amazing eye for texture and color and approaches floral arranging with great artistry. I told her my budget, colors and overall aesthetic and she came back with a lot of great questions to fine-tune the ideas. Mostly, though, I knew that whatever she came up with would be gorgeous and I trusted her to work her magic -- and as I expected, the flowers were truly stunning. Not to mention, Carol is a pleasure to work with -- responsive and flexible and friendly. I highly, highly recommend her!

Carol Godshall was great to work with. She hosted my mom and best friend and I at her house to talk through the flowers and details and she was very prompt in getting back to me with a quote, answering questions, and working out details. She was accommodating towards my budget and is a very pleasant person. On our wedding day, I was BLOWN AWAY by the flowers. She created exactly what I wanted using some ideas from Pinterest and my theme, and it fit in absolutely perfectly with my wedding style, which was rustic vintage. She went above and beyond with the ceremony flowers and emailed me a few weeks before the wedding with extra ideas she thought might work better than our original idea, and I loved what she came up with. I would recommend Carol to any bride.

I had a very small wedding, approximately 50 guests and a small budget. I was worried that I might have to settle for one of those package deals that they have at the big name stores. They are not flexible at all! Luckily, I kept looking. Carol was the only florist I found that promptly responded to my questions. We emailed back and forth many times. By the time we met, she had already had a good idea of what I wanted. I found Carol to be easy-going and easy to work with. Carol's knowledge of flowers and her ideas about less expensive options were very helpful to create the perfect bouquets for me. I was able to still have the flowers I really wanted and then Carol suggested less expensive options to use as fillers. Which were also wonderful. Everyone loved the blue thistle by the way! All the arrangements were absolutely stunning.

English Garden Florals too our Pinterest bird of flower ideas and brought them to life! She created the most perfect floral arrangements which captured everything we were looking for. Her sprays for our arch, table decor and of course the bouquets were so beautiful. She delivered and set everything up at the perfect time so everything looked pristine once guests arrived. English Garden Floral did such an amazing job with ALL of our flowers for our wedding. My absolute favorite was my bouquet with pink roses. Carol (the owner of English Garden Floral) was so easy to work with and I knew that she truly cared about delivering our vision. Besides amazing work, the prices were phenomenal. Carol was related to the groom of this wedding, and working with her was wonderful. I didn't have a very clear idea of what I wanted and she helped us come up with ideas, as well as worked with us when our plans or set up situation changed. Bouquets for bride and bridesmaids were elegant and beautiful. My favorite were the boutonnieres for the groomsmen -- simple and creative. Everything was exploding with color and good taste. Highly recommended!!

Carol at English Gardens was absolutely amazing! She was accommodating to our budget and did everything she could to meet the needs of our theme. Her experience shines through as you meet with her in her lovely home. She provides you hospitality, but most importantly a vision. Any other flower shop I visited (and I visited many) were not able to show me what they understood from my verbal explanations. Others simply wrote down my ideas, leaving me with no vision or sense of fulfillment that my flowers for the most important day would be exactly as I imagined. In addition to the hospitality and comfortable atmosphere I experienced when working with Carol, I was also able to visually see what Carol took from my ideas. She pulled flower bunches together and gave great ideas of what would work well, while keeping my budget in the forefront of her planning.
She was quick to respond to an e-mail questions I had and was always caring and considerate of my particular style of wedding.
Carol was very detailed in her written explanations when looking creating a contract. I knew exactly what I was paying for each aspect of the flowers of our wedding.
I truly cannot say enough about how wonderful my experience with Carol and English Gardens has been. I would recommend Carol for any event, particularity your wedding. She will treat it like her own and what I gained from this trust was peace of mind.

I absolutely loved my wedding flowers! Everything was gorgeous. Carol has a great eye for dectorating and making the space look beautiful and elegant. Her creative touches and words of advice on how to set up each area of the space were spot on. She makes sure everything is balanced and gorgeous from the cake table to rememberance table...mantel...head table.... all of her suggestions were perfect. Carol is a wonderful florist ... a MUST for your wedding day!

Carol was such a joy to work with! From start to finish she really made my wedding vision a reality. We corresponded by email at first because I was coming to Lancaster from NYC for the wedding. I shared my pinterest board with her and some of the flowers I wanted to use. When we met in person, she invited me and my fiancé into her home and showed us the rental items she used in her arrangements (and there was a lot to choose from!). She understood that we had a tight budget and worked with us. In the end I can't believe how beautiful the arrangements she made for us were for the price we paid! If you're in a similar situation, look her up!

Our wedding flowers were gorgeous and absolutely perfect thanks to Carol! She met with me and explored my Pinterest board to get a sense of the style we wanted for our big day. I shared my budget with Carol and she was very considerate when helping me plan. Prior to our wedding day, Carol visited our venue and gave suggestions for other décor ideas. I just wanted to say that I was absolutely amazed and completely and totally in love with what you did for me and my bridesmaids! when I saw the bouquets I was awestruck! So was everyone else! Mom loved it and really they were just perfect. I actually skipped the bouquet toss partly because I just wanted to keep it and take it home with me. YOU DID THE BEST JOB EVERRRR! I was having a hard time finding flowers for my wedding day. I didn't want to pay an outrageous amount of money, and it seems that the local "chain" stores didn't offer a valuable package to my liking. I found English Garden Floral through a friend and could not have been happier with the service and product I received. I didn't have a clear view of the arrangements I wanted, I just knew I wanted something "fall-like" and colorful. Carol helped me with my likes and dislikes, colors, and textures...and she went from there. When she delivered the flowers on the morning of the wedding, I was blown away. Everything was absolutely beautiful - the flowers went above and beyond anything I could have imagined. The colors were so perfect for the season and she added textures that gave the arrangements depth and a creative splash. It was a dream working with Carol - she made everything so easy. I would definitely recommend this business to all!

My husband and I planned a June farm wedding. We didn't want our flowers and decor to have a particular theme, but we were going for a certain look - romantic and sophisticated but also earthy with a certain simplicity. Through the planning process, talking about ideas and looking at pictures, Carol understood what we had in mind and created wonderful pieces. The flowers for our wedding party were gorgeous, the accent pieces (a few planters, wreath, and hanging pomander balls) fit our venue perfectly, and Carol made several unique items that matched what I had envisioned - a custom nest for our rings and a wedding tree for a table of family photographs. We were thrilled!

Carol was an absolute pleasure to work with! She answered my emails and phone calls promptly and would periodically check in with me as my wedding date approached. My flowers were absolutely gorgeous!! They were even better than I could have imagined. I gave Carol my budget and she was able to work with it and offer me options to fit what I was willing to spend. She also had great wedding decor items to rent, like beautiful lanterns, crates and other wedding items. I would highly recommend her to any bride!

I worked with English Garden Floral for my September wedding and could not have been more pleased! Excellent service, we had a one-on-one meeting to discuss flowers and color schema for the wedding, which was such a personal touch. The flowers on the wedding day were simply stunning, from my bridal bouquet to the centerpieces, and the price was super reasonable. She understood my vision for the flowers that I could only articulate with pictures. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to get great flowers at an affordable price. :)

Carol at English Garden Floral was AMAZING. We were so thrilled with her creativity and attention to detail. She gave us everything we asked for and then some. We choose Carol for her professional, yet down to earth personality. She meets with you in her home. You describe what you like, she creates a visual for you to feel more comfortable about what you'll be seeing on your tables and in your bouquets. Carol Godshall was a Godsend. She listened to my needs and wishes and used this information very thoughtfully. I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted, so I relied on her creativity and flower expertise to come up with some ideas. She was especially careful with designing around my budget. She gave me several options to choose from. I was overjoyed when I saw my bridal bouquet for the first time! Beautiful, elegant, classic, feminine, sophisticated.. everything that I had wanted! All of the flowers were absolutely beautiful and fresh despite the 98 degree temperature. They lasted well after the wedding. I cannot express enough how great Carol was from start to finish with our flowers. We came to her with very few ideas, but she was fantastic is taking the little we did provide her with and coming up with something that was exactly what we had in mind. Any time we suggested something or mentioned something that we had seen and liked, she was able to flip through her photo albums and point to something, then describe how she would tailor it to be what we wanted. She was very hands on, which was great for us to see how she was planning to do the different arrangements, plus she had so many vases, lanterns, stands...there were many options for us to create the look and feel we wanted with the flowers. The day of, she delivered the flowers, set everything up in the ballroom and they looked amazing. Once we decided to go with Carol, we knew that we were in good hands and that everything would work out beautifully...and it did!

Carol Godshall did an excellent job on the flowers for my wedding! Because of the circumstances, we needed to pick up the flowers the day before the wedding, and she was very accommodating and willing to help me in any way possible. I received many compliments on the flowers, and they withstood the entire day! Carol was able to provide me with beautiful flowers at a very reasonable price. She chooses the flowers based on your budget and still makes it look just like you imagine! I would definitely recommend her to anyone!

Carol was wonderful to work with and created beautiful arrangements for our wedding. I loved every piece she did for us. Because I didn't live in the area, we started by sending emails. I sent photos & links of designs/bouquets I liked, she sent back helpful comments and questions as well as pricing. We only met once in the church to go over where things would be placed. But she put things together wonderfully -- it was so easy to work with her. She even created my dream bouquet of gardenias for me, even though it required some unusual techniques. She is highly skilled, professional, and has a gentle spirit. The pieces I had specific requests for came out exactly as I had hoped. And for the pieces that I didn't have many ideas about, she used her judgment to create beautiful arrangements that fit in well with our overall style. I highly recommend Carol to anyone looking for a florist, especially for weddings, which can be such a hectic season of life.

Carol is a VERY talented florist. I recommend for anyone that uses her, to let her creativity do the work. People were raving over the flowers we had at the wedding and we had a LOT of other neat details for our wedding, but the flowers definitely stuck out in many of my guests minds. She did all the setup work and even helped out with some of our other details that were lacking. She is a wonderful woman and I was very fortunate to have booked her for my wedding.

English Garden Floral

Carol is hands down the best. I went in with a general idea in my mind. I knew what I wanted, but not quite how to describe it. Carol made it happen! We were in awe when we got to the venue on the day of the wedding and saw all the flowers. It was gorgeous!

Carol was WONDERFUL. Her attention to detail was perfect. She captured everything I explained to her exactly the way I wanted it. She was so personable and really made us feel like we were a part of her family. Her prices were extremely reasonable and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a florist for their wedding or any special occasion.

Carol is very knowledgeable about flowers & decor and has so many good ideas! It is evident that she has a lot of experience and expertise. When it came to choosing my flowers, she was very flexible and open to what I had in mind, and we seamlessly integrated the "look" I wanted with what was seasonal + local to our area. She was very responsive and prompt in answering with any questions I had, and her service was very professional. I couldn't have asked for a better florist for my wedding day!

My husband and I were married this month (September 2010) and had the PRIVALAGE of having the English Floral Garden do the flowers for our wedding. Going into the wedding we had a general idea what we wanted the wedding flowers to look like, but were unsure how to make the images in our minds become a reality. Carol was incredibly helpful and walked us through the entire process. Her ideas were brilliant as she told us about a few other weddings with similar tastes. In the weeks after the wedding, we are continually getting complements and positive feedback on the flowers! The wedding was beautiful and the flowers were even more elegant and beautiful than what we could have envisioned them to be. Carols attention to details set the flowers well above any other.

I would OVERWHELMINGLY recommend the English Floral Garden to all future brides! I have learned that flowers can be a true art, and Carol is a wonderful artist!

I had first heard about English Rose Floral from my mother, who had been actively researching vendors in Pennsylvania for me. I am originally from Pennsylvania, but now I currently reside in Texas. As anyone who has planned a wedding from afar knows, it is even more stressful than planning a wedding in your area. Especially if you are doing it without a wedding planner. You search online and check out ratings. When you finally choose a person you think is right for the job you hope and pray that your phone calls/E-mails and if you are lucky, a meeting with your vendor will result in a "perfect wedding day." I was beyond lucky when choosing this vendor to provide flowers for my wedding. The only time I was able to meet with Carol was in October 2012. I had no idea what kind of flowers I wanted. She came up with the ideas for me. It wasn't till a few months later that I decided to go a whole new route with my flowers. Carol was extremely patient with me and accommodating to my wants. Even though I only met with her once, all of my changes and additions were handled with great care through constant E-mails. Now to explain the 4.5 on value. There were a couple, very small and minor things that I thought were a bit pricey. These are things that, being the crafty people we are, could be made by ourselves. This should however, not deter you from this woman's work. When I saw my bouquet (she gave me a peak the day before when I went to pick up flowers for my hair that she made) it was exactly everything I wanted. Smelled amazing too. On the day of my wedding nothing was amiss. Everything was exactly how I specified. She also did the flowers for my cake and works with Rosie's Creative Cakes. Another amazing lady. But that is another review :)

Carol at English Garden Floral did an AMAZING job with our flowers! When we met with Carol, we brought a picture of the flowers we wanted and she pretty much nailed it with perfection! The bouquets were gorgeous (even prettier than the picture I provided) and she guided us along with suggestions for all the other items we needed. The centerpieces were absolutely stunning and you can tell that she puts her whole heart into her work. Everything was just magnificent! Thank you Carol! I highly recommend English Garden Floral...fantastic work!

I meet Carol when she did the flowers for my sister in law's wedding and she had done such a great job. So when it was time for me to find a florist of course I called up Carol. I wasn't entirely sure what I wanted I just knew I want each bouquet to be made up of a different kind of flower and then for each of them to be brought together to make up my bouquet. She did just that and they looked great!

Great Florist

Carol was a considerate, knowledgeable florist who completely nailed the vision for our event! She has a lot of experience, and it showed. All the flowers were delivered promptly. The bride's bouquet brought a huge smile to her face, and the other bouquets, boutonnieres, and accessory flowers blended seamlessly together to significantly enhance the visual appeal of our event. Good price, great work overall!

Carol provided centerpieces and flowers for the wedding party including the bridal bouquet and bridesmaid's bouquet. She was able to provide me with the wedding flowers I have always pictured for my wedding day!!! The flowers were just spectacular!!!!
