Engaging Events exceeds every category! Looking back, I do not think we can envision our wedding without Cindy and her team. They truly made our vision come to life and we still have guests talking about how amazing the design was and all of the attention to detail. We cannot express enough gratitude for the incredible work they did in making our special day absolutely perfect! Highly recommend, it will be the best wedding decision you make!!

Amazing and stunning wedding

I knew from the first moment that I spoke with Caroline over the phone that she was going to be the perfect choice for my husband and I as a wedding planner. Considering that we live 4 hours away from Charleston, this was a destination wedding for us and we knew that we needed someone from the Charleston area to take over and plan/coordinate our wedding. Not only did I have complete trust in Caroline and the entire Engaging Events team but I had a vision of what I wanted our perfect day to look like and I could not believe how amazing and beautiful our wedding day turned out. Anytime that I had questions, no matter how big or small, or needed Caroline's opinion she was always available with a timely reply. Even with everything that was going on with COVID, and some of our important Charleston visits being postponed, the Engaging Events team worked with us and our schedules and with each day I felt like I was in the best of hands.
For our wedding, I knew that I wanted florals as my top priority and with just my pinterest page, a couple of email references and a Facetime call (because our trip was canceled because of COVID) Cindy was able to produce some of the most beautiful and breathtaking floral arrangements I have ever seen. My husband even said to me that it was my pinterest page right in front of his eyes. Engaging Events does their own in house florals and that was another reason why we went with them. We received so many compliments from our guests from how beautiful everything was from the ceremony set up to the florals on the mantel to how smoothly everything was. I could not have dreamt up a more perfect day. Caroline and Cindy are absolutely amazing and I would recommend them every single time.

Engaging Events was a dream to work with! The help with planning was invaluable and the day of coordination was flawless. It was so fairly priced, especially in Charleston where weddings cost top dollar. The best money we spent on the wedding was in our coordinator Caroline from Engaging Events.

We had an absolutely amazing experience working with Cindy and the Engaging Events team. Cindy's attention-to-detail is unmatched and the experience was a phenomenal one from start to finish. Cindy was diligent, helpful, kind and had great ideas. She advocated for us in conversations with vendors and made it possible for us to enjoy our wedding weekend without worrying about the details. She knows that the little things matter and she cared for every detail of our special day.

We honestly love Cindy, Caroline and the entire Engaging Events staff. Over time, Cindy was not just our planner, she was our friend and we truly cannot imagine anyone better or more capable/committed to handling our special day and executing our vision. Book Cindy now. Perfect Day

Wow! Where to begin.... Let me just start with there is not one thing that I would have changed about our day. Everything was perfect. Cindy and Caroline were so amazing to work with. They were very responsive to all calls and e-mails. I am not much of a wedding person and never had much interest in the details. My main concern was food, alcohol, and for everyone to have a good time. What Cindy was able to do with a few pictures of flowers, cakes, and color palettes that I "pinned" on Pinterest was more than I ever imagined or expected my special day to be. When I saw the final product I couldn't believe my eyes! Almost every guest has said this was the best wedding they have ever been too! if you want your day to go perfect with no hiccups, it will 100% happen with Engaging Events! Thank you again for everything!

Cindy and her team are FANTASTIC! They made the whole process so much fun and ridiculously simple. I am awful at making decisions, so Cindy had her work cut out with me. She helped me narrow down what I wanted with ease. She also helped me stay within my budget, which was a definite must. Our wedding day went flawlessly. All I had to worry about was not tripping while walking down the aisle! Cindy is also super sweet and very accessible. I would hire her again in a heartbeat (but hopefully I won't have to)!

Hands down the BEST wedding/event planner in Charleston! When my son told me he and his fiance' wanted to have a destination wedding in Charleston, 5 hours from our home, I panicked! It's virtually impossible to plan a rehearsal dinner long distance...I had no idea what venues were best, let alone what vendors to use. Fortunately, my sister had used Cindy Zingerella at Engaging Events for her daughters wedding in Charleston years earlier and highly recommended her! Cindy is incredibly accommodating, knowledgeable, pays GREAT attention to detail, stays within your budget and is kind and even tempered. I told Cindy my vision for my son's rehearsal dinner and after one meeting in Charleston...she made it happen! My son's rehearsal dinner went off without a hitch. Cindy took care of every detail at the event and I got to spend time with my guests....an unexpected pleasure! Cindy was timely in responding to my emails as well as phone calls. I had researched and spoken with other planners in the Charleston area and found Cindy to be affordable and worth EVERY penny!

The BEST Coordinator in Charleston

I can not express enough how amazing Engaging Events was to work with for my Wedding in October, 2021! We did a full service coordination and they did not miss a single thing. During the planning process, as the bride I was asked by multiple people how I was feeling while planning and if I was stressed. My answer every time was no, the process was seamless for us, even as an out of state bride. That is all credited to Engaging Events amazing team. It was truly the most magical day, with the most amazing vendors. Highly recommend, you will not regret it!

They were excellent! Executed my vision exactly how I wanted it and went above and beyond on everything. They knew our venue (River Course, Kiawah Island) very well and helped us through some tricky logistics. Cindy and Caroline are pros!

The Fairy Godmother of wedding planners!

Working with Caroline and Cindy was incredible. I was one of those brides that basically had no vision and needed a lot of direction. The guided me through the whole planning and design process and made the most beautiful wedding I've ever experience. It felt like they were my fairy godmothers turning some small ideas into this amazing event! It even stormed pretty aggressively the morning of and somehow the weather turned and we had an absolutely perfect temperature and breeze (see they are magic!!). Carline was on top of everything and so unbelievably organized it gave me all the comfort I needed. Most people say prepare for something to go wrong on your wedding day and with Engaging Events I don't see how anything could go wrong, and if it did, I sure didn't notice (isn't that the point)! Thanks to Caroline, Cindy and the rest of the EE team for everything!

Cindy is a remarkably patient, flexible, creative, professional and optimistic person. Since we were out-of-town clients planning a destination wedding, her assistance was invaluable. She had many connections for vendors allowing us to choose the perfect florist, men's attire, cake, photographer, videographer, musicians etc., for our needs/budget. She is cost conscious helping us to stay within our budget requirements. Her staff, too, is terrific. I highly recommend Engaging Events to everyone planning a special event in the greater Charleston area.

Perfect Wedding!!!

Cindy, Caroline and their team were absolutely great and crucial to our wedding looking so beautiful and running smoothly. Caroline was always quick to respond back to communications. Caroline also helped with our stationary and welcome boxes and they turned out amazing, highly recommend letting the team help coordinate some of your wedding needs if you aren't using them as a full time planner. The flowers Cindy picked out were just stunning and better than I ever imagined. I also highly recommend seeing a sample of the linens and florals before the wedding day. I was hesitant but it turned out to be so worth it, as we were able to make changes. The team was running around the entire day of the wedding making sure everything was running on time and checking in on the Bride and Groom. Overall great experience, and the wedding was just perfect!

There are not enough words to thank Cindy and her team at Engaging Events for what they did the weekend of our wedding and the year leading up to our wedding! Not only did she help me coordinate the MOST beautiful wedding from 5 states away, but she did so in the most professional, organized, creative, and fun way. We were so impressed with how she doesn't miss a beat with one detail. She has great relationships with phenomenal vendors and truly helps you to mold your wedding weekend in line with what your vision is. It was the biggest pleasure and honor working with Cindy and her staff at Engaging Events throughout the entire wedding planning process, and I highly recommend her services. I found Cindy after she was recommended to me not once, but multiple times by vendors at each of the wedding venue locations my husband and I were looking at.

We used Engaging Events for their Month of Wedding Service. They were absolutely wonderful. Caroline did an amazing job and is the definition of organization. I was a little lost on what to do for the dinner table centerpieces and Caroline came up with a fabulous floral arrangement that fit our theme. She did a great job on the wedding day timeline and made sure every little detail was covered and taken care of. She kept us on track though out the evening and also during the planning process making sure we got everything done and did not forget anything. A successful wedding must include Caroline and Engaging Events.

Cindy did an INCREDIBLE job with our wedding. Having to plan a "destination" wedding could have been very stressful. After meeting Cindy however all of my nerves were calmed. Engaging Events took care of absolutely everything and I did not have a care in the world. It is incredible how they literally took care of every single detail for us from the moment we got engaged, until the spectacular wedding day. I have had friends who have not used a planner, or have used a planner they were not happy with. This caused them to be very stressed out brides who had a hard time enjoying their wedding. I truly feel the only thing I had to do was to sit back and enjoy my wedding. I had my ultimate dream wedding and it is all because of Cindy and her staff. If you choose Engaging Events for you wedding you will not be disappointed! They really do make your dream wedding become a reality.

Cindy was so fantastic to work with!!!The first time I spoke with her over the phone we just clicked. She took a bride like me who was a skeptic about the whole wedding planning process and turned me into someone who was truly excited about every little detail. She made it so easy for me to make decisions. She knows what questions to ask and to guide you in the right direction without being pushy or having an agenda of her own. Best of all, she listens!!!

I honestly can say that I could not have found a better planner for my wedding. I knew that every single detail would be taken care of and I did not have to worry about a thing. The day of my wedding was actually the most relaxed I was the whole process because I knew "Cindy was on it." She is a class act for sure.

When we walked into our reception tent, we truly could not believe the transformation that we saw. Engaging Events truly exceeded every single expecatation that we had for the space. We still look at pictures and can't believe that we actually had a wedding that beautiful.

We would highly recommend Engaging Events to any bride (and groom)!!

Absolutely a wonderful experience. Over the top on every single item. Could not say enough about how great the whole experience was. I feel like Cindy is truly a personal friend as well as an expert at her job. The whole weekend was absolutely perfect, not one detail missed and all of our guests wanted a "Cindy" for their events.

We were extremely pleased with the ease of working with Engaging Events as their availability, planning, design, and execution were unbeatable. Ours was a destination wedding in Charleston, on the weekend between Christmas and New Years. We were able to make a few trips to meet with the team but I don't really know if it was necessary. Engaging Events had ideas complimentary (and better!) to ours, inventory and ordering schedules anticipated for such a busy holiday time period. As beautiful as we thought it would be, our venue and every little detail far exceeded our expectations...FAR EXCEEDED.

We also took advantage of the day-of coordinator services. This service is with every penny as we met for rehearsal and walked through it all. I think it makes a difference when the coordinator is integrally tied to the planning company as it is one less line of communication that can break down. I wanted my family to enjoy the day, not work through it, and that is exactly what happened.

When my daughter decided to have a wedding out of town, she also implored for the services of a wedding consultant. My "kneejerk" with all of the imminent expenses, was NO NO NO. after pleading her case, I relented. It was not only a GREAT decision, but with the savings was absolutely cost efficient. Cindy was not only skilled in finding deals, but methodical, efficient, dealt with quality venders, tireless in her effort, accessible, and reassuring to all in the process. Cindy was there from start to finish, in the background, to make sure that all went well, even giving ol dad his prompts. At the departsure of the "new" couple, Cindy was still there, with her crew, to not only dismantle, but to make sure all needs had been met. I ABSOLUTELY WOULD CREDIT CINDY WITH THE SUCCESS OF THE WEDDING, AND THE COMPLIMENTS OF THE ATTENDEES, AND FOR ACTUALLY DOING THIS IN A VERY COST EFFICIENT MANNER!! I cannot say enough GREAT things about Engaging Events! I live in California so planning a wedding from across the country was difficult to say the least. Cindy not only made the planning part possible, but she made it enjoyable and there was nothing I had to really worry about. My husband and I made two trips to Chas. for planning, but besides that, much of our planning happend through email and phone calls. Cindy and Jessi thought of last minute details that never occured to me and made sure everything was perfect. I had a vision of what our wedding would be like and Cindy not only made that happen, but she made it our own. She listened to what we wanted, did research if needed, and allowed us to make decisions that would fit in our budget. I called every reference Cindy offered when it came down to picking our wedding planner and EVERYONE couldn't have been happier with her. That was a large deciding factor for me and if I had to do it all over again, I'd hire Cindy in a heartbeat. She's worth the money and you won't be dissappointed! I was a very happy bride!
