Great people to work with!

Endive catering and Stephanie Mule were fantastic people to work with! Food was so yummy, but most importantly, Steph worked tireless to help make my wedding reception vision come to life! She was willing to call me at all hours and days...even Saturday and Sunday!!! She was really helpful in communicating with different vendors and giving me advice on what would work best for my venue. Steph is such a professional and really cares about helping brides have the wedding they want and I would work with Steph and Endive again in a heartbeat! They were just so great to work with and I have nothing but great things to say about them and their work! Thank you Endive team and Stephanie for my dream wedding!!!

Hire this caterer!

From the tasting to the clean-up, the thoughtful, friendly folks at endive were so professional and helpful! Not only were they flexible in taking on our 75 person wedding slightly last minute, but they really went above and beyond to make it special! And the FOOD! We had SEVERAL people tell us that it was the best wedding food they had ever tasted! We served salmon, lamb, and a vegetarian lasagne- all in an outdoor tent. Everything was just as fresh and tasty as it was when we first tasted it in their restaurant! Seriously, do yourself a favor and hire these amazing people- you won't worry a second about it on your special day, and people will be talking about it for months to come!

Endive for the win

Amazing food, amazing service. 100% would recommend. The staff was great and accommodated our customized menu. The taste testing is out of this world and gave us a chance to try a range of their portfolio and meet the very personable chef. Working with Stephanie was a breeze. She knows her stuff!

Couldn't have asked for a better experience or food

from the beginning, Endive stood out. Julia - the Account Executive took so much time to get to know us and figure out what we were looking for. When we did the tasting we were blown away by everything - the beautiful presentation, the delicious food and the passion that Chef Drew had when he talked to us about the menu. They let you try practically everything and it was all so good we had a hard time picking our favorites. When we finally did, Julia was amazing at answering all questions, giving her opinions, streamlining our day-of schedule and finalizing the proposal. The day of our wedding - everything went off as planned. The staff was wonderful and courteous and the food was amazing. We had so many of our guests go on and on and rave about how delicious the food was. Overall, Endive was a dream to work with, the food is top quality and amazing, the staff is wonderful and the price was reasonable especially for how amazing everything was.

Endive was just incredible to work with. They were so quick to respond to every request and question. They made us feel really important and individual from the first phone call. They worked with us and my parents as we were planning from abroad. We were so happy with their willingness to change the menu and create ideas that we would be happy with. On top of all of that the food was just incredible. Everyone had nothing but great things to say about the food. They make everything fresh from the venue, and everything was just delicious. We were so happy with our choice of Endive and would highly recommend them!

Drew and his team did an amazing job with what became a somewhat complicated catering need. My husband and I wanted a gourmet vegan wedding--the kind no one would even know was vegan because it was so delicious. We had some resistance from the families, but they were all won over once they tasted the food (as were our guests--we've gotten so many compliments on how good the food was at our wedding). Drew developed a beautiful and flavorful menu at a reasonable price and his team provided excellent service throughout the planning process and at the event.

We worked with Julia at Endive to plan the catering for our event - it was awesome! She was so on top of everything and willing to help us with any. The food was so good and presented beautifully. Would definitely use Endive again for any catering needs.

Endive Catering is the way to go!!!

We had a reception of about 215 people at a brewery. The scene was casual and we had passed hors d'oeuvres and two "stations" of food. By stations I mean two awesome spreads with multiple options each!

Endive Catering went above and beyond the call of duty, not only helping me with the catering/food side of things, but really acted as an event planner, decorator, and trusted advisor throughout the whole thing. They were instrumental to the success of the party.

From the moment we met with Endive, we knew they were the best choice for us. They were reasonably priced but offered outstanding food and customer service. Having our party in a brewery as it was, we weren't trying to do anything overly fancy that didn't fit the space. Endive worked with our vision of a casual, fun party and guided us in decisions to bring that to life. (though I have no doubts they could also rock a formal 7 course dinner party) They were never pushy or tried to add on expenses we didn't need. I sincerely felt they had my best interests in mind. Shout out to Julia, who was incredible and I already miss talking to!

All of our guests raved about the food, the friendliness of the staff Endive provided, and how we turned an industrial brewery into an attractive, intimate event space.

Thank you Endive for helping me throw an awesome party for our guests! I will not hesitate to use you again!

The food was delicious and presented in a beautiful manner, they were accommodating and respectful of my budget, they were very professional and helpful (even meeting at the event venue to draw the ideal floor plan), and they made sure to pack up and send home all of our leftovers! I would highly recommend this company.

My now in-laws hired Endive for our Rehearsal Dinner at Chastain Horse Park on Friday, Feb. 3, 2012. They were amazing. They customized the menu to meet our style and feed our large group. The pricing was amazing and they were so easy to work with.

I have attended several events that they have catered and have never been disappointed. If you can hire your own caterer for your event... Endive is the way to go!

Also, they have their own event facility in Midtown, which is a great option for a smaller group.

Simply the BEST. Chef Drew and his team were amazing!!! Would highly recommend them to anyone and everyone, will be using them again for my next event!

I am shocked to find their score so low on here, they were wonderful from start to finish. My guest are still raving about the food and Chef Drew took care of my family when we had more people then planned show up to the reception. He took the leftover ingredients and made my mom a special plate just so she could eat! They were prompt at the cake cutting and serving, and even brought Ice Cream to serve along with it! My dad knew he was going to be charged for the extra people at the reception and went to them after the reception was over and asked how much he owe, THEY DIDNT EVEN CHARGE HIM EXTRA, he was blown away and so thankful and impressed with them!! Its been all everyone from my family could talk about for weeks! Endive won our hearts and our trust as a caterer, we will be using them again if we have an event!!!

I never had a single problem like what everyone else is saying! I personally based on my experience would highly recommend them to everyone!

The entire team at Endive is wonderful. They were great to work with and were very flexible with the menu options as well as extra ideas that I had.
The guests RAVED about the food and said it was amazing. It's not often that the food at a wedding is as good as a meal you would get at a fine dining restaurant. We were both so pleased.
Most of all, the staff that worked the actual wedding (servers) were the nicest people I've ever met. They were so sweet and so happy to be there. It really made the night.

Chef Drew, Carol, and the entire Endive team are truly amazing. From the incredibly tasting they prepared for us, to the wedding itself, the food was always unbelievable and truly made the event. As a foodie, I take these kind of things very seriously, and Endive was above and beyond.

Endive is simply amazing. My husband and I sampled food from various caterers and were blow away by Endive's food. Carol was fabulous. and the owner, Chef Drew, was very personable and hands on with our event. He was even there the night of the event, helping cut the cake and making sure everything ran perfectly. While our food at the tasting was good, the spread we had at our wedding was memorable and delicious. We had unique items like Chicken and Waffles, as well as traditional southern favorites. Our guests, especially the men, loved the food and helped themselves to seconds and thirds. Endive is also budget friendly!!

The crew at Endive provided delicious food (as many of the guests were sure to compliment) and did so beautifully! I loved how they made sure the food displays were still attractive, as if the florist arranged them. They were also incredibly flexible since we wanted to incorporate some of my mom,s traditional Ethiopian food. Overall, they were great to work with!

If you want to impress your guests and save money at the same time, choose Endive! We choose them for my daughter's wedding at the Foundry in July. We were initially nervous due to a few negative reviews but they far exceeded our expectations! The food was so great - we are still getting comments from people now, 2 months after the wedding. Most of our guests have said it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding. Chef Drew was quick to accomodate our request for an entree not listed on their regular menu and even prepared it gluten free without any compromise in taste. We found Carol easy to work with as well though it did take a couple tries to get the final proposal right with all the little extras (like linen upgrades and extra tables). Endive is reasonably priced and great food with nice presentation.

When we first went for a tasting at Endive, we immediately knew we had found our caterer! The food was aboslutely delicious and the chef was so passionate and thorough in describing the dishes. The food at the wedding did not disappoint! Everything was just as good as the first time we tried it and everyone raved about how good it was! My only complaint would be their responsiveness in the early planning stages. I was a bit OCD in planning things early and wanting to have information before I necessarily needed it. At times, it would be hard to get a response from Carol, likely because she was busy with other events. Thankfully I had read this in an earlier review so I knew it might be an issue. However, I also felt confident that they would take care of us in the end, which they did! Once it got closer to our wedding date, Carol was very attentive and responsive and helpful in working with me and my wedding coordinator. She was very flexible in working with us and creating signature cocktails (which were possibly the biggest hit of the night!) and also serving Chickfila as our late night snack (we had to have a "taste of Atlanta"!). Overall, we were very happy with them and would definitely recommend them!

We got quotes and met with a few catering companies in Atlanta but were immediately sold on Endive. They came in on budget for us (which most had not), and they helped us create a custom station menu to capture some of the elements that we wanted to from Maine. And our guests cannot stop telling us how wonderful the food was.

The day of event was flawless...if there were any issues, we certainly were not aware! Endive is a smaller company, so sometimes we did find that if they were busy we did not hear back immediately via email (ie- the holiday season), but we sort of knew that going into it and it was worth sending an additional follow up email. The day of really could not have been better if we had tried.

I would absolutely recommend them, you will get more personalized attention or better food!

Outstanding food and service at our daughter's reception! Chef Drew and his team did a fabulous job, and we had numerous comments from guests about how great the food was! endive did a fantastic job with our wedding reception at greystone. the food was delicious and everyone raved about it! they went out of their way to meet our special requests, such as a late-night server-passed food option...and a special display to place our cupcakes on using their own props. it really fit nicely with our rustic theme. carol garrity is super nice, and i would recommend endive to anyone. they also sent us home with a ton of leftovers, which we ate in our hotel room! perfect way to end the night.

Endive has absolutely delicious food. Also, I really wanted a salad that they did not have. I provided a recipe for the salad and they had no issues creating it for my wedding. Their plating of the individual plates and the buffets is great! My only complaint is their responsiveness. They took a while to reply to e-mails and update the proposal. I heard from them that they recently added people to their staff to shorten the time it takes to reply to e-mails.

We chose Endive to be the caterer for our wedding this past May 2013 and we had a pretty good experience with them. They started out very professional and wonderful. The tasting blew us away, it was that good. We decided on them immediately. Of course, with every detail, the price went up, but we feel that for the quality of the food, the value was good. Their professionalism had its peaks and sometimes its lows. We worked with Carol. She was very understanding most of the time, but had several panic attacks over minor details. We did have a big wedding (280 adults/50 children) and this idea may have scared them a bit. But I've got to say, the food turned out excellent. The beef short ribs were a hit with all the meat eaters and the vegetarian option was fantastic. The portions were large (although you have to specify that and they raised our price per person about $4/pp), the food was hot, and the service was good. The arrangement of the food on the plates looked beautiful and we had many compliments about the food from our guests. Sometimes it was hard to get in touch with them during the planning, but all in all, I would recommend Endive to friends.

The chef is outstanding and the food was excellent. Leading up to the wedding, I did not have a great experience. I felt I always had to initiate contact and push to set up a meeting to choose my linens and finalize the menu, then was told the company felt it had spent enough time with me and would not be coming to the venue for a run-through as requested by my planner. I didn't feel like my business was important to them at all, since they have plenty of brides they are working with at any given time (and told my planner so). It really stressed me out. At least on the day of the wedding, the set-up, food and service were great, hence the mixed review.

I gave Endive a 5 for the quality of service because the food is great and I do believe that for the cost, the food and service are really good! There is no denying that. Unfortunately, I had a lot of other issues with their service and professionalism that cause me to rate them poorly. We were assured that Endive would waive their 3% credit card fee when we negotiated and signed the contract with our account exec. But every time we would call to make a payment, we were given a lecture about the costs associated with paying with AMEX. In my opinion, this really strained our relationship with Endive. I would recommend working with Endive for their great food, but there are certain personnel that I would try to avoid if you want to get the warm and fuzzies from your wedding caterer. I also have to thank my incredible wedding coordinator for acting as a liaison and smoothing over a lot of issues for me.

Brides beware. Endive really looked good when we visited their open house and then again at the tasting. The tasting went great and the price was significantly better than the bigger, better known caterers in town. Kim and Chef Drew did a great job of presenting their services and food so we selected Endive. But in the final month before the wedding things started falling apart.

We were assigned a coordinator who didn't seem to listen, was late on his commitments (like the floor plan)and finally admitted he hadn't played this role before and was pinch hitting for someone else who could not make it. When we called Kim to complain she was immediately cold and refused to help. She actually said "I'm just the sales person, I can't help you". When I asked to speak to Chef Drew he was unavailable. In fact, he was on vacation for our wedding day so we even had a substitute chef!

When we originally met with Kim and Drew we told them that we wanted to be sure there were plenty of servers with passed h'orderves - we did not want our guests to have to chase after the servers to get an appetizer. So we increased the servers and appetizers over what they recommended - and we still got reports that some guests never saw a server. We were told it would take 15 minutes to server dinner to 220 sit-down guests. it took over an hour. The food that was so wonderful at the tasting was barely warm - and this is at the bridal table where the food was served first! The filet was tough and the fish was chewy. The presentation was not very attractive. When it came to serving the wedding cake the bridal table wasn't even served. I'm the mother of the bride and never got a slice of my daughter's cake!

That good value we thought we'd get by going with Endive? It never materialized. They weren’t so bad as to ruin the reception but they weren’t great either. And one would think Endive would have followed up with their clients to see how things went. Nope. The only call I received after the reception was from the coordinator telling me that he sent me an inaccurate invoice and wanted more money (which we promptly paid).

I would never recommend Endive to anyone.

Several people have asked me the one thing I would change about my wedding if I could and my only answer is my caterer. Endive was very unorganized and unresponsive from the beginning. They said they had sent me a description on agreement and I never received it. I tried calling and e-mailing with questions and it took weeks to hear back. Although the food at the tasting was good, they have no business catering seated dinners for large amounts of people. We had 118 guests at our wedding and only about 8 people were able to eat their steaks...they were RAW! Not rare, RAW! I brought it to Kim's (Endive contact)attention and she had nothing to say, no apologies, nothing. I've e-mailed them since the wedding to express my dissapointment and once again, no response. I was not a difficult bride at all, but the food is a big part of the wedding, and choosing Endive ruined that aspect. Go with someone else! Now I understand why they weren't a preferred caterer at my venue.

Let me start off by saying that Endive prepares wonderful food and an amazing presentation. HOWEVER, be prepared to micromanage them if you choose to hire. I had a realitively small party compared to what Endive is used to catering. It was in my private home and not in a big reception hall. Endive staff and professionalism was a disaster. They set the buffet, but forgot silverware. How do you forget silverware? My guests came up to me (the bride) asking if there was anything else to eat with besides chop sticks.... They couldn't remake a salad we had at the tasting and their excuse was "well sometimes the chef's get creative at the tasting and go off the menu, so we can't always recreate what they did at the tasting" Are you kidding? Why did i drive an hour for a tasting then, if you couldn't gaurantee the same food at my reception. Chef Drew did call me to apologize about the salad, but when my reception went to hell I heard from no one except to request payment. We had a very detailed walk through prior to the reception. I thought everything was handled, but when it came time to reception day they kind of did whatever they wanted and didn't stick to the plan. It was a mess. I was so upset and very dissapointed. I raved to everyone about the caterer prior to my reception. They didn't even come with the right utensils, they had to borrow pots and pans from my mom. Bottom line. They are great chefs and designers, but terrible business people with awful customer service. Their lack of internal cohesiveness and communication really shows through to their customers. Very dissapointing.
