  My husband and I hired Chris almost a year and half ago for our wedding last month. I had a conversation with him initially where he answered all of the questions I had about his style and way of going throughout the wedding day. Despite some changes I made to the timeline a few days before, he ran with it and reminded me it was my day and what I was looking for. Our venue was on a mountain so we lost reception trying to cover details on a call; he followed up via email (although I'm not sure my responses made it through either - the wifi didn't like my phone either!) and arrived when expected. After some on camera interviews, he blended right in and I didn't even realize he was there filming for most of the day (making it easier to act naturally). Just 3.5 weeks later, we have our lovely highlight film and raw footage from our day. His eye for detail is fantastic and his timing of shots fits so well in our film. We couldn't have asked for a better videographer to capture us as a couple so perfectly, even down to the choice of music in the film.

  I was planning my Richmond wedding from New York and was most nervous about hiring a good photographer and videographer, since that is what you have to look back on for the years to come! My photographer recommended Chris, and I am thrilled she did! Planning from afar, I did not have a chance to meet him before the DAY of the wedding, and he just fit right in and worked seamlessly within the venue (Cathedral and the Jefferson Hotel). He was also very flexible - I think I ended up asking him to stay for an extra hour at the reception and he was happy to and it was a very reasonable rate for the extra time. We opted for the Highlight Video (~5 minutes) along with the full wedding. It is GORGEOUS. It's amazing to me the amount of footage he was able to get from different angles throughout the wedding, it's like he had a team of 5. You will not regret hiring Chris.

  Amazing video and keepsake!

  Having a videographer should be as important as hiring your photographer. The memories that you have through video are priceless, especially for you and your family. We are so lucky to have found Chris as was the videographer for a childhood friend. Chris was professional, diligent and processed beautiful work. We absolutely love our wedding video and appreciate all of Chris' artistic work.

  Best videographer EVER

  Chris at eMotion Pictures was the best videographer we could have imagined having! Logistically, Chris is extremely organized and prompt; coordinating with him throughout the planning process was simple and efficient. We also wanted something a little less traditional for our video, and he was both thoughtful and accommodating throughout the creative process. On the day of, Chris makes himself invisible throughout the day and completely blends into the wedding. In the end, he produced the most wonderful video that truly captured the energy and excitement of our big day. We loved our short film so much that we ended up adding the longer version after the fact. I cannot recommend Chris at eMotion Pictures enough!
  
  Also, if you’re on the fence about whether or not to get a videographer, I highly recommend doing it. We were on such an emotional high all day that we practically blacked out, and our videos are the best way to revisit the day and remember how wonderful it was.

  Hands down the best!!!

  You would be crazy to not hire Chris! I had amazing vendors all around, but it is hands down the best decision made and money spent. It was very important for us to have a creative individual behind the lens (check - got FABULOUS highlight and feature films that made us feel like we're stars of a movie), and to have footage of the important parts of the day (check- got all we needed and more to keep reliving the day). Not to mention, he was able to capture every moment, from every angle, as if he had a crew of 5 working with him - I don't know how he does it!
  
  When we saw the videos for the first time, we were literally speechless and had no words to describe how perfect it was. We laughed and we cried and I don't know that we ever expected that someone would be able to recreate the day as if it was today - but Chris did!
  
  I could not have imagined anyone in the world doing a better job than Chris. We, along with our families, are so grateful Chris was part of our day and gave us a memory we will cherish for the rest of our lives.

  Like a Hollywood Movie!

  When my wife and I first received our wedding video from Chris, we both audibly said, "WOW!" That's how well-produced, edited and shot the video is. The video captures the emotion and celebration of the day and is an absolute work of art.

  Creative, professional, totally worth it!

  We could not be happier with Chris’ services. He was extremely professional throughout our whole planning, very easy to communicate with, and ensured he captured the video footage that we wanted. There were a few small hiccups throughout our day unrelated to Chris, and he was very flexible and adjusted accordingly. We are so thrilled with both our highlight video and edited footage from the whole day. The video itself looks phenomenal and has all of the footage that we wanted. Chris was able to capture the excitement and emotion from the day, and makes us both so glad that we invested in him as our videographer.

We just received our feature film today + footage of our ceremony/speeches/etc and I'm blown away with how perfect he captured our day.   Chris was hands down, the best money we spent on our wedding. We are so happy with the highlight and wedding videos. I never met Chris until our wedding day and while that would usually make me nervous he was extremely helpful, patient, & professional in answering my questions several times. On the day of, he was an incredibly stealthy ninja all day capturing every special moment of our day without anyone realizing we had a videographer. Another thing that sets him apart from other companies I looked at is that he includes all the necessary equitpment (multiple cameras, wireless mics, etc) in his pricing package instead of nickel and diming you for stuff that should be included to make the quality great. It was clear he cares about giving you a high quality video & knows the right equipment to make that happen. The sound quality was great, he got a variety of angles during the day to capture all our reactions and all while never being obtrusive! His editing is awesome, he has an incredible ability to pick out the best moments, timing of the music, and even things you might think “oh I hope that’s NOT on video” he instinctively knows to cut out. Our wedding was the best day of our lives and we can’t be more grateful to Chris for capturing every moment. I can’t count the number of couples who’ve asked us for his information after seeing our wedding video. If you were hesitant at all, hopefully now you’re convinced to look no further for THE BEST VIDEOGRAPHER EVER!

  Chris was fantastic and I cannot recommend eMotion enough. We've already had three friends reach out to us, after seeing our wedding video, to ask for their contact information. Our video was fantastic and Chris was a joy to work with all day. We barely knew he was there which is amazing, considering some of the shots and footage he was able to get. 5/5 stars and would even give 6/5 stars, if possible.   I can't begin to describe what an amazing job Chris did for us. I really wanted to have a videographer so I could go back and watch the ceremony for years to come, but I had no idea how wonderful the highlight and feature films he put together would be. The quality of the sound and video are phenomenal. It really is looks like a movie studio film! The films he put together really captured the spirit of the day and are something we will cherish for many, many years to come. So many of our family and friends we have shared the videos with have told us that they’ve watched it over and over again already! So glad we did the video. Chris was amazing and made us feel super comfortable. Some of the time I didn't even realize where he was shooting from and then we received this amazing film catching the beauty, joy and love of the day!   Our wedding video is even better than we hoped for! We went with the feature length one and I am so pleased. Chris did a great job of capturing all of the most important moments - including some that didn't make it into the photographer's batch. Having the short and the longer form videos is great as well. So happy we made the investment!

  We just got our wedding film back and we absolutely love it! I was seeking a videographer who offered reasonable prices and great quality, and I hit the jackpot with Chris. Another reviewer mentioned that she didn't even notice he was there -- I feel the same! His footage looks like he's right next to you at all times, while in reality, he's just extremely good at what he does. He somehow stayed 'behind the scenes' while being right in the middle of all the action. The highlight film exceeded my expectations, and the footage from the entire day is broken down into segments so we can easily find what we're looking for if we want to watch film from a specific part of the day. It is evident that Chris dedicated much time and effort into editing everything to make our highlight film perfect and seamless, and it shows! He produced the most beautiful video; one that we can't wait to show our kids some day and watch on our anniversaries to remember the day we said 'we did'. It was crafted to be personal, inclusive of the moments that you'd want or expect to see (speeches, overheard as you see the ceremony site, the guests arriving, the guys and girls getting ready, etc) and focused on details that the couple will want to remember for an eternity.   Before we got engaged, I always knew that I would want a videographer to capture our day. The pictures capture moments but so many moments are lost in the still pictures. Video gives you a chance to relive your vows, the small moments you forgot because the day flew by, your first dance, toasts, etc. When researching vendors, other videos were cheesy but Chris with eMotion pictures had videos that made me cry, laugh, and rejoice with couples who were perfect strangers. He was professional, accommodating, and very helpful throughout the planning process. On the day of, I forgot he was even there. Our video looks like we had a whole crew there to get all the different angles. After the wedding, we had the video back in a timely fashion and I love watching it and reliving our day all over. The video is more than I could have imagined. I would recommend Chris and eMotion pictures to anyone!

  Before we got engaged, I always knew that I would want a videographer to capture our day. The pictures capture moments but so many moments are lost in the still pictures. Video gives you a chance to relive your vows, the small moments you forgot because the day flew by, your first dance, toasts, etc. When researching vendors, other videos were cheesy but Chris with eMotion pictures had videos that made me cry, laugh, and rejoice with couples who were perfect strangers. He was professional, accommodating, and very helpful throughout the planning process. On the day of, I forgot he was even there. Our video looks like we had a whole crew there to get all the different angles. After the wedding, we had the video back in a timely fashion and I love watching it and reliving our day all over. The video is more than I could have imagined. I would recommend Chris and eMotion pictures to anyone!

  WOW... The video that Chris put together for us was simply AMAZING! He was referred to us by our photographer (Sean DeWitt) - as they had worked well together before. And they did so on our wedding day flawlessly. We were so impressed by Chris - he was everywhere, but he was never obvious. The shots he captured were incredible, and our final video was wonderful.   Chris was awesome! To be honest, I was a little nervous going into it just because Chris was one of the only vendors that we didn't meet with in person before the big day, but any worries I had quickly evaporated when he showed up. Chris is so personable and really made me feel comfortable. It felt so natural having him around - I never felt like he was in the way at all. He got some really great shots of the day and the final highlight video was everything we wanted. My husband and I both cried the first time we watched it - it was so well done and really helped us relive the joy of our wedding day. I'm so happy we decided to hire a videographer and Chris was definitely the right choice.

  Chris was wonderful!!! I cannot say thank you enough for everything he did. Our videos were perfect and so beautiful! I highly recommend using eMotion! You can't go wrong!

  If you are considering a videographer you should definitely choose emotion pictures and if you aren't, you still should! Chris did such an amazing job at capturing such precious moments. Super fun to work with and the end product will not disappoint!

  We were unsure about hiring a videographer mainly due to budget concerns but after reading countless stellar WW reviews of eMotion Pictures, we went ahead and booked Chris a little more than 3 weeks before the wedding day. We could not have had a better experience with Chris = he was considerate of our budget, incredibly responsive to emails, and highly professional.
  
  Chris is a one-man operation and lets you know upfront that it takes about 3-4 months for the final video. We received our highlight reel and documentary video of ceremony/reception a little more than 3 months after we sent our song selection for the highlight reel. It was SO worth the wait to see the final video and Chris really captured the best moments of our entire wedding day; the documentary video was super well done with seamless transitions from the reception entrance to speeches to loooots of dancing. The segments for our 3 minute highlight reel were truly perfect and we can't help but get emotional every time we watch it!
  
  I think a lot of couples overlook the idea of hiring a videographer (ourselves included), so if you're on the fence, just go ahead and do it - the wedding day obviously flies by but you'll have this video for the rest of your lives! Thank you, Chris, for capturing our wedding day and we look forward to watching it a million more times :)
