Book Emma to have a seamless wedding day!

Emma was referred to us by our wedding planner and after reviewing her work and speaking to her once, we knew we needed her to be part of our wedding weekend! She knew our venue like the back of her hand and had cute and creative ideas for poses and locations. Emma took control of the timeline which allowed us to just follow her lead - one less thing to worry about on a crazy day! From the minute she walked in, everyone felt so comfortable around her. She made the long photography process so much fun and you can see that in the final collection! We were even able to get 90% of our photos done before the ceremony! Her editing style is fresh, bright and full of life, I cannot thank Emma and her team enough for being such a great vendor! 10/10 would recommend Emma for any and all of your photography needs - she's the best!

Emma was fantastic! Highly recommend

Emma and her team did an incredible job capturing our wedding in April in Fort Myers, FL. We faced some logistical challenges leading up to the big day, and she was incredibly understanding and flexible throughout. Her calm, kind demeanor brought a sense of ease to the day and made everything run smoothly and joyfully. We had a large number of family members for photos, and she managed it all with grace and efficiency. We couldn’t be happier with the experience—highly recommend!

Swfl best!

I Would Highly recommend Emma! She is Professional & very Friendly. She was Quick to respond to my emails and her contract was easy to understand as she provides many different packages and pricing .
Emma knew I was Stressed Out for Lack of sleep & knew we were running behind in the days timeline, but offered me moments to myself to find my center realizing I was over stimulated & did not rush me into the next set of photos.
She definitely raised my Vibrations and I felt So Comfortable in front of her Lens , it was So effortless .
She is Experienced enough to for see "issues" before they happen

We cannot say enough amazing things about Emma- not just her work, but her general positivity, optimism, and warmth. Emma has been a complete delight to work with from start to finish. Planning was made easy; she understood what I was looking for, easily navigated lots of family dynamics in both planning the more classic staged photos while also knowing what candids were important to me. Emma was also a positive, funny, and lovely person to spend time with on one of the most important days of my life- I got married the week of Hurricane Milton, and needless to say, I was incredibly stressed dealing with changing numbers, cancelled venue and lodging, and shifting of all the plans I had worked so hard making. Emma is funny, warm, flexible, and was just absolutely wonderful. All that, and her pictures are STUNNING. We could not be happier and could not recommend Emma more. Thanks so much Emma!

Above and beyond boss lady!!

There are not enough words to speak kindly of Emma’s work and her personality and genuine care to capture all the moments that were very strategically planned out with her ahead of time. She let literally no one stand in the way of that. Our ceremony and dinner were right before sunset which did not give her much time to capture the very important sunset beach pictures. She was the boss lady I needed that day as I was overwhelmed and running behind schedule. She helped keep us on track and caught every moment beautifully. Treated my very blended family like they were hers even helping my 3 year old granddaughter get a drink and snack while were trying to get ready. Love love this beautiful lady highly recommend! We received our finished beautifully edited photos yesterday our wedding was September 14th. Again she is amazing please look no further for another photographer we were so incredibly blessed to have Emma and you will no doubt have the same experience we did!

Emma is absolutely amazing!

I can’t recommend Emma enough!
A little back story but our wedding was supposed to be on October 1st but Hurricane Ian had other plans. Our wedding got cancelled and Emma was the ONLY vendor who went above and beyond with us and for that, she’s the only trustworthy vendor I will trust from now on. However, we still decided to hold a small ceremony with family-only and she came out to the house and took the most breathtaking pictures! I am still in awe at what she created due the circumstances and location. I can’t wait to have her talent capture our reception day one day (hopefully soon)!

Five Stars Isn’t Enough!

Besides marrying my best friend & LOML, hiring Emma Burdis as our photographer was my next best decision. As an outsider looking in would have no idea she was “just” the photographer as she helped keep the day moving, threw extra curls in my hair, coordinating wedding party & family & everything in between! She was a life saver & got stuff done!! She was amazing to work with from day one as she is a great communicator, extremely detailed oriented and organized which made the process seamless. "You will have the very best, when choosing Emma Burdis"

Emma Burdis Photography exceeded all expectations.
On the day of the wedding, (05/21/22), it happen to be record high humidity, we were all melting a little bit, she was so patient with us, getting in all those, all important, family group shots. Emma knows just what to say to help you feel at ease, keep things moving forward and on schedule. It is very evident she loves what she does, attention to every detail, an exceptional keen eye for composition, not to mention, an absolute pleasure to work with. Emma is Beyond Amazing!

Can’t recommend highly enough. Emma was fun and natural to work with, while keeping our massive wedding party organized and on schedule. Our photos look like a dream! They are natural and “us” but our absolute best looking selves. The shots she came up with are stunning. I’ve never felt more beautiful! And perhaps most unexpected of all, our bus that was supposed to drive our wedding party to photos and the wedding broke down and Emma and our second shooter Ali opened up their cars to keep us moving (literally!) and our day went off without a hitch. Can’t thank them enough for a fabulous day and gorgeous photos!

You can’t get a better photographer than Emma!

Emma was so awesome to work with! I am very Type A and a planner and having a photographer who was so organized and created a full timeline of our day, but was also so flexible when things went not as planned was so amazing. BEAUTIFUL Photography 9/25 Marco Beach Wedding

EMMA IS THE BEST. She made photos on our wedding day FUN, which is a tough charge considering my husband dislikes photos and does everything in his power to avoid them. Emma knew this going in and built a timeline to accommodate our different photography preferences (given I wanted a decent amount of mementos from the special day). She made us feel at ease, made us laugh and took flawless photos without taking us away for most of the wedding day. We even got to enjoy cocktail hour while still getting sunset photos in, family photos, friend photos, etc. She is insanely talented at both managing the process throughout the day and delivering STUNNING photos that we can't wait to post and share with our friends and family. My husband even liked the photos themselves which again, is truly a feat. Her personality is delightful and her photos are amazing. An 11/10...can't wait to hire her again :)

Incredible Photographer!

Where do I began... Emma is such a talented photographer! We chose Emma to photograph our wedding in July and she was a dream to work with. From the very beginning she was just so personable to talk to. She made sure to include all of the pictures we wanted and so much more! On the day of the wedding, Emma made sure everyone was where they needed to be while keeping everything fun and exciting! Our guests could not stop talking about how fun and professional she was. She even was able to get photos of the dolphins that made an appearance on our wedding day! The shots she got are like a fairytale! Every time we look at them its like we are reliving each moment!!! The best photographer in sw fl!

Emma and her assistant were PHENOMENAL! I am from the daytona beach area but will always travel to sw florida for family photos, pregnancy shoot, anniversary shoots, etc. Emma did my wedding in May 1st 2021. She was on top of everything. Emma is phenomenal

I got married 3/19/21 and Emma was my photographer. My husband and I got married at Lovers Key State Park in Ft Myers FL. We are from WI. I planned our whole wedding 1,500 miles away, and I was lucky enough to pick the best photographer out there.
Emma was incredible. From the second I emailed her inquiring about her being our potential photographer. She was so responsive and organized from day 1.

I’ve been trying to search for the right words to describe Emma and her work. I’m at a loss, Emma is AMAZING!!!!!! Her work is just phenomenal.
From when she first arrived to take pictures of my girls and I, I was immediately impressed. She came ready to rock and wow did she blow it out of the water. We had a super tight timeline and she kept everyone right on track. Anytime that I seemed nervous or anxious about the timeline etc. she calmed me down and told me not to worry.
Emma was a breath of fresh air. My entire wedding party and family loved her. If I know one thing, my wedding would not be the same without her. Emma was so fun to be around and extremely detail oriented and it really shows in her work. If we need professional pictures from here on out we will be traveling to Florida just so Emma can be our photographer.

Amazing photos, amazing photographer!

Emma is amazing!! We just got married a few days ago, and the sneak peak photos we've seen are absolutely stunning. Working with Emma was so easy! We talked to her beforehand about the timeline for the wedding and what we had envisioned, and based on that she gave us her suggestions for the best approach to getting the photography done. In fact, she even suggested that we pay her for less photography time based on what we needed, even when she could have easily just let us pay her for time we didn't need- she is such a reasonable and kind person, and on top of all of that she is such a pro! A couple of guests are big into photography, and even they commented on how amazing Emma is at her job. We're excited to get the rest of our photos, and we highly recommend her!!

Amazing!

My family vacationed on Captiva in November, and as a last minute Christmas gift, my brother and I decided to buy my mom a family photography session. My husband and I have a 3 year old (very stubborn little girl) and a 17 month old little boy. Emma did a GREAT job with the little kiddos, and we even switched locations mid-way through the shoot due to the Red Tide (AWFUL). I was leery of how the photos would turn out with my daughter and her lack of smiling, but Emma seemed to capture every grin and smile Sloan allowed. The photos were AMAZING. I very highly recommend Emma due to her quick responsiveness, flexibility, and fantastic photos. Cheers!

OUTSTANDING, fun & detail oriented

Working with Emma was nothing shy of a blessing. I booked her over a year and a half in advance of my wedding and she was responsive, easy to get ahold of and so sweet every day leading up. When we finally met in person before the wedding I felt so comfortable with her- we walked the grounds, she asked me for a vision I had for photos, what I liked, dislikes etc. It was wonderful.
The day of the wedding Emma was by far the BEST photographer I have ever seen in action. I have been in and gone to a ton of weddings and her attention to detail, efficiency and overall fun and kind hearted spirit was second to none. She was flat out incredible. Also her assistance Mike was WONDERFUL. I HIGHLY recommend hiring him as part of your package to have a second photographer. He also was extremely detail oriented- he ensured my husbands jacked and sleeve lengths were perfect, he worked hard to get my veil to fly perfectly for photos- he just was great. The two of them as a team were brilliant. If you are fortunate enough to find that Emma (and her assistant Mike) are free on your wedding day, do yourselves a favor and BOOK THEM.

Emma was absolutely amazing. I had hired her for two hours for an intimate ceremony at LaPlaya in Naples. She knew we had limited time and a large family and she worked magic. The best experience

Love our photos !

I reached out to Emma after my fiance and I got engaged. We both live in NJ but my fiance lived in Florida for a majority of his life and my parents have a house in Florida that we visit every year so we really wanted to take engagement photos on the beach. The week leading up to our photos I noticed it was supposed to rain, Emma was great and told us to postpone until the following day to ensure we got great photos. At our shoot, Emma made us feel comfortable and took her time to take photos at all different locations at the beach. If we weren't getting married in NJ I would have loved to use her for our wedding because our photos were beautiful and everything we envisioned. If you are in the Ft. Myers/Cape Coral/Naples area, I would highly recommend Emma, you will not be disappointed!

Wonderful!

Working with Emma was wonderful! She is so friendly and calming, was efficient and prepared, kept us on track, and gave us tips and tricks to make the photos look even better! She was able to get them back to us faster than what she estimated, including a couple for social media on the night of our wedding! We were worried about missing parts of our wedding because we would be taking pictures, but Emma and her assistant Mike were so prompt we were able to quickly rejoin our guests during cocktail hour! On top of all that, the photos are incredible! It has been impossible to select less than ALL of the photos for prints or an album because they all turned out so well. Emma and her Team are Awesome

Emma's photography captured our special moments and tells the story of our day! Our bridal party raved about the efficiency of Emma and her team! Emma knew all of our venues and the perfect backdrops at each venue - the JW Marriot on Marco Island, San Marco Catholic Church, and Windstar on Naples Bay. She was fun to be around and comforting. She is very talented and brought a crew of talented professionals to ensure we captured the full day without being held captive to a tight schedule. You can't go wrong with Emma! She also knows the other vendors and worked collaboratively with our videographer - MDV Films (a small but important detail to creating a seemliness wedding day). Emma gave us great advice regarding our shoot list and timing. Jason and I are so appreciative of the time Emma spent with us on our wedding day. It’s hard to find the right words to portray Emma other then she is extraordinary, she takes every wedding with a new eye and treats it like it’s the most important wedding/event she has done. She gives you her up most attention and is very prompt in response, She pays attention to the minor details and does amazing sticking to the timeline, which is very well peiced together to ensure optimal time for sunset,family,portrait and bride and groom photos with enough time for fun and other wedding activities. Not only has She has done photos for me at a few venues and they turned out exquisite, she has shot an innumerable amount of photos at my venue and I hear nothing but high remarks about the beauty and turn around of her work. my favorite is how she knows the venue and all the great photo spots, I love love love her upbeat attitude and willingness to work this is the photographer you want for your wedding day and or engagement shoot!😍😍😍

We are so glad we chose Emma to be our photographer. She made us and our guests very comfortable and we had a blast taking all the pictures. She was also flexible when rain changed our timeline.
We were so surprised to have sneak peaks waiting for us the next morning! And the rest of our photos arrived well before we expected them. We didn't book much time with Emma, and still got twice as many pictures as we had hoped for. We highly recommend Emma Burdis.

Emma was more than we could have asked for in a photographer! She was fun and kept the atmosphere light the entire time. Each photo turned out more than perfect! Not only did she take amazing photos, but she had a timeline and kept to it so nobody felt rushed and everything was done in time. I got married at the Marco Ocean Beach Resort last week (2/3/2018) using Emma Burdis Photography. Keep in mind I have not even received all of my photos yet, but I'm still singing her praises. I booked her based on a recommendation and pricing, and I couldn't be happier. Emma is very sweet, and very professional. She kept my guests moving along, and anyone who has been in a wedding should be able to appreciate that. Within a week, she gave me a preview of my photos and I love what I have so far. At the end of her night, she even stayed a little longer just to get a few more of our special moments for us. I HIGHLY recommend Emma.

If you are looking for a photographer for your special day, look no further. Emma was such a blessing on our wedding day and truly was one of the best decisions we made. Planning our Florida wedding from out of state was difficult to say the least (*especially with the excitement of all the hurricanes*) and we didn’t meet Emma till the morning of our wedding. Usually that would make me a bit nervous, but speaking with Emma on the phone and via e-mail the months/weeks/days leading up to the wedding put all my nerves at ease. She was so helpful with the planning of the timeline, picture list, etc., and truly thought of everything for the entire day. She was very professional, yet so warm and kind, and knew exactly what she was doing - really everything you could wish for in a photographer! We received previews of our pictures a few days after the day and we are still gushing. I truly can’t say enough good things about Emma. You will love her and will not regret your decision to have her be part your special day!

I can't even begin to say how much I love Emma and her work. The day of our engagement photos it was super windy and freezing outside, but Emma made sure we had fun and took beyond beautiful photos. She was always available via phone/email to talk about the timeline and make changes. Emma kept us on time the day of my wedding and when she arrived at the venue I instantly felt less stressed- Emma feels like friend and has a way to make you feel at ease. She made sure to get all the photos we wanted and still gave us time to eat during cocktail hour! Our guests loved her and were raving about how funny and sweet she is. I am SUPER obsessed with every photo she took and cannot stop looking at them. Emma's work is beautiful and definitely magazine worthy. My husband and I already want to do holiday photos next year with Emma. If you need a fantastic photographer Emma Burdis is it!

Emma was absolutely fabulous from our first meeting through delivering our gallery extremely quickly! She helped with the planning process (and calmed me down about Hurricane Irma switching our venue), made everyone in our group feel extremely comfortable the day of the wedding, and took amazing photos! Words can't express how much I love and appreciate Emma for making my wedding day the happiest and most memorable day of my life. She went above and beyond in every way imaginable. I loved every single minute of Emma that we got! She was such a pleasure to have with me on this MOMENTOUS occasion and she got EVERY. SINGLE. SHOT that we wanted!! I don't know where to begin about our amazing experience with Emma. I couldn't say more about our her and her photograph skills. Emma was extremely professional and has an awesome eye for detail. Emma was absolutely phenomenal! I had to get a new photographer two months before my wedding. From the moment I met with her I knew she was perfect to photograph my wedding! She was organized and set up a timeline for family photos. The day of the wedding she captured every moment and the pictures showed them beautifully! There was a huge golf tournament going on at the hotel we had our pictures at and you would not have know in you saw the pictures! Emma is organized, fun, and artistic with her craft! Emma and her assistant Mike we absolutely amazing. Emma was a pleasure to work with and was very organized. She directed us on positioning and everything, but was not pushy in any way. I was very comfortable with her and everything seemed to be very organic in the way she directed and the types of photos she took. She was attentive to us and would help fix my necklace and dress so it would look best in the photos.
She has sent a few photos over as a sneak peak and I can't believe how amazing they are. She is an expert in sunset photos and it clearly shows with her work. When I look at the photos, I can't believe it is me standing there and it not being models in a wedding magazine.
Emma and Mike were great with our guests and my parents loved how they interacted with everyone. They blended in with everyone and I think they had fun too! Prior to the wedding, Emma was easy to communicate with and quick with replies. I cannot wait to get my photos from her!

Emma is the absolute best. From the first cup of coffee, over our phone calls preparing for the wedding to the day of, it felt like I was talking to a close friend. Emma photographed my wedding in downtown Fort Myers, FL August 2015. We had been in contact for months before the big day. By the time the big day came and she stepped foot in my hotel room, I already felt like she was a dear friend. She's professional yet warm. The best of both worlds! Emma was so easy and fun to work with at our daughter's wedding. We were running very late after our hair appointments. As a result, our wedding planner had to leave to coordinate guests at the destination site of the ceremony. Emma jumped in and guided us through preparations and photos. She got us to the ceremony in time. Emma is also flexible. It started to rain at the end of the beach ceremony. Emma agreed to stop at a beautiful park on the way to reception for outdoor pictures. We have not received the final pictures yet, but if the preview pictures are representative of what to expect, we can't wait to see the end product.

Emma is FABULOUS. My husband and I had a destination wedding 4/3/15 at the LaPlaya in Naples. Emma's reputation with the resort and hair/make-up places was outstanding, everyone only spoke highly of her. So to have her meet with us during a quick October visit was very fortunate. She was so easy to talk to and her work was outstanding! Her photo-books are breathtaking. During our meeting, she took time to help map out the pictures we wanted and a timeline of events. After our meeting, she kept in contact with us and was prompt in responding to emails. The day of our event, she was calm and collected, guided us through our event, and captured all the photos we wanted. Being a wedding planner myself there was no doubt in my mind who I would have to capture our big day ~ Emma! Although we did not have a large wedding party we did have a lot of family photos, and we wanted ALL our photos done before the ceremony. Emma was flexible in our shots list and was even able to hire a second shooter for us weeks before the wedding. Everything went flawlessly! She kept us on time and was still able to capture all the details shots I so desperately wanted and even a few more I hadn't thought of! The whole day became a blur to me and when the sneak peek photos came out I had tears of joy because I was able to relive all those special moments again! Emma was an excellent photographer! From the moment we first spoke with her, we were instantly drawn to her considerate and charismatic personality. Having a destination wedding and being hundreds of miles from Florida was a bit difficult at times. On so many of those occasions, Emma took time out of her busy schedule and allowed us to confide in her. She provided us with sound advice, resources, guidance, and of course, laughs! All of which were so helpful and greatly appreciated.

Emma was professional and flexible throughout the entire process. We had a lot of family to photograph and Emma calmly walked us through each photo. A few weeks prior to the wedding, Emma set aside some time to go over final questions, details, wishes, and the itinerary of pictures for the big day. This time Emma allocated prior to the wedding was so beneficial; things remained organized, went smoothly, and most importantly her time was used efficiently and effectively! Emma did a phenomenal job! I highly recommend her if you are looking for a photographer that is naturally gifted at their career and whose passion radiates! Thank you Emma for making our day so beautiful and unforgettable!

Emma is AMAZING! Not only was so friendly, but she was incredibly professional. It was like hanging out with a friend, but at the same time a trained professional. We had ideas for what poses we wanted, but she directed us to get the shots she knew we'd love. She was able to work with my husbands 94 yr. old grandmother and make sure we were able to include her. We wanted our shots on the beach, but she made sure to pick a place where Grandmother could easily move around with her walker. I absolutely LOVE our photos, and we love Emma!

By far the most organized and talented photographer I have ever seen work by! Emma captured our wedding dat beautifully. She knew exactly the things we wanted in our pictures and made me feel absolutely gorgeous. I could not of asked for a better photographer and would highly recommend her for anyones wedding!

Really cannot fault Emma's service at all.. She was fantastic made me feel comfortable was easy going and very organised before the wedding and during... Also after keeping me informed of my photos progress. I got to view them online at the weekend and they are fantastic.

I would highly recommend Emma Burdis Photography to any bride! Emma is an amazing photographer, and her professionalism, positive personality, skill, and organization made my wedding day a breeze (despite the unwanted and unexpected rain early on in the day) and my wedding photos beautiful! Emma was great from my first email and phone call with her to editing the photos and promptly (actually early) providing me with all my fantastic photos! I've heard nightmares from my friends who recently got married about turnaround time and lack of quality in their photos-thankfully i didn't have to worry about anything like that. Emma was early to the event, made me, my groom, the bridal party and everyone else comfortable and she just knows how to make things look flawless. She suggested poses that were perfect and location suggestions were spot on! Emma was very on top of my wedding day and knowing what shots I did and didn't want ... I found that I had to chase other vendors and send them reminders, this was exactly opposite with Emma! She made me feel like a VIP Bride!

As our wedding photographer, Emma was a dream!

Before our big day, we had a conversation to discuss my photography wants and wishes, from group pictures to artistic/stylized shots. Throughout the day, from getting ready to the ceremony to the reception, she was incredibly professional, friendly, and unobtrusive. She was always where she needed to be for the perfect shot, yet never "in the way". She kept an upbeat demeanor, and approached all our family members and friends with a smile, encouraging them to pose. Emma maintained a tight schedule which enabled us to arrive at our reception not too long after our guests.

About three weeks after our wedding, a CD arrived with tons of high-res, tastefully touched-up photos. Her photographic style is just lovely, and I am truly thrilled with all our photographs.

I can't recommend Emma Burdis enough. She is amazing!

Emma Burdis was our photographer for my sister's wedding in September 2012. She did an amazing job - very professional, great with our family members and working with her was a delight. She was creative with our shots, getting phenomenal shots of my sister and her husband in front of the church and at a local historical park. We will cherish the pictures forever. Emma is FABULOUS and I highly recommend her work!

Emma was PERFECT for my wedding! I was planning for a FL wedding from VA so there was a lot of emails and phone calls. Emma was very easy to talk to and answered any questions I had very quickly. When I was in FL over the summer planning for the wedding, she came by the house (where the wedding and reception was being held) twice in one week...once for a meet and greet and once to deliver the contract. Then, Emma came by the house a couple days before the wedding to walk through the house again to make sure she knew where to get the best shots and to help us with where to set the arch up on the beach so the sun would be in the perfect place for the pictures. She also sat down with me, my mom, and my mother-in-law and asked us what photos we wanted, who was to be in them, and where we wanted them. Emma wanted to make sure that she got shots of everything we wanted. During this conversation, she offered her opinion on where pictures should be taken, but she wasn't pushy. Later that day, she emailed me a list of shots and who was to be in them for the day of the wedding. She was very knowledge of when the wedding should start to get the best sunset pictures. On my wedding day, Emma made me feel beautiful!!!! (This was big for me because I don't see myself as beautiful.) She helped me relax, and most important....she captured the day with WONDERFUL pictures. When the time comes, I will travel to FL to have Emma take baby portraits...she is that good that I would drive 18 hours to have her take the portraits. Again....Emma did an amazing job! I highly recommend her.

Emma was amazing! I knew I wanted her as my photographer so I was thrilled when she was available on our date!!
She showed up early and made everyone feel so comfortable! She is good at what she does and she is extremely professional!
My family made it hard for all of us to stay on the timeline and I wish I had sent everyone a more detailed itinerary for pictures! My bridesmaid pictures were supposed to last only until 5:00 so she could get my grooms family pictures done in a half hour but my family didn't cooperate as well! Ha! So nothing to do with Emma!
Emma is phenomenal and you will be lucky to have her as your photographer!

Emma and her assistant were wonderful to work with! They were very professional and our guests were raving about them. The weather didn't cooperate on our wedding day and I was worried that our day and pictures would be ruined. Emma took stunning pictures - my husband and I were so happy when we saw them! Everyone we've showed them to loves them. I would definitely recommend her!
