  Emily was amazing. She connected with us several times over the phone well in advance of our big day to discuss all aspects of photographing our wedding.
  During the wedding she knew exactly what shots she wanted to get and how to go about working with our family and friends in order to get those shots. She was fun and energetic, but was not afraid to be blunt when some of our more “free willed” guests were acting unruly. She is a true professional and knows how to capture the experience, not just take photos.
  These are the photos that you will hang on your wall and hand down to your grandchildren. Work with Emily and know you are working with the best.

  Our experience with Emily was first class! She went above and beyond in helping us prepare for the wedding. Not only were our pictures beautiful, but our wedding ran more smoothly because of her planning and time management. Emily met with me beforehand to go over a timeline sheet for the day- and I was so appreciative.
  
  Most importantly, Emily is a kind and genuine person with a creative spirit that shines through in her photos. Her energy is contagious, and if I had to do it over again, I would sign Emily again in a heartbeat! She is the best there is to offer :)

  Emily helped make our engagement and wedding as perfect as they could be. Before even speaking with her I knew she had to shoot our wedding based on her website alone (and the fact she was recommended to us by her in-laws who attend the same church as my family). I was so impressed not only with her *stunning* work as a photographer, but with how sweet and caring she is. She's such a genuine person and it's evident that she pours her heart and soul into her work. I believe in experiences over things, and while although photographs are things, Emily was worth every penny because I have the most beautiful memories captured on film to look back on for the rest of my life.

  Emily is a five-star choice, hands down! She is incredibly responsive, professional, organized (best wedding timeline I have ever seen), genuine, enthusiastic, and easy to work with. She does a wonderful job of getting to know the bride and groom and blending right in with the rest of the wedding party. Her preparation and organization leading up to the wedding day made the day run incredibly smoothly. I cannot stress the importance of this enough. On the wedding day, she is focused and gracefully sticks to the schedule despite the inevitable "organized (or unorganized) chaos" that ensues, but is also flexible with the bride and groom's wishes. She is a wonderful advocate to have the day of your wedding! Personally, I am not super comfortable in front of the camera, but she has a way of putting you at ease and letting your personality and love shine through... and that brings me to the pictures. They are beautiful and truly capture the essence of your wedding day. Taylor and I feel so lucky to have such high quality engagement/wedding photos to look back on for the rest of our lives! Additionally, Emily is so passionate about what she does. It is infectious. I would 100% choose Emily again and again for my wedding photos (or any photos for that matter)!

  Emily is AWESOME - Look no further!
  
  Emily is a joy to work with - she is like your best friend & biggest cheerleader with the business sense to get the job done!
  
  She has great energy and passion for what she is doing....and her love for LOVE and all things wedding shines through in her enthusiasm and work.
  
  Emily really listened during our first meeting, took great notes and followed through with the details we discussed. She is thorough with the planning process, has a great website for submitting your photo requests/lists, and viewing your photographs online.
  
  Our engagement session was at sunrise and Emily arrived very excited for the amazing light and didn't seem at all phased by the soggy, dewy ground. We traipsed all around the venue and got some of my most cherished photos!
  
  On the day of our wedding Emily was fun and at the same time professional - she and Morgan her lovely assistant got right to work with detail shots. They were never obtrusive, but also did an awesome job wrangling our 60+ member family for that BIG group shot I had to have (Another favorite!).
  
  We had a long list of family formals and they did a great job of efficiently organizing everyone. It was a REALLY cold day and all our photos were outside - Morgan kept putting her coat on me in between shots and trying her best to keep me warm. You can't even tell I was shivering in my photos :-)
  
  We have so many amazing photos from our wedding, I am so happy we chose Emily to be our photographer.
  
  If you like her soft, romantic style then don't hesitate to hire Emily for your wedding - she is an up and coming photographer who I hope to be able to work with for other milestones in our lives!

  Emily is AWESOME!! She responds quickly to me with all my questions (And there are a lot)! She is pretty flexible with her scheduling, she even let us reschedule our engagement session when it looked like it was going to rain, to the next day, instead of rescheduling it for a month later!! She really enjoys getting to know you and your significant other and is just plain fun to be around! You would not be making a mistake hiring her for your wedding photographer!

  I could not have made a better choice than Emily March Photography. We had our wedding on the east coast but had to plan everything from where we live in CO and her long distance coordination was great. She was recommended to me by a friend and I was immediately in love when I saw her work on her website, but she really impressed me upon our first meeting for engagement pictures. My finance and I flew in for a weekend to get some planning done, and had a super tight schedule. Emily agreed to meet with us at 7am on a Saturday morning to conduct our engagement session outdoors. Having 3 hours of sleep and having to look good and smile for a few hours could have been dreadful, but Emily really made it fun, and got SUCH awesome pictures in a simple woodsy setting.
  
  Then, months later for the wedding we saw her and it was like she hadn't left me and Rob for a day, and felt like a friend showing up. On the day, it's hectic, and a bride can really appreciate an efficient professional. Emily said a quick hello, and got right to it. It certainly helps if you do your part and prepare her a bag of details that she will request prior to the wedding, then she's not having to run around, gather things, and ask questions. If you do that minor detail, she'll handle the rest. I got my pictures back and not only did she catch probably every moment where you think "Oh, I hope they got that," but she captured so much more, and beautifully. I had a bridal party of strong personalities, and she wrangled us right in to get pics handled so we could party. Emily is a wonderful photographer and I would recommend her to anyone, I truly could not be happier.

  Emily did such a wonderful job with our pictures. Being a rather type A person, I SO appreciated her being organized, prepared, and incredibly responsive. It gave us a lot of peace to know that she would absolutely be there on time, with a plan, ready to go! She was very flexible with rearranging her usual day of "schedule" to accommodate large families, church access times, and doing ALL of our pictures before the ceremony. Another big bonus is that she always brings a second shooter with her to weddings, which was a must for us. And of course, her photos are so beautiful as well...gorgeous soft lighting and colors...we have gotten so many compliments! Very, very pleased.

  Emily is an AMAZING vendor to work with! Her in-laws are long time family friends of my parents and I so she was easily our first pick for a photographer, but even more than that, her talents and abilities make her so desirable! She is beyond kind to work with, being totally understanding and patient with never-ending questions, and she knows what she wants on the big day! She is able to assert herself, while still maintaining that kindness and having fun. Photography is in her blood and rightfully so, as her eye for beautiful lighting and unique shots is out of the ordinary. Every second of the day, she was right there capturing the most important memories. It is so easy to look back through our pictures and relive the day. And more importantly than that, she gave us images we are so proud to display throughout our house, on our computers and phones as backgrounds, and give people as gifts to display in their house, simply because they are so gorgeous. 5/5, 10/10, 2 thumbs up...100% recommend!

  I wish I had enough words to express how thankful we are that Emily could photograph our day! I came to her a bit stressed, to say the least, because I had to cancel my initial photographer and was a bit lost. I met her at the cutest coffee shop in Chapel Hill and she eased all my tension and stress! Not only did she listen to me and my vision, her love of her job, along with professionalism shined through! We wind up not being able to have an engagement session with her because out combined schedules became insane before the wedding, but I did add on a bridal portrait session, and OH MY GOODNESS. If you book her, add on one of these. Trust me, if there is a will there is a way and you can make that budget work. I will cherish those pictures for a lifetime. The day of she was prompt, well organized, and again her professionalism and love of her job shined through. If we could redo that day over and over again we would hire Emily in a minute!

  Emily did an amazing job photographing our wedding! She was very efficient, prepared, and she captured every single moment I would have wanted her to. Her pictures tell a story and she does such a fantastic job of making her subjects comfortable and capturing their emotions. I would recommend her to anybody.
