Beautiful pictures and people

Emily sent me my pictures just yesterday, and I am soooo glad we went with her! The pictures are incredible. My husband and I aren't the most photogenic people, which obviously concerned me when spending so much money on pictures that might not turn out, but her and her assistant/husband sure made us look like we are. They were amazing to work with. I knew after talking to Emily on the phone that I wanted to work with her, and she did not disappoint!

We loved working with Emily for our wedding! She is such a talented photography and just a lovely person to work with. She had a way of putting us both at ease and making the photos look very natural and beautiful. She also was super speedy with getting our photos to us a month after our wedding! I'd highly recommend working with her!

Emily and her team were absolutely amazing! The photos came out awesome and I love how they captured the moment! We were so pleased with our photos and her service! She did such an amazing job capturing all of the detail and was so fun to work with! She is passionate, fun, and deeply cares for her clients & their needs! I definitely recommend her!

If you want a professional, talented, trustworthy, and accomplished photographer, then Emily Elizabeth Photo is the Photography Service of your dreams! My wedding was held in Kona, Hawaii and I planned it while remote in San Francisco. With Emily being located in Colorado, the whole setup was more or less planned from afar. Whenever I had questions, Emily was there to answer an email or chat on the phone. In addition, it was clear Emily put a lot of research into scouting out perfect locations for our wedding. One of the things that I loved the most about Emily was that she took it upon herself to ensure my husband and I's personalities were reflected in the pictures. These days its easy to find a photographer who can take the cliché, standard pictures that look fine. Emily went above and beyond to ensure that there was more to our pictures than the standard. She took into account our sense of adventure and travel, coupled with our love of Hawaii to take uniquely tasteful photos. After the wedding she had an incredibly short turn around time in sending us the finalized pictures (our friends who were married weeks before us received their photos several weeks after we received ours). I wanted for nothing with Emily being there. She was extremely professional, courteous, and a welcome addition to the wedding. She's worth every penny she charges - you will be very happy with what you get.

Emily is an absolutely amazing photographer, and working with her is a dream. She helped us figure out which photos we wanted, and kept the photos with family moving along and on time. My husband didn't really like having his photo taken, but by the time we were done with engagement photos he was quite comfortable. I highly recommend Emily Elizabeth photography!

Artistic, diverse, creative, and timeless photography. We worked with Emily nearly 5 years ago for our wedding in the summer of 2011. We had a relatively big wedding with several moving parts. Emily and her assistant were able to manage our group (and my nerves) in order to get all of the perfect shots to meet our needs. Our wedding photography is truly artwork and we still have many of these shots displayed throughout our house. We look forward to working with Emily Elizabeth Photo again for a shoot after the birth of our baby girl at the beginning of this summer.

Emily and David did an amazing job capturing the love and laughter on my special day. I would highly recommend their services to any bride and groom who would like their event captured in a unique, creative, and timeless way. Emily Elizabeth did such an amazing job for our wedding. I would recommend her to everyone! I planned my wedding out of state and she was so helpful communicating and responding to all my questions so quickly and effectively. From our engagement photos to the day of she was so wonderful and flexible! The whole process was so relaxing and she created the best atmosphere on our special day. The photos from our wedding captured such amazing moments of our family and friends and I couldn't have asked for a more perfect experience. I am beyond thrilled and would recommend Emily to everyone! Don't even look anywhere else, you won't be disappointed.

Normally I don’t write reviews, but in this case I couldn’t resist! I had a large wedding last August and I have to say, picking a photographer was one of my most dreaded details….until I met Emily Elizabeth! She was the shining star among the sea of photographers we interviewed and she never stopped shining!

She made the hiring process easy and her professionalism throughout the wedding planning process put me at ease.
It rained during our engagement photo session and she didn’t miss a beat. As for the wedding photos, she and her assistant captured every little detail from beginning to end!

Without hesitation, I would refer my friends and family to Emily Elizabeth!

Emily was so great to work with, right from the very first phone call we had with her. She has such a cool, calm, and collected personality that makes you feel like everything is going to be all right. And she LISTENS. In our first conversation with her, 9 months before our wedding, we told her how important our family and friends were to us (especially the ones who are no longer with us) and that we wanted our photos to reflect that. You can see from the photos she took that she definitely had this in mind on our big day.

On the actual day of the wedding, Emily and her assistant needed little to no direction. Once they had the basic idea of what we wanted, we set them free and they captured our wedding perfectly from the periphery without having to interrupt conversations, or tell people to stop what they were doing and stand a certain way, etc. It was a major component of the wedding that we really didn't need to worry about!

What matters most is the quality of the photos. I know that people feel obligated to compliment your wedding photos when you show them, but people seriously tell us that we have the best photos they've ever seen. And we definitely agree. When you look at our photos and see the beautiful lighting, the amazing colors, the thoughtfully framed subjects, and the joy on the faces of our family and friends, you know that Emily too was smiling from behind the lens.

Emily was amazing! We absolutely loved her! She was so fun to work with and she went out of her way to scope out areas so we could get the beautiful photos we ended up with. She makes you feel absolutely comfortable and makes sure that she knows what you want. Absolutely recommend her! If we are ever back in the Colorado area and need some photos, she will definitely be the one we reach out to!

Such an amazing experience working with Emily and her team! We had a destination wedding in Mexico and had Emily and her assistant join us for the weekend. Prior to that, she did our engagement photos as well. We had a great experience from the beginning - Emily took the time to get to know us and what were looking for. The shoots were fun and the results were amazing. We have had multiple people ask about our engagement and wedding photos and always eagerly recommend Emily.

My husband and I can't say enough good things about Emily and the pictures she took at our wedding and engagement session. Our relatives tell us time and time again that they are the best wedding photos they have ever seen. She is a master of composition and light. Emily was also a consummate professional throughout the process and honored our requests (and my mother's) during our engagement session and wedding day. She is a class act and very reasonably priced relative to other photographers we met with. She delivered our photos shortly after our wedding and then sent us a beautiful calendar with some favorites for our fridge. We are still going through and picking out photos for our wedding album and I have no doubt Emily will deliver another beautiful product! Like I said, I don't think there is a better photographer out there!

Emily was an amazing photographer. From our initial meeting all the way to the big day, she could not have been more understanding and easy to work with. We initially went with her because of her style but upon meeting her, I was even more sold by her demeanor and truly understanding what I wanted our photographs to look like. I should also add that neither my husband and I wanted to spend time doing posed photos. She was efficient with the portraits but quickly moved into the more fun, candids!

From start to finish she communicated well, took amazing photos, and was a truly delightful addition to creating lifelong memories of our special day!

Emily was an incredible photographer. She made me comfortable and at ease and had so many ideas for poses. She brought creativity and originality to our wedding day pictures while remaining timeless and classic. I still think our pictures are stunning. We love Emily and Emily Elizabeth photo! We used Emily for our engagement and wedding photos and now that our family has expanded we have also used her for newborn and 1st birthday shots! Every time we have used her services we have been very pleased with the photos that we have received. She is creative, listens to our thoughts, wants and needs, is responsive to email and phone calls, and really made us feel comfortable when taking photos. Emily was perfect. She was kind and easy-going but had the chops to corral my husband's slightly unruly, very large family. Her pictures were gorgeous and she caught all of the important shots we requested. She also had amazing intuition and captured many candid moments that were special. She took shots of things I had not thought of; this was great since after the day was over, I realized I hadn't taken the time to absorb the landscape and decor we had worked so hard to produce. Her prices are on the lower end (especially for the value) and she was able to work with our smaller budget. I would highly recommend Emily Elizabeth Photography.

If you want someone to truly capture you and your partner on your wedding day there is no one better than Emily. She captured special moments that no one else saw, but somehow she saw through her lens. I greatly appreciated having the rights to our photos after our ceremony. Emily gets to know you and perfectly captured our relationship and our day. I've recommended Emily to EVERY friend who has gotten engaged.

Emily is an amazing photographer. She was suggested to us by a friend, and I later found out that someone I went to high school with also used Emily for their wedding, which was a month before ours. Emily really listened to us, and got to know us personally, which shows in her style of photography. Our engagement pictures were beautiful, and Emily was even thoughtful enough to send us a calendar with some of our favorite shots!

The day of the wedding, Emily could not have been more calm and collected. We had a couple of hiccups the day of, and Emily really went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and help everything run smoothly. Our photos couldn't have turned out any more beautiful, and we are so grateful that we found Emily!

Emily did a wonderful job capturing our wedding! She is fun to work with and full of creative, beautiful ideas. I love our wedding pictures! Emily is such an amazing photographer. My husband and I could not have been more happy with her services. Our engagement shoot was so much fun and when she sent us our pictures it was such a nice surprise to receive such a beautiful DVD case to go with it. There is just so many great things to say about Emily's photography that it is hard to know where to begin! I was lucky to find Emily through a referral and so happy that I did! My wedding pictures turned out better than I had hoped for, she was so easy to work with, captured all the photos I wanted her to and just made everyone feel so at ease! Her photographs are more artistic than "posed" like some wedding photographers. This was important to my husband and me b/c we didn't want the same old, same old wedding photos that everyone else has. We highly recommend Emily Elizabeth Photo :)

We had a very small wedding (~ 20 people) and a limited budget. We received extremely high quality pictures during the 4 hours of our contracted time. Emily Elizabeth photography still supplied us with 2 photographers to capture so many precious moments. During the reception, my husband and his 3 kids played their musical instruments together. My new family is musically talented and this is the first time they had a "jam" session together with a sax, trumpet and 2 guitars. The photographer captured one amazing photo of them in black and white. One of my friends saw this and said, "I can hear the music through this picture". It was breath-taking. They do an amazing job.

Emily was so fun to work with, and our photos turned out beautifully. She showed up with a smile on her face and made taking photos fun. When it came time to enjoy the reception, she and her assistant continued to shoot great photos but were never in the way. Her creative eye makes for some stunning pictures. Highly recommended!

Emily was great! She was so respsonsive to my suggestions; met with me well ahead of time, and truly wanted to know what my husband and I felt was important to capture on our special day. Our pictures turned out to be so stunning as well as our engagement pictures! Emily, is personable and professional- she made everyone in my wedding party feel at ease and have fun taking pictures, which is a big task!! I absolutely recommend her to capture memorable moments to your most special day!
