  Emilie is the best!

  Emilie did an amazing job coordinating our wedding and re coordinating our wedding after it was delayed due to COVID. She was prompt to answer all of my questions and concerns and her advice was priceless. Our wedding day felt perfect and was completely stress free for me. Thank you Emilie!

  Shire Wedding

  A year ago today, we had the most magical Shire inspired wedding we could have dreamed up. It is all thanks to Emilie. She had the best local vendor recommendations, went to bat for us when there were major venue issues and solved all those problems seamlessly without us needing to lose sleep, and she kept us calm through the whole experience. She constantly reassured us that it would all be perfect and it truly was down to every last detail.
  
  She wasn't just a planner doing a job, but she truly made us feel that she cared about our day deeply and loved the inspiration for it as much as we did. She handled my husband's sarcastic humor and my novel emails like a true champ.
  
  We've both agreed that she was the best investment we made in our wedding and would forever reccomend her to anyone planning an event. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, you are amazing and we miss our meetings with you already.

  Exceptional service and stress-free wedding day!

  Emilie was such a blessing to work with! She was a fantastic coordinator for our wedding day, and super helpful for consultations throughout the whole wedding planning process, especially for a couple planning a wedding from out of town. My husband, my parents and I were all able to focus on various details and creating the overall vision, and when it came down to the day of, we had complete confidence handing everything off to her. She ran our rehearsal, organized our vendors, and truly made it so that all we had to do on our wedding day was show up and enjoy every minute of it. I also have to mention that it rained our entire wedding day, which shifted our outdoor ceremony and everything else to Plan B, but Emile was so calm and reassuring and handled all of it so seamlessly. The whole day felt so smooth and professional, and we've had so many people tell us it was the best wedding they've been to, which really speaks to her exceptional service and all the work she does behind the scenes to make it happen. Thank you, Emilie, I don't know how we would have done it without you!!

  Emilie is everything you could want in a wedding planner. When I first met her I was a quivering heap of nerves with no clue what to do next! She didn't even flinch at the prospect of my 400-person, Hindu-Christian 2-day ceremony. Emilie is a true professional with obvious experience and invaluable industry connections. And she is obviously not afraid of a challenge! She helped me to get organized, focused, and on schedule. Emilie worked well with all our vendors, the venue's planner and even the overbearing in-laws! On the day of she was calm and collected, and anticipated/thwarted any potential mishaps before I even had a chance to find out about them. She truly made an otherwise terrifying experience rather enjoyable, and I can not thank her enough for the beautiful wedding that she helped us create!

  Emilie is absolutely wonderful to work with! She helped me plan my wedding from start to finish and made it feel so effortless. She was very easily able to understand my visions/ideas and gave me suggestions when needed. By far the best thing about Emilie is her persona and calming demeanor. She is bubbly and easy to talk to and handles organization/stress like I wouldn't know how!! I believe Emilie is a big reason why our wedding day came out so wonderful like it did! Thank you Emilie!! :)

  We LOVE Emilie! Our whole family does! She did a fantastic job planning our wedding and making it one of the best days ever. She worked with us over the months to keep us on budget , yet still give us the gorgeous, rustic wedding of our dreams. She is very responsive (always) and she recommended us the BEST vendors in the city. When the wedding day came, I had zero stress and no worries about anything because I knew Emilie and her team were handling everything. Emilie is simply the best of the best and we are honored that she was a part of our big day.

  Emilie is the best of the best. She did our day-of coordination, and we could not be happier to have chosen her! She was very organized, friendly, and professional, and put us both at ease from the beginning. We loved working with her, and felt that she really cared about us and took the time to get to know us. Before the wedding, she helped us to finalize details and make sure that we had covered all our bases. She was very accommodating of our needs, made sure that she knew what we wanted, and was quick to respond to emails. On the wedding day, she and her interns did set up and clean up, and kept things running smoothly. Everything was beautiful, we really appreciated the attention to detail and dedication to making our wedding wonderful. Whatever we needed, she was there and took care of it. Our families had never worked with a wedding planner before, and they were so grateful that she was there! It was such a burden off of them, and they were amazed by how much she did. We would absolutely recommend Emilie to other couples, she is an all-star!

  Our caterer (Two Caterers) recommended Emilie as a potential planner, and hiring her was one of the best decisions we made in our planning process. She is responsive, thoughtful, supportive, and is a complete pro. She helped keep us on track in our planning process, organized vendors, and in the days leading up to the wedding hauled decorations to the venue, and even officiated our 'official' legal ceremony. On the day of, she and her staff did a spectacular job keeping everything running smoothly, addressing issues as they arose, and ensured that all the pieces were in place so that my husband and I could relax, take it all in, and enjoy our celebration. She is an absolute gem and I can't recommend her highly enough!

  After my sister used Emilie Duncan Event Planning for her 2011 wedding, I knew without a doubt that I wanted Emilie to plan mine when the time came. Emilie was one of the first vendors I contacted, and my husband and I are so happy we invested in EDEP for our wedding. Emilie was there to help with all the pre-wedding meetings and consultations, and helped direct us toward vendors within our budget and who would be a good fit for our wedding style. Not only was she a huge help before the wedding, with pulling my scattered ideas together to make our wedding vision a reality, but she and her interns handle the day-of coordination flawlessly. My husband and I both felt truly pampered on our wedding day, free to enjoy our day with our guests without a single worry about the details. I highly recommend Emilie Duncan Event Planning!

  I cannot say enough good things about Emilie and her team! Before the big day she was always available, and accompanied me on all final walk-throughs at our venue. When it came to our wedding day she was beyond amazing...
  
  We had a pretty BIG hiccup... One of my out of town bridesmaids' husbands was supposed to bring her dress with him when he joined her in Columbus on Friday. Long story short his flight was canceled so we were short a bridesmaid dress on the day! Emilie and her team sprang into action! They called every bridal shop in town and finally found one with a sample of my chosen dress. They convinced the shop to sell the sample to my friend at a discounted rate. The dress wasn't a perfect fit, but hey made it work! Emilie and her team were able to hem the dress on the spot! It was a crazy situation but they were so calm and collected. I still can't believe how well it worked out!
  
  Having Emilie there was the best choice I made about my day. She handled everything so we could relax and take it all in. Do yourself a favor and hire her!

  We all know weddings can be extremely expensive and brides like myself contemplate on whether or not to hire a wedding planner. SERIOUSLY DO IT! It is worth it! As I was exploring and contemplating on the possibility of hiring a wedding planner, I kept coming across Emilie's name and services referred by other top Columbus wedding vendors that I had been looking into. I then found out she worked with a co-worker of mine so I knew she had to be good! I am so glad to have worked with Emilie...she really helped with planning the details of my wedding. She was very prompt with emails and always had great advice with any concern that I had. She has a tremendous amount of experience and a ton of connections with other awesome vendors you might not even know about. My wedding day was perfect because I had Emilie and her awesome team working behind the scenes to make sure everything went as planned. My husband and I had an awesome wedding day and our guests say it's "the best wedding they have ever been to."

  Emilie is a JOY to work with! My husband and I weren't in the state for most of the planning, but Emilie helped us get everything taken care of even in the short time we were in Ohio. She was extremely prompt and helpful with her communication and a pleasure to plan with. She is EXCELLENT at diffusing tough or tense situations and helps to make everyone involved in the wedding happy. Emilie really made our wedding the most special day of our lives!

  Emilie planned the perfect wedding for us! She took our vision and helped it become the wedding of our dreams. My entire family was able to sit back and enjoy our special day instead of being stressed about things because Emilie took care of everything! Emilie also has connections with amazing vendors from flowers to stationers and everything in between and only recommends the best. I would recommend Emilie Duncan Event Planning to anyone that wants their wedding to be above and beyond anything they could imagine!

  We hired Emilie as our Day of Coordinator and she was great! She drew up a floor plan and schedule to help our vendors and on the day of the actual wedding she kept everything on schedule. Having Emilie there the day of our wedding was invaluable. I felt so calm knowing that she would make sure everything came out right and that I wouldn't forget to pay any vendors. Emilie is an extremely organized and thoughtful person, she is very easy to talk to and if you are thinking of hiring a Day of Coordinator I would highly recommend her.

  Well respected in the community, well respected in the industry and just all around amazing woman...Emilie Duncan was simply the best I could have imagined to plan our wedding.
  
  She loves what she does and it shows. She also very much cares about each individual couple she works with on a personal and professional basis. Our very first meeting she stated she had a thick skin and I shouldn't be afraid to tell her if I don't like something. She was true to her word. At the end of the day, she wants YOU to be happy and to have the wedding of your dreams.
  
  I will also credit her for coming to the rescue multiple times with last minute changes and pulling many rabbits out of a hat. Our wedding was simply amazing and could not have been done with out her. We absolutely adore Emilie and know the end of our wedding did not mean the end of our friendship with her!

  We hired Emilie for Day-of Coordination, and she was great to work with. She helped me during all of my freakouts- like on New Years Eve when we considered eloping and she met us for coffee and talked us down- and she worked hard to make sure everything was perfect.
  
  She was there when my favorite flower arrangement broke before the ceremony started and came up with a quick fix to make it look as awesome anyway. When our bartender (Ohio Event Bartending) stopped returning our phone calls she stepped up to take care of it. When the cupcakes got mixed up, she called the business owner. When my hairdresser lost the pictures of my hair trial, Emilie recovered them and sent them over. She went above and beyond ALL THE TIME. Not to mention she recommended other amazing vendors, which made our lives really flippin' easy.

  I highly recommend Emilie Duncan! She is professional, fun, caring and very knowledgeable in ALL aspects of wedding planning! Emilie kept me organized with a very detailed wedding timeline and was always available to answer my questions or to just listen to me talk about different ideas or concerns I had. Emilie had great ideas and had many vendors that she recommended that were awesome!! I have only great things to say about Emilie and hope you choose her as your wedding planner!

  I cannot say enough wonderful things about Emilie. At first, we were really reluctant to hire a wedding planner. We met with a few and didn't feel like they got us. When I met with Emilie for the first time, I knew we couldn't have our wedding without her on our team. And that is truly how we looked at her throughout the process - as a teammate. She was there for each step of the process, helping to weed out extras that we didn't actually need, vendors that wouldn't jive with our vision, and ideas that just weren't realistic. She took our thoughts and dreams and turned them into a reality.
  
  On the day of our wedding, it ended up raining (for our outside wedding). She worked with all the vendors to transition it indoors. We had so many compliments on how beautifully everything was executed and how smoothly things went. I cannot express how wonderful it was to have someone alleviate all of my stress before the big day. Emilie is definitely your girl!

  Emilie is the best wedding planner you could ask for. She has great ideas, helps guide you every step of the way as much or as little as you want, and she truly does everything she can to ensure you have a perfect wedding day. I highly reccomend Emilie Duncan!

  We found and hired Emilie as our wedding coordinator after a particularly interesting discussion with my dad during which he announced some ideas that were definite no-no's!! Since I didn't want to play referee, or quarterback, or coach or anything other than a smiling, happy, bride-to-be, we trusted Em to to take over the month of planning and we never looked back!
  
  Emilie did a superb job handling the multitude of vendors and even made some important decisions that I simply didn't have the energy to do! The result was an absolutely stunning wedding and reception, complete with her out-of-this-world emergency kit! (Seriously, ask her about it!!) My bridesmaids also enjoyed having Emilie's expertise around, as it took some pressure off of them so that they too could just enjoy the day for what it was.
  
  Emilie was hands down one of our best wedding investments, and I'll be sure to recommend her services to anyone who'll listen. Thanks again Emilie! :)

  Emilie was wonderful!! She was absolutely indispensible in helping us plan and carry out our wedding day. Everything went PERFECTLY and I give her complete credit for that. She suggested a number of different vendors for us and they were all extremely professional and personal and we were able have everything that we wanted for our day. I have to say that my father was VERY hesitant at first about hiring a wedding planner - he didn't feel it was necessary - but after meeting Emilie and going through the planning process with her, as well as being able to enjoy the wedding day knowing everything was in capable hands, he became her biggest fan. If you are even considering using the services of a wedding planner, hire Emilie! You will not regret it!!

  Emilie Duncan is without a doubt the best wedding planner you could possibly hope to hire. She provided us with detailed and personal assistance is every phase of our wedding planning. I cannot begin to imagine our wedding without her help and knowledge. My daughters wedding was the most well thought out and executed event. I was able to enjoy every moment with no anxiety or worry, knowing that Emilie was in charge and we were in good hands.

  I would highly recommend Emilie Duncan's event planning service for any future bride and groom. Emilie was extremely professional -- from our first interaction through the entire event and afterward. She is extremely knowledgeable, kind, an excellent problem-solver and has a great eye for detail. My husband and I worked for 13 months to make sure our wedding was wonderful and it went so smoothly thanks to Emilie's month-of-coordination. You will definitely want Emilie on your side on the day of the wedding! My husband and I were able to enjoy the day without worry. We highly recommend Emilie Duncan for all of your wedding planning needs!

  I cannot say enough about my experience working with Emilie Duncan Even Planning for my wedding. After getting engaged I anticipated planning a wedding could be stressful and time consuming. I actually felt very lost, and not sure how even to begin. It was at that time I decided the best way to go would be to hire a wedding planner. Finding Emilie was the best decision I made in the entire wedding planning experience. Emilie loves weddings and she loves people, and these characteristics make her one of the best people to work with. She is so unbelievably knowledgeable about her business, she could answer any of my one million questions and helped us find the most perfect vendors who she knew would work well with us. She is a professional but she is not removed from her brides and grooms, she takes time to get to know them and their families, which I believe is a quality that makes her so wonderful at what she does. Emilie kept me organized and used her fabulous attention to detail and creativity to really complete the entire look of the ceromony and the reception. When it came to working with me and my husband the word flexible to describe Emilie is an understatment. Emilie worked around my husband's travel schedule and the fact that I was finishing law school and taking the bar exam all before my wedding. She set up a planning schedule that allowed my husband and I to be worry free during some very busy times in our lives.
  We have always said that hiring Emilie was the best decision we made, I don't believe you could find anyone more qualified. Our wedding day was more then we could have ever imagined and having Emilie as our wedding planner allowed us to just enjoy the entire planning process and the actual wedding day. We could never even thank Emilie enough for the work that she did, I would recomend her to any bride and groom for their wedding!!!
