We LOVED everything about our wedding at Emerson. Andrea and Mary (and their entire staff) are incredible. And so accommodating! We were able to mix and match on the menu, and they brought in the specific wines and beers we requested. They made sure our signature cocktails were made correctly, and we loved the after dinner passing of the espresso martinis (served in a more spill proof receptacle). We’ve received numerous compliments about the food and service. The venue itself is a gorgeous blank slate that’s climate controlled (which was also very important to us). We have absolutely zero complaints, and we would have our wedding there again in a heartbeat.

My daughter-in-law said her wedding at Emerson Park was everything she dreamed of. The rain did not dampen the day at all; the ceremony was still able to be outside under the pavilion. Everything was so well organized; the venue was beautiful and spacious; the food was outstanding; and the staff was SO attentive and friendly. I also really loved the long center table with both families sitting together. The chef is amazing – everyone was saying it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding!!! Plates were licked clean. I highly recommend this venue!

My husband and I were so impressed and grateful for the wonderful job Andrea and her team did at Emerson Park Pavilion. A&M catering was phenomenal; we got the eggplant, airline chicken, and fillet steak as our mains and all three were delicious (especially the eggplant!)! Andrea was very helpful with customizing the whole experience to fit our wishes and our guests need (i.e. allergies). From start to finish the planning and actually wedding was so well organized. Andrea also gave helpful suggestions to other local vendors. The venue itself is gorgeous with a wide variety of photo locations. It was a perfect wedding day. Married Sept 2023.

Emerson Park is a gorgeous and amazing venue. I got married in May and it was the perfect inside/outside option. The organization and service was great and the food was delicious! So many people have asked me more about this venue and I promise you won’t regret it!!

We're so glad we found Emerson Park Pavilion! We had such a great experience working with Andrea. She was so accommodating and easy to communicate with — we had to postpone our wedding twice due to COVID, and we felt so lucky to be working with someone so easy going and responsive. Rescheduling twice was daunting, but with Andrea's help it was no hassle at all. The venue is gorgeous — really a hidden gem in the Finger Lakes area! We were looking for a lakefront venue with both outdoor space for our ceremony and indoor space for the reception. This was surprisingly difficult to find in the Finger Lakes, but Emerson had just what we wanted. They have a beautiful lakefront lawn where we had our ceremony, an indoor bar space and outdoor veranda overlooking the lake, which we used for our cocktail hour, and then a large ballroom where we had the reception. We got so many compliments from our guests about both how perfect the space was and how great the food was. Someone even told us it was the best filet mignon they'd ever had! We looked at a LOT of wedding venues in the Finger Lakes area, and we were so happy to have found Emerson Park. It was everything we hoped for in a wedding venue. We highly recommend it in every way!

I can’t imagine a more beautiful scene than the flower fountain with Owasco lake in the background. Our ceremony was one from my dreams! The transition from ceremony to cocktail to reception is seamless. It’s great to have everything in one beautiful venue.
Andrea from A&M catering was great to work with. We originally booked in 2019 for a 2020 wedding and ended up in August 2021. Andrea was there to answer our questions and help us every step of the way. She ran day of logistics which was great to have a coordinator built in to the venue.
The food and drink that comes with the venue was amazing too. Our guests loved their meals, the signature drinks were great, and I ate so many appetizers!
If you have a chance, book this venue. You won’t regret it!!

Not only is the venue huge and with a beautiful setting the staff and Andrea were fantastic to work with. Planning a wedding is stressful, especially during a pandemic but Andrea was very understanding and never pressured us and we were able to have the wedding of our dreams. The wait staff was kind and responsive and took care of all our needs. I recommend booking the both rooms at the venue because having spaces for both cocktail hour and the reception was awesome plus extra restrooms. The food was fantastic, we did family style which is a great option to allow guest to have more options! I am so happy we had our wedding at Emerson Park!

We highly recommend A&M catering! My wife and I had A&M cater our wedding at Aster in Skaneateles in June 2021. A&M’s owner Andrea was very professional throughout the process and also very easy to work with. I felt very comfortable reaching out to her anytime in the process for clarification or to just talk through details. We ended up having a buffet service with food that was fantastic. Our tasting was also very helpful, as we left feeling comfortable that whatever food choices were made would be very good quality. A&M was very flexible with us in terms of selecting food options and making decisions along the way. There were a few major decisions (buffet vs sit down, alcohol, etc.) that took my wife and I some time to work through. Andrea was very patient with us along the way and made the process as simple as possible. A&M also handled all of the glassware orders and cleanup of their dishes, which made the cleanup process go much smoother. As a final detail, A&M’s onsite contact during the wedding made a point of making sure my wife and I were taken care of in terms of our own food and drinks, which was much appreciated during the wild wedding times. Emerson Park is the most gorgeous venue - both inside and out! Andrea, Michael, and the team at A&M Catering are the best in the business. Even during the pandemic, they helped us have our dream wedding!! Andrea is so kind, creative, and caring. She has the most amazing ideas, and she and Michael are the best team to make those visions come to life. Andrea and Michael were so accommodating in every single way. We had to postpone our wedding due to the pandemic, and Andrea and Michael never charged us any extra or changed any fees. Andrea and Michael are so honest, and bring such human compassion to their business! You will feel like you're having a casual, relaxing conversation with your new best friend when you speak with them. The pavilion is a blank slate that allows you to transform the space to accommodate your own style and vision. The catering is absolutely phenomenal! We have multiple tricky food allergies in our family, and this was accommodated from the start - at both the tasting and the actual wedding. As someone who hasn't eaten a restaurant meal in over 3 years, having a fully safe meal was a huge treat, and our guests never even noticed that anything was missing! Amazing!! We were so pleased that we could have a fun, beautiful, and SAFE wedding - even during the pandemic! Thank you for making our dreams come true, Andrea and Michael!!!

We had a wedding in December. It was perfect. Andrea and Mike are fabulous. Food was great! Highly recommend! It is such a beautiful setting, no matter the season.

BEST VENUE EVER. I can’t say enough good things about this venue and the amazing people running it. The food was amazing, there was so much room to move around and more importantly dance. They accommodated everything I asked and helped with everything which made the experience stress free. We had an amazing band and the stage was PERFECT. Not to mention the venue itself is stunning. I promise you will not regret getting married at Emerson Park!

My husband and I got married at Emerson park in August and we had the best day! Everything about our experience with Andrea was wonderful. She truly made the entire planning process so easy and always made me feel at ease. Andrea was always prompt with responses and had great recommendations when I needed them. Our guests had a blast and several said it was the best wedding they had ever been to. All of the staff was so attentive and kind to our guests. Andrea made sure everything went off with out a hitch on our wedding day and I never had to worry about a thing, instead I was able to celebrate with all my family and friends. I would absolutely recommend Emerson Park for a wedding and would do it all over again in a heart beat!

The staff was wonderful to work with start to finish Andrea is absolutely amazing . She made the planning and the actual wedding day simple for us . We told her what we wanted and we simply just showed up and enjoy the day ! We held our wedding reception here. It was beautiful! The staff were kind, professional, and very accommodating. All of our guests were in awe of how delicious the food was and the staff made it so easy for my new husband and I to relax, take it easy, and enjoy our day!

We LOVED Emerson Park. Best day of our lives! They are wonderful people to work with, everyone was so accommodating and the staff is outstanding! If a drink was empty or a plate was finished they made sure to be on top of everything. They whole day went so smooth, I am so grateful for them! And not to mention the place is gorgeous! It’s located right on the lake for a perfect backdrop for photos. All I keep saying is I want to get married again!! We actually got to attend a wedding the weekend after ours and be guests this time, it was so cool the place was transformed completely different from our wedding and everything was just as perfect!

We worked with Rene who was super professional, experienced and very accommodating to our needs and concerns. Our reception was Hawaiian themed and Rene had lots of great ideas to assist in making the event come off with style and class. Our group included several people with special food restrictions (gluten, dairy, Kosher, etc.). Rene and the staff were super helpful and flexible in making sure that everyone's needs were attended to. The venue was the perfect size for our group of about 65 on a beautiful summer day. The deck, dance floor, and bar area worked great. We hooked our laptop up to the large TV in the bar area and showed photos of our wedding that happened a few months prior to the event. Food was good too, as was the signature drink, prepared by the bartender. Photos of our family, out in front of the gazebo turned out nicely.

We got married at the Lansing Event Center in June, 2018 and have nothing but amazing things to say about our experience. The venue is beautiful and has plenty of space for everything you could want at a wedding. We had views of the gorgeous pond during our ceremony and reception, a large fire pit for s’mores, plenty of yard space for lawn games and for our guests to mingle and the large indoor space for the bar and dance floor opening onto the deck. Rene and Jamie were incredible to work with, responded quickly and were very accommodating. They truly went above and beyond to make this day perfect. All of the staff members were very nice and professional. The chef personally walked us through the buffet. The food was amazing, we had so many guests tell us it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. We found the pricing to be very reasonable and we loved that we could do the entire wedding there from start to finish to really make the most of our special day. The pond provided a gorgeous backdrop for pictures, especially when the sun started to set. There were so many details put into this day by staff at H&J and we have nothing but incredibly fond memories. We would recommend them highly and will definitely be using the company and Landing Event Center for any future events we have.

H&J catered our daguhter's June 16, 2018 wedding at the Emerson. Andrea was very professional and helpful from day one inquiries to day of. activities and support The food was wonderful; and our guests raved aout about the food selections as well. We had looked for about a year in central NY for a quality facility and caterer and we couln't have been happier with our choice.

Emerson Park Pavilion was the perfect choice for our venue. I contacted many venues and Emerson was a clear pick. The Pavilion is a historic, renovated building right on the water located in the Finger Lakes region, it is simple and beautiful. Everyone was friendly and prompt, and H & J Hospitality made everything simple. The prices were clearly laid out and the venue included almost everything plus they provided optional upgraded rentals for things like chairs and linens. The food was exceptional, and we received many compliments on how great the meals tasted. We chose the family style meals which everyone enjoyed. Andrea was our coordinator and she was great, she was very friendly and answered all of my emails promptly. The only things that I felt there a lack of communication on were the tasting, and final payment. For the tasting, only the time, date, and location were communicated so I assumed only my fiance and I were expected to come. I was a little disappointed when we arrived and realized the table was set for six people and we could've brought our parents, they would've loved to have been included. Also, as I was scrambling to get things ready before the wedding I realized it was less than a week away and no one had contacted me for a final head count/payment or table layout. Nonetheless, I paid our bill in time and everything went perfectly on the day of. Neither of those hiccups affected our big day, and I really couldn't have asked for a more perfect ceremony and reception. The only other suggestion I can think of is that it would have been great if there was a bridal suite on the property to get ready at. The recommended hotel by Emerson is the Holiday Inn in Auburn, and the suite was not quite what I pictured getting ready in on my big day.

My husband and I were just married at Emerson park on October 7, 2017. It was everything we have ever dreamed of. Not only is the view breathtaking but the food and service was exceptional as well. We received numerous compliments on the food, stating how delicious it was. We worked very closely with Andrea the whole time and she was a godsent. Andrea was extremely responsive to the endless emails I sent her, asking all kinds of questions regarding our wedding to places for rehearsal dinner in Auburn (since we were not from the area). I had to change things a few times and she was super helpful and kind with all the requests made. She made everyone feel at home and everything ran so smoothly. It was perfect because of Andrea and the help of all the staff at Emerson Park. You won't regret booking here!

The venue is beautiful and the service is top notch. Andrea, the coordinator is incredible! She worked with us for over a year (all the while having a baby), answering all of our questions, and helping to plan a day that would be customized just for us. Cannot thank her enough for her guidance and how she is able to offer advice from her many years of experience, while still being completely open and excited about your own ideas. The scattered thunderstorms the day of our event didn't throw her off one bit, she had the team ready to adjust everything at a moments notice which allowed our family to enjoy the day. The other staff at the venue are wonderful as well! There was never a line at the bar and food was delicious. Love the outside portico, which was perfect for our bourbon and cigar bar. Certainly very relaxing to be right on the lake.

The only things that proved to be tricky were some mentioned their steak was a bit overdone (but all said the pork chop was delish!) and one of our busloads of guests was late to the ceremony due to traffic from a matinee at the theater. Hopefully they can work figure out a workaround in the future.

I can't say enough good words for this place! I ABSOLUTELY LOVED it! Andrea was sooooo helpful throughout the whole wedding process and really went above and beyond to make sure my vision came to life! The weather lucked out for us and we got some GORGEOUS shots outside. We had a few smaller children at the wedding. We were worried about melt downs, but thankfully the big space for outdoor seating and yard took care of that! I'll never forget seeing my family SO happy and playing frisbee outside, dancing on the dance floor, rocking in the chairs.. this place is so accommodating for every age range! Not only was the space amazing, but also the FOOD! Definitely make this place a stop if you're looking for a venue in the area :)

The venue was stunning and Andrea was amazing to work with. And she was so flexible with changing things, even right up to the few days before the wedding. She made everything easier and kept us on track in the planning process and the day of the wedding!

We just had our wedding day at Emerson Park Pavilion on September 2, 2016. I had a hunch years ago that I would be married at this venue while there for a company picnic. There was something about the simplicity of a large room with wood floors and big white windows overlooking Owasco Lake that I just couldn't get out of my head. It truly is a beautiful venue. The staff was extremely helpful from day one. I worked with Andrea from the very beginning, and then also with Maria. Both ladies are experts at their craft and asked me all the right questions when I couldn't remember everything I had to mention or complete! I can't say enough about how well they both worked with each of my vendors (my wedding dream team!). Emerson Park offers a lot of great options no matter what your budget. I was able to bring in all of my DIY decor without any issue. They include a lot of things that add up if you don't think of them (champagne toast, a superior 'house' open bar option, all the linens and napkins, cutting up the cake, etc.). They also allowed us to come in early the day prior (pending there wasn't another event), to set up the room however we'd like with our personal belongings. The staff took care of the remaining things that needed to be set up (placing favors at each seat, setting up the outdoor welcome table, any ceremony signage).
On the day of our wedding, Maria did a great job of making sure everything was running on time and flowing well. I only saw her a few times, which was a great thing because it meant less decisions to think about and just enjoy all the little moments happening around me! I can't thank her enough for all of her help and professionalism.
The food! The food is FANTASTIC. We opted to do a family style dinner, which I had not experienced at other weddings I had been to. Everyone truly enjoyed themselves :-)

Everything you could honestly ask for in a venue (& ceremony too). Between the flowers, the fountain, the lake, and all the surrounding nature while having the comfort of being indoor/outdoor the entire night, it was PERFECT. Staff was super nice & efficient. We started with Andrea as our coordinator then Maria took over while she was out for pregnancy, and it was a smooth transition with everything taken care of. It was a lot to manage/coordinate & it was SUCH a relief not having to be worrying about every single little detail the day of the wedding. I was completely stress free day of! Made me very happy to not have attempted a DIY wedding! Everyone had an AMAZING time. It's only been a week, but everyone is still talking about how perfect the whole day was. Photo options are endless and so nice not to have to go far from the venue esp during cocktail hour. Our wedding party kept our drinks full and staff made sure to come out twice to find us & bring us hors d'oeuvres. Our photographer took advantage of the venue steps, the trees, the open grass, the lake, the small beach area by the lake, and at sunset we walked across the bridge to get pictures under the weeping willow tree. The venue is a one stop shop. I 100% recommend!

I can't imagine getting married anywhere else but here! This was the first and only placed we looked at for our May 2016 wedding. When my husband and I were younger, this park was very special to us. We can't wait to bring our future children here and show them this beautiful gem of the Finger Lakes! Andrea was so professional through the whole process. She was readily available if I had questions and even let us check out some weddings beforehand to see different layouts. We had our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception here. It was so convenient for our guests to stay in the same place all evening and there was plenty of parking. They let guests park overnight as long as they are picked up in the morning. No need to hire a caterer because their food is prepared on site through their company H&J Hospitality. Everyone to this day keeps telling me how delicious all the food was. They made sure we ate first and we had our own server that helped me with my plate when we went up to the buffet. Andrea and her staff made us feel so relaxed and let us really enjoy our day with family and friends. Thanks again for everything!

Andrea and the rest of the staff at HJH Hospitality went above and beyond to make our wedding perfect. I cannot say enough about how accommodating and patient Andrea was during our planning process. I had a million questions and she was always prompt and thorough when answering. Andrea also had great suggestions for us to use that I didn’t even think of. The day of the wedding all of the staff was amazing. I could not believe how efficient they were with everything. With a large wedding of 230 guests everyone made sure to tell us how great the staff was and how tasty the food was. Again I cannot say enough.

As soon as Matt and I walked foot on the grounds of Emerson we fell in love! Then we met the sweetest person ever, our coordinator Andrea. She was amazing to work with every step of the way. The day of our wedding I was not worried about anything because her and her staff were so well organized and knew exactly what to do. Also her and our DJ, Rocko- from RD Entwrainment, worked so well together. I had lots of questions throughout the process, but Andrea was always there with an answer. The venue itself is fabulous. The lake is a great background and the fountain is beautiful with the flowers. We had the cocktail hour room and the reception hall which worked out perfectly! Not to mention that the food was to die for!!! Again, I would recommend this venue to anyone looking for an amazing, beautiful, reasonable wedding!

Emerson park was the best decision for my cocktail hour and reception! Andrea was wonderful to work with, very down to earth and very helpful. She worked with me to figure out my dream reception and the food was FABULOUS! The venue is gorgeous whether you are inside or outside. The staffs attention to detail is wonderful and I didn't have to worry about anything but enjoying my big day!

Emerson was the perfect location for our ceremony and reception. All of our guests RAVED about how beautiful it was, and said it was the BEST wedding food they have ever had!!

Emerson Park and H&J Catering were absolutely incredibly from the beginning to the end. Andrea from H&J was an invaluable asset to our wedding planning, and wedding day!

Maria was very helpful both with corresponding long distance, and with the day of the event. The food was FANTASTIC, and exceeded our expectations for a brunch style wedding. We were very happy with the way the day unfolded, and could not have asked for more.

Our coordinator, Andrea, was so great to work with through the whole planning process. She followed up almost immediately with any questions we had, offered her advice and guidance, and overall made sure that everything ran smoothly on the day of our wedding.

Not only was Andrea great, the whole staff that night was just amazing. Everyone complimented the waitstaff on their professionalism (and my waitress, Kat, spoiled us all night by refreshing our drinks and helping me with my plate....just an added plus to the level of service :) ). The food was fantastic, too!

Everything was just perfect. We are so happy that we choose Emerson Park. It was such a beautiful spot!

Emerson and Andrea in particular, made mine and my wife's wedding the absolute perfect spot. For a lakefront wedding, you can always plan for a few years ahead and blow your savings account. Andrea was able to find a date in the timeframe we were looking for and worked with our budget to fit our exact needs. She was very helpful in answering every question we had, no matter how small it was. We visited the venue once (we're from California) over thanksgiving and she was kind enought o push her personal travel plans back to meet with us and go over all the details. When the wedding cam in April she was there for us whenever we needed her with a kind, happy, smile on her face.

When it comes to planning a wedding it's very easy for the coordinator to book your business and go on their way but Andrea made us feel like it was all about us and that we had everything we wanted was the top priority until the end of the evening.

This review is long overdue. We had both our ceremony and our reception at Emerson Park. Our entire experience was incredible. We worked with Andrea and she was so wonderful! She was very easy to work with, promptly responding to all of my phone calls and emails. She listened to everything we were looking for and helped us to make our day our own.
All of the staff was great on our wedding day. They were attentive and helpful, but also stayed out of the way.
We received so many compliments about the food and the atmosphere from our guests. I would highly recommend Emerson Park and H and J Hospitality! Thank you for making our day perfect :)

All the people we worked with from Emerson Park Pavilion were extraordinary!! I was planning my wedding from CA, and Adrienne was especially helpful in accommodating phone calls at strange hours and visits from my family members on my behalf. They planned out every detail with me far in advance, and made me feel really comfortable throughout the whole process. The day of service was impeccable! All our guests raved about the food, bar service and the beautiful location. I couldn't have picked a better venue for my June wedding! (and there is air conditioning!)

We had our wedding ceremony and reception here at Emerson Park Pavilion last weekend and it was the best decision we made. First off, I like to thank our wonderful wedding coordinator Dustin who helped us through everything!! He was very timely in answering all our emails, phone calls and texts.

Emerson Park is a beautiful venue to have your wedding and I highly recommend it. Food is very good as well. Our friends and family had a awesome time and couldn't stop raving about everything. You will not regret having your wedding here. If you can get Dustin as your coordinator he was wonderful.

Our daughters wedding was wonderful! I would give this venue more than 5 stars if it allowed me to do so! Our daughter and her husband couldn't have been happier! The food was outstanding! The meat was so tender you could cut it with your fork! The service by the staff was amazing! Everything was spotless and beautiful! Andrea was so helpful with the planning of the wedding, she had to work around all of our schedules and sometimes that wasn't easy. The chef did an amazing job! My husband was so pleased that he went to see the chef in the kitchen to thank him for an outstanding job! Well done! I can not say how unbelievably great the staff was at my wedding! To say they were attentive is an understatement, I was greeted with a drink and asked if I needed anything. Throughout the evening the staff made sure me and my guests had everything we needed. The food was amazing from the appetizers to the main dish. The setting by the lake was breathtaking. Guests enjoyed relaxing on the outdoor rocking chairs looking at the fountain and lake. Dustin went way out of his way to make my day perfect! If you get married anywhere else you've made a mistake!

Emerson Park Pavilion is an exceptional venue! My husband and I couldn't be happier with the overall service that we received! Aside from the breathtaking views, and up-to-date, modern facilities - their service was wonderful! We particularly worked with Adrienne and Dustin. Throughout our year of planning, they both were available to answer questions, and help us in creating the wedding we had always dreamed of. They were very detail-oriented, and accommodated our every need! Set-up was done exactly how we asked, employees were friendly and professional, the food was excellent, and overall the wedding couldn't have gone any smoother! Emerson Park Pavilion was the perfect venue for my September 1st wedding. We couldn't have asked for better service-- the staff was with us every step of the way to help us plan our unforgettable day!

Very pleased with every category of this place. Deffinetly had the wedding of my dreams everything was fantastic!

We had a few things in mind when we were looking for a venue. First, we wanted to be on the water in a room that had nice light but still a modern, clean slate, with AC. We had looked at so many venues, ballrooms with ugly carpet, no windows and venues that had too much of a rustic feel. We thought about a tent but with the mid-summer heat were thinking AC was a must. Emerson fit our vision perfectly, met all our criteria and the high ceilings with a modern look was perfect. When we looked at the prices and spoke with the coordinator we were sold. It is a spectacular value and Andrea worked around our tastes in wines, some of our special requests with the food and even went our of her way to be sure we felt happy every step of the way. She was warm, honest and went to great lengths to help us exceed our vision from being a liaison with H&J management when we had special requests on lighting, dance floors, etc. to working perfectly along side all our vendors. Our event went off without a hitch. We were pleasantly surprised that the food we had during our tasting, was exactly the same at the wedding which was really good and several guests commented on how wonderful the food was, as well as the cocktail food. The staff went out of their way to keep a special eye on myself and the Groom and our guests raved about how nice and helpful the staff were during the event. Whether your wedding is budget, luxury, country, traditional, or modern this venue will deliver without fail. We could have not made a better choice and we are so very happy that we had the chance to work with Andrea, Emerson and H&J. This place is a true gem in the Finger Lakes and is not to be missed when venue hunting! Thanks to the Emerson team for everything and making our day so special!

My husband and I had the perfect wedding, thank you Emerson Park and especially Adrienne!! Adrienne was our point of contact and planner throughout the process. She was excellent to work with and so accommodating. I messed up the date for our tasting and Adrienne squeezed us in and the chef was even able to whip up some appetizer samples for us with no notice! They were so sweet about my mistake. Adrienne was easy to get in touch with and fun to plan with. She gave advice when asked and had very helpful suggestions. I always felt like she understood the overall vision I wanted to achieve and helped me to get there.

The day of the event Adrienne checked in with me periodically, without making me feel rushed or pressured. We had both the ceremony and reception at the Emerson Park and both were perfect, running smoothly and on time. We delivered several photos and other things that I wanted set up a certain way and they all looked great.

I was able to fully enjoy the night, without having to worry about any of the little details. I spent most of the evening on the dance floor, enjoying the night with my new husband, family and friends. All of my friends and family have raved about the night! They absolutely loved the location. I highly recommend this venue to anyone getting married in the area!

This is the perfect place to have a wedding. The setting is spectacular, we received many compliments on the beauty of it. The service was outstanding and professional. Adrienne is the best; so accommodating and helpful. SHe offered ideas and tips in a positive manner while allowing us to make the wedding unique to our style. SHe was flexible and responsive to each of our requests. The food was delicious and again we received so many compliments on the entire experience. We had the ceremony on the porch and the reception in the ballroom. It was perfect

From my first glance of Emerson Park Pavilion, I knew I wanted to get married here. The breath taking views of Owasco Lake and the iconic feature of the beautiful fountain are only a few items that met my fancy. The inside of the pavilion is newly remodeled with a gorgeous and spacey modern feel. Throughout my planning, I worked closely with their event coordinator, Andrea. She answered my emails and phone calls promptly, honestly and professionally. She helped my husband and I with designing our room layout, a bar and food menu that met our budget and managing vendor/ service deliveries. Andrea also attended our rehearsal and walked our entire bridal party and wedding officiant through the process. On my wedding day, Andrea greeted and directed my guests and made sure the service was absolutely perfect. Andrea even came to the rescue when our live entertainer forgot our first dance lyrics back at the hotel, she promptly printed a new copy and everything went forward. Any small bump in the road she had it covered!!!!!
Aside from Andrea, the sales manager, Tim was also terrific. Tim helped to ensure the proper amount of staff was in the right place at the right time and myself and my guests could not have been happier. Every single staff member was personable, polite, and attentive! All of my guests raved about how top notch the service and food was. I cannot say enough on how many times my guests stated "this is the best wedding food we've ever had." Everyone envisions their wedding day being absolutely perfect; and with the help of Andrea and the staff at Emerson Park Pavilion, mine was. This place is a true hidden gem. We held our ceremony and reception at Emerson on a Friday. The entire thing was planned (by me!) from Washington, D.C. Andrea Crowley, the Hospitality Manager, was AMAZING. Not only was incredibly patient with all of my questions, but she was very flexible in communicating with me to accomodate my hectic work schedule. Everything went PERFECTLY smoothly the day/night of our wedding--all thanks to Andrea and her staff. If a problem arose, it was immediately dealt with. Our family and friends RAVED about the staff afterward. The venue can't be beat for beauty and style--we've received so many compliments already! I wouldn't have changed anything about Emerson or Andrea. Thank you for making our wedding such a hit!

Joe's did a wonderful job at our wedding! We had a sit-down dinner and everything was presented attractively and in good time. The portions were generous and it tasted really good (for wedding food of course). I could not be happier with Joe's and with Adrienne, who pulled everything together for me and was very flexible.

Emerson Park Pavilion was the perfect site! I was very picky when it came to our venue/ceremony site and when I found Emerson Park it was everything I wanted! The rooms were spacious and very open to the front porch. I loved the big windows to look over the lake and all of our guests were blown away by how beautiful everything was! The park provided many wonderful spots for amazing pictures. Everyone at H&J Hospitality were fantastic! They were so accomadating with my husband and I. When we started to plan our wedding we lived in Virginia and it was difficult to make trips back to NY for meetings but the coordinator was so helpful with phone calls and emails to make our wedding day perfect! The staff, food and venue were more than we could have ever asked for!!!

From a building that I used to sit at to watch fireworks as a little girl to a GORGEOUS wedding venue to celebrate my marriage at, I could have asked for a better experience. Every staff member there, especially Mary and Andrea, were beyond flexible with me giving me countless options to allow my vision to come to life as I pictured it in my head. Our guests couldn't stop raving over ours appetizer selections, the dinner food (and the speed the food was served at), the fact they continued to check in on us and bring us hot plates of food when we had been outdoors taking photos, amazing, and the overall esthetic of the venue wow. Their team absolutely crushed it. I would also like to add I to work in the wedding industry in a position where I bounce to a lot of different venues and I was beyond impress with the service at Emerson Park/A&M Catering, I hope to be back some day working along side their team!! xoxo

I don't really know where to begin with my review, because, quite literally, everything was perfect. Andrea and her team are the kindest people who really went above and beyond to make sure we had a good and easy time. The food is unbelievable and was one of the many things that guests would not stop talking to me about. Even more so, the view in the summer was incredible. Everyone, including myself, was so impressed with the space and the grounds and it made for a very romantic backdrop. The price is absolutely reasonable given what you're getting for it. I would recommend it for anyone.

The wedding coordinator, Andrea, made choosing Emerson Park a no brainer. She is organized and experienced and gives you the feeling that everything will go according to plan. Emerson Park itself is a beautiful vintage building (with AC). We are not from Auburn, and really don't even live close to Auburn, but the location was too great to pass up. Our guests raved about our wedding, the venue, and the food. It was everything we had hoped for.

I am so glad we went with the Emerson Park Pavilion for our wedding! The room is gorgeous and the location can't be beat. Everyone kept telling us how beautiful it was! Great value for the money - expect to pay double almost any place else for the same fantastic quality. The only negative I can say is that the time it took to get back to me on questions I had during the planning process was sometimes too long for my liking which can be stressful. They are a popular location for all kinds of events, so it is to be expected that they are quite busy at times. Overall I would highly recommend the pavilion for your wedding!

My husband and I searched for months for a reception site that was on the lake and within our price range. Let me first preface this review with saying that our wedding was amazing. Our reception turned out to be everything we hoped it would be, and the food was incredible ( our guests are still talking about it)!!! The catering and bar staff for H &J were over the top professional and I owe a huge thank you to them for making our wedding so much fun. The bar staff was amazingly friendly and funny and memorized most of the VIP’s drinks. There are a few things however that I would like to point out that I was disappointed in. For most of our wedding planning we dealt with Adrianne. I have no complaints about Adrianne she always responded to my e-mails in a timely manner and worked around our schedule for meetings. However, a month before our wedding we were told that Adrianne had another event off site and that she would not be there the day of our wedding but another coordinator Tim would be. We were supposed to meet with Tim the day before the wedding to drop off out center pieces, and go over any final details but he did not show. Luckily for us there was someone there that could let us in. From that point on I heard about a dozen times that they were sorry but they had another much larger event off site that they were dealing with. You can imagine that this is the last thing that we wanted to hear the day before our wedding, that another wedding was taking priority. The day of the wedding was amazing but I was disappointed that they ran out of beer at our cocktail hour but that was a pretty easy fix. The last complaint I have is related to how our reception was managed. We were told by Tim that he would coordinate when the speeches and cake cutting would take place, this did not happen and it was left to our families and the band. All in all out wedding was amazing thanks to our band, families, friends and the catering staff at H & J.

When Alex and I got engaged there were a few things we knew we would want in a venue. We were planning a ceremony and reception at the same place and being on the water was a must. We just happened to be driving by Emerson Park and it immediately caught our eye. The site is beautiful. Right on the water and plenty of trees and flowers. The building with all the windows and porches made it even better. We were able to stop and speak with the director of sales, Adrienne. She was very welcoming and very helpful. We decided to book with H&J Hospitality and everything went very smooth. We made a few trips out to the park for tastings and to make all of our selections. Everyone was very easy to work with and made the whole wedding planning process easy for us. The day of the wedding went perfectly and the food and wait staff were amazing!!

Emerson Park was WONDERFUL for both our Ceremony and Reception! The building itself and its park location cannot be beat... The renovations completed in June of 2012 did a lot to add beauty to an already beautiful spot. The food came out EXACTLY on time and tasted a little better than your typical wedding food. Andrea did a wonderful job coordinating times for both the ceremony and reception. It is obvious that she has had a lot of experience dealing with brides and their needs. She also helped us pick out a place for the rehearsal dinner (delicious) and someone for uplighting who was also great.

I would like to point out that the $$ to reserve Emerson Park has increased since the renovations. The cost to reserve one side of Emerson Park is now $1500, which means that if you are getting married on a desired weekend there is the chance that another wedding will be going on at the same time as yours. With that being said, the staff was FABULOUS and would have no problem accommodating two brides on one day.

Overall I am VERY happy with our experience with H&J Hospitality, Andrea Crowley and Emerson Park. My Husband and I are from Syracuse, and many of our friends could not believe they had never head of such a gem :)

I got married in Emerson Park in July 2011. It was a beautiful, sunny and 95 degree day! The building stayed pretty cool as there are fans and the windows open but I would suggest fans if you are choosing a HOT day! The lady I spoke to whenever I called was very well informed and able to answer all of my questions, at times she was hard to get a hold of though, very limited office hours. Not much decorating is required for the building as it is so beautiful already! I heard nothing but good things about our wedding afterwards and a few of my friends said that when they get married, they want their wedding there as well!!!

I first found this venue on Wedding Wire. I absolutely loved how it looked in pictures, but nothing compares to when you see it in person. There is a beautiful fountain, a bridge and walkway by the lake. I knew we would get some amazing photos. The interior is beautiful with wooden floors, white walls and windows everywhere. I had the pleasure of working with Andrea. She was very helpful throughout the entire process. She helped us find an available date, went over pricing options and set up a tasting. After rehearsal I had no worries knowing things would run smoothly on my wedding day. The food was phenomenal! I got so many compliments from everyone! My only complaint is that I didn't get to finish eating my plate! *I highly recommend this venue.

We had such an amazing night. The event planner was very helpful and organized. The servers and bartenders were amazing. All were helpful, attentive, and courteous. Guests are still raving about the food. Everyone had such a great time, we would highly recommend H&J to anyone looking for great value and excellent service.

The food was excellent, great quality for the price! The servers were very professional and catered to the bride and groom. The coordinator was not at all pushy and offered valuable advice. The event went very smoothly, no hitches.

They are renovating everything at the Ballroom/Pavillion building there so everything will be different for the year 2012! I am just soooo thankful we got our wedding in this year so we could have free rein of the building and everything! it was the absolute perfect day!

The staff at Emerson Park Pavilion were very professional and wonderful to work with! Adrienne responded quickly and carefully to all of my emails and questions, and I felt completely comfortable that everything would be taken care of and happen as planned. The venue was beautifully set up, and the food was delicious! All in all, it was a great experience!

Andrea was extremely professional and very helpful from the planning start to the end of the reception. The service and the food was outstanding.
Many guests said how quickly the staff waited on them and how helpful they were.

It's a beautiful site, but it is pricey and you need to know at least 2 years in advance if you want to have a summer wedding. They provide tables and chairs, but you might want chair covers. The kitchen is huge. We really enjoyed having our wedding there.

I feel my rating isn't entirely accurate - the place is fantastic and wonderful. The office staff is miserable.

We looked high and low for a wedding venue we liked and could afford. At $600 for the entire day, this place fit the bill. It's a beautiful park and a beautiful building if you don't mind a little chipping paint. It's certainly not high luxury, but it's very charming.

We used only the dining room side. We had 78 guests and it was nice and roomy. That side is nicer looking in my opinion - the ballroom side has concrete floors and a weird lattice ceiling. We had our ceremony on the steps by the fountain, which was lovely.

It was very nice that they had plenty of tables and chairs - one less thing to worry about.

With everyone dancing the place did get a bit warm, but we opened the windows and it was fine.

Now, the staff. The staff we met there while we were setting up were great! The man originally showed us the place was also great. The first person I was corresponding with in the office was at least passable - answered my questions and was nice enough. The new woman - Charlene - is just awful. She's not kind or knowledgeable, she doesn't return calls, she doesn't respond fully to emails. I was very sick of trying to deal with her!
