Our wedding journey from start to finish was made so much more enjoyable because we made the choice to go with Emerald Ridge! We are all so happy with the results. It felt like we were in capable, experienced hands from the beginning. Their all inclusive price passages simplified things so much! That was a deciding factor. Then they guided us through the many other decisions that have to be made. Professional presence was in all their employees. I was pleasantly surprised. Owners, Paul, Janice and Mason are tops. Highly recommend!

My husband and I loved having our wedding at Emerald Ridge! The staff was amazing throughout our wedding planning experience and on the day of our wedding. Everything was beautiful!! Malorie was our wedding planner and we loved having her. She was very responsive, attentive to detail, and easy to talk with. We also really enjoyed the "No Rush" package. We did our rehearsal at the venue and the bridesmaids stayed in the house on the property all weekend. We would highly recommend Emerald Ridge!

The team at Emerald Ridge Farm (ERF) was absolutely awesome throughout contracting, planning, and execution of our wedding. We were looking for a relaxed, intimate setting for our wedding and the No Rush Weekend at ERF checked all the boxes for us. The accommodations at the venue were perfectly homey for the weekend and we felt confident, regardless of weather conditions, the venue had great options for all scenarios for our wedding.

The venue provides many different features to allow a variety of ceremony, cocktail hours, reception, and photography options that we were able to set up exactly as we desired for our wedding size. Our initial wedding guest count was expected to be 70 but we dropped down to about 35. We had lots of open space (which worked well for our design/vision) but it still felt very cozy with the setup job the team did.

The team provided exceptional service in finalizing decor/arrangements on the days leading up to our wedding as well as to our guests throughout our entire celebration. We really felt like we were treated as family by the team which made the whole weekend all the more special.

We also loved that it was highly accessible to Downtown Weaverville and Asheville for our guests to have options of where to stay on their visit to the Blue Ridge Mountains.

If you're looking for a relaxed, intimate setting, ERF belongs at the top of your list. The landscapes and vistas are gorgeous throughout the day and into the evening. Our guests couldn't stop asking "where'd you find this place?" and the team fully delivered!

Our wedding at Emerald Ridge Farm was absolutely lovely! From the very first tour to post-wedding cleanup, the entire experience was wonderful.

The venue is absolutely gorgeous and we got so many compliments! There are beautiful flowers, spectacular mountain views , and COWS! Their package is truly all inclusive (including decor) and there are multiple areas to utilize — the barn, tent, tree, the deck. Plus, the location is awesome. It’s so close to downtown Asheville! And our guests enjoyed staying at nearby Airbnb’s.

They have great add-ons like coordination and setup/cleanup. Malorie (our coordinator) was an absolute delight to work with and we don’t know what we would have done without her. She made our vision come to life! The owners and staff were awesome and attentive as well.

We will spend a lifetime looking back on our special day and will always have the fondest memories of Emerald Ridge Farm!

When my husband and I first selected this venue it was the kindness, helpfulness, and professionalism shown by Janice and her team that sold us on this venue. Over the course of a year of planning, Janice was extremely helpful, timely, and proficient with answering all of my questions and guiding me through the process. The service provided was what I believe all brides are hoping to have them on their wedding day. I was treated like an actual princess. Never once did I have to worry or stress and I attribute that almost entirely to the quality service provided by the venue staff. From the moment we arrived on site, each staff member so was happy, sweet, and helpful that many of my family, bridal party, and guests couldn’t help but talk about it for days after. This venue is PHENOMENAL.

I cannot recommend this venue enough! I was totally blown aware at the care they put into each aspect of the planning and the day of. I am so happy we did the no-rush weekend, which is perfectly named. We never felt rushed and it was so wonderful to have the house to be based out of for the weekend. All of the china and decorations they have are gorgeous and the venue itself is stunning. They think of everything and take so much off your plate, each step of the way. It is evident the owners and staff at Emerald Ridge care deeply about each wedding they have there. Our day was absolutely perfect!!

The venue is on a gorgeous farm with amazing Mountain View’s and a wonderful barn to hold the reception.
Set up went easy and smooth, providing us with tables, table cloths, all silverware, dining plates, chargers, speakers, vases and so much more.
Staff was there and ready to help us unload our car and get things set up. This made everything easy and stress free as we prepared for guest.
We got eloped and held a reception to celebrate with family and friends at the barn. Everyone kept mentioning how gorgeous the barn and views were.
Janice and her family were wonderful and so great to work with. I HIGHLY recommend booking emerald ridge farm for your wedding or other events!

Where do I start?! The venue itself was spectacular, beautiful views, amazing space and Janice, Paul and Mason went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. They helped us set up, checked in on us periodically without smothering us and made us feel like family. The weather didn’t exactly cooperate with us but they made the experience for us and our guests wonderful regardless. They brought out heaters and still made the time we had memorable. Sure everything went as smoothly as possible. We were sad when we had to leave as we felt they were like family by the time of our departure. They took all precautions to make sure we and our guests were safe and comfortable as well as going above and beyond all expectations. We checked out several venues before this one but as soon as we met Janice, we knew we had found the perfect spot. She really made us feel number one and made sure our visions and dreams came alive. I highly recommend this spot and these people for your special day or any event really. We also chose the weekend package and the house we stayed in was beautiful, well kept and comfortable. You won’t regret going with Emerald Ridge! We want to Have another event just so we can come back!

This venue is gorgeous! You truly feel like you are deep in the mountains while still only being a short drive to downtown Asheville. The transition from ceremony to reception was so smooth and a golf cart was available to transport guests from one site to another. Mason made himself available throughout the night and was so helpful and professional. Overall a really great venue!

I cannot rave enough about this place.
I got married in November 2021, but planned my wedding in only about 6-7 months, and from Raleigh.
First, the people. From the very beginning, Malorie and Janice were super responsive, kind, and the easiest people to work with. On the virtual tour, Janice took her phone and did a full walk through of the venue while Malorie talked through all of the details and potential. It was so easy to envision our day there, even though we hadn’t even seen it! Malorie was a rockstar logistically and helped everything go so smoothly. Her and Janice had recommendations for everything - from vendors to decor, and it made my job waaaay less stressful.

Second; the venue itself. BEYOND stunning, pictures really don’t even capture it. I loved being able to wake up there and have coffee while watching the sunrise over the mountains. It was amazing. And having the rehearsal there as well made everything so easy.

Everyone is still talking about our wedding and how it was the best they’ve ever been to, largely because of the venue itself! I could talk about it all day, but just do yourself a favor and BOOK IT! I’ll forever be grateful that this is where I married the love of my life!

got married at Emerald Ridge in September 2021; my husband and I had the most magical day thanks to ERF team. We had so many compliments on the venue and the decorations. The scenic views are hands down the best in Asheville area. They had so much available that we didn’t have to use a rental company, which eased some of the stress of planning. The renovated barn was the perfect space for our reception. Malorie, the wedding day coordinator, was phenomenal. She had great ideas for details and brought all of my ideas and dreams to life. The whole team made sure the whole weekend went smoothly. I am so thankful to ERF for creating the most perfect weekend.

This venue was beautiful and exactly what I was hoping for. I'm definitely not a "wants to get married in a barn" kind of girl, but was instead looking for a great outdoor view of the mountains. This was the place had the best view that I foundin the area that would also fit my wedding party of potentially varying size. The barn was lovely with white sheers draped and gave it a very elegant feeling. Views aside, what really made this a great place for a wedding were Janice and Paul. They really went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us. They were kind and super helpful and welcomed us like family. I can't overstate just how lovely they were to us the entire time. Shout out to Stoli the delightful horse for making my white dress on a white horse dreams come true, especially when you consider how patient he was with my English riding skills on a western horse.

Our experience with Emerald Ridge was seamless & the setting is so beautiful. They have so much to offer at no additional cost (dining ware, decor, tables/chairs, and more!) which made planning so much easier.

I got married at Emerald Ridge in October 2021 and my husband and I couldn’t have been happier with the whole experience. Many guests also commented on how wonderful the venue is. The highlights of ER are the people, the location (natural beauty as well as proximity to AVL), and the incredible amount of added value with not having to use a party rental company. The owners Janice, Mason and Paul are friendly and communicative, as well as being attentive venue hosts the day of making sure all the furniture and other features were where we planned. They ensured the grounds looked great as well. Not having to rent ceremony or reception furniture, party lights, or any dishes or table linens, dance floor, propane heaters, covered tent ceremony backup location already setup, and more, saved on cost as well as logistics. The vintage plates are a beautiful touch as well, pieces of functional decor. We also borrowed vintage decor and furniture such as a beautiful wooden sweetheart table and card/gift and catering tables. The renovated barn is perfect for your reception, being covered but outdoor, guests enjoyed the space and the views (and the swings and fire pit!). Malorie, the planning professional affiliated with the venue is who you want on your team so be sure to book with her. She is thorough, patient, tactful, creative, organized, and a clear direct communicator. Having Malorie as my coordinator significantly reduced stress levels as she helped me navigate all the details large and small that I didn’t consider or had underestimated. She has a talent for event planning, making your priorities for the day her own, and high level of professionalism. On the day of the wedding I was able to enjoy myself worry-free as Malorie seamlessly facilitated the event according to the timeline she helped me create. Thank you to the Emerald Ridge team!!

Emerald Ridge Farm is the most beautiful place - from the views to the family owners. Janice, Paul and Mason were wonderful and very kind, responsive and full of positive joy in every moment. The guests kept saying it was the most gorgeous venue they have been to and its true!
We had the weekend package and it was perfect to be able to stay in one spot from arrival, rehearsal/dinner, getting ready on the big day and a 'late' checkout.
I highly recommend Emerald Ridge Farm - you will have the wedding of a lifetime.

Perfect combo of nature with modern amenities. Classy space overlooking the mountains of Western North Carolina, with everything you would need to be comfortable will combined with views for miles. Luxurious only begins to describe it.

So...I was a guest at a wedding here not too long ago. I have to say, that I am blown away by Emerald Ridge Farm. This venue and their staff are incredible. Here is why: I was a part of the wedding party where the couple was...particular. The venue made clear that they help set up all the "heavy stuff" (chairs, tables, big decor) and do not do small things like flowers, placement setting, etc (which is usually where a planner or coordinator comes in. Pretty Standard). The Groom dropped the ball for his soon to be bride, because instead of him decorating for the rehearsal dinner (like he promised to his bride) he instead hung out with his friends and was extremely "hydrated" by the time the rehearsal came around. Despite this, the venue and their staff saved they day, and decorated for him, DESPITE the fact that they weren't suppose to do that.

Already, most other venues that I have been to in the past do not help nearly that much, much less having people that capable being onsite (other venues I have been to, when I ask them where something is, have said "I dont know"). Not convinced yet? Well they next day, the couple also forgot to mention an additional 30 EXTRA PEOPLE that were coming for the ceremony and reception dinner. In a flash, the venue and their staff got out extra chairs and tables for their guests. I have never seen staff members literally sprinting to try and provide that good of a service.

Point is, besides lack of planning from their clients, this venue went ABOVE & BEYOND what they were suppose to do. I never write reviews for anywhere, however, this was the first time I have been at awe in terms of the supreme quality of service, thinking ahead, planning, and responsiveness of a business. I can say without a doubt, that ERF is one of, if not the best, wedding venue in the Asheville area in all the categories I just spoke of. Do yourself a favor, make your life easy, and book here. Would rate 10 out of 10 Stars if possible

I had my wedding here in June 2021 and it was perfect! The location was beautiful and the proprietors were so kind and helpful in making it everything we hoped.

This venue was FABULOUS! I don’t think you can do better for a wedding under 200 people if you want an outdoor ceremony with barn reception. They even have a great plan for an outdoor ceremony with great views in inclement weather that we fortunately didn’t have to use. Janice, Paul and Mason are excellent to work with throughout the planning stage and execution. Views are stunning at the ceremony site, cocktail area and reception area. So many extras included. Very reasonable cost, especially considering the option to stay at the farmhouse (which was great!). Military friendly (discount), wonderful staff, I could go on and on. Most venues will nickel and dime you for things you’ll get here free (tables, chairs, vintage china, outdoor games, fire pits ready to go, swings, hammocks, lots of decor, golf cart transportation for guests). So pleased we had my daughter’s wedding here 7/4/21. I don’t think we could have done better and it was the best wedding I’ve ever attended!

This place is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. We did our vow renewal/wedding reception here. The views are breath taking and the staff was professional, friendly, and extremely accommodating. We couldn’t be happier with this choice of venue.

ERF had a great location, and wonderful staff. A truly cool and flexible space, with so much included that other venues charged extra for. Refreshing in such an industry where up-charging and hidden fees are the norm. 5/5!!!!

I was a guest for a wedding in the past here. I love, love, LOVEEEE the open aired barn. The ridges of the mountains were always present in the background. Also, my mom, who is older, needed to be helped a few times that day, and the workers were always there and were so nice and accommodating. 5 stars, would recommend 1000 times over. A true view into North Carolina and some of the best the state and people have to offer

I was a guest at this venue, but I would live here if I could!!! The mountains all around are unreal. Love the look/feel of this place, with a modern rustic/boho chic vibe. Literally can't beat the view, 10/10!!!!

The location is amazing, the views are to die for. We knew we were in good hands with the staff. Janice, Paul, and Mason were always there, and constantly checking on if we needed anything. We didn't have to lift a finger. Was stress free, would do it again in a heart beat

Love the value this place provides. It's nearly all inclusive package for such a better value than some of the other venues initially toured. That combined with the closeness to downtown and the views, can not be beat. Absolutely spectacular, would recommend to everyone

Excellent Space, Beautiful Views, absolutely amazing

All the other venues in the Asheville area are a joke, except for this place. We went to a wedding here, and the value they provide is insane. They throw in so much stuff FOR FREE that other places charge extra for. I don't want to worry about chairs, or tents, or anything else the day of, and they had us covered. All these extras too for wayyy less than any other place around. The closest place was a all inclusive venue, and they wanted $25,000 grand. ARE YOU CRAZY?! They better include a vaca to the Bahamas with that money. This place pretty much provided all that stuff the expensive venue did, all for $5,000. Save your time, save your headaches, and save your money. JUST GO TO EMERALD RIDGE FARM

While planning a wedding was one of the most exciting things my husband and I have done together, it was also overwhelmingly emotional. Knowing that we’d only get to experience the day once, we wanted it to be just right - a reflection of us and our relationship, with as little planning stress as possible. After multiple tours and venue searches, we feel incredibly lucky to have found Emerald Ridge Farm. Aside from the love between us and the family beside us, the team at Emerald Ridge was the next most influential factor in ensuring that our wedding weekend was everything we hoped it would be.


Our priorities in selecting a venue were: finding a place we could enjoy for more than just one day, working with an involved and supportive staff, and being able to highlight the beauty of our home in North Carolina for our out-of-state guests. Emerald Ridge Farm had all of these qualities and more. They far exceeded our expectations in their planning and preparations for our special day. We know they were in the midst of caring and planning for other couples, but they made us feel like we were the only wedding on their minds. Their attention to detail, problem-solving, and positivity provided us with the sense of calm we craved throughout wedding planning, especially in 2020.


On-site housing allowed us to have more precious time with our loved ones who were visiting. Multiple sites for our ceremony and reception (field, patio, deck, barn) allowed us to have stress-free back-up plans, which we were so grateful for when it poured rain the night and day leading up to our wedding. Shuttling from the parking area by the barn to the house for our rehearsal dinner and our ceremony was invaluable for our guests with mobility challenges, and due to uncertain weather conditions.


The Emerald Ridge team was so present and attentive throughout the weekend that our guests and vendors are still commenting on their support, weeks after the wedding. While my husband and I were busy enjoying the reception, Paul noticed two of our seven-year-old guests were getting antsy waiting for cake-cutting. He offered to get them set up playing cornhole while they waited. During the planning stages, Janice was available by phone and in-person visit to problem-solve the newest pandemic-related change of plans. She met with our vendors in advance of the wedding to ensure seamless service on our wedding day. During the reception, she was able to snap photos of some of our more candid moments, for which we will be forever grateful. Throughout the planning process and weekend setup, Mason patiently ensured that we had everything we needed and frequently checked-in to make sure we were happy with how everything was going. As I am someone who likes to play an active role in planning, I was so grateful for his patience in allowing me to try out different seating and decor arrangements, move things around, and take my time to make a decision.


In addition to maintaining a beautiful physical space, Janice, Paul, and Mason have perfectly curated an environment in which we were able to make beautiful, lasting memories. Wedding planning during a pandemic brought with it more challenges than anticipated, but the Emerald Ridge team worked diligently to ensure that every question had an answer and that every problem had a solution. While the Asheville area boasts many choices for venues with beautiful scenery, we are convinced there are none which can provide such a beautiful experience as Emerald Ridge Farm.

Our daughter canceled her Aug 29 wedding of 350 people in Mi hogan after her fiancée leave was denied due to Covid.
Janice at Emerald Ridge Farm helped us plan a magical day for Averi and Shane. From catering, hair, cake to pick your own flowers the crew helped make it perfect.
The venue is affordable and breathtaking! I would highly recommend.

Janice was such a dream to work with. Our wedding/elopement was planned in under a week, and Janice helped us arrange a caterer, flowers and our decorations. The scenery was breathtaking creating some amazing photos. We had a stress free wedding day and everything was perfect. I cannot recommend this place enough!

We decided to check out this charming mountain house to preview it for our wedding weekend. Little did we know the mountains of the Carolina’s are magical! We stayed 2 nights to really get a feel for the venue. Firstly, the grounds are very well kept. We were expecting a normal mountain house, but the property was so well groomed. It looked beautiful next to the pastures. The views from the deck and front patio were unparalleled. If you like a quiet, charming get away, this is the perfect place for the outdoorsy lovers. We bought 2 hours of firewood (but I would recommend maybe doubling that!) the fun never seemed to stop by the bonfire. We could see so many stars in the night sky. Plus, Asheville is an updating city with a lot of food options. We have a private caterer, but we had a few things in town while we stayed. And where do I even begin on the China options??? If you’re a fan of fine china, these vendors have so many different sets. We found the perfect combination to go with our flowers and colors. So excited!
