Amy is my go to for special occasions, vacations and whenever I need a little confidence pick me up. A recovering tanning bed user that had to convert to spray tanning after my own skin cancer. I've tried many spray tans and this is the best!

Perfect in photos

I had a fantastic experience with my bridal tan! It came out looking very natural and looked perfect in photos. Amy was great at explaining the process and asking questions to make sure I ended up happy with it. Highly recommend!

Fantastic Experience

I was very happy with my bridal tan. It came out looking natural and looks perfect in my wedding photos. The studio is clean and comfortable, and Amy is great to work with. She asked good questions about how I wanted to look on my wedding day and in photos to make sure I would be happy with the result. Very good experience!

The owner of Emberglow, Amy, does an absolutely amazing job. I just went there recently to do a trial spray tan for a wedding I am in. She was so sweet and professional. She made it fun and not awkward at all. The tan itself looked beautiful. I received LOTS of compliments (nobody believe it was a spray tan). She even followed up with me a couple days later to see how I liked my spray tan and if we need to adjust anything for next spray! I can’t wait to go back for my second appointment. I will be recommending Emberglow to all of my friends and family with tanning needs!

Natural glow

Wedding 8:27

I got married in August 2022 and I have always been nervous about spray tans looking splotchy or too dark. I did a trial for my bridal shower and then did another tan for my wedding day and it could not have been more perfect! The staff made me feel so comfortable and listened to my concerns, making sure the color would be great. My tan lasted a whole week before it started to rub off and I felt amazing on my wedding day! Thank you so much!

Perfect Glow

This was my first experience with spray tans, and I loved the results! Amy did such a good job making the tan look very natural. I booked the bridal package and the trial and wedding day both looked amazing. I also felt very comfortable being there and appreciated the bridal kit gift to extend the life of the spray tan.

Such a Wonderful Experience

I got a spray tan at Emberglow for my wedding. I decided to do a trial a few weeks before. Amy asked me questions about my dress, how our photographer edits photos, venue lighting, etc. She was so thorough. She listened to everything I said, and my tan turned out beautifully! I have very fair skin, and my tan looked so natural. Amy followed up with me the week after to make sure everything turned out the way I wanted it to for both the trial and my wedding tan. I loved working with her and will definitely go back to her for all of my spray tans!

Absolutely amazing!!!

Amy is so so so talented! She did an amazing job. I chose the bridal package, which included two spray tans and a kit to help your tan last longer. I am originally from Miami and have lived in the Midwest for many years now. I had never had a spray tan before so I was a bit nervous about how it would look. Amy took the time to explain the process and ways to help my tan last. For my wedding I wanted to have myMiami-glow again, but not over do it. Amy knew exactly what I was going for and did an amazing job. My tan came out so beautiful and had me feeling so confident on my wedding day. I would highly recommend Emberglow Custom Spray Tanning!! Great experience!

Absolutely love! The custom color turned out exactly the way I wanted. I asked for a pretty toasty tan and she delivered without making it look unnatural or orangey/bronzy. I was fairly pale but the tan looked like my natural skin color in the beginning of summers. The tan application was even and stuck. Definitely a repeat customer!

Amazing!! Amy is the one to trust, my fellow brides..

Amy is amazing. She is a true professional and such a nice person.

I had never had a professional spray tan before, and was so nervous about looking orange or spotty (like I have from spray tans done by a machine). I was also anxious about after care because I had a photoshoot (see picture below) and I wanted to make sure I didn't ruin it.

Amy walked me through everything (literally, everything). She made me comfortable throughout the whole process, which can be overwhelming (especially, if it is your first time getting a spray tan).

She explained every detail and made sure to ask if I had questions. She shared her phone number with me so I could text her if needed (which is so helpful if you are a busy young professional like me or a mom that doesn't always have her phone in her hand).

If you are a bride getting ready for your big day, or need to even out a beach tan, or just want to feel extra confident in your everyday life, a spray tan by Amy will do the trick.

I will never go anywhere else.

This was my first experience spray tanning and I don't think it could have gone any better. My tan looked absolutely amazing, I received SO MANY compliments! Amy was so great to work with and she really took the time to understand what I was looking for and understanding my skin tone to ensure the spray tan looked natural. I have been to Amy a few times over the years when I have needed a custom spray tan. I have fair skin so getting a spray tan that still looked natural was very important to me. Ever since the first time I worked with Amy, I knew I would not go anywhere else for a spray tan. She has been amazing every single time. I knew that for my wedding, I would be using her services again and she did not disappoint. I had a natural glow and felt absolutely beautiful. Not only did I feel great, but I received so many compliments! Her bridal package was also ideal. I used my "trial" before my bachelorette party and then my final before the big day. If you are in need of a spray tan, book her right away!

I have had custom spray tans in the past but Amy is by far the best! She’s very personable and does a great job helping a pale red head a very natural looking tan! My maid of honor also received a tan from Amy as well! Both of us looking sun kissed in the middle of November!

The spray tan artist I originally booked for my wedding canceled for a personal vacation, but it worked out for the best because then I found Amy with Embarglow. Amy is incredible. Her online booking process is easy to use to make an appointment and the location was easily accessible. Amy made the process comfortable; something that's not easy when standing naked in front of a stranger. She took what I wanted and concerns into consideration, and I was impressed with how natural the final outcome looked. She uses a quality product and it shows. She was always prompt and professional, and even followed up after each spray tan to ensure I was satisfied. I will use Amy again for my spray tans!

Amy did a beautiful job on my spray tan that I wanted for a bachelorette party weekend. I told her I wanted a very natural looking tan because naturally I have pretty fair skin. This was my first spray tanning session and I couldn't have asked for a better experience! Amy made me feel very comfortable and took the awkwardness out of the situation. Looking back on my wedding photos my tan looks very natural and even and I am a freckled fair skinned strawberry blonde so this was a concern for me. I highly recommend Amy for your spray tan! You won't be disappointed.

I've had many spray tans in the past, but Emberglow definitely was the best I had by far! What I liked best was the consultation in the beginning where Amy helped me choose a color. Definitely professional and a quality spray tan for little money! Will definitely be going back for my next big event!

I just can't say enough good things about Amy at Emberglow! She helped me feel beautiful for my wedding day. This review is long over due. Amy is my go-to person for all my spray tans for any event. She is extremely professional and great to work with. I've started using the Quick One and I love the ability to shower two hours after my spray tan. The color looks great and natural. I'd recommend her to anyone!

Amy was very professional and is so friendly !! The color from the spray tan didn't get on my dress, it looked even and beautiful for days after, and didn't leave that orange color ! She made me feel comfortable, and her venue is very clean and she worked with my schedule !

Amy was amazing and my emberglow experience was too. My spray tan was perfect and it lasted as long as she said it would. There were no splotches or streaks and no missed areas.

I absolutely love emberglow! If you are looking for an affordable top of the line service you won't find it anywhere else but with emberglow. Emberglow has numerous services to offer! Amy has such a strong attention to detail, my spray tans come out perfect every time! She is the sweetest and will get you looking beautiful for your next event! And she is flexible with your schedule which is what I love since I work, go to school, and am a mother. I have had other spray tan services in the Des Moines area but nothing compares to Emberglow. You will definitely love it!

Amy was fantastic to work with for my wedding and helped me pick the best spray tan option that worked with my dress (and got rid of my terrible tan lines!). The overall result was completely natural with a perfect glow that lasted for a week! I would definitely recommend her for anyone wanting to get an awesome customized spray tan!

Natural Looking Spray Tan!!

I have gone to Amy for three different occasions, and she has continually met my expectations. I used her for my wedding, vacations, and corporate events. She made me feel comfortable while giving me the look I desired. She made it clear on what to expect, maintenance, and the tanning process. There is no one else I trust for a spray tan!

I have a porcelain skin tone and the tan I wanted was just tan enough to cover up tan lines for homecoming. Amy did a wonderful job in getting the perfect spray tan for me! The overall experience was just amazing!

I loved how natural the spray tan felt. I didn't have any orange on my palms or elbows like you would get with normal spray tans. If I did it again, I would probably go a shade darker since it did feel and look so natural. Amy was very friendly and made me feel comfortable!

Amy does an amazing job at Emberglow Custom Spray Tanning. I was very pleased with the color of my spray tan. I wanted it to look like a natural glow, and it did! Amy made me feel completely comfortable throughout the entire application process. She explained each step thoroughly as she worked to perfect my tan. I felt that she was also very efficient in the process, it was not a long appointment and afterwards my skin looked fabulous! I would highly recommend Amy to anyone needing a tan glow. I am using Amy again for my wedding coming up shortly!

Amy was very professional! I felt at ease wearing practically nothing in front of her during the spray tan. The tan was beautiful and lasted past the wedding. It did take a bit of maintenance to keep it looking good with lotions, spot re-treatments, and special bathing requirements but nothing that isn't typical for a spray tan! It is a bit spendy but well worth the price!!

Having a spray tan completed before my wedding was one of the best decisions I made. I followed the detailed instructions provided, and ended up with an amazing tan. Amy never made me feel like a customer. Instead, she treated me like a friend. For a nervous bride, this is priceless!
