We loved having our wedding at Embassy Suites! The reception, cocktail, and ceremony space were all we could hope for! Lindsay was helpful throughout the entire process with any questions we had! It was great being able to stay at the hotel, as well as have our wedding there. The entire staff was very helpful the entire weekend. The weekend of our wedding there was a tropical storm, but there was a plan B in case anything happened. The weather cleared up Saturday and was beautiful. We had our ceremony outside, our first touch on the roof, and a beautiful reception inside. The food was also AMAZING. Thank you Embassy Suites!!! -

The best day! We had our wedding ceremony outside and had the reception inside. There is also a dock right in front of the hotel and we did a boat send off. Meredith and her team did a fabulous job! She was also quick to respond to my questions during the planning process and ensured everything ran smoothly. They were very accommodating to us and our out of town guests. Baker/smiley rehearsal dinner
It was a wonderful experience planning our sons rehearsal dinner. We live out of town and Meredith and her team were so helpful. The room was so lovely overlooking the River, large space to comfortably accommodate our guests. The staff were not only professional but so friendly! The food was perfection! We had only rave reviews from our family and friends! Highly recommend!Embassy Suites by Hilton Wilmington Riverfront's reply:

If you have a lot of guests coming from out of town, the Embassy Suites is a great place to have your wedding. My guests all had a wonderful time. We planned on an all indoor wedding because weather in October in NC can be extremely unpredictable during hurricane season. They sectioned off the first two partitions of the ballroom for our ceremony and then flipped the room during cocktail hour. I had my June 2021 rehearsal dinner, wedding and reception at Embassy Suites Wilmington Riverfront. I had wanted to get married outside on the lawn but it rained so we moved into the main ballroom where we planned on having our reception. Looking back I’m so happy we had it inside so that everyone could hear our vows and it was more comfortable that sitting in the unshaded lawn for my grandma and other guests in attendance. Jenna Nix was my point of contact and very helpful during the planning process and helped everything run smoothly on the day of. We are from out of town and held every event for our wedding weekend here and it was so convenient for guests to not have to travel to multiple sites. The bridal suite was a huge plus as it held myself, 7 bridesmaids, 2 flower girls, my mom, mother in law and my grandma along with 2 hair and makeup professionals. The food at Steam for the rehearsal dinner and the buffet at the reception was so delicious. We even got to visit some more with our guests for Sunday brunch before we left for our honeymoon. I highly recommend this venue for your wedding weekend in Wilmington! -

Our wedding could not have gone any better!! Our guests were wowed by the venues riverfront backdrop and its tasteful decoration. The staff was beyond accommodating from the planning stage to the wedding day, and always had time for us. The sales and banquet team made immediate and constant contact with us and our vendors to ensure everything went perfectly. The timeline of events, (ceremony, pictures, first dance, cake cutting, etc.) were all done expediantly but we never felt rushed. The food was AMAZING!! The staff certainly has a lot of experience and it felt like they were part of the family, not just there to do a job. This was an event that those who attended will never forget. THANK YOU!! -

My wedding reception was perfect! They were patient with my husband and I no matter what questions or strange requests we threw at them. I would highly recommend the embassy if anyone wants to have an event there! Everyone was so kind and patient with us!! -

Embassy Suites by Hilton Wilmington Riverfront team, Laiken McManigal, Jenna Nix, Katherine Washburn and the entire staff were phenomenal.
The number one reason we selected the Embassy Suites Wilmington River Front was because of the incredible sales team, after the initial tour we knew then that they were the team to work with. They exceeded all of our expectations, their staff was very helpful to all our guests, they accommodated every last minute request, and went above and beyond to ensure our guests experienced NC southern hospitality. The hotel location is right in the middle of downtown Wilmington, next to restaurants, the boardwalk, local shops, private and public parking, and a beautiful view of the Cape Fear River.
Our guests conveyed the satisfaction for the hotel service, breakfast, cocktail hour, complementary services and prompt responses to every need.
My family and I would like to extend our most sincere gratitude to Jenna Nix, we worked very closely with her, she is the person we contacted the most and she always had a plan and a solution to everything. I never heard a ‘no’ or a ‘that’s not something we do’ from her. What a great example of professionalism, charisma, kindness, and love for her job, she worked with all our vendors (we received great feedback from them as well) she is a great representation of what Embassy Suites stands for.
Laiken, Katherine and Jenna worked with us to put together the most beautiful, classy and elegant wedding for my daughter and son-in-law.
We will also like to say thank you to Katherine for her vigilance to make sure everything was the way it supposed to be with the rooms we reserved. She was always a phone call away very pleasant and always welcoming. Thank you Katherine for everything you did for our family.
Thanks to the chef and his staff for the incredible food. The hours D’ Oeuvres and salmon were amazing. What an incredible team!
We will forever be thankful for your hard work and dedication Embassy Suites by Hilton Wilmington Riverfront. -

Excellent Venue

Rooftop Wedding Review
We had our ceremony on the rooftop of the Embassy Suites, and the reception in the main ballroom. We could not have been happier with the view, the location, the service, and the way that our wedding planner, Katherine Dooley, went above and beyond to ensure that we had a perfect wedding day! Perfect Wilmington wedding venue
Our wedding at Embassy Suites was a dream! We live 1.5 hours away from Wilmington and all of our guests were from out of town and having our wedding at a hotel made life SO much easier! There was no transportation to arrange and everything and everyone was at one central location. Our contact at Embassy Suites, Kelly, was incredibly helpful and organized and was quick to respond to my every email. She was also flexible with our schedules since we could only ever meet on weekends. The riverfront location of the hotel was picturesque and our ceremony was held on their gorgeous lawn. Conveniently, cocktail hour was just inside in a beautifully decorated pre-reception area with stunning river views. The ballroom held our 125 guests with no problem and also had two large windows overlooking the river. The food was catered by the in-house restaurant and was delicious!! We even asked the chef if he could prepare a passed hors d'oeuvre that was not on their “menu” and he was able to accommodate! Guests raved about the location and loved staying right on the riverwalk and being able to walk to all of the city’s best shops and restaurants. The hotel rooms are large and comfortable and getting ready upstairs the morning of the wedding was very convenient. The hotel even offered a large meeting room space for the guys to get ready. Their rooftop bar, Cloud 9, was the icing on the cake and was the perfect location for our wedding after-party! You can’t beat the views from up there. Overall, Embassy Suites was a prime location for our wedding and I am so glad we chose it for our big day! -
