    We had our wedding block at Embassy Suites for our wedding. My family has always loved staying at Embassy Suites and we were thrilled that there was a location so near to the venue. The staff was great and very accommodating. The hotel was beautiful and clean, and the breakfast was great. I would definitely recommend to anyone!

    I can't say enough good things about the Embassy Suites Hunt Valley. We booked a very large room block and extended the bar for the late night until 2 AM. I worked with Emily Bowers throughout the process and she was beyond amazing. She was very quick to respond via email. We needed a lot of rooms, and she was always willing and able to add more rooms on to our block as quick as they filled up. She was even able to find a room and honor the room block discount for a guest a day before the wedding even though the block had long been closed!! They handed out my goody bags at the front desk with no problems. All of our guests raved about and loved the hotel. The delicious breakfast was just the icing on the cake!! Beautiful hotel. Highly recommend!!! Only negatives-the elevators were a little slow and the rooms could use a face lift!

    We used Embassy Suites North for our reception venue. Our final wedding coordinator was Kaitlyn. Kaitlyn was awesome. She was very quick to respond to our emails / calls as we approached closer to our day. She also met with us a week or so before just to make sure everything we wanted was done for us. She made us feel very comfortable that we wouldn't have to worry about anything, and she was right. Everything was great. The food, the bar service, the servers and the whole staff were professional and were there to make our day that more special. Highly recommend using them for at least your wedding reception.

    Hotels have a lot of turnover in staff, but if you have a wedding planner separate from the venue, hotels make the best wedding venues. We had out of town guests that stayed - some of them for 2 nights. Embassy Suites offers a full-on breakfast buffet FREE to anyone staying at the hotel. Also the BAR is FREE between 5 & 7pm (I think I have the time right on that - during happy hour) At this particular Embassy Suites, Ms. Garnet is a mainstay. I believe she is basically in charge of the catering end, and you can depend on her to take excellent care of you and your guests during the cocktail hour and reception. When we did our tasting, we met with the chef & since we had booked two years in advance, the menu items had changed, but we were able to get the items we wanted for our guests. Embassy Suites also has a beautiful atrium full of towering plants and little rivers of fish -- a great place for your photos -- even though it is open to the public. We had out cocktail hour in atrium & everyone raved about it & the food at the reception. Perfect!

    Cassandra Rashad was awesome to work with for my daughter's wedding! Everything went very smoothly before and during the event. Cassandra went above and beyond for us. The entire staff was great.

    We had our wedding reception at the Embassy Suites in Hunt Valley on 6/28/14, and we had an AMAZING time! Cassandra was awesome from the first day I walked in to check out the ballroom after having a bad experience with the other vendor I had intended to use. Cassandra was incredibly helpful in planning everything and making sure everything was perfect on the day of the wedding. She even cleaned the train of my dress after it got dirty while taking pictures outside. Ms. Garnet was also very attentive and brought us everything we needed before we even asked on the day of the wedding! I would absolutely recommend Cassandra, her team, and the Embassy Suites Hunt Valley to any bride.

    The entire wedding went off without a hitch. We are still getting compliments on the food and cake.

    Carmela who handled our wedding did such a fantastic job. She not only met but exceeded our expectations. All the staff and service workers at Embassy Suites were so sweet and helpful.

    I highly recommend this place for any occassion.

    Great venue!! Very beautiful. The staff really made you feel reassured your day would go perfect. Very flexible. Just awesome :)

    The Embassy Suites saved our wedding! We had originally booked 20 rooms at Chase Suites Hunt Valley for us and our wedding guests almost a year in advance. We had also planned to cater our rehearsal dinner ourselves in their meeting room. One week before our wedding Chase Suites emailed us and told us they had overbooked the hotel and could no longer accomodate us! It was horrifying. Thankfully, Embassy Suites gave us all rooms and allowed Chase to pay the difference in price for our guests. They also catered our rehearsal dinner and worked within our original budget to help us. They gave us an open bar for free and waived the $500 room rental! All on 6 days notice! They were so kind and generous in an unbelievable stressful situation. The hotel was beautiful and provides an incredible breakfast as well. They also have a very attentive and friendly staff. I highly recommend this hotel and will intentionally stay at Embassy Suites in the future.

    Embassy Suites took care of everything and made our day go smoothly. Their experience allowed us to focus on other things. The room and the tables looked great. Additionally, Embassy included some services in their base price that other venues wanted to charge extra for or simply did not have to ability to supply. We loved our reception.

    The staff here was wonderful! We had a room block of about 20 rooms and they took care of us like we were the only people there! I lost my purse the first night and the front desk was great at helping me retrieve it. The day of the wedding the limo forgot to come back for the groom and groomsmen and the manager told my groom that he had a driver ready to take him there in the shuttle! When the bus refused to take us to the Inner Harbor per contract, the same manager opened the bar for us and 30 of our friends! We couldn't have asked for better service!!

    Very flexible & friendly staff! Reasonable room rental fee. Our party was great! My only hesitation was the pricing of the food. After attending several parties this past year, I really felt that the food was overpriced for the small amount we received. (The food was good, though.) We paid the same amount for kids & adults which made no sense. My 5 year old had a 50+ dollar plate. A lot of food was left over which really shouldn't of happened. Not sure what happened to all the extra food. After hearing what friends paid for their food & beverages (& a lot more of it), I felt that the Embassy had a cheap room rental but found ways to kick up food & drink prices. If you use them, be sure to understand charges upfront (we had some last minute price increases) & carefully examine the menu you're planning. Children & adults should not pay the same price.

    Whatever you do, do not book this hotel for your room blocks for your wedding. We had the absolute worst experience.
    At first, 6 months out from our wedding, we toured the hotel -it looked beautiful, everything seemed absolutely perfect. "Free" bar during happy hour, "free" breakfast in the morning- rainforest look- seemed great. It took massive negotiation to even get the hotel to offer $5 off of their regular rate. We had to reprint the contract several times to get the correct "discounted rate" and to include the bridal suites for the wedding parties. We mentioned several times our ceremony started at 330pm and our shuttles would begin arriving to Embassy Suites Hunt Valley at 230pm to shuttle our guests to the venue.
    Our guests began booking their rooms a few weeks before the wedding, but that's when we started to receive phone calls from our GUESTS that no one was "allowed" to check into their rooms before 3pm. There was not even an option for early check-in. The hotel's solution to this was to tell our guests they needed to pay for a room for Friday night, even though they weren't arriving until Saturday. This is when I, the bride, began calling the hotel. The front desk staff and sales department were extremely rude and stated "there's nothing we can do about it." I also discovered at this time the hotel had booked our bridal suites for our wedding weekend to another party!
    The morning of our wedding, the front desk told our hair and make up team we were not checked into the hotel yet, and made them wait for 45 minutes down in the lobby at 7:45am! The hotel did not even attempt to call our room. Finally I called our hair and make-up team and discovered this.
    The night of our wedding, my now husband and I attempted to check into our wedding night room around midnight, and the front desk would not let us check into our room because we had no photo IDs (just a wedding dress and a tux).
    Please, do not book here.
