ElopeRVA is the best place to go if you want your special day to be just like you dreamed. Chantal is hardworking, kind and went above and beyond to make sure that all the details were just perfect. My husband and I are both born and raised in India and as such had no idea how to go about planning a wedding here in Richmond, Virginia. And we were absolutely the luckiest to have found ElopeRVA very early on in that process. Chantal at ElopeRVA was so patient and took time to understand our exact vision for the day, explained to us all the nuances right from how to go about applying for a marriage license, to looking up the address for the courthouse, researching the possible locations for the ceremony, sending over ideas for the floral arrangement, coordinating with our photographer, and on the day of, delivering the most gorgeous looking bouquet, boutonniere and the floral arrangement for the arch. Chantal also officiated the ceremony for us and it was the most beautiful thing! The part of the day that would always remain with us and make our hearts warm, however, was when she helped me get ready for the Indian ceremony that we also had the same day - she had researched and learnt how to help one drape a Saree, and helped me greatly putting on my entire outfit. Lastly she had the perfect words that she spoke before our garland exchange. Overall, we are incredibly grateful that we chose to work with ElopeRVA. -

Our October wedding was an absolute dream, thanks to the seamless and heartfelt services provided by Elope RVA and the incredible officiant, Pastor Jamie. From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of perfection.
Elope RVA proved to be a highly professional vendor. Their fair pricing and easy communication made the entire process stress-free, allowing us to focus on the joy of our upcoming celebration.
Pastor Jamie, our officiant, was an absolute gem. Her warm approach made every interaction a pleasure. From the initial meetings to the big day, she demonstrated exceptional organizational skills, ensuring that every detail was in place for our ceremony. Pastor Jamie's thoughtful questions helped us tailor the ceremony to our preferences, offering a range of resources on timelines, vows, and traditions to choose from.
What stood out the most about Pastor Jamie was her genuine kindness and understanding. Despite not being a religious couple, she made us feel entirely comfortable and supported throughout the entire process. On the wedding day, her energy brought a delightful atmosphere to the ceremony, and she performed it flawlessly.
Pastor Jamie's love for love was palpable, making the ceremony not only a celebration of our commitment but also a joyful experience for everyone involved. If we could do it all over again, we would undoubtedly choose her services. We wholeheartedly recommend Elope RVA and Pastor Jamie to anyone seeking a professional, caring, and joyful officiant for their special day.

Unforgettable
We are fully convinced that the reason our special day was so special was because of Chantal and her team. Every detail, every logistic, every transition was well planned and thought out. We felt like we did not have to worry about a thing on our wedding day, In addition, her officiation of our ceremony turned out to be meaningful, powerful, and unique to us.
We would highly recommend, without any reservation, hiring Chantal and her team (Ashley was amazing as well)! -

There is no other options than to hire ElopeRVA. The booking process was SO easy, I contacted Chantal about our date through theKnot. She got back to me the same day to confirm that Rev. Jamie Lynn Haskins was available for our wedding day. From there, we started to email about details of the day. Chantal was very straightforward with next steps. She connected us with Rev. Jamie Lynn who reached out a couple of days later to set up a consultation before booking. We immediately felt comfortable with her, she discussed her background, how she typically does things, asked and answered any questions that we had. We are not religious so we knew that having someone who would craft a ceremony that fit our personalities was so important to us. She assured us that would not be an issue and it never was.
We booked ElopeRVA in June of 2021 for our wedding in July 2022. Rev. Jamie Lynn reached out to use about 3 months before the wedding to start creating our ceremony. She was always easy to get a hold of and schedule something. She was clear about her availability and made sure to work with us and our schedules too.
We set up another zoom call in which she really tried to get to know us so she could create the best ceremony possible. She asked us how we met, what we loved about each other, and other more intimate details about us and our relationship. She then sent us a rough draft of the ceremony so we could approve the wording and language used and some sample vow options to help us narrow down our choices. She was so careful to be respectful of what we wanted and asked all the right questions. The ceremony turned out EXACTLY how we pictured it! It perfectly capture us, our love and our story and had everyone (but mostly me) in tears. It felt so special and unique and perfectly us. I am so grateful to have had her throughout this process, I was nervous about finding the right officiant but I couldn't have picked better. Rev. Jamie Lynn is one of a kind and if you're looking for someone to make your day extra special she is it. -

Our Perfect Ceremony!
My husband and I aren’t particularly religious-we both grew up Christian, but didn’t want our ceremony to be completely religious focused as much as most weddings we’d been to. This made us pretty uncomfortable when searching for an officiant - we were nervous about finding someone who would truly customize the ceremony to our preferences, and the parts of our life and relationship that we found to be most important. We found exactly what we needed and more in Chantal!
Chantal was the perfect mix for us-we told her our preferences, but in areas of the ceremony we hasn’t thought of/weren’t sure about, she had a wealth of knowledge to pull from of various examples, ways to do things, and suggestions for making aspects of the ceremony fit with us. Our ceremony was beautiful, and we received a HUGE amount of compliments on Chantal-from her blessing of the hands, to the vows, and her overall public speaking talent-it was, simply put, a perfect ceremony for us.
I truly cannot recommend Chantal enough! -

Reverend Jamie Lynn was the officiant for my wedding this past January, and I truly can't believe that she didn't know my husband or I before that day. Her process was perfect: she spent about an hour getting to know us virtually, asking the couple-y questions, establishing what we wanted out of the ceremony and gave us her recommendations - and then she wrote a ceremony for us from scratch. She CAPTURED us. It was amazing. My husband and I were immediately so comfortable with her, and every single second of our ceremony was beautiful and perfect - she made us laugh a bit, cry a bit, and smile a lot. She was responsive, helpful, and so full of joy and light that it felt great just to be around her. After the ceremony, almost all of our guests complimented us on how great she was and how lovely the ceremony was. I was really nervous about having an officiant who didn't actually know my husband or I before the wedding and being married by a stranger - hiring Jamie Lynn from Elope RVA felt NOTHING like that. It was like having a warm and loving friend who knew us well translate our love to the world as she married us. It was beautiful and perfect. -

Chantal was amazing and adventurous. I found a fun destination to get married at that required a little bit of hiking and a 90 minute drive from Richmond and she was totally down for it. She is professional and she even made my beautiful bouquet. I totally recommend! -

My (now) husband and I decided to move abroad and had about 3 weeks to plan a wedding before we left. We wanted to do something special, but were incredibly stressed and overwhelmed trying to figure out what was even possible in that timeframe. In the luckiest Google search ever, we stumbled upon Chantal with ElopeRVA and I honestly have no idea what we would have done without her! Chantal was quick to reach out to us with information. She laid out all of our options and assured us that we would still be able to pull off a beautiful ceremony in such a quick timeframe. She helped us with EVERYTHING: venue selection, flowers, cake, selecting our photographer, setting up on the day of, AND was our officiant. Throughout the whole process, she was so quick to reply to us and our many questions! She was not only patient and knowledgeable, but also was fun to work with - throughout all of our stress, she still managed to make the process of planning our wedding/elopement fun and exciting. Another thing we really appreciated was that she was completely transparent about cost with us upfront - and was so respectful in giving us time to review our budget before making any financial decisions about what to include or not include in our day. Chantal worked with the site coordinators for us to work out logistics, and even went in person to scope everything out before the event day. This made everything so easy and stress-free for us. Our flowers and my bouquet were absolutely stunning, and EXACTLY what I had pictured- she even created a beautiful floral arrangement that was custom for the gazebo we got married in! The day of the event, Chantal arrived early to set everything up for us and work with the site coordinators/photographer/violinist...which made the day so easy for me! Our ceremony was amazing and Chantal spent time asking questions about what we wanted and learning more about us throughout the process so that the ceremony was personal to our relationship. We are so grateful to have found Chantal and we would not have been able to pull our ceremony off without her. She is so incredibly talented, hardworking, and kind- I recommend her to anyone who is considering an elopement or microwedding! -

Wonderful beautiful everything went perfect
Chantal was wonderful as our officiant. She was so sweet. Super helpful in helping us put the special touches on our special day. Her patience was appreciated. She’s flexible and interactive. She’s was consistent in communicating with us to assure we had everything we need within or without her services to make Sure our day was one to remember and easy as it can be. Jamie Lynn from ElopeRVA performed our ceremony, and she was absolutely perfect. We were looking for someone who enbraced diveristy and aligned with our values but could also make some religious allusions to appeal to our family. She walked the line perfectly and delivered a ceremony that really told the story of us as a couple. Numerous guests and even our venue commented on how great of a job she did afterward. The ceremony was so great though because Jamie Lynn took the time to get to know us as a couple, integrate that into her script, and made sure we were comfortable every step of the planning process. I would recommend ElopeRVA to everyone. You'll get personalized service from a friendly team; a beautiful, personal, and well organized ceremony; and affordable and easy services. -

Our Perfect Day
Chantal was amazing on our wedding day. My wife was a nervous wreck the night before because she didn’t know what to expect. But once we got to the venue, Chantal really put us at ease. She heard all of our concerns and took care of our special day as if it were her own. She even made me a beautiful floral crown to complete my wedding day! I would recommend her to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience on their big day. -

We highly recommend Chantal as a wedding officiant. She was so pleasant, genuine, and professional. Chantal held a call with us a few weeks before the wedding date to get a better understanding of what we were looking for. She attentively took notes, offered helpful suggestions, and shared some useful information with us after our call. She was quick to respond to our questions and made us feel comfortable. Chantal traveled over 2 hours to our location and arrived on time. She wrote up a ceremony that was just right for us (not too long and not too short) and we were happy with how she used the information we sent about ourselves. She was so accommodating, worked well with our photographer, and did not make us feel rushed. We liked her relaxed, easy-going vibe and she is clearly a very sweet, warm person. From talking through all the logistics of our intimate backyard wedding, to crafting a ceremony that beautifully honored our love story and families, to arranging gorgeous arch florals, we couldn't be happier to have worked with Chantal & ElopeRVA. Chantal took so much of the stress of holding a 30-person at-home wedding off our backs, and she and Tory worked seamlessly with our caterer, photographer, and family members to make everything run smoothly. I especially appreciated the thoughtfulness Chantal put into making both of our families feel welcomed and appreciated, which was no small task given the range of personalities we had in attendance. She also took care to make sure my husband and could enjoy a few special moments to relax and breathe in between all the busyness. So happy to recommend! -
