Easy, simple & so special!
Rev. Christopher made the day so special for us! He was so responsive & easy to work with. He made our job so easy...giving us tips and tricks along the way. We showed up and had the most magical moment together. Anyone looking to elope on Coronado Beach or in San Diego area...we HIGHLY recommend working with them! -

We eloped to Coronado on 8-4-17. Chaplain Christopher made every thing so easy. His message and words of wisdom were perfect for our story and journey. It was a beautiful experience! -

My husband and I were so happy we found Rev. Christopher online! He and Chaplain Mary made the whole elopement process so easy. The Rev was always quick to respond to our emailed requests and he officiated our beautiful and simple wedding at the Del Coronado Sand Dunes. Since my husband and I flew in for our elopement, we didn't know where to stay, how to find a photographer, where to get flowers, etc. and thankfully, Elope to San Diego helps you coordinate all of those details by asking which services you need and giving you contact information for vendors at a preferred rate. Easy Peasy! Rev. Christopher even took care of filing our marriage license for us so we could focus on having fun on our honeymoon! I wouldn't change a thing from our wedding and we are so thankful to have worked with the Tuttle's. MAKE SURE you go with Elope to San Diego when you are planning your elopement, there are other groups out there with similar names but you will not get the same level of service and care!
On a personal note, my dad had passed away a few years ago, and that's one of the big reasons we chose an elopement over a traditional wedding - no one to walk me down the aisle! But Rev. Christopher was an easy choice to have perform the ceremony because from the very moment I read through his website and saw his pictures, I could tell he was a kind man with a huge heart and it felt *right* to have him marry us. When we met the Rev, I knew immediately we had made the right choice - his sweet spirit and funny personality was the perfect addition to our wedding day. If you are considering eloping in San Diego, there is no need to look anywhere else - the Tuttle's will take care of you, just like they did us! 5 Stars, A++++++!!!!!

The Tuttle's are top notch and down to earth people. Needless to say Rev. Christoper and Chaplin Mary were understanding with me. I did not have a bouquet. Mary made me a bouquet just in case I did not have. Very thoughtful and above and beyond. The prices are very reasonable. Photographer, Kimberley Nicole was outstanding. I recommend Elope 2 San Diego. -

Reverend Tuttle and Chaplain Mary were Exceptional! So light hearted and fun- but also very knowledgeable and heartfelt. The beach and ceremony venue was gorgeous- absolutely everything I could ever have imagined. They referred us to Janis Foley Photography- the images that she captured were stunning. Overall, I am thrilled, couldn't be happier- and give them the highest possible rating. I would highly and emphatically recommend them- especially if you are looking for a small intimate and affordable but very high quality memorable wedding on the beach. AMAZING ! -

Reverend Tuttle and Chaplain Mary were incredible. We are so happy we stumbled upon their site on a search engine. I personally really loved their website and testimonials, but was also drawn to their wisdom and experience. I would definitely recommend them if you are looking for someone who makes you feel like family and really comfortable with a great sense of humor and wit. -

Our summer vacation coincided with our fifteenth wedding anniversary this year, so we decided to renew our vows in one of our favorite places: Coronado. I found Elope to San Diego online and after some research, decided to hire Rev. Tuttle to officiate. We could not have been more pleased. From start to finish, he was professional and personable. Our vow renewal was the highlight of our summer vacation. Our children are still talking about it. We also retained photography services from Richard Santini (referred to us by Rev. Tuttle). His work is phenomenal. -

We got married with Rev Tuttle on the 28th August at Coronado Beach, San Diego. From start to finish Elope to San Diego were easy to communicate with, helpful and kind. Their manner when we met them was friendly and made us feel so relaxed right away. Rev Tuttle was there with his wife Mary who was also helpful and kind. The service itself was heartfelt and thought provoking and made a huge impression on us both even though we giggled through most of it! We were just so happy to be having an intimate ceremony together and Elope To San Diego provided this beautifully. We were there with my partners two children who will involved in the ceremony. Rev Tuttle was so much fun with them and they remembered him being 'cool' and breaking the ice for all. Highly recommended by us to anyone wanting to get married on the beach! No hassle, no fuss, just romance and wonderful people. -

We highly recommend working with Elope to San Diego!! It was stress free and Rev. Chris was very personable and helpful with recommendations on vendors. We planned within one month and it turned out perfect. Our ceremony was very special with the added sand ceremony blessing! Our Wedding Day was the Best Day ever and thankful it was so easy! We loved the personal touches and service. We were able to utilize his recommended hotel, photographer (highly recommend Janis Foley too) and restaurant location which was helpful since we were from out of state. -

Today is our second year Wedding anniversary from when Rev. Chris married us on 8~16~13 at Paradise Point. Rev. Chris as well as his referrals for video and a photographer were a excellent experience at very reasonable prices. Just having watched our wedding video brought back all the memories of how Rev. Chris returned every text, phone call and email we sent never making us feel like we were being a pain asking so many questions. Rev. Chris make our special day feel like we were having a huge wedding. It didnt feel like we eloped. Rev. Christoper we are so honored you married us and we thank you two years later for all you did. Rev. Christopher and his wife were wonderful. I was a bit anxious about booking an elopement online, but there was nothing at all to worry about with these two. They were both warm and personable from the moment we met them on the beach. They immediately put us at ease, (even though we were running late and I was completely stressed out) and Rev. Christopher did a perfect ceremony for us. -

The entire experience from booking the venue, to communicating and working out all the details prior to, their ability to be flexible, their knowledge of the area, their thoroughness with every detail, to executing the wedding perfectly, to the grand finale which was receiving the highest quality photographs I have ever seen in my life. Christine is the best photographer hands down. This service alone was worth every penny.. I live in Pittsburgh PA and knew no one on the West Coast to give me a referral as to who I could use for one of the most important days of my life. I went on line and by the grace of God I won the lottery by using Christine and Steve. Rev. Christopher Tuttle is truly professional and amazing. From the beginning, as a bride with many questions, he made sure that he answered all of my questions. I appreciated that he told me to make sure I do my "homework" and research other chaplains, to ensure that it was a match! As soon as I had made a few calls and did some research, I knew instantly that Rev. Christopher Tuttle was my man! He had just the write balance of fun and professionalism! He put me at ease and I knew it was the one person I didn't have to worry about, and I could focus on all the other vendors I needed to secure. I really appreciated his Wedding Handbook. This process made it easy to determine, with my husband, our choices for our beautiful and romantic ceremony day! Rev. Christopher Tuttle was always available, and was quick to respond with any phone or email inquiries. I had ZERO issues and the process, in my mind, was FLAWLESS. My wife and I got married in La Jolla, in a beautiful beach location picked by the couple who married us. Reverend was such a nice person, as was his wife. He brought a little humor to the wedding as well, which we both loved. They presented us with a gift as well when we arrived, it was a bottle with sand and shells in it and our names with the wedding date printed on it. They were both very kind and the whole event went quickly, yet we both enjoyed every moment of it. I highly suggest going through Elope to San Diego if you're thinking of doing a very small, personal ceremony. -

Our wedding went off without a hitch! Rev. Christopher and his wonderful wife were the PERFECT way to go! The communication was effortless and we could not have picked a more sensitive, funny, down to earth, outstanding guy to share our special day with. Military Monday's is an amazing offer that Rev. Christopher & Chaplain Mary offer to those in the service. It was beautiful and easy to find. It was a day that I will never forget. We had our beautiful ceremony through "Elope to San Diego" services from Rev. Christopher Tuttle on 03.15.2014. He was highly recommended and the elopement ceremony was very affordable. If we had any questions or needed to contact him, he would contact us right away. It was a very smooth, easy process in getting the ceremony booked. He also had vendors for a discounted rate that you can book for such as photographer, videographer, musician, hair/makeup....etc.
When the day finally came, Rev. Christopher Tuttle performed a beautiful ceremony for us. It was very relaxing, intimate, and the views were absolutely amazing! We would highly recommend Rev. Christopher Tuttle for an elopement ceremony! -

We got married on Coronado Beach in December. The weather was gorgeous and Steve and Christine were very friendly and professional. Christine took our photos and they were lovely. I am beyond impressed and satisfied with the way our wedding went. I would certainly recommend Elope San Diego to anyone thinking about doing a beach elopement! -

I booked Rev Tuttle for our 25th Wedding Anniversary Vow Renewal and as I live in the UK I did all my research online before booking and can say that I could not have made a better choice. The ceremony was very emotional for us and he made us feel very relaxed and at ease. The location was stunning and the sunset at Cuvier Park was perfect. I would 100% recommend. -

We used Cuvier Park Wedding Bowl for our Ceremony site. Our reception site was The Loft @UCSD and our caterer was the AMAZING Erin Campbell and her team from Zanzibar Café. I have reviewed them both also on this website so this review is just for the Wedding Bowl in La Jolla, at Cuvier Park. We had about 90 people there at the bowl and although they say 40, we had 90 with chairs and no problems. It was a beautiful ceremony site. Exactly what we wanted and since rental is through the county, it was very reasonable, about $300 BUT we did book a year in advance and got the last weekend day available! You can book this site online too! We had no electric so the Rabbi had to speak up and the musician had to sing a little louder but the sight of the ocean and sky in the backdrop, was breathtaking for all. A wonderful venue. -

He is very organized, and provided so many helpful ideas, tips, and was quick to answer any questions I had - he truly made our special day easy, stress-free, and enjoyable more than we could have ever imagined! Reverend Chris is amazing! I started looking into elopement ceremonies from Chicago and I came across Elope to San Diego. Rev. Chris was very accommodating and helpful when it came to questions we had. He was always responsive in a timely manner and made the day everything we had hoped for! I couldn't have asked for a better ceremony! The location at La Jolla was beautiful, the process was extremely simple and the best part of all was Rev. Christopher Tuttle! Just a few minutes after meeting him we felt very comfortable with him and he did an amazing job performing the ceremony for us! I strongly recommend him.

Rev. Tuttle immediately put my husband and I at ease and was kind enough to ask for any special requests to be included in the ceremony that I had not thought of. He was pleasant and funny and kept the ceremony moving with great stories and advice and many moments to remember and share. Our guests were included and he engaged them with his humor and care as he went through the very personal and intimate service that felt like he created just for us. There was only happiness and joy, no stress or hassle. I highly recommend him and his great photographers Hal and Lia. -

If you are looking for a beautiful ceremony and wonderful people to help you with it AND you're in the military, or even if you are not, I would highly recommend Rev. Christopher Tuttle. everything was perfect. Short, Fast, fun and most importantly romantic. i thought my husband and I wouldn't get married due to the hectic schedule of the military but with the help of Rev. Christopher and military monday's it was able to happen. plain and simple something that we wanted until we save up enough money to have all our family and friends. we enjoyed every moment, it was amazing. i would recommend this to anyone in the military, it is very beneficial. -

I am still in complete awe as to what Rev. Rev Christopher was perfect for our elopement. He had a wonderful way of speaking that instantly made us relaxed so we could enjoy our ceremony and not be so nervous! He was just the right mixture of professional and casual so that the we could laugh a little and just be ourselves, yet feel the seriousness of the commitment we were making to each other. I cannot thank him enough for volunteering his services. We wouldn't have been able to have such a beautiful ceremony otherwise. He made everything so easy. All of my questions were answered on his website and he was prompt in answering emails. Everything was very organized and he was punctual, even though we were not! We could not have asked for a better experience. This will be a day we remember forever. The location was beyond beautiful. We were very comfortable during the whole day thanks to reverend tuttle. My husband and I are both in the Army and while dating, we found out that we would be sent to opposite ends of the world for the next 3 years. SO, we decided to elope! We called Reverand Tuttle on a Friday afternoon and he truly was an angel sent to us! When he heard my voice, stressed about how we would squeeze in a wedding over a holiday weekend so we could get stationed together, he told me "Caroline, I hear the stress in your voice, let me see if I can put a smile on your face..." He was absolutely amazing - he insisted that instead of just signing papers in a courtroom that we do something romantic. There we were just a few days later on Monday, having never met previously, he stood with us on a cliff in La Jolla, San Diego, CA and married us in a perfect ceremony. His words were so genuine and encouraging, he truly made the act of marriage so incredibly special for us. Thank you Reverand Tuttle! -

Reverend Christopher provided an amazing experience for our elopement in San Diego. We were a pretty low maintenance couple as far as planning our elopement - our schedule was very short notice and we were plenty busy just trying to round up our friends & family and put together a few personal touches for our ceremony. Rev. Christopher made it extremely easy to figure out what we needed to arrange for our ceremony and line everything up in a short amount of time. In the end we had a beautiful ceremony on the beach at sunset that our friends and family still talk about several months later. Reverend Christopher kept us at ease and the mood lighthearted while he walked us through vows that were just right for us. Definitely highly recommended. -

I had been wanting a simple ceremony that would include about 20 of my closest family and friends and I found 2 websites that promised a simple elopement ceremony for those of us on a budget (my husband and I have 3 kids under the age of 3 - OF COURSE we need a cost-effective ceremony!). I first thought about spending over $1000 to have someone marry us, have their wife take our pictures, but only be allowed to have 5 people in our special day. Then I saw Reverend Tuttle's website and I knew that this was by far, the BEST choice I could make. I could have up to 25 people for a beautiful sunset ceremony on the beach, have my own photographer, and it did not even cost us $400!! I HIGHLY recommend his services!!! Everyone that came to my "wedding" told me that they really liked him, he didn't read the same verse that most officiants recite, instead he gave us his advice and words of wisdom. I am hoping to renew my vows in the years to come and have our children involved this time since they are too young right now and I know exactly who to call to have that done! My husband is a Navy Corpsman stationed in San Diego and I am still back home in Omaha, NE. With him stationed we knew that trying to plan a wedding back home would be hard so we decided to have an elopement in San Diego and then have a celebration back home on his next leave. We looked at a few elopement vendors before we found Rev. Tuttle. Not only is his services very reasonable but he also offered free Military Mondays. At first my husband was a little nervous as he did not know Rev. Tuttle but he couldn’t have been move pleased with our service. Rev. Tuttle provided me with a lovely bouquet from Katrina O'Donnell Custom Florals and amazing last minute photography from Robert Andrew Photography, and also tissue; which I forgot ;). Along with my husband’s Navy family, my best friend and my cousin and her husband we had thee most beautiful wedding/elopement on the beach in La Jolla at sunset. Rev. Tuttle spoke some of the best advice and beautiful words that will stick with us for the rest of our life. We started our life as husband and wife that night but we also made a wonderful friend in Rev. Tuttle. There are not enough words to say how thankful we are for him and the services he provided for us. Rev. Tuttle is thee most warm and kind hearted man and anyone would be honored and pleased to have him.

AMAZING!!! Rev. Tuttle took what would have been a simple trip to the courthouse and made it into the day of our dreams! All of these people who appreciate the military that he brought together for our special day was truly humbling. I have told everyone I know it seems about how wonderful the Reverend was. He and his military heros truly made our day magical. My husband and I married in a sunset ceremony in La Jolla. The weather was chilly but everything else was wonderful. The violinist was amazing, the flowers spectacular and although we were running behind, the photographer and his assistant were determined to get some great shots. The Reverend was very personal and patient. We didnt feel rushed or like just another couple tieing the knott. Thank you to all of them. -

It was beyond a blessing to stumble across Rev Christopher. His services went above and beyond our expectations, as for value, there is no price i wouldnt have paid to have made him apart of our special day. The tips he gave us lead us to the perfect vendors, perfect location, perfect time of day and no doubt our ceremony was PERFECT! Would we recommend Rev Christopher?? Over and Over and Over again. My husband and I made the best choice ever. Reverend Tuttle is an amazing person, very professional and we were VERY impressed with the civil ceremony - we LOVED it, it was beyond what we expected. We are very happy we had the opportunity to share this special day with him. Reverend Tutle was by far the best choice we made when selecting an officiant for our wedding. Since my husband and I are both in the Marines Corps he provided us with free service. The location was amazing. Very beautiful and better than anything we could have wished for. He provides his services free of charge on Mondays to military personnel and for that and everything else he did I thank him. Our ceremony was beutiful. And besides the fact that he officiated an amazing ceremony, he also got us a beautiful bouquet and a great photographer, for free! Thank you Rvd Tutle! -

My husband and I are both officers in the Army and before we were married, found out that I was being sent to Germany for 3 years and my husband to Texas. With only one weekend to figure things out before I had to leave for Germany, stress was at an all time high. On Friday, October 8, 2011, on a trip to visit friends in San Diego, we decided we were going to get married so we could both go to Texas together. That afternoon I called around to ministers who'd be able to help out on such short notice, but no luck. However, when Rev. Tuttle answered the phone I knew Immediately that he was our angel! He told me to take a breath and relax because he would make it all work. He was unphased when I told him the only chance to wed was two days later, and kept reassuring me everything would work out. Sure enough, Rev. Tuttle made the elopement incredibly special. He insisted we have it in a romantic location not just an office, and offered his services free of charge as part of his military Mondays program. He had fellow vendors donate gorgeous flowers and photography. He performed a beautiful ceremony with some incredibly touching and memorable advice. I will forever remember the words he shared with us. Afterwards he took care of all the paperwork and made the entire process incredibly simple, stressfree and enjoyable. We are forever indebted to him for his kindness and generosity. If it weren't for him, I would be in Germany right now wishing I could be with my husband. Instead I'm here in Texas sharing our lives together! Thank you Rev Tuttle! -

I would definately rate Rev. Christopher a 5/5 stars! I couldnt really rate the value for cost because we were part of his Military Mondays, so it was free. I was stressing a little and was slightly nervous at the beginning, but he made us feel so comfortable by the time of the ceremony I had forgotten all my worries. Even though we had never met him before he made us feel so special. You can tell he truly cares and he enjoys doing his job. I would have not changed one thing about our special day with Rev. Christopher. So a BIG Thanks to Rev. Christopher Tuttle for Military Mondays! -

What more can I say about our experience? Wow! Rev. Christopher Tuttle renewed vows for my husband and I on our anniversary. We spoke once on the phone, although most communication was via email. I immediately felt at ease and comfortable with him. He is attentive, professional and kind. We renewed our vows on the beach in La Jolla. It was amazing!!! He handled our vow renewal with grace, love and wisdom. It was a beautiful day and we could not have picked a more perfect person to share that day with. If you are looking for a great alternative to elope or renew your vows, look no further than Rev. Christopher Tuttle with Elope to San Deigo. You will NOT regret it, I promise!!!! -

Rev. Tuttle was very professional and kind. We were late getting to the ceremony, because we did not use Rev Tuttle's directions, and we got lost. When we finally did arrive, he was there waiting for us, with a smile and warm greeting. I probably should have checked the weather forcast better, because it was much colder than we had expected, but everything turned out beautifully. We couldn't have picked a better officiant. Reverend Tuttle was absolutely spectacular. We had a rainy wedding day (good luck?), and he was very accommodating while we tried to find a good break in the weather to get married. His kind, beautiful, and genuine words really made the ceremony spectacular, despite the rain. -

Rev. Tuttle was so nice during the whole process. We really loved all the things he said to us during our ceremony. He responded quickly to our request to be married and was extremely helpful. We were married in La Jolla. We didn't expect things to be so public and to have such a big audience, but it was still really beautiful and special, and Rev. Tuttle tried to make us as comfortable as possible. I would recommend him to any couple either on a budget or wanting to have an elopement worth remembering. -

I am the mother of the bride and please let me tell you that Rev Christopher exceed all of my expectations in every way. Even my skeptical friend who attend was impressed.
Rev Christopher was very kind, thoughtful, warm, friendly, spoke from his heart, created ease and grace amongst all of us and most of all gave us a beautiful memory of this special day. I am sooooo grateful to him and would highly recommend him to anyone.

Rev. Christopher married us this October in Coronado and we could not have planned it to go better. Our wedding day was perfect. If you are looking for an officiant, he truly is awesome to use. Communication prior to the ceremony was clear and he always addressed questions and concerns quickly and in a caring manner. On the day of our ceremony, he was there early and quickly put my husband at ease with his personal manner. He was considerate and caring of all those present, but most of all made the ceremony special with what he said and how he said it. We did not feel this was some generic ceremony, but very personal and special to the two of us. Our sand ceremony was beautiful and included my two children. Rev. Christopher's referral to our photographer, Richard from RHS Photo, was also fantastic as he made the time memorable and fun. Thank you, Rev. Christopher.. We will have beautiful, lasting memories to come. -

My husband and I chose to elope because we did not want the expense and drama that comes with a traditional large wedding. Additionally, we live in AZ but wanted to get married in San Diego because of it's beautiful location and also because we vacationed there the weekend we got engaged. We found Rev. Tuttle's Elope to San Diego online. He was great to work with and although we only communicated with him through email until the day of the elopement, the information he provided was very helpful and made us confident and comfortable w/ his services. The ceremony was perfect for us - he has a great sense of humor and put us at ease immediately. If you're looking for something meaningful yet simple and sweet, this is the way to go. -

Rev. Christopher Tuttle is thorough - you will know from Day 1 what you can expect of him and what he expects of you. He is professional, personable and polished. However, it's not just a "business" for him. He showed, through every communication, that he cares about each couple and about making their elopement (or wedding) as unique as the couple.
He is knowledgeable of locations, vendors, services, dates, etc. He never steered us wrong. He was up front, honest and open. There were no "hidden" costs or surprises. Best of all - we'd never met before the service yet, through his communications, when we arrived, I felt as if we were already friends. I couldn't have been happier with him!

Wow, totally amazed by the professionalism and attitude of Rev Tuttle. He made the experience of marriage exciting and energetic, while making a comfortable atmosphere with his humor and character. Rev Tuttle made the process of marriage easy, fast and affordable. I strongly reccomend his services for anyone looking for a unique way to elope in San Diego.
