Magical Elopement!
I am so happy we found Elope Outdoors. I was immediately drawn to their laidback approach and beautiful pictures. While everyone was laidback, they were extremely organized. All the details were taken care of and Cassie was super helpful, checking in while we waited for our big day. The details were perfect. I was obsessed with our flowers and I am still thinking about the triple chocolate ganache cake. Most of all, I appreciated how Elope Outdoors helped us create an intimate experience that we will treasure forever. -

High quality, excellent communication, amazing photography
Elope Outdoors helped us to plan a perfect, beautiful, intimate elopement from 300 miles away. Cassie and Megan consistently went above and beyond our expectations of the company to coordinate details for our dream Jewish elopement on top of a mountain.
The EO team was responsive to emails- often answering our evening or weekend emails within several hours- and helped us to feel comfortable with strangers planning such an important moment in our lives. Cassie helped us to work through all anxiety and concerns about the various aspects of our day. She not only gave us options for every aspect, but provided detailed pros and cons for each date, location, and time of day. She is truly an expert in this field, and does her work humbly but brilliantly.
We selected Elope Outdoors based on the pictures from their blog posts, as we wanted to share high quality images with our loved ones. The photography from our day exceeded all expectations. The photos are stunning and capture our personalities to a tee. We were both slightly nervous about our comfort level with formal photos, as we are both goofy and not always photogenic; but Megan's warmth and sense of humor put us at ease as soon as we met her on our wedding day. We were surprised by how much fun we had taking the pictures, and blown away by the beauty of the photos.
We would recommend Elope Outdoors to any couple that is looking for a team to personalize your special day, especially if you are looking for local experts to help you plan a Blue Ridge Mountain elopement. -

They are the best!
I am so glad to have chosen Elope Outdoors for our weeding. This incredible team made possible a perfect day for us. We planned everything with them by email since we don’t live in Asheville, and the communication was so easy, clear, fast and friendly. Cassie made sure that all the details were planned, checking the weather and the park openings days before our wedding, and due to a park closure, we had to change the location, issue that Cassie resolved immediately. We really did not have to worry for anything, and we had a total stress-free weeding, just like we wanted. Rev. Nick officiate the ceremony. He is so nice, friendly, and sweet, that I felt that I know him from a long time. The ceremony was so memorable, he made a very special moment for us, offers a lot of options for a ceremony style, and he included all the details we wanted, making a smooth and romantic experience. Now I had Maddie, last but not least, out photographer. She is the best photographer I have ever met. Her work is impeccable, the quality of the pictures is from a luxury magazine, she make us looks like actors from a movie. The photos are from heaven!!!!! So worth it. And on top of that, she is so sweet and nice person, easy to talk with, she made us feel so comfortable, that we not being persons that like be taken photos, we even enjoyed the photo sessions. We laughed and relaxed by the beautiful moment in that amazing landscape. I expected to have professional people working for my wedding day, but this go far and beyond, above all kind of expectations. Thank you for our dream day! -

I can't say enough about this business, the people that run it, and their vendor partners. Everyone that we interacted with was friendly, professional, amazing at what they do, and completely made our wedding day a success! We had so much fun at our wedding because of how comfortable they made us feel. We also have had a fabulous experience with them and their partner videographers after the wedding. Both Elope Outdoors and Heartistree Studios have kept up great communication and delivered amazing products in such reasonable times after our wedding. The prices are an amazing value for the services we received and we have so much to show for it. Most of all, looking back on the pictures from our wedding, Elope Outdoors truly captured all the special moments and our personalities. -

The Best Decision!
Utilizing Elope Outdoors to plan our elopement was the best possible choice we could've made. Cassie made the entire process stress-free, even when COVID-19 threw a wrench in our original plans and we had to postpone. Everyone who was there the day of the elopement was so easy to talk to & just overall wonderful. It was just so EASY & made our day all the more special. If you are looking for a simple, beautiful elopement with no stress or tons of details to iron out, this is the perfect option! Julia built us the perfect personalized ceremony; Jenny, our photographer, put us instantly at ease, and captured every detail of our magical sunset elopement; and Cassie offered wonderful location recommendations, and was extremely responsive when we had questions. (Married 06.30.2020). Working with the whole team at Elope Outdoors was the best decision we could have made for our intimate wedding. Cassie was always very quick to respond to emails and made the process and decision-making very stress-free. Meghan was also great to work with and our photographs turned out amazing. Our officiant Nick did a wonderful job with our ceremony. My bouquet was unique and gorgeous, and our mini cake was delicious! We live in OH and had to cancel our original wedding in NY due to the pandemic and we planned our elopement within about 5 weeks. It was even better than we imagined our original wedding plans would have turned out! We really could not be happier with our decision to work with Elope Outdoors and recommend to anyone looking for a simple wedding in the Asheville area. -

Working with Elope Outdoors ~ Asheville was the greatest decision we could have made when it came to our wedding. We had originally planned the 'big show' back in our hometown, as it grew more and more stressful we took a step back and realized this is not how we wanted our special day to be. We reached out to Cassie and the Elope Outdoors team and from there we were taken care of each and every step of the way. I was able to be hands off allowing me to be present on my special day. The quality, attention to detail and cost were selling points for us. We especially loved that they used local businesses as their vendors which keeps the community thriving! I cannot say enough great things about Elope Outdoors! My (now) husband and I wanted a small, intimate ceremony in the mountains and what we got was the most magical day of our lives. Flowers, cake, bubbly toast - Elope Outdoors thinks of everything and allows customization as you make each choice. Our point of contact, Cassie, responded quickly, was incredibly helpful (especially when the National Park Service denied our initial location due to road maintenance!) and she did it all with such a cheerful and positive demeanor. She was truly a pleasure to work with! Our officiant, Julia, was absolutely amazing. We had the opportunity to complete a questionnaire to share our story so she could create the perfect ceremony for us. Our families are still raving about how special her words were. Our photographer, Amy, was soft-spoken and sweet; she worked with us (and helped us pose naturally) to create stunning photos that we will cherish forever. We cannot thank Elope Outdoors enough for going above and beyond our wildest expectations to make our dream of a mountain top wedding come true!! -

Elope Outdoors Asheville made my wedding dream come true. The entire team was wonderful from start to finish. Cassie, the event coordinator, answered all of my many questions quickly and kindly. Our officiant, Michael, took the time to get to know Brandon and I and perfectly incorporated the poems we chose and made the ceremony fit our life. You would have thought he had known us for years. I provided a few inspiration photos for my bouquet and on the day of the ceremony was given an absolutely gorgeous arrangement. Meghan Rolfe, the photographer, blew away our expectations and hopes for our special day. She is professional but laid back, funny and incredibly sweet. She put us at ease and captured breathtakingly beautiful photos we will treasure for a lifetime. We received our proofs very quickly and now are tasked with the tough decision of which ones to order. This wedding was simple, easy, and affordable and perfect for us. It was exactly what we wanted and we couldn't be more pleased. -

Best Day Ever!!!
We eloped in March so I am behind the time, but today is our 6 month anniversary so what better time!
Where do I start?!? Meghan was the absolute best and made our day beyond special. She was so accommodating. She met with us before hand to ensure everything was planned. She had excellent communication through text/e-mail/phone. Our officiant Nick was perfect, he is a retired volunteer fireman and my now husband is a fireman so I felt as though this was fate!
It snowed the morning of our ceremony, which was not in "the plan" however Meghan was still willing to help make our special day happen. It was FREEZING but the photos were absolutely stunning and it was honestly the best day of our lives.
Thank you so much for allowing us to start our lives together in such an amazing setting and capturing every moment -

Perfect!
Meghan and Cassie were wonderful!! We eloped in May and they made the whole process a breeze!! Both ladies were very prompt with their email responses whenever we had questions or concerns. The entire experience was wonderful and I wouldn’t want to get married any other way! We ended up having a perfect day on top of Black Balsam Knob and Meghan captured GORGEOUS pictures! We also had so much fun drinking delicious bubbly and enjoying a scrumptious cake on top of the mountain at sunset! 5/5 would recommend Elope Outdoors to anyone looking for an intimate experience when getting married!! -

The Perfect Simple Wedding
Best wedding ever! From the very first email, Meghan was so professional, quick to respond, and really put me at ease knowing our little wedding would be exactly what we wanted. Finding a mountaintop location that would be accessible in the dead of winter isn’t easy, but Meghan had several suggestions and our final choice of Max Patch did not disappoint! She and our officiant, Mike, braved the freezing cold and wind with us and we could not be more appreciative. Everything was perfect, from the short and sweet ceremony, to the insanely beautiful bouquet, and, of course... the photos. Let’s just say neither of us love being in front of the camera, but Meghan was so good at directing us and working around our awkwardness to deliver the most gorgeous pictures I’ve ever seen. Everyone I have shown is just in awe of how beautiful they are. I can’t thank Elope Outdoors enough! -

Really truly, Meghan and her team were absolutely amazing and wonderful to work with! Meghan was super responsive to messages and provided so many location options that the hardest part of our Elopement was picking out where to go to dinner! We even decided last minute to have our big day videotaped and Meghan got right to it and confirmed plans almost immediately. She teamed up with Heart is Tree Studios, who were also AMAZING! Elope Outdoors totally takes the guess work out of what to do, where to go, what will happen...it is all so easy, stress free and left us feeling so confident in our decision to marry without friends, family or an expensive price tag! Meghans pictures were beautiful, I cannot express this enough! She is very easy to work it and provides a lot of direction so you know how to pose and what to do! Michael, our officiant, was awesome! He too was super easy to work with and made sure our Ceremony was exactly as we wanted. I really cannot say enough for Meghan and her Elope Outdoors business, everything was just so wonderful! -

Ethereal, raw, authentic, honest, glowing, natural... just a few ways to describe our photographs from our wedding day. Both my *husband* and I feel the photos capture our nature- easygoing, carefree, light and simple. Not to mention we feel equally gorgeous and handsome through her craft. We don't have enough wall space for the beauty in the diverse shots from the day. Meghan Rolfe is an amazing artist- and you don't even realize as it's happening as she makes you feel natural, not at all awkward or staged during the photoshoot. From first phone conversation ("I think we might, maybe want to run away to Ashevile to elope, perhaps, potentially...") to day of Meghan felt more like a bridesmaid and BFFL than hired professional. Coming from out of state, our elopement could have been stressful but Meghan took care of it all. The all included package from Elope Outdoors is unreal- Meghan picks up a delish cake from a lil bakery in West Asheville, grabs INSANE flowers (and flower crown, ladies--- you gotta do it!) from friends at a local wild flower farm (let Nikki at Flourish do what she wants for your flowers by what's in season, I promise you won't regret it), she sends you questionnaires to find out what your vibe day of and dream wedding looks like and gets to know you as a couple, grabs the bubbly, leads you on an adventure to one of North Carolina's most incredible landscapes and connects you to an officiant (NICK- unreal at personalizing our intimate ceremony- we asked to video chat with him in weeks leading up to elopement to customize ceremony. It took any awkwardness out, again, felt like reconnecting with an old friend. He can be formal and religious or spiritual and hippy-dip. Very flexible team depending on ceremony vision.). Couples require a degree of flexibility and trust to optimize the adventurous spirit of outdoor elopements and unpredictable weather in NC. Meghan watches the weather radar with diligence day of and is flexible to move couples to new locations or to a gorgeous local Asheville inn if mother nature is actin' up. We switched our spot up last minute due to storms and Meghan was clear, knowledgable and communicative of new plan- no stress at all. Meghan acted as a travel agent, wedding planner, photographer and absolute gem to have witness to our most sacred moments. She loves love, loves her craft and loves the natural landscapes she works on daily- and it shows. Prices are unreal affordable and you'll leave with images for the rest of your life that reflect your true spirit. AND- she gets them to you ASAP so you can blast your fam & friends with that surprise announcement. Now we just have to fly back to Asheville for life's other special moments to have Meghan photograph... THANK YOU MEGHAN! -

Samantha Sent on 06/08/2018Meghan made my wedding into an absolute dream. I contacted her 5 months prior the date that we wanted, and in all of her communications Meghan was very responsive. Since I was not being local to the area, she was essential in providing insight on potential venues and even went the extra mile to discover a new one that would tick off all of our boxes.
In person and over email, she is incredibly nice and thoughtful – In fact with her professional, caring demeanor she calmed this panicking bride down and immediately jumped to action when there was a break in the storm, that East Coast got slammed with that week.
Through all her connections (the officiant, the florist and bakery), she made my dream of an intimate outdoor wedding a reality and a breeze, and something that I will truly treasure for the rest of my life. I cannot thank her enough. -
