I did not have to do a thing. She was awesome. Never have had such an easy, wonderful experience with a vendor. Thank you so very much Ellen.

Brookley Sent on 07/12/2017My mother, new husband and I absolutely adore Ellen! We brought Ellen on as our month of wedding coordinator and she truly was a blessing. I am a huge planner and felt I knew exactly what type of ambiance I wanted for my wedding day - from the flowers to the cake, decor, music and all - and with my mother's help I "knew" we were set! However while I may have had the answers to all those questions that first come to mind when you start planning, I actually realized as we got closer to the wedding that I (nor my mother) knew anything about what it would actually take to make the wedding run as we'd dreamed. That's when we called Ellen! She was able to intertwine all our ideas into the beautiful wedding it was - even with me living 1,200 miles away! It was especially great to have her take over the communication and coordination between vendors to ensure no details were missed. And, believe me, there are so many crazy details that only someone as gifted as Ellen would know to cover! She was so kind and helpful to my mother and I - meeting her at our venue before the wedding and speaking with me across the miles to make sure we were all on the same page. The weekend of the wedding, Ellen and her team felt more like great friends working hard to put on a spectacular event to honor the marriage of 2 people they'd known forever. From running around to find my seamstresses' instructions for my bustle to ensuring my new husband and I had a nice spot to relax, eat and have a few toasts as a newlywed couple together prior to the reception beginning, Ellen had it covered! Throughout the planning process and wedding weekend, I always received a positive, calming vibe while working with Ellen - which is very important to any bride! I would definitely recommend working with Ellen Thomas Event Design to help you pull off a beautiful beginning to your happily ever after! -

The best of the best
We selected the partial planning , which was the second to highest package. I never once felt as if they weren’t there for absolutely everything even without the full package purchased. The absolute best of the best !! Ellen , Kate, and the team made the entire wedding planning experience more fun and stress free than I could’ve ever imagined. They are all so sweet and work so hard 24/7 to ensure we had the best day of our lives. It doesn’t matter what you pay these girls - it’s not enough! Worth every penny and more! -

I cannot recommend Ellen Thomas Event Design enough! Maddie and Ellen went above and beyond to make our wedding day perfect. They answered our questions so quickly and never made us feel like we were crazy for asking so many questions. They have a great relationship with vendors in Oxford which made everything so easy. We will forever be thankful for all of their help! -

Hiring ETED was one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding! Ellen and her team made the process seamless from day one! Scheduling vendor meetings, keeping our checklist going and making sure we had everything we needed done helped us tremendously! Having Maddie the day of directing made it even better. Not to mention the friendships we created with the girls at ETED! We are so thankful for them! -

I highly recommend ETED in Oxford, MS! Maddie worked with us the week prior to my daughter's wedding, and she and Ellen's team were lifesavers. Their professionalism and calming presence throughout the weekend assured us that everything was taken care of with efficiency. Our wedding weekend could not have occurred without ETED! I truly cannot thank Maddie and her team enough for catering to all of our needs throughout the whole wedding planning process. They did not miss a beat! From the constant emails, texts, questions that I asked them (even on a sunday!!) they always answered super quickly and with extreme detail. Planning a wedding out of state can be a bit nerve racking but Maddie and the team at Ellen Thomas Event Design made the process feel so much better! If you are needing a top notch event planner for your next even I 100% recommend them!! -

I’m from Nashville and my son got married in Taylor MS on graduation weekend for Ole Miss (15 min away). Ellen made this weekend seamless and effortless for us. She navigated the nightmare traffic and hotel rooms in oxford and logistics of getting guests to and from the SEVEN events we hosted and we hosted many since there were no restaurants available. Bridesmaid luncheon, welcome dinner for out of towners, rehearsal dinner, post toast, girls lunch and mens lunch both on Saturday, wedding, reception and after party. It was a weekend full of perfectly executed events. I could not have done it without Ellen.
She allowed me to throw in crazy wedding mom ideas like ordering chairs that we could find to rent and trading out with rental company and making a graceful balance between bride, mother-in-law and mom. She is professional, never gets ruffled and has a beautiful smile at all times. She’s the best❣️ -

ETED made wedding planning the most fun and seamless process! I had so much fun brainstorming with Maddie and Ellen and they truly have an eye for making a show stopping event! A Beautiful Experience
Ellen is the definition of a professional event planner. She did such an amazing job planning my wedding and our welcome party. She is so easy to communicate with and she is just SO kind. She leads you through all the steps, makes it clear when you need to get things done and decisions made. I would recommend using Ellen for ANY event you have - she will make it one to remember!

The team were very easy to work with and quick to think of things I might have forgotten. The day of my son’s rehearsal dinner I felt confident in not being there because from load in, set up and take down they never left!! Love them!! -

Ellen Thomas Event Design…what can I say??? If you’re on the fence about using this company, go for it! You will not regret it! Professionalism at its best…these women strive to make the most perfect day/night for their clients. I did the rehearsal dinner package, and I’d do it again everyday of the week and twice on Sunday!! Just the best!! Every question was answered timely. Every problem had a solution (not many problems though!) -
