Best Cake Ever!

The cake was beautiful and delicious. It honestly might be the best cake I've ever tasted. The vanilla cake with buttercream icing and raspberry mousse was unreal. I highly recommend purchasing your wedding cake here.

Best wedding cake we could have asked for

My husband and I had the pleasure of hiring Ella’s Cakes for our wedding. My guests were in awe of how good the cake tasted. Not only was the cake delicious but it was absolutely gorgeous! Lexie took my vision and made it a reality. I could not have asked for a more beautiful delicious tasting cake.

Absolutely Delicious!!

We chose Ella's Cakes to make our wedding cake and I'm so incredibly happy that we did! It was hands-down the best cake that I have ever had! We chose a golden vanilla cake with raspberry filling and vanilla bean mousse topped with buttercream frosting and it was absolutely incredible!! Everyone kept talking about how amazing it was! Daniella made the entire process so easy and was such a pleasure to work with! I would absolutely recommend her to everyone!!

Beautiful and Delicious Wedding Cake!

My husband and I got married at the Marco Beach Ocean Resort on May 5, 2019. A cake from Ella's Cakes came included in our wedding package. Daniella was a pleasure to work with. Very professional, kind, and communicative. I wish we could have met her in person to thank her. Our cake was incredibly beautiful and far exceeded our expectations! We chose the "wedding white" flavor, with a vanilla bean mousse center, and Ella's buttercream frosting and it was TO DIE FOR. Everyone loved it! If you're looking for a beautiful, delicious, unforgettable wedding cake, look no further than Ella's Cakes!

The best cake ever

Daniella was fantastic and the cake she made us was absolutely delicious. So many of my guests were commenting on how amazing the cake was and everyone went back for seconds! Not only do her cakes look absolutely stunning from the outside, but they are just as great tasting as they look. We had chosen chocolate with raspberry ganache, chocolate mousse, and fresh raspberries for one layer, and the bottom layer was a wedding white with coconut cream filling and a separate key lime filling. People were simply raving about it, so much so that there was none left at the end of the HOUR to freeze for next year! Planning on hiring her again to make an anniversary cake next time we are in Florida. To top it off (literally) the smaller portion/top of the cake was a gluten free pound cake consistency that is just as good as any other GF cake, if not better. Thank you for working with us and creating such a delicious and beautiful treat for us and our guests. Highly, highly recommend.

Beautiful and Delicious

Ella's Cakes was an option given to us by our venue as part of our wedding package. I emailed Daniella to let her know we wanted something simple with flowers and sent a few pictures. Closer to the day of, we spoke on phone and I selected cake and icing flavors. A few days before the wedding, we decided to mix it up and change the flavors (I had chosen boring/plain and Daniella suggested something a little more exciting).

When we saw the cake it was exactly what I had visioned and looked perfectly beautiful - it tasted even better!!!!!!!!!! We served the bottom layer (yellow cake with raspberry filling and white chocolate icing) at the wedding and every single guest commented how delicious it was. Since we were traveling and didn't know if the cake would make it home with us we served the top layer (chocolate with dark chocolate and raspberry filling and white chocolate icing) at brunch the next day. Once again it was delicious.

We were very happy with Ella's Cakes!!!!!!

Professional, Responsive, Delicious all at a great price

Daniella was absolutely amazing! When I looked for vendors I looked for responsive companies. Daniella was extremely responsive. Along with being responsive the cake was delicious at a very reasonable price! The cake was everything I imagined - beautiful and delicious! Ella's cakes has a great variety of flavors to choose from. Ella's cakes is extremely reliable I was no worried at all about the cake showing up. If you are searching for a place to order your cake I would look to farther, hire Ella's Cakes and i promise you, you will not regret it.

Beautiful and amazingly delicious wedding cake!!! Couldn't be happier and the taste totally exceeded expectations!! Tropical flavors...2 kinds of cake...wedding white cake with key lime cream and carrot cake with cream cheese! The whole cake is edible, even the beautiful shells!! Daniella was a delight to work with as well! Highly recommend! Our date was 5/26/18

What can I say other than amazing and way beyond anything we expected. Our wedding cake was a work of art, the sketches shown in the previous meetings did not do the final product justice. Our cake was just stunning and I can’t stop looking at it. We originally got the cake just for the look since we were doing a different dessert but our guest loved the cake so much that they all requested it and every slice was gone by the end of the night. I am so happy with our choice and will definitely use Ella’s in the future for other events.

Daniella did a wonderful job making our cake and was easy and lovely to work with! Our cake with Ella's Cakes was a part of our package at LaPlaya Beach & Golf Resort in Naples, however we did our tasting and cake planning directly with Daniella. Daniella was flexible with our availability for the tasting, as we needed to get our tasting done within a long weekend time frame. We landed on a lemon zested white cake with key lime filling and buttercream icing - perfect for our beachy/nautical-inspired wedding. It was delicious! We worked with Daniella to design the cake, notified our florists (Lyfe of the Party) that we would need some flowers, and they all took it from there and worked together to produce the final product. It looked beautiful and simple, just like I wanted it. Thank you, Daniella! We cannot wait to eat our cake again on our 1-year anniversary!

Ella was awesome and our cake was absolutely delicious. We did our tasting really early because we were excited and Ella worked with us really nicely with that. She did our cake perfectly and really listened to everything we wanted to incorporate. I even added a grooms cake at the last minute and she was really easy to work with on it and helped work with me to get what I wanted while staying within my budget.

Ella's cakes are simply the best. They are truly gorgeous, delicious and we were so proud to have the honor of working with Daniella. She is a true professional and extremely gifted in what she does. For my daughter's wedding, Ella made the wedding cake and a groom's cake. The groom's cake was made from a picture that the groom had given to her of a Porsche- his favorite car. The cake looked just like the picture with all of the intricate designs and German words. Daniela is a master of her occupation. She is simply the best.

My guests could not say enough about how delicious our cake was!! I couldn't stop eating it and look forward to having it again on our first anniversary! I did a destination wedding so I planned the whole thing over the phone and it turned out perfect!! We had marble cake with buttercream - the buttercream was the best I have ever had!

Our wedding cake was gorgeous, delicious, and fresh! We had two different flavors for our guests to enjoy, which they did! I highly recommended Ella's! You will not be disappointed!

Our wedding cake was perfect thanks to Daniella. We had a double flavored cake - coconut with key lime and lemon poppy seed. We also decided to surprise my parents with a cake to celebrate their 65th anniversary at our reception – Daniella recommended the golden vanilla with raspberry preserves, raspberry mousse and fresh raspberries. Both cakes were beautiful and delicious and everyone raved about them! She was great to work with and I would highly recommend her!

The design of our cake was gorgeous. I wanted something ornate but still elegant, and Daniella nailed it! She was the only bakery we could find that would bake and deliver a cakemail on this holiday weekend. On top of that, she personally delivered our cake the morning of our wedding even though she herself was in a wedding later that day! Daniella is excellent!

Our wedding cake not only looked fantastic but tasted even better. I have been to MANY weddings where the cake isn't anything to write home about but that's not the case with Daniella and Ella's Cakes. Her cakes are beautiful and SO tasty! Daniella nailed it! Her cakes are both beautiful and delicious! She has such a variety of options guaranteed to please the most discerning palates. She is friendly and professional - a pleasure to work with. My only regret is that we didn't start with her cake before the meal!

Absolutely delicious! We did an almond cake with strawberry mousse for one layer, and a banana cake with hazelnut ganache and chocolate mousse for the other. Each was splendid. Cake was beautiful, tasty buttercream frosting. Highly recommend!

Daniella was an absolute professional and extremely easy to work with. When a wedding vendor "gets it" they just do. And you can usually tell this right away. This is exactly how we felt when we met Daniella for the first time. Her place of business is gorgeously decorated with style and class and her cake was absolutely divine! Needless to say, our wedding cake was executed beautifully and exactly what I had pictured. Everyone absolutely LOVED the flavor and taste! Only problem was that our wedding was a destination wedding and then we went straight onto our honeymoon in Aruba.......We wanted MORE of that delicious cake! ;)

Daniella at Ella's cakes did a spectacular job with our wedding cake. There are some wonderful bakeries in Naples but we were absolutely in love with her cakes and the icing (which I am very particular). We chose a chocolate cake with chocolate mousse and fresh strawberry filling for the large tier. Then vanilla cake with key lime filling for the 2 smaller tiers. We (and our guests) were in love with the cake. She did beautiful sugared starfish, sand to surround (graham cracker crumbs) and fresh coral rose accents. We also chose to do a small 7" grooms cake for our sports themed cake topper which was also adorable. Go to Ella's and try her cakes!

Without a doubt a 5 star vendor!! As we initially began our wedding planning the wedding cake truly was not an essential on our list of 'must-haves' for our wedding day. My (now) husband was unable to attend the cake testing we arranged with Ella's but she allowed my mom to join and packed a little to-go plate for me to take to my groom to check out after we narrowed down our options. When we saw and tasted the Key Lime cake it was beyond perfect! Florida, casual, classic and so unique. Our guests loved the lime slices and graham cracker "sand" details. Communication was flawless & always on point. All around a great experience.

Our wedding cake was perfect thanks to Daniella. We had a double flavored cake. The top two layers were a vanilla cake with a passion fruit filling. The bottom layer was a chocolate cake with a hazelnut filling and chocolate ganache. Our guest would not stop complimenting our cake. It also looked beautiful! Daniella is great to work with and her cakes are delicious! Our venue contracts with her to provide the cakes for weddings. We came in for a tasting and were blown away by her cakes, fillings and buttercream. We decided to go with the white wedding cake with key lime and pistachio filings and a simple butter cream icing. One of our guests has a gluten allergy and she was able to make the top layer of our cake gluten free for her. She even made a separate 4 inch cake for us to take home. We can not wait to eat it again in a year. You and your guests will not be disappointed by Daniella's cakes!

Our Wedding Planner recommended Ella's Cakes to us. From beginning to end Daniella was very nice, helpful and always responsive to our needs and requests. She made us a beautiful 3 tier cake as well as a second cake for the back to cut to serve the rest of our guests. She listened to my design ideas and worked with us during the tasting to create our own unique cake flavor pairings and a different flavor for the extra cake to add more variety! The cake was very important to me and both cakes were absolutely delicious! We received numerous compliments on how delicious the cake was and how they have never tasted a better wedding cake. We ended up taking extra cake home and our families devoured it the next night for dessert.

We also were able to rent our cake stand from her which went perfectly and was a big help to our budget. We will definitely be asking using Ella's Cakes in the future for our anniversary cakes and any other special events. I would definitely recommend her to others!

Daniella is beyond amazing!! I dont even have the right words to describe her and her talents. She made us the most stunning cake EVER!!! She drew us a picture, described it and it was exactly how we wanted it, down to the very last detail. She kept in touch with me the whole time we were wedding planning and always responded to me right away. Daniella is just the sweetest person to work with and does amazing things with cake and her designs! She has the most perfect flavors to choose from as well. I would recommend her for ANY occasion you need a cake and we will definitely be ordering more cakes from her in the future. Thank you for the most special cake ever!

Ella's Cakes was so flexible and accommodating for our daughter's wedding. We contacted her only three weeks before the wedding date. She came highly recommended by some recently married friends who were thrilled with their wedding cake. Daniella had a wealth of knowledge and expertise and presented several options after seeing my daughter's ideas. The end result was far better than we had imagined! Not only was it a show stopper, but the cake was deliciously perfect from the butter cream icing, to the white chocolate mousse filling to the moist vanilla layers! It was heaven in our mouths!

Truly an amazing wedding cake. Three tiers, each a different flavor and each one as delicious as the next. Our guests raved about the quality. Ella is an exceptional baker and we recommend her cakes with highest regards. We would most certainly use her again.

Daniella did a WONDERFUL job of making a Game of Thrones cake for the groom's cake at my wedding. The cake topper was the iron throne and she did "blood" running down the sides of the cake - had so many compliments on the creativity of it. The top layer of our cake was foam for show purposes and the bottom was chocolate cake with peanut butter icing - a great combo.
Daniella was great about communicating on email, was able to give us the cake at 8:15 on a Saturday to make sure it was as fresh as possible for our wedding, and was great at fitting me into her schedule relatively close to the wedding. Thank you for making my groom surprised and HAPPY! :)

Forget the beautiful decoration which was amazing! Ella's cakes are DELICIOUS! From the cake to the fillings and the frosting! Finger licking good. If you are a cake lover's like us. You have to have a cake from Ella's Cakes!

Daniella is amazing, her cakes are just a reflection of how much she loves what she does. And boy does she takes pride on her work! We wanted a non-conventional decoration for our cake and Daniella nailed it from just a picture I show her!

The cake was both delicious & beautiful! Daniella was able to take my very simple ideas and incorporate it with intricate detailed sugar flowers that cascaded down the cake! We could barely decide on two flavors for the cake so as a surprise to my groom she did a fabulous FSU cake that we had at our rehearsal dinner with our 3rd favorite flavor! I can't believe how good hear cakes are! We used Ella's cakes for our wesding because frankly they were part of the package. We had different flavors in each tier and we asked the staff to pack us a hunk of the chocolate with peanut butter mouse filling to go. We ate it on our honeymoon for 5 days!!! It was soo delicious that I emailed Daniele to see if I can have one shipped to Nj! It will certainly be an anniversary tradition!

I have never been to a wedding where I've heard more compliments about the cake and am THRILLED that mine got such amazing feedback. Daniella is a master and her buttercream designs are fantastic. We were so indecisive that we included 3 different flavors of cake in our design. The ONLY complaint I heard was that some people didn't realize there were other flavors so they didn't get to try all three. We did and it was delicious.

We came to Daniella a little late, just two weeks before our wedding. We had a great time at the tasting (nothing like good cake for dinner :-)). The cake was beautiful as it was delicious. The buttercream is smooth and just sweet, not sweet and gritty like I've tasted before. Besides a great cake at a great price, last minute, delivered right on time, with special attention to detail. Love, love, love, Ella's Cakes! Daniella did a wonderful job on my wedding cake! I had a destination wedding in June 2011 she was easily accessible via email which worked for me during my planning. I made a trip down in the fall prior to my wedding for tasting, she had all kinds of pieces for me to try with all kinds of different varieties to combine. When she told me she could do peanut butter she sold me, then I tasted it; I was in heaven!

Not only did she do my wedding cake, but she agreed to do a personal cake for my mama, she her birthday was the same day as my wedding. And my future brother in law and sister in law's 5 year wedding anniversary was the day before my wedding and she provided me with a beautiful/fun/and great tasting cake for me to give them at my rehearsal dinner for us all to enjoy and celebrate their 5 years as well!

Daniella is extremely accommodating with amazing talent! My husband and I went back to Florida for our anniversary and she made a replica of our wedding cake only smaller for us and it tasted as it did on our wedding day!

I am not a cake/dessert kind of person and I would eat this cake any day! Everyone mentioned to me still to this day that they have never tasted a cake like they did at my wedding!

If you are getting married in Florida and want not only a great looking cake but one that tastes amazing too, Ella's cakes is the place to go!

Daniella makes beautiful cakes and they taste amazing. She is very popular in the southwest Florida area due to her outstanding reputation. I contacted her in August for our November wedding date, and she was almost completely booked for the year. She was able to squeeze my cake in, and I am so happy she did! I asked for a non traditional wedding cake and Ella's delivered! I asked for a cake that looked like a Swamp for our Swamp themed wedding and they made a Swamp! Complete with cattails, alligators, snakes, butterflies, dragonflies, and more! It tasted as amazing as it looked! And they met me at their shop after hours to let me pick it up. I had a destination wedding at Naples Bay Resort and Ella's Cakes was one of their preferred vendors.

I loved her website and the photos of her cakes. We decided from that we have her make the cake.

It was so much fun trying the different kind of cakes and planning what the cake would look like. We wanted a beach theme cake but not a cheesy looking beach theme cake or at least I did not want cheesy. The end result was fabulous.

Guest could not get enough of the cake. It was so light and refreshing. How many times do you ever use those words for cake.

I would highly recommend the Lemon poppy seed cake with Key lime filing. Absolutely delish!

Ella's Cakes is the cake provider for Marco Beach Ocean Resort catering. We worked directly with Ella's Cakes for the design, flavors, etc. and it turned out great! We had a small two tier cake, so we chose two different flavors with filling (chocolate cake w/peanut butter filling & vanilla cake w/strawberry mousse filling), and I don't know what she puts in her buttercream, but it just might the best I've ever tasted. Daniella was so great from day one working with us on designs, concepts, and flavors. I have a horrible Gluten allergy. Ella's Cakes created elegant wedding cakes for my vintage glam wedding.

I decided to have multiple wedding cakes on display. My husband and I sat down with Daniela to decide on the flavor and looked through many different designs. She was so patient and helped us work through the various details.

The wedding cakes were FABULOUS! Needless to say we all enjoyed dessert and had some leftover. The next day we had more cake served for our post wedding brunch. The kids loved it!

My favorite was the sugar flower that matched the decor and theme of vintage glam!!

Who else, but Daniella, would say yes to making a Superman Rice Krispie treat groom's cake, and make it look spectacular? The wedding cake was also stellar - we had a buttercream cake with layers of red velvet as well as lemon cake with raspberry mousse. When I was researching where to get our wedding cake from, I wanted to make sure that whoever did it not only made it beautiful but that the cake was delicious too. When I met Daniella, she was so friendly and easy going. She had all the tastings prepared with several different varieties of cake, fillings and icings. The flavors were just outstanding and the cake was so moist. My mom and I even had a hard time deciding what flavors to go with because everything was so delicious! When Daniella and I discussed design, I had a picture of what I wanted the cake to look like. I just emailed it to her and then she coordinated the florals for the cake with our florist. The day of the wedding, the cake was absolutely beautiful and was such a showpiece. It looked exactly like the picture I sent her. Not only was it beautiful but it was incredibly scrumptious! Our guests raved about the cake, saying that it was possibly the best wedding cake they had every had. That was for sure what we wanted! Daniella did an amazing job and we were so pleased with our wedding cake!!

P.S. The cake was so amazingly delicious that my husband and I took part of the topper with us on our honeymoon so that we could enjoy it :)

Amazing cake! Daniella worked with us to create a custom design that was exactly what we were looking for. We had a wedding white cake with a vanilla custard and fresh strawberry filling. We chose to do a butter cream frosting because we don't like the taste of fondant and were expecting to loose style as a result. We didn't though! Daniella was amazing to work with and although we changed out minds on the design a couple of times, she was so professional and easy to work with, offering her expert advice when choosing out final design. We went to a couple of tastings and chose the perfect cake, complete with gorgeous sugar flowers cascading down the sides and places just perfectly all over or cake. It looked absolutely gorgeous and was such a piece of art that we didn't even want to cut it! Our guests were blown away with the flavors and incorportated fresh fruit. The cake was absolutely gorgeous and so tasty! We got so many compliments about how fabulous the cake was, but wish that there were some leftovers for us to enjoy :-)

Daniella was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Our cake was gorgeous. She did a fantastic job with the grooms cake and everything tasted SOOOOOOOO good. I would recommend her to ANYONE. She was so sweet when we met her and she did everything beyond our expectations! THANK YOU!

Daniella is so talented. Her cakes are gorgeous and taste delicious. She has so many options to choose from and is so flexible with what you want as well. She is different in that she actually cares about her clients and creates a cake that reflects that.

Shes great for any occasion!! Would recommend to anyone. Best in Naples.

We used Ella's Cakes through the La Playa Beach & Golf Resort for our wedding cake. The three tier cake was not only beautiful but also tasted amazing. We couldn't decide which flavor we loved more- the almond butter cream, lemon poppy or the chocolate ganache with fresh raspberries. Not only was the cake delicious, but it was absolutely beautiful. Daniella was so wonderful to work with and she is so talented. Thank you Daniella for making us our dream wedding cake.

Holy AMAZING!!!! Ella's Cakes made us the most delicious cake ever! Daniella was so nice and easy to work with!! My fiancé and I went into her shop, browsed cakes she had done in the past, and she let us sample cake options. We went with a white cake, with a hazelnut mousse and a layer of chocolate ganache...YUM! It tasted like Nutella, which went perfectly with our Cuban-Italian wedding! I told her the colors and design I wanted for the cake, and she hit the nail on the head!!

Thank you so much, Daniella! We will definitely be using Ella's Cakes for parties in the future!!

Ella's Cakes made the cake for our wedding, as part of a package at Marco Beach Ocean Resort, and it was wonderful! We chose a very simple design, and it was very elegant. Most importantly, it tasted fabulous! She was willing to try out 'funfetti', and it was really perfect with the casual feel of our wedding. We highly recommend Ella's Cakes!

She made the perfect cake for us. Not only was it delicious it was absolutely gorgeos. We really did not want to cut into it!!! It was a beach themed wedding and she used real shells and lightly dusted them with silver food coloring and they looked amazing!!! I highly recommend her as she was very insightfull and made lots of suggestions in helping us pick out our cake.

Our wedding cake was absolutely gorgeous! We went with the wedding white and had a light chocolate filling. 6 weeks later I am still hearing our guests talking about our cake. We are from PA and got married in Naples on May 7th, 2011. Being from out of state we were so pleased with our choice of Ella's Cakes!

They did an amazing job on our wedding cake! They also did a cake for our welcome party the night before our wedding as a last minute add on that was amazing. On short notice they not only decorated exactly how I wanted it but also delivered it to the venue. The extra service they provided for me really meant a lot!!

Ella's Cakes is amazing! We received our wedding and groomscake from Daniella and they were wonderful! Beautifully made, elegant and simple---just the way I had wanted. She is so sweet, professional, and easy to work with. Upon our initial meeting there was some confusion as to our consultation date. Despite this, Daniella dropped everything to meet with me and my crew for a cake tasting and consultation. She was wonderful. Beautiful, great tasting cakes and at a great price!

Our beautiful cakes received rave reviews from our guests! Daniella could not have been nicer and was very helpful in suggesting the perfect cake for our beach wedding. What really impressed me was that she made a separate eggless cake for us because my husband is allergic to eggs -- very thoughtful!

Daniella did an excellent job with our cake. My Mom was so impressed by the way it turned out. It was not only beautiful, but delicious as well. My guests are still talking about how good the cake was. I have been to many weddings where the cake was pretty, but dry and stale.

Our cake was so moist, and in fact the leftover cake was moist for several days later. I just loved the key lime filling we chose.

We will definitely use Daniella with Ella's Cakes again.

Daniella did such an amazing job on my cake. It came out perfect! It looked exactly how I imagined it would and it was delicious!! I had to do everything with her on the phone or by email because I was out of state. I did not even taste the cake before hand, but everyone, including my husband and me, loved it!

Daniella provided wonderful service and a great cake. When we went for our tasting she had so many choices to choose from- in which all were great. Our wedding cake looked beautiful and tasted great. I have worked with Ella's Cakes on two different occasions, Daniella designed a cake for me based on a picture I brought her 2 days before my birthday. She was ready and willing to design my three tiered creation at the drop of a hat and had it ready for me the day of my birthday! When it came time for my wedding cake I knew that Daniella Palumbo of Ella's Cakes was the one for the job. She worked with my fiance and I about 5 times as we were very indecisivie and changed our cake design several times. After my fiance finally sat down with a sketch book and some pencils he designed our dream wedding cake. Not only do her cakes taste absolutely fresh, amazing, and decadent, they look absolutely phenomenal!!!!! She makes anything you can dream of out of sugar!!!!! On our wedding day the cake was one of the only things that looked exactly as I had pictured it, or drew it. She literallt took my fiance's drawing and brought it to life.
Our four tiered creation cost us $1,300.00, which is a tad more than we were hoping to spend, however the cake was covered in fondant, had 12 sugar orchids custom made for us, and each tier is significantly larger than your average bakery!! Plus I would pay any amount for the delicious flavor of her cake.
Daniella Plaumbo of Ella's Cakes is absolutely amazing and I plan to work with her for many future events!!!

Oh the cake! I'm still blown away by my wedding cake. Daniella is a true expert! I brought her a photo out of a magazine that I knew should be our cake. She was comfortable and confident with the design even though the flower decoration on the cake was a first. We chose our flavor(s) wedding white cake with a key lime creme and fresh raspberry preserve on the first layer and vanilla bean mouse with fresh raspberries on the next layer. When I walked into our reception venue and saw our cake I was almost brought to tears, it was PERFECT!!!!!! My guests could not stop talking about the way it looked and then they tasted it :) every guest was blown away by how delicious the cake was, and how every flavor was present on it's own, and then beautifully worked together in one bite. My decision to use Ella's was the right one, I will be recommending her as much as I can!
