Best of the best!!!
I will truly never stop recommending Elizabeth to anyone planning a wedding!! She was the very first vendor I spoke with when I started planning, and from that moment on, she set the bar incredibly high for everyone else.
She is everything you could possibly want in a photographer—professional, organized, and unbelievably talented—while also being the ultimate hype girl you didn’t even know you needed. She strikes the perfect balance of structured and detail-oriented, yet flexible and genuinely attentive to your vision.
From our very first meeting to receiving our final wedding album (and every moment in between), working with Elizabeth was an absolute dream. She made us feel so comfortable, confident, and completely taken care of throughout the entire process.
I will forever be grateful that our paths crossed, and I truly cannot wait for her to continue capturing the most special milestones in our lives for years to come.

Other than choosing each other as life partners, my husband and I believe that choosing Elizabeth as our photographer was one of the best decisions we made for our Fall 2025 wedding in Blackwater, MO! From the beginning, Elizabeth was a kind and knowledgeable presence, expert, and listening ear. She provided us with ample information and resources– even including outfit and location recommendations for our engagement session– and was so communicative and easy to talk to when we still managed to have questions. Her talent and craft first blew us away with our engagement session where we had so much fun and felt fully comfortable being ourselves, and you can see that in the many, many, many pictures she captured. She was monumental in our wedding planning process where she took the time to be tedious, detail-oriented, and willing to problem solve as we worked together to build the wedding timeline (I got so many compliments after our wedding about the organization of our day, and I truly believe that those were due to Elizabeth!). Throughout the entire process, she made us feel excited and like our wedding was the only one on her plate, all while we knew she was juggling many other couples simultaneously and likely making them feel the same. In looking through our wedding album, we can see how Elizabeth brought our wedding day to life and captured the sweet moments that we’d never remember if it weren’t for her and the raw emotions that she’ll continually allow us to feel over and over again. She has a heart for her couples, ears for the important aspects of what makes them them, and an eye for the details that bring those aspects to life. We hired Elizabeth to photograph our August 2025 wedding at The Hawthorne House in Parkville, and she was absolutely wonderful to work with. From the start, she brought both professionalism and creativity, capturing our day in a way that felt natural, joyful, and beautifully detailed.
She was also incredibly helpful during the planning process; her experience helped us refine our timeline so everything ran smoothly, and we were able to get every photo we hoped for (and more). On the wedding day, she had an amazing eye for lighting, location, and those candid, emotional moments that made the photos feel truly special.

If you are looking to find someone who is incredibly thoughtful, talented, hard-working, and truly someone whose passion can be seen through their craft, look no further, because Elizabeth is truly the best of the best and in my opinion a leader in the industry! When we met is was completely by random, but wow are we beyond blessed that this world brought her love into our life!! I truly mean it when I say that I feel like we could not have planned this wedding, made our timeline, or really accomplished everything we did on our wedding day and in our wedding weekend if it was not for Elizabeth! For our engagement shoot this woman hiked miles up mountains for the right shot, she encourages the best in you and your partner and makes it so easy to take photos and have so much fun, letting you be yourself while also giving you suggestions and nudges if she thinks of something or sees something or even if you just ask!! She is so responsive and understanding and accommodating when putting together shot lists, putting together family photos, bridal party photos, understanding that some people have big families, big bridal parties, small bridal parties, complicated family dynamics, this woman knows it all and does it all so well, it is so impressive watching her work and knowing you can relax because she has it all covered all day. She will make sure to let you know where you have wiggle room, grabbing you when you need to be grabbed, and even if you are running behind, she gets it all in masterfully and really listens to everything you want and does her best to make sure that every little detail you ask for is something that you get on your special day. She is there from start to finish, her leadership, her efficiency, I am not sure there are words enough to truly describe or recommend enough what it means to have someone like Elizabeth as your photographer. She does more than just taking a photo, she captures these genuine memories and moments that when you look back on your photos, it doesn't feel staged, it feels like a hug wrapped in love that will last forever, which is a rare thing to find in a human and in a wedding vendor it just makes every memory from your day that much more special. AND THE PHOTOS!!!!! Good luck choosing even just a few dozen, they all end up looking like an art gallery hall worthy of forever being viewed. You can tell the time and energy and genuine thought and pure love that she pours into every photo, they are really works of art that we just feel lucky enough to be portrayed in, and she makes sure at the end of the day you look back at these photos and they aren't just another item on your checklist, but that they are something that you can truly cherish for all of the years of love to come. She is a true professional and will bless your wedding day should you choose her, I know that we will be using her for years to come in all photoshoots that we need because she becomes your friend, your confidant, and so much more. Elizabeth is truly the best!!! Not only is she an amazing photographer, but she is also an amazing friend. She made us feel so comfortable and at peace. My husband can get a little camera shy, but he felt comfortable to come out of his shell around her for photos. We loved her desire to get to know us as people and her communication was amazing. Already by seeing a couple photos, I cannot wait to see all of them! She captures images in a way that is so real and special, and I couldn't think of anyone better to entrust our wedding day to!!! -

The Most Amazing Photographer!
My husband and I are so beyond happy that we used Elizabeth Ladean Photography for our engagement and wedding photos! Both sets of photos came out fabulously.....they were exactly what I wanted and beautifully captured our relationship and special day. Everyone who has seen them has absolutely loved them. And we can't say enough good things about working with Elizabeth as our photographer. She was one of our very favorite vendors for our wedding....a complete professional. Her communication and the resources and information she provided us were exceptional. During our engagement photoshoot her energy was amazing and she was great at giving us detailed instructions and making the whole process fun. During the wedding, she was even more amazing....high energy yet calm and positive She captured all of the shots we could have possibly wanted. She was also great at interacting with our families (who are sometimes hard to wrangle!). Hiring Elizabeth was definitely one of the best choices we made for our wedding and I know we will treasure the photos she captured forever. -

My husband and I got married Nov 2022 and had the BEST experience with Elizabeth and her photography. We had a pretty small wedding, but knew we wanted to splurge a bit on the one thing that would last decades (i.e. photos!). From the first email she sent, to the follow up communication MONTHS after the wedding, Elizabeth has been amazing in everything. We chose her smallest package and were astounded with how many high quality photos we received.
Elizabeth was prompt with communication, flexible with our wants, and well worth the price!!! Should we need pictures for something in the future, we will definitely go back to her with confidence. -

Elizabeth was absolutely incredible. From the very first phone call to getting our wedding album, she's been so amazing and made us feel so comfortable. We wanted a photographer who had the ability to guide us into the perfect positions/poses for both our engagement and wedding photos that looked natural & she nailed that aspect. Not only are her photos beautiful, but Elizabeth helped create a wedding day timeline, managed our big groups of friends & family, and worked seamlessly with our other vendors - especially our videographer. She truly felt like another wedding planner to help our day go as smooth as possible. I couldn't recommend Elizabeth enough. She's 100% worth the investment. Booking ELP was one of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning! -

Elizabeth- we cannot thank you enough!! From the initial phone call to the engagement session to the wedding- you knocked it out of the park! We are IN LOVE with our photos, seriously, they are PHENOMENAL! To anyone reading this review- if you're considering Elizabeth as your photographer, just do it. She is so incredibly sweet and friendly, has CRAZY GOOD talent for taking photos that capture the moment and your love for your partner. She had a ton of recommendations for us for vendors which came in clutch as we were planning the wedding from afar. (We didnt live in the city our venue was in.) We used the engagement album she made us as our wedding guestbook which folks thought was so neat!! (Elizabeth's idea- again, she is a genius!!) Our family was extremely impressed with the photos and we are really excited to print and frame some here soon! Elizabeth, thank you again for making our special day so perfect. I cannot explain how grateful we were to find & hire Elizabeth. She is the ultimate package as a photographer from day 1. She strives to get to know her couples on a personal level, lives in the moment, & is an ultimate communicator. She was by my side through the whole wedding planning process. She helped with everything from choosing engagement photo outfits to helping schedule out the whole wedding day. Elizabeth knows A LOT about the wedding industry and is generous enough to share that knowledge through the whole process. I was able to enjoy my wedding day because of her organization & implementation even in the midst of COVID-19. Elizabeth was truly amazing in every aspect! From the beginning, we knew she was the perfect photographer for our wedding! Our final gallery was more than we could’ve dreamed of. Elizabeth captured us and our day perfectly and we can’t thank her enough for that!! We’ve laughed, cried, and laughed again going through our pics over and over! Elizabeth is hands down the best photographer out there! From our first meeting a little over a year before the wedding we knew immediately had to hire her. During the planning process Elizabeth made us feel super comfortable and eased our stresses during the pandemic. Our engagement session was perfect and she even helped us include our pups into the photos. The day of our wedding she was the calm that guided us throughout the day. She made us feel super comfortable in front of the camera and ensured we had fun taking them. We have gotten so many compliments on our engagement and wedding photos. We received our wedding gallery 7 weeks after the big day and couldn’t be happier! I am lucky to say Elizabeth has become a friend. 🤗 -

If you’re getting married, Elizabeth HAS to be your wedding photographer. She is so amazing!!! We are so so so thankful that we chose her to be apart of our big day. In the beginning of my wedding planning, I always said to myself and my now husband, that we are not cutting ourselves short on a photographer, because we will have these photos for the rest of our lives. We chose Elizabeth to be our photographer in 2018, and got married October of 2020. She consistently was reaching out to us before our wedding day making sure we were doing okay, asking if we needed any help with wedding planning, giving us timelines, and overall just updating us on the current COVID situation- sending all positive vibes to us! She does a complimentary engagement photo shoot in the package we purchased. We live out of town and Elizabeth was very flexible with us trying to figure a good time for our engagement photos. We did our engagement photos the same week as our wedding because of the pandemic, and I wouldn’t of wanted it any other way! She gives GREAT tips during the engagement session on how to pose and work around the camera. When it came to our wedding day, I would say from her tips & tricks, we felt so much more comfortable.
During our wedding day, Elizabeth was fun & energetic. We got our wedding photos back within 7 weeks and the gallery she provides, is very simple where we can just order straight from the website and download the album to wherever we want. I get A TON of compliments on my wedding photos and I got A TON of compliments the day after my wedding on how amazing she was with everybody. She took pictures of every detail we had on our wedding day. The day goes by so fast that I barely even remembered seeing a lot of my decor. But, with the photos she got, I will always have those to look back on.
You will not regret choosing her to be your wedding photographer! -

Elizabeth NEEDS to be your girl!! You will not be disappointed! When I was looking for a wedding photographer, with less than 6 months to go, I was super excited to find another blonde, coffee and cat loving lady! We had our first meeting over facetime and knew we HAD to have Elizabeth photograph our wedding! With the package we selected, we were able to take "engagement" photos 2 weeks prior to our wedding (thank you COVID-19). My husband and I weren't super confident going into our engagement session but by the end we were smiling and looking forward to more fun, photographing our wedding. At the end of our engagement session, my husband was telling me we needed to keep in touch with Elizabeth and have her photograph for us in the future, even before she shot our wedding! Then of course our wedding day was amazing and filled with love and laughter, and that is what Elizabeth captured perfectly! I honestly can't stop looking at our wedding photos! We asked Elizabeth to take our engagement photos knowing we wanted to show Kansas City as part of our story. From the beginning, her sweet personality showed through her emails where she was very responsive & helpful. She was extremely flexible & accommodating! We postponed our shoot due to weather- which she kept an eye on for us all day- and then when we decided to risk it an hour later, she was ready to go & met us on location within the hour. She helped make us feel comfortable in front of the camera, took the time to get to know us, and (best of all) delivered AMAZING photos over 2 weeks ahead of her normal turnaround! I met Elizabeth and immediately felt comfortable with her. She made me laugh and completely relaxed me about the wedding and photography process. At my engagement session she made my fiance and I feel at ease and we had so much fun with her! The engagement photos came out amazing so I knew she would come through on the big day. I definitely was NOT disappointed! She has such unique ways for us to pose and knew how to best capture the light! All the pictures she took were so light and airy, which I LOVE! Planning your wedding and all the decisions that need to be made can be overwhelming. Choosing Elizabeth to be our photographer was the easiest and best decision we made! Elizabeth is the greatest! Elizabeth is amazing and does such an incredible job! Our wedding photos turned out beautifully. We also purchased the wedding album and I can't stop looking at it. She did an amazing job pulling all our favorite photos together in such a seamless way. Not only is she a photographer, but she is a sounding board for a lot of your wedding day questions. We had our florist back out and I immediately went to her for suggestions on who she would use. She periodically checked in with us to see how we were doing, if we had any questions, and just to say how excited she was that our wedding day was getting closer.
My husband and I will definitely be using her in the future and recommending her to whoever needs a photographer. -

I spent so much time researching a perfect photographer for our wedding and I couldn't of picked anybody better! She exceeded all expectations I had. From engagement pictures to wedding day photos we were blown away! Two days after our wedding she posted our sneak peaks..We were so excited to see some of our pictures so soon! Elizabeth is so sweet and easy to work with. We got SO many compliments on our pictures. Elizabeth's style is amazing! I would highly recommend her! Since the first time I met Elizabeth, at a bridal event, she showed me nothing but compassion, kindness, and encouragement. Upon meeting her, my grandmother and I spoke about her the whole way home. We pondered back and forth and decided she should photograph my BIG DAY. After getting back in contact with Elizabeth, my now husband and I learned she had several other inquiries for their big day... Now we had to move fast!! We moved fast (sorry to the other couples- we knew who we wanted) and hired Elizabeth to capture one of our greatest days together and we could not be HAPPIER! Her spunk, attention to detail and just overall photography is exquisite! We are so incredibly grateful for the job she has done and would recommend her 50 times over. ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. She told us exactly how to pose for each picture all while encouraging us, making us feel comfortable and confident! She knows how to produce amazing photos. I personally love her photography style, our pictures are so gorgeous! They are natural and bright and creative! Aside from being an incredibly talented photographer, she is such a genuinely sweet person. She is interested in all her couples love stories. She treats you like good friends instead of just clients. She is the absolute best. Initially I looked into a couple of different photographers and she was the only one interested in our love story and getting to know us first, I was immediately sold for that reason alone. The real cherry on top is that she has the best prices around! This review doesn’t even do her justice. I can’t wait to work with her again for future family photos!

Just like other people have mentioned, we also knew that she was a perfect match for us the day we met. She is very friendly, charming and funny, and she will make you feel comfortable and help you enjoy every photo session. We became good friends and I was so excited every time I got to see her. It was our first time having a professional photographer capture the moments of the two of us and naturally I was nervous at first, but thanks to Elizabeth, I was able to have fun and look super natural in all the photos. I love her work and can literally look at them all day because they bring back all the good memories of the wedding day. I had a lot of our families and friends comment on how beautiful and perfect her work is as well. From communication to organization, Elizabeth has it down to an art (which was definitely needed for this bride).
