Renee was a delight to work with. She made sure my bar and makeup was perfect along with my bridal party. She made adjustments as needed and everything was perfect. Makeup and hair lasted all night - even when I was sweating at the reception. -

Renee and her team were so on top of everything! From reaching out with reminders of what was needed from me, to providing me with a service schedule and guidance for me and my party ahead of the day, to being right on schedule (and even ahead of it!) on the actual day - they were wonderful! My mom even asked last minute if they could add in one additional hair service than what we had booked, and they were able to squeeze in the service without anything feeling rushed or running behind. The flexibility and professionalism they exhibited were great! Everything was wonderful on my end, and I only heard great things from my bridesmaids and family members who also got services - everyone felt beautiful! As an example of the quality of their products and application as well, we had a very unfortunate situation happen on our wedding day (we had to put our dog down via video call from hours away immediately after our ceremony), so we were obviously very emotional. Despite crying much more than we had during our usual happy tears at the ceremony and having to wipe my face with Kleenex in a not-so-pretty way, my makeup still looked great hours later until I took it off! I'd highly recommend Renee and her team to anyone looking for quality makeup on their wedding day that holds up to extreme situations and still manages to look natural and not overdone! Thank you so much!! :) -

Renee and her team {Kisha} were amazing on my wedding day. They not only made me feel beautiful, but they also did hair and makeup for my mom and my Maid of Honor — and both of them loved their looks just as much as I did. Everything lasted all day {lasted after the rain during my ceremony}, the morning was relaxed and well-organized, and we all felt confident and stunning. I had a great experience working with Rachel, Leslie, and Joi from Elite Makeup and Hair for my wedding. I do not typically wear a lot of makeup, nor do much to style my hair, and Renee and our artists were so helpful and patient in helping me figure out a look that was both bridal and authentic to me. I made a lot of changes from the trial to the wedding day, and Rachel and Leslie listened, were flexible, offered their own ideas, and I was so happy with how everything turned out. Everyone else who received services looked beautiful too! Rachel, Leslie, and Joi were also lovely people, and helped my wedding morning feel relaxed and fun. I would definitely recommend them! -

Elite Make-Up and Hair (formerly Renee Locher Makeup and Hair) was wonderful to work with for our wedding! I was drawn to them because they promoted elegant and timeless beauty looks and the galleries showed many natural looks, which is what I desired as I wear minimal makeup (eyeliner and mascara only when I do wear makeup) for events. Renee was always so quick to respond to any questions I had and she was so helpful during the consultation process. I decided to have a hair and makeup trial and was so glad I did. I did an online video call with Renee to go over what I wanted and she was able to relay that to the artists before the trial. The artists were able to match the pictures I had submitted for the looks I wanted very well. There were one or two things I did not like during the trial, but I was able to discuss that with them during the trial and they came up with an alternative option which I loved.
My hair and makeup the day of my wedding was exactly what I wanted and I have never felt more beautiful in my life! The artists also did a fantastic job with my bridesmaids and family members who also received hair services from Rebecca and makeup services from Mimi. They were all so pleased with how we looked and Rebecca and Mimi were a joy to interact with the day of the event. They made the morning fun and all of our hair and make-up stayed in place the entire day. If there is anything else that comes up in my life that I want to have professional beauty services done for, Elite will be my first choice after the wonderful experience I had with them. I would highly recommend Elite Make-Up and Hair for any beauty services you might have! -

I absolutely loved having Elite Makeup and Hair for my wedding day hair services. Renee had excellent communication throughout the whole process, from booking the trial to the wedding day itself. I had Kisha as my hairstylist and she had the best energy and made sure me and my bridesmaids were all super happy with our looks. I received compliments on my hair all day long and it made my day even more special. I'm glad I came across Elite Makeup and Hair and would definitely recommend their services. -

Renee made booking hair and makeup so easy. She manages everything, is very informative, and asks you all the right questions so you can ensure every detail has been thought about and decided on.
I had Leslie do my hair and Kenji do my makeup, and they were both so amazing to work with . Very kind and genuine people who prioritized my bridesmaids, the mothers, and I feeling comfortable over everything else.
Don't be afraid to tell your artists what you do and don't like, because they know that everyone has a different style, and they genuinely want you to feel like your best self! -

OMG loved working with them! Renee is amazing...so detailed in her communication and she really does a great job of understanding what you want on your wedding day. Kisha was our makeup artist and Rebecca was our hair stylist. In short, they are literally the best hair and makeup team I have ever experienced. And....they listen to what you want, offer suggestions and deliver. They did amazing work on everyone...literally everyone in my bridal party was so impressed at how good they looked! A few were a little skeptical because they did not have positive experiences in the past. One said...she looked like a clown the last time her makeup was done lol. But all the girls LOVED their hair and makeup. One said she will pay for them to travel to her in Florida. And...they are just lovely kind people. I will 100% give my recommendation for this team any day to any person! -

After being referred to Renee from a friend's wedding and loving my hair as her bridesmaid I knew I had to book her for my wedding. Renee did a great job! The hair was exactly as we had discussed, even while including some hair extensions. It was a long day with lots of dancing....and my makeup and hair stayed all night long. She made me look and feel like the flawless bride I wanted to be. My mom and the entire wedding party were also all happy with their results! I would highly recommend Renee! -

Stunning work, perfectly professional, highly recommend!
Renee is the best! I was skeptical because I have never been happy when I have had my makeup professional done. I always felt like it looked unnatural and I hated that. Well, Renee was the OPPOSITE of that! She came for my hair and makeup trial and nailed it. We made tiny notes of things to change for the wedding day and she nailed it again. My children's (who were my bridesmaids) hair and makeup were are also so perfect.
She is very professional, warm, and engaging. She was a lovely person to have there on my wedding day and made me and my family feel so comfortable and beautiful. I cannot recommend her enough! -

She deserves way more than 5 stars!!!! I honestly can't say enough good things about Renee and her team!!! I felt the most beautiful I have ever felt in my entire life on my wedding day. All of my bridesmaids also looked incredible! I still can't get over how perfect everything turned out! I also really enjoyed working with Renee. She is extremely organized and I felt so confident that she was going to make everything perfect on my wedding day. She is also so sweet and calm and we had a lot of fun with her and her team the morning of the wedding. Another huge perk was that she came to my apartment for my makeup and hair trial! I have never heard of that before and it was so nice! I'm so happy I booked Renee and I will definitely be finding reasons to book her again in the future!!! Just absolutely amazing. -

I originally booked Renee for hair services only for myself, bridal party, and a few others. My hair trial based off a couple photos I sent and a convo before went fantastic. Later, I urgently needed make-up services after an already booked vendor couldn't make it anymore and she was so helpful in accommodating this! She reached out to Mimi Kuang immediately and everything was squared away before I could stress too much. They were both so organized the day of and I highly recommend them! -

I could not recommend Renee Locher Makeup and Hair more! From the first individual consultation to the makeup trial to my actual wedding day, everyone involved was so kind, courteous, very respectful (especially in terms of COVID), and a joy to talk to. They were incredibly receptive to any ideas and made sure my hair and makeup looked exactly as I'd always dreamed! Their whole team helped do mine and several of my bridesmaids and my mother's hair and makeup in a reasonable time and even made sure we had touch-up kits for later in the day. Love them and am so happy to have worked with them! -

Wonderful experience and beautiful work!
We got married October 2nd 2021. I absolutely loved working with Renee for my wedding day! I was so happy with the way my hair and make-up turned out. The hair and make up for my mother and bridesmaids was stunning. My skin is on the oilier side, so I was prepared to have to touch up throughout the day, but there was no need! Everything stayed in place, so touch ups were one less thing to worry about.
Renee and her team were also very professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and fun. Getting ready with them the morning of the wedding was stress free and relaxing. The end product for my hair and make-up was exactly what I had envisioned. I would highly recommend doing a trial with Renee if possible. She came super prepared and encouraged my input throughout the process.
I am very very happy with my experience with Renee! She is a wonderful choice for your special day! -

Renee's work is AMAZING! I wanted to try a vintage/old Hollywood look for my 2nd wedding reception, and Renee crafted a real showstopper! I don't think there are many artists with that level of skill, so I'm so glad I found Renee to sculpt the perfect look. I highly recommend. I admit, I cut it close to booking hair/makeup within a month before the wedding, but Renee responded SO quickly, got things scheduled that worked for us, and had amazing follow up and check ins. I got to work with Rachael and I felt really comfortable having her in person for the consult. not only did she listen to my hesitations for not going overboard, she 100% nailed it on my wedding day and I felt even more glamorous than ever. And, the fact that we hit it off and chatted about our favorite podcasts, made it extra fun to spend that much time on the BIG day with her.
Renee was able to accommodate getting a second stylist that morning to do my Mom and sister's hair & makeup, which was a huge help. They were so happy with their looks and we all lasted until the end of the night.
5+ stars all the way! -

Renee and her team did a wonderful job on hair and makeup for my wedding party. Renee was so easy to work with and super communicative throughout the entire process. We worked with Marjan, Deanna and Jenny on wedding day and all three were incredibly talented, friendly and accommodating. Marjan did my bridal hair and makeup and I was absolutely blown away. We actually completely diverted from my trial look and she still nailed it. My hair never seems to hold a curl and somehow she got curls to stay all day AND night. She was a true miracle worker! Highly recommend! -

Renee did an amazing job! I was nervous my hair would fall out since it's very thick and heavy but it stayed in tact throughout the entire day from the wedding pictures in the GA heat through the end of the night with lots of dancing. Renee is phenomenal. While we didn't hire her for a wedding, we did hire her to do my daughter’s hair and makeup for a headshot session, and it was the best decision ever. My daughter is still talking about how sweet Renee was, and how she did the makeup beautifully without making her look “made up.” I have to agree – the makeup was just right for her age and appearance. It smoothed out my daughter’s face and highlighted her features, but in a very natural way.
For me, though, it was Renee’s attentiveness and attention to detail that really made an impression. Renee arrived early to the photoshoot and listened as my daughter explained the different looks she was going for. She then presented hair and makeup options that would best achieve the desired effect for each look my daughter was wanting. Renee stayed with her throughout the entire photoshoot, touching up or changing makeup as needed, smoothing or fixing hair during the shoot, and then reworking my daughter’s hair completely for each new look. She was absolutely amazing. -

Renee is awesome - she is a true artist! Very accommodating, as she was able to see me for the bridal consult/trial last minute! She did hair/makeup for (4 total) myself, my Maid of Honor, my Mom and my husband's Best (Wo)man. Everyone's hair/makeup looked beautiful, and lasted all night long (thru rain, sweat, and dancing!) Her makeup/hair products are high quality, and she uses sterile techniques when applying. Renee has such a cool & calm vibe, but also at the same time extremely organized and punctual! She is truly a professional, and someone you can trust to make you feel beautiful on your wedding day! Thank you again, Renee! -

End-of-chemo celebration weekend!
We had a big group getting together to celebrate the end of chemotherapy for one of my friends with a big dinner and a night out, and Renee came and did makeup for us onsite. She was super communicative and replied within hours to all my questions and queries. I was arranging everything from out of town and we only communicated via email, but her quick responses and professionalism put me totally at ease. On the day she arrived exactly at the time we had planned, was efficient and flexible with the setup, and did a **beautiful** job on the makeup. My friend had lost not only her hair but also her eyelashes and brows during chemo and I know she has not been feeling like herself, but thanks to Renee she looked and felt as confident and beautiful as we know she is. I couldn't recommend Renee for her skills, professionalism, punctuality, and her kind and empathetic personality. Thank you Renee! -

I highly recommend Renee and her team! Renee did a fantastic job ensuring myself, 8 bridesmaids, flower girl and mothers of bride & groom received hair & makeup services by 10:30AM in time for our noon wedding (without making anyone start before 7AM). I greatly appreciated her coming on-site at our hotel, with a team of 5 makeup & hair artists in order to work with our aggressive timeline. All the artists did a fantastic job and were very nice to work with.
My makeup (airbrush) and hair (updo with extensions) lasted all day and night through a noon wedding, photos outside (on a 90+ degree day), 6-10PM reception, dancing and after party until 1 AM. My hair still looked great the next day, so I kept it up for the entire day for our farewell breakfast/brunch. You can’t beat that! -

I only have positive things to say about my experience with Renee and her team. My husband and I live in Birmingham, but got married at Lake Oconee in GA. Needless to say, finding a hair and makeup artist (and really any vendor) long distance isn't the easiest. However, from the trial to the big day, Renee exceeded my vision for wedding hair and makeup and was so easy to work with! She is not only creative, talented and a good listener, but she brings an excellent crew with her - which we needed for me, my 9 bridesmaids, 2 moms, and our 2 six-year-old flower girls. They were punctual, professional, and friendly! I am still getting compliments on my wedding day hair 2 months later... I would 100% recommend Renee to family, friends and really anyone who wants to look and feel extra beautiful :) -

Best stylist!
Selecting a stylist for my wedding in June was one of the most difficult things I had to do. I wanted an individual that I trusted, and that would also be a positive and relaxing presence on the day of my wedding. I was so glad that I chose Renée Locher as my stylist. Throughout the entire planning process, Renée was very prompt and open to suggestions. She was able to accommodate my hectic work schedule, and complete a make-up and hair trial in my home. Additionally, she was very open to timeline changes, and was extremely flexible when I added a last-minute family member. Not only was Renee’s skill amazing, she selected a team of equally talented stylists to help my family members and bridesmaids look stunning. Looking back at my big day, I cannot imagine using any one other than Renée. -
