Highly Recommend!!

Danny was incredible! We had a group of guests that are not big dancers, but Danny was able to keep EVERYONE on the dance floor ALL night. So fun! He was great to plan with too!

Excellent DJ

We hired Danny's Elite Docs Jockeys for our wedding at a private residence in March. Danny was very personable and professional and promptly responded to any questions or needs that we had. Our DJ, Ramiro, was excellent as well. He played a great set that kept our dance floor packed the whole night. We would absolutely recommend Danny's Elite Disc Jockeys to anyone in need of a DJ. They are exceptional!

DJ Wedding

So amazing and fun! I danced all night long, Danny knew exactly what to play for my large crowd of 380 people!!! Dance floor was never empty and the photobooth was so much fun! Highly Recommend!

Friendly, accommodating, and not pushy at all!

After a misunderstanding with our vendor team, we realized less than two weeks out that we needed to rent A/V equipment for our wedding to play the playlist we created and allow for speeches. Our wedding was more of a casual affair, so we knew we weren't necessarily interested in a DJ, and Danny understood that—he wasn't pushy at all and was so prompt and courteous when responding even though this was so last-minute. My planner, my partner, and I had a handful of questions and Danny was quick and patient when getting back to us about them too. The rental fee was reasonable (especially compared to other folks in town) and making payments was incredibly convenient, as they accept so many different forms. On the day of our wedding, it was clear that Danny had done a great job not just setting up the equipment but training our planner on how to use it, as we didn't have a single technical hiccup all day.

We Had a Blast with Danny!

Danny did a fabulous job as DJ/MC of our wedding weekend! I am not ashamed to admit that music was the part of my wedding I was most particular (ahem, Bridezilla) about, and Danny was able to roll with it and bring to life the perfect “soundtrack” that I had imagined. We had three days of events during which Danny set up equipment all over the large private estate that was our venue. Between mics, speakers, silent disco, and a video projector; Danny made it all happen seamlessly. His energy is upbeat and friendly, but also very calming. He was also flexible as our plans changed and evolved throughout the planning process due to COVID. I’d highly recommend hiring him for your wedding or party. He’ll make sure you have a blast!

Amazing Wedding DJ !

Danny / Elite was a perfect DJ choice for our wedding! We looked at a few options here in Santa Barbara, and were confident and excited with working with Danny after our first call. He helped make the whole process easy and stress-free, and more importantly brought great music to our event - we had all our guests dancing the entire night! I was also able to give music, genre, and even specific song recommendations prior, and was obviously thrilled to hear those throughout our big day. We both would definitely recommend enlisting Danny or Elite for any of your DJ needs!

Great Experience!

My husband and I got married in Solvang in September and it was the perfect day! Ramiro was extremely professional and kept the hits coming! He was respectful of our list and was totally in tune with the energy in the room! Working with Danny and Ramiro was incredible and I highly recommend them!

Danny is the best!

Danny DJ'd and Mc'd my wedding this past weekend. It was great!! All of my guests and myself were on the dance floor to the very end. Danny was very attentive to all my requests and need. My wedding was my best day ever thanks in part to the great music Danny provided us.

Thank you Danny!

Danny DJ'd and MC'd our wedding this past weekend. It went so smoothly, the music was great, the mic's were always in place on time, and we had multiple people comment to us on how great the music was and how well he read the room in knowing what to play next. Danny set up a 30 minute call the week prior to the wedding to make sure we were all on the same page as far as the timeline went, and to make sure he knew if there were any particular important things to us that he could assist with. I would absolutely recommend him for other weddings and events!
Should also mention that his online planning tool is very helpful and easy to use. He has a massive database of songs to include that you can easily pick for different parts of the wedding or mark that no music should be associated with (processional, bouqet toss, first dance, dinner, cake cutting, etc.). I had an obscure song that wasn't included in his initial database but he said it was no problem to download and was able to play it which I very much appreciated.

Perfect DJ! You will not regret!

We worked with Danny for our event and he was awesome! They have an online planning form where you put what music you want to play for each thing like first dance, father/daughter dance, cake cutting, etc. You can also say which songs you for sure want played and which ones you don’t. So we filled that out a couple weeks before the wedding. Then the week of the wedding, Danny called us to go over the forms. We discussed the kind of music to play at dinner and during the dance portion of the evening. We also wanted a rather long song for our first dance but didn’t want to dance the whole time, so Danny sent us over a few different cuts of the song to make it shorter. He also remixed a slower song we wanted for our grand entrance. The songs he played at the dance portion were perfect. He was easily able to tell which songs people were enjoying dancing to and played those for longer. My husband, the guests, and I had a ball dancing all night long. Could not recommend him enough!

My husband and I got married in July at an estate in Santa Ynez. After reading A LOT of reviews and doing our research we hired Danny from Elite Disc Jockeys. Danny was AMAZING. He was extremely responsive, patient, helpful, and prioritized our wants/desires. I was a very hands on bride and Danny allowed me to be able to relax and not worry about any of the MC or sound logistics. Before even signing the contract Danny was willing to do a walkthrough of the venue and help us determine what equipment would be best, how we would be able to repurpose sound systems, and most importantly how we could have exactly what we wanted within our budget! Danny even spent time before our weeding to sit down with us face to face to talk about what vibe we wanted (PARTY), any must play songs, timing etc. We had an amazing dance floor/ party atmosphere at our wedding and it’s all attributed to Elite Disc Jockeys. Overall: HIGHLY recommend Elite Disc Jockeys!!!!!!!!

Danny Vasquez was our DJ for our big night in Santa Barbara on July 1, 2018. From the first day we met to discuss his DJ services, Danny was ears wide open to listen to what we wanted for our wedding. He added his experience to the area we needed to fill in the gaps musically, and was very respectful and professional. Danny communicated the details clearly in plnning meetings and provided a great website to organize the playlist. Danny stuck to the plan we agreed on and didn’t try to take over the party with his mic and personality, which is exactly what we were worried about based on other DJs at weddings we’ve attended. This is not to say he didn’t feel out the crowd and play the right music at the right time. Danny was flawless in his transitions and song selections. We also had Danny uplighting which was very nice for our outside venue. We wouldn’t recommend anyone else for your music needs at a wedding!

Danny was great to work with throughout the entire pre-planning process. He was friendly, flexible and we felt he really cared about making our event a (fun) success. Danny of Elite Disc Jockey was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. Both my husband and I are really into music and were nervous about having a DJ, but Danny made everything go smoothly. He listened to our recommendations and requests for songs, made some of his own based on what we had put together, and helped with the most epic recessional song. I plan to use them for any future events that we have. Thank you SO much Danny for making our wedding day a dream come true. The music tied the whole event together, and we couldn't have asked for anything more.

Danny is THE BEST. Music was so important to us, so being able to feel like we could collaborate with our DJ was crucial! He made himself available to us to discuss the mood and feel we wanted from the dinner to the last song. I dont think I left the dance floor once. We truly enjoyed every second with him!

Danny of Elite Disc Jockeys was a wonderful wedding DJ. He's very professional, easy to communicate with and knows how to keep a crowd dancing all night. From our first phone call with him, we knew he was the DJ for our wedding. His website is super easy to use for music suggestions/requests and he has a huge database of music. Our wedding was a ton of fun and a big reason is because Danny kept the party going on the dance floor. It was packed the entire time. He also did audio for our ceremony, which was great and because he mixed the ceremony audio on his iPad, there was no equipment in the way of the photos for the ceremony. We also really really liked that he wasn't cheesy and did an excellent job as an MC of the wedding as well. We were so happy to work with Danny and would recommend him to anyone needing a DJ.

Danny was fantastic. My wife and I had a lot of opinions on what we wanted to hear during the ceremony and cocktail hour and especially on what we wanted to dance to during the reception, and Danny was as accommodating as possible. He did some great edits of songs for some our entrance music, and his online portal was a great touch for communicating with him as well as for picking music we wanted to hear (or not hear!). Our guests had a great time dancing, and a number of them commented on how well Danny did reading the crowd and playing just the right song at the right moment.

I would definitely work with Danny again.

We were so happy to have Danny as our DJ for our wedding day. He was so professional and he has the wedding day down to a science! He really personalized our day exactly how we wanted it and delivered the best music! Our guests were literally on the dance floor 30 minutes past our intended end time craving more from him... Danny Vasquez of Elite Disc Jockeys was our wedding ceremony and reception DJ and I would highly recommend him to anyone in the greater Santa Barbara area looking for an event DJ! He was referred to us by a friend so I was initially biased when talking to other local DJ’s. However, after a few phone screens it was apparent that Danny at Elite Disc Jockeys was hands-down the best choice beyond referral. Our phone conversations with him from the start were exciting, filled with collaboration between the both of us. Every time my husband and I had an idea for a song, we emailed it to Danny for advice and he always responded promptly. We wanted to walk down the aisle to violin-covers of rap songs and we could only find them on YouTube, but this was no issue at all for Danny. He found the exact versions we wanted and created perfectly sound audio files from them (now my Mom wants to listen to ‘Still D.R.E.’ violin-covers cause Danny made it sound so beautiful!). We also had several homemade audio tracks that our friends had recorded that we wanted to be used intermittently throughout the night. He not only mastered the tracks to make them sound as clean as possible, he found ways to sneak the songs in between modern music and made the surprise all the more exciting. Danny MC’ed our entire event flawlessly, remembering little touches that we spoke about here and there, and with complete professionalism. I can’t wait to tell everyone I know looking for a DJ in SB about Danny, and look forward to dancing the night away to his amazing DJ skills again.

Danny is the BEST!! We didn't talk to any other DJs after our initial phone call with Danny. He was incredibly helpful, professional, and kind during the whole planning process. I was planning my wedding from a distance so I was very grateful Danny was so accommodating when it came to working with my schedule. He made sure to be available when I was in town and worked with me to set up phone meetings when I was unable to meet in person. He provided me with a lot of advice and input as far as music and even with layout/event flow during the site visit. It was comforting to have someone so experienced because my wedding was the first event I have every planned. When it came to most of the music all I had to say was "I trust you." My guests had so much fun dancing the night away! Danny really knows how to read a crowd. He also was able to make the processional song longer to ensure all the wedding party was able to make it down the aisle before the song ended. Overall, we are so happy we decided to book Danny and highly recommend him for anyone planning a special event.

We loved Danny!! We spoke with a handful of other DJ’s prior to booking, but we liked the energy he brought to the conversation and instantly picked him. He understood that every wedding is as unique as the couple; he worked with us to ensure that the music and flow fit the overall vibe we were going for, and also kept guests going all night. More than that, Danny went above and beyond working with the vendors and our planner to ensure the entire wedding day went smoothly, including helping our family members get around the wedding site (he saved the day for Grandma!). We are thrilled with our choice in Danny and cannot say enough good things about him – we highly recommend him!!

I am confident if you choose to work with Danny you will be happy you did. We had an all around excellent experience. Leading up to the event, our interactions were low touch, yet productive. Danny communicated clearly about what was happening and would be needed from us. He also had good suggestions for order of events and how to make the event flow smoothly. On the day of the event Danny was entirely self sufficient in getting everything setup. During the event Danny was perfect - kept things going, read the crowd perfectly and overall nailed it. Elite Disk Jockeys / Danny = no risk.

Danny DJ'd for our wedding and it was all perfect. His website beforehand where we could pick all of the photos was so easy to use and ensured we had all the songs we wanted played. At the event Danny was the best. He got everyone up and dancing and created a great feeling and mood for the whole night. I highly recommend him for any event.

We hired Danny at Elite Disc Jockeys to be our DJ for our October 10th wedding in Santa Barbara and could not be happier with the service we received! Danny was such a pleasure to work with from the moment we spoke on the phone to the wedding day. He made everything so easy, responded to us very quickly when we had questions, gave us lots of ideas and suggestions and is just a very friendly, easy going guy who is fun to be around. He played background music during dinner, made announcements and kept the party going on the dance floor all night. He helped make everything flow smoothly on the wedding day and we didn't have to worry about anything. He is a true professional and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a wedding DJ!

Danny was FANTASTIC! All of the communication prior to our wedding was incredibly quick, and he has fantastic taste in music! He is also very reasonably priced, and offers five star service. I also really love that he posts pictures from his weddings on Instagram... You can tell that he is really passionate about his job! The website form for building your wedding music is so easy to use and helpful, and there is no song he can't get! He did a wonderful job from the ceremony all the way through the end of the night--truly a seamless job. He read the crowd very well and made sure to balance what we requested with what was ultimately keeping everyone on the dance floor. Our guests all had a fabulous time, and we really could have partied for another few hours with the great music Danny played. I 100% recommend Elite Disc Jockeys :)

Danny was an excellent DJ for our wedding. Very easy-going but still well organized and professional. He made sure to consult with us a few times (once over the phone and a twice in person) and was always quick to respond to any questions we had via email. He matched the vibe of the wedding perfectly with his playlists and incorporated our requests and our guests requests in a way that made everyone very happy. He was incredibly versatile with his music selection and had both young and old on the dance floor. BEST. DECISION. EVER. Danny was one of the most important parts of our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. I can't begin to describe how amazing his skills and services were. He was wonderful to work with, and collaborated brilliantly with our amazing coordinator. He read the crowd perfectly, and there was not one dull moment during our entire reception. We had the pleasure of having Danny as our DJ for our wedding this past weekend. Danny was such an amazing and professional DJ! He was such a nice guy, very responsive, and very sensitive to our requests and desires for wedding music. We could not have asked for a better DJ. We really enjoyed working with Danny. He was really friendly and easy going right from the start. His website was great, and allowed us ( and our friends ) to log on beforehand and choose different songs for the different parts of the reception. We threw a great party and people danced the whole time.

My (now) husband and I were recommended a few local DJs when we were engaged and after meeting with them, we chose to go with Danny, owner of Elite Disc Jockeys. We were so pleased!! Out of all of our vendors, he really understood what we were looking for. Many of our guests came up to us, saying that it was the most fun wedding they'd ever attended. A lot of that, we credit to Danny. He made the reception the fun party that it was. People were dancing all night, the music was great!
There's a website where you put in your song requests and when you'd like to hear them, along with songs you don't want to have played. It was easy to navigate and fun to pick out some songs together. It did take some time to make sure we had songs for everything. For example, walking down the aisle, our entrance at the reception, cake cutting, etc. But it was well worth it. We would definitely recommend him for anyone else.

From the moment we met Danny we knew he would be great a DJ. We had a big dancing crowd and I wanted to make sure we found a DJ that could read the crowd and keep people on the dance floor. He was so easy to work with and I loved that he met with us in person twice. Danny is professional, organized, and he really knows how to mix his music!. He even helped us put together some personal touches that we wanted for our reception. We were so impressed with Danny throughout the process of planning our wedding and he exceeded our expectations on our wedding day. My guests kept commenting that Danny was one best DJ's that had ever seen at a wedding. The dance floor was always full! We had a blast. Thank you Danny!

Elite Disc Jockeys was very professional and exceeded my expectations by far. I gave Danny a HUGE playlist made up of pages and pages of songs that I wanted played at my wedding. He never strayed away from it and provided 4 hours of nonstop dancing music. The dance floor was packed the entire time and I myself did not leave it one time! Elite Disc Jockeys has the best sound system equipment with some awesome lighting to go with it. I was extremely pleased with their service and my overall experience was unforgettable. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to have the ultimate dance party.

Danny of Elite Disc Jockeys was wonderful to work with from the first time we met with him. We were looking for a DJ for our wedding and I was nervous about finding a good one because the dancing was SO important to me. When we met Danny he was punctual, prepared, professional, and super nice. We could tell he was experienced and felt very confident with him. Throughout the process I didn't feel like I ever needed to worry about the DJ part of the wedding and had full confidence that Danny would do a great job, and that he did.He was easy to get a hold of should I need to and was so kind throughout the process. He kept the dance floor going and the music he played was great. He played the music we requested and also filled in the gaps with his picks that went right along with what we liked and the crowd liked as well. He even help put together a surprise that my fiance's family put together where they all came out in their costumes from the Trinidad & Tobago Carnival and danced to Soca music. It was something I will never forget and Danny was so kind to help them with it. Danny was also a great master of ceremony, taking care of all the announcements. I cannot say enough good things about Elite Disc Jockeys. Pick them!!

Danny was great! Great music. He was very attentive to all our specific requests and the feel of how we wanted our wedding. He played music during dinner that was great background music and got people in the mood for dancing - and then we DANCED. Great music, very contemporary and not cheesy. In addition to the music, on the day of the wedding he ran an errand that my new mother-in-law had forgotten about, which alleviated my stress immeasurably. Also, during the planning, we had a major breakdown with our wedding planner and he did a very skillful job of navigating that difficult situation. Our only wish is that we had had more time for dancing! In the back of my brain I'm looking for another reason to have a party just for that reason.

Amazing Wedding Experience

Danny was awesome! For our outdoor ceremony, he did a great job making sure that everyone could hear our officiant and the music, and he did an amazing job with the dancing at our reception, the dance floor just kept on going! I would highly recommend Danny to anyone looking for a DJ/Emcee at their wedding.

Dancing All Night!

Hiring a DJ for your wedding can be scary. Nobody wants a DJ that is super corny on the mic, doesn't read the crowd, and that plays the stereotypical "wedding music". Danny Vasquez is not that type of DJ. Danny is very professional and has exceptional communication, which is key. Not only did we hire him to be our DJ, we also went through his company to book a mariachi band for cocktail hour and our photo booth. This made things much easier for us since we just had one point of contact for all three things, and he delivered it all.

I was very hands-on with the music I wanted played during dinner and the reception, as I had very specific songs I wanted played. This made for a very long playlist and, more importantly, a do not playlist. Danny provides his clients with a login so you can easily create and edit these lists as well as provide other pertinent wedding details. He makes sure to go over every single detail with you prior to the big day, which I appreciate. Danny was able to take all my song requests and blend them seamlessly, which kept the guests dancing all the way until the venue had to start cleanup!

danny was awesome. if you are looking for someone who will get your wedding guests going… and keep them going all night long, he is your guy. from our first dance on i don't really remember leaving the dance floor. looking back i think the entire wedding was on the dance floor for the full 2hours - including my mom and dad. danny was helpful, friendly and easy to work with. we submitted a playlist to him, which i am pretty sure he followed… but also added his own bits that everyone loved. if i were getting married again danny would be at the very top of my list of vendors that are a no brainer to re-hire.

I thought Danny of Elite DJ's did an excellent job for my wedding. I contacted and even met with him several times to go over what I wanted and he added good suggestions. I was really worried about so many people with they're varying music choices, and keeping everyone happy; but he was calm in knowing what to do to make everyone shake it on the dance floor! He attended my rehearsal, and all my planning meetings up there with other vendors (even when he probably didn't have to). He was always very open to listening to what I wanted and going through the steps of what was going to happen for me that day, from the open air ceremony to reception and what he would be in charge of.

Danny was good. He worked within a unique space for us and kept things moving along. I would defiinitely get all the music you want into his playlist ahead of time. He did play some music from an era that I declined, so I would make sure all that is decided beforehand. Overall, good job.
