When planning for our wedding, my husband and I agreed that one of our non-negotiables is to find a videographer that will capture our day well so that we can remember for it for many years to come and I am so happy that we selected the best one.
I found Elise Films through Instagram when I was browsing through our venue’s tagged reels to see which videographers have done amazing work at our chosen venue and when I saw Hai’s work for one of the recent weddings there, he was instantly at the top of my list.
During our inquiry call with Hai, he was very warm and friendly and was genuinely invested in learning more about my husband and I. It was so easy to talk to him and he didn’t pressure us to book him on this call. He just wanted to get to know us and our lovestory and that really stood out to me. After our call, I didn’t look further for a videographer because I already knew that he was the right choice.
Leading up to our wedding day, Hai was very communicative and patiently and promptly answered all my questions and concerns. During our last video call to go over our extensive wedding day timeline, he was very professional and thorough, making sure that he knew the details of the day and entertained all of our notes including the surprise that we wanted to do for our bridal party.
During the day of the wedding, he worked seamlessly with our photo team. He also guided us in creative shots without making us feel awkward and we ended up having a lot of fun.
Hai is a gifted storyteller and he told our story beautifully through our wedding film. He gave us the opportunity to give him feedback on the film before the final edit and I appreciated that even though the first version was already 10/10. I am so pleased with how our wedding film turned out and even more pleased that we got it back so quickly. I’ve watched it multiple times already and I just love watching it over and over again. Our family and friends have also raved about how good it is. I wholeheartedly recommend Elise Films to anyone getting married. This is the best investment you could have for your wedding day. Thank you Hai for giving us a beautiful keepsake to cherish for a long time! We look forward to seeing you again!! -

Beautifully Captured and Very Happy with the Final Products!
We were looking for a videographer for our wedding, and our photographer recommended Elise Films. One of the best recommendations ever! Hai is meticulous, professional, and genuinely cares about creating precious memories for the couple. We chose the Signature Film which seems to be a popular choice and we are very happy with the outcome!
The day of the wedding Hai was there early and had everything set-up and ready to go for both our ceremony and reception. When he wasn't filming us, he would be capturing shots of the venue and setting up beautiful shots for our rings, bouquets, etc. He was non-stop trying to get the perfect shots and being resourceful with accessories and decor to make the shots more special. On the day of the wedding, I truly appreciated his diligence and felt reassured that we were in good hands.
Look no further! Elise Films will not disappoint and your special day/event will be captured beautifully and professionally as a precious memento to look back on in the decades to come. -

When looking for a photographer, my husband and I were looking for someone who was flexible, communicative, and personable. When you're creating your dream team, you want to have someone you feel comfortable with and be with someone who you feel you can trust. When we first met Hai through our interview call, he straight off the bat wanted to get to know us a little bit more. Hai wanted to get to know us on a personal level and did just that. He appreciated all the details we gave and had similar sense of humor. Hai answered all of our questions with ease and was able to provide us insight on how having a videographer works.
Hai was very quick to respond to all our questions and was very communicative with our wedding coordinator, not giving anyone a hard time.
When it comes to Hai's work, he definitely knew what he was doing. He had the bright, clear image but he also had his flair of layouts. He has his signature he does with his rings. I was really intrigued with that and he over performed, making our rings look like the most expensive things in the world.
To be completely honest, having Hai be our videographer definitely made us feel so welcome and comfortable, we feel like we definitely walked out of this being more than clients. I look forward to working with Hai later on as our family expands. He's just that personable. You don't want to lose him like that, he's just more than a vendor.
Not only did you get a whole video of your entire wedding/event, but you walk out with a friend, a brother. I do not regret one single second, entrusting Hai in capturing our memories. He captured all the candid moments as well as capturing the important moments. He caught behind the scenes moments as well. I don't remember anything from my wedding as the day went by SO SO Fast, but thanks to Hai, I can always relive and re-feel the moments of that special day.

Having Hai as our wedding videographer was the absolute best decision! We had a Cambodian Ceremony, Vietnamese Tea Ceremony, and a Reception. With the crazy timelines for all 3 events, Hai made sure that we didn't have to worry about a thing. From the very beginning, he made everything so easy—from the initial consultation, the vendor contract process was efficient and clear of any confusion, his communication was great, and he always made sure we were on the same page. It was obvious he truly cared about capturing our special moments in the best way possible. Hai is super professional, flexible, and also really easygoing, which made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. He had a great eye for details and caught so many special moments without making anything feel staged. It felt like he was everywhere at once, capturing all the little in-between moments that we’ll cherish forever.
One of our favorite things? The IG reel teasers he put together! They were so well-edited and perfectly captured the energy of the day. Our friends couldn’t stop raving about them, and we loved having something beautiful to share right away while waiting for the full video.
If you're looking for a videographer who is talented, professional, and just an all-around great person to work with, Hai is the one. He made the entire process smooth and stress-free, and we’re beyond happy with how everything turned out! -

If you are thinking about hiring a videographer or on the fence about it, DO IT and hire Elise Films! My husband and I got married a little over a month ago and having footage from our wedding that are beautifully edited takes us right back to our wedding. I am so happy that I found Elise Films on Instagram and if you look on that page, the weddings he has captured says it all. From the beginning of our consultation to post wedding, Hai has always been professional and responsive. I chose the package that came with the videography + photography and Hai brought on KevinTPhotography to help the day of wedding. I am happy with this decision because I knew he would be working with someone he trusted and could capture my wedding the way I envisioned it. Hai and his team were professional and easy to work with the day of wedding. My husband is Mexican/Guamanian and they were there to capture two families with different cultural backgrounds coming together and embracing each other's traditions like the tea ceremony. I am forever grateful that I am able to look back some of the most precious moments that happened during my tea ceremony that I hold to so close to my heart and our private vows that we said to each other. We get to see how much fun everyone had and the people we celebrated with. I don't think our friends and families recorded much (I sure didn't because I was living in the moment) so it makes it more special and fun to have these videos to look back on. You won't have any regrets hiring Elise Films because I definitely didn't. -

When it came to choosing a videographer for our wedding, we did our homework, weighed pros and cons, but the moment we spoke with Hai from Elisefilms, we just knew. His style, his flexibility, his genuine desire to make our vision a reality—it was all there. And we couldn't have made a better choice.
Elisefilms made planning a wedding from across the country in NY for our CA wedding a breeze. Despite the time difference, he bent over backward to accommodate our schedule, ensuring our first meeting was thorough and memorable. He remembered every detail we discussed, even though the big day was still over a year away.
As the wedding drew closer, Elisefilms guided us through every step, going above and beyond to scout locations and capture stunning drone shots of our chapel well in advance. He was truly dedicated to ensuring that we had the perfect footage, rain or shine.
Our wedding had almost 600 guests, and we were worried that some footage might not be captured, but everything was captured: all the emotions, the excitement, and the craziness in our guests. It was so great to watch back to see everything that happened when we were too busy with other festivities.
We especially want to point out that Hai is extremely passionate about his work and made us comfortable trusting him throughout the process. There were moments during the wedding day when Hai suggested certain poses or scenes, and while we had no idea how it would turn out, we trusted his expertise and, it paid off beautifully. He was constantly running around to make sure to bring our shared vision to life, and he did not rest until he got the perfect shot.
We hit a snag when we realized some of our props were missing for the video shoot, but Elisefilms seamlessly adapted, capturing those essential shots later in the day without disrupting a single moment of our celebration.
Hai's understanding of our Vietnamese and Cambodian cultural traditions was invaluable, making every aspect of our wedding feel authentic and special. From start to finish, Hai and his team at Elisefilms were like old friends, effortlessly blending into the festivities while still capturing every precious moment. The sneak peek they delivered shortly after the wedding left us in awe, and the final product was beyond anything we could have imagined.
We also trusted Elisefilms with our niece's birthday and our engagement ceremonies, and each time, they delivered perfection. It's not often you find vendors who feel like family, but Elisefilms truly does. Thank you, Elisefilms, for making our special day truly unforgettable.

We recently had the pleasure of working with Hai and his team for our wedding videography, and we can confidently say they were the best vendors on our special day! After an exhaustive search for the perfect videographer, we are beyond grateful that we chose Hai and his team!
Hai demonstrated a profound understanding of the intricate elements of a traditional Asian wedding, which immediately put us at ease. He was able to work through the complicated schedule, long hours, and hidden surprises we had prepared throughout our day. Even with the last-minute addition of a Same Day Edit film, which he and his team pulled out flawlessly, I knew when I presented the opportunity to Hai, that he was ready for the challenge and knew he could handle the surprise for the bride.
One of the striking aspects of Hai's service is his strong technical background. I found that he is also an Engineer like myself who has a passion for videography. He expertly utilized advanced film equipment, such as gimbals and tracks, to capture and highlight the essence of our wedding day. When my husband and I started wedding planning, I told him the only vendor I cared to book (non negotiable!) was Elise Films. Hai/Elise Films did the cinematography for 2 other family weddings and many friends’ weddings prior so I was already familiar with his style. Even though I had worked with him in other weddings (as a bridesmaid), he far exceeded our expectations as clients. Hai was extremely responsive and accommodating throughout the entire planning process. He and his team were so fun to work without through the (14hr) day and really made it less stressful on us. Things ran smoothly even with our crazy, chaotic family.

Choosing Elise Films as our wedding videographer was one of the best decisions we made. From our first consultation with him, we liked his energy and felt like his passion for his work was what we were looking for. Our wedding was back in August 2021 & even after many months have passed, we still feel the utmost gratitude for everything Hai/Elise Films did to help us capture our special day. From the beginning, Hai was very responsive and professional. When we spoke to him for the first time, we could tell he really cared about the quality of his work and was so diligent in checking all the boxes in order to tell our best story. The communication & planning leading up to the event was very reliable and smooth. We are shy people, but Hai really guided us and helped us throughout the event. We were actually very surprised by how well everything came together in our final film. It was simply better than we could’ve imagined! Hai did his work with a lot of vision, heart, and attention to detail, and many of our wedding guests saw that at our wedding. All the nerves went away when I saw how Hai and his team perform during my best friend's wedding. The reviews Elise Films received are spot on.
During my wedding planning and the actual wedding day - Hai was very easygoing. He gave suggestions and made sure we were very comfortable. He was accommodating with what we wanted and what we don't want when we first booked him. Hai is very thoughtful to other vendors that we were working with like our photographer and MC. It is good that your videographer and photographer work well together since they will be with you the majority of your day and need to capture the moment. He came early to set up and have everything ready before each event starts. He was very busy on the wedding day since he had to do 3 different events - A tea ceremony, a Church Ceremony, and then the venue. You know you trust a person when you don't have to worry about what they are doing - Hai was one of them. Props to him for making it through the day. The video turned out amazing. My friends and family loved all the videos including the one he made of my flower girl. Lowkey, I still died at that video. If you have not seen it please check out his instagram/tik tok - @elisefilms. He captured moments that I even missed during my wedding. I know if you have Elise Films as part of your wedding vendors - You will not regret it 10000000000000%. He definitely will go above and beyond on your wedding day. I can’t express how thankful and grateful my husband and I are to have Hai film our wedding. Videography was one of the things I had to have and I’m so glad we went with Elise films. Not only is Hai professional, but he you can tell he’s so passionate with what he does. He puts so much thought into his videos and you can really see it. How often can you say someone’s video gives you the feels?! Hai is so easy to work with. He’s so easy to communicate with and makes you feel comfortable. Our wedding day went by so quick that I didn’t realize how much I had missed until watching our videos. Hai really captured everything and because of him, we got to relive our wedding day.

Hai was recommended to us by our friend and we are so happy that we went with him. We did a low budget wedding but photography was something that we did not want to exclude. Hai was super responsive from the start, he set up a video call months before the wedding and really took his time to get to know us and our vision for the wedding. He was easy to work with and was willing to work us, not trying to upsell us but listening to us. We really enjoyed his professionalism and trusted him with the process. The day of the wedding, he was very easy to work with and helped guide us on throughout the way. There aren’t enough words to describe the incredible talent, creativity and artistry that Elise Films is able to create. To simply put it, Hai and his team created more than just a wedding video; they created pure magic and art that we will be able to cherish forever. My husband and I can’t express how happy we are with Elise Films. We came across Hai, Owner of Elise Films, from our friend’s wedding and let me tell you, hiring Hai to be a part of the dream team was one of the best decisions we have ever made. Our original wedding date was supposed to be September 05, 2020 but due to Covid we had to postpone. It was one of the most stressful decisions to deal with, however, Hai was very professional, understanding, and caring and was able to accommodate our new date which was on July 10, 2021.We would not have moved forward with our new date if Hai was not available because one of the most important aspects that we felt was finding the perfect videography/cinema who was passionate about their work and enjoys helping their clients capture, not just the wedding day, but their love, moments and memories to create a personal and unique love story for every couple they come across which we do see in Elise Films work. After our wedding, we received our teaser film within a month and we were in awe! We couldn’t wait for the final product. Three months later, we finally got our wedding collection film! We were beyond satisfied with the outcome and excitedly shared it with our friends and family and we got so many compliments regarding how the video turned out. The editing was flawless; the music was on point and it left us speechless. My husband and I have literally watched it over 30 times and every time, it brings back so many enjoyable memories. Watching our wedding video brought a lot of emotions, some parts made us cry, other parts made us laugh. We are so grateful for the AMAZING job that Elise Films was able to create and would like to thank Elise Films for creating beautiful memories that my husband and I can forever cherish. During our wedding planning process, videography has always been at the top of my must-have list since I wanted to relive our wedding day in video form for future years to come. There are so many different videography styles, but Elise Films caught my eye on Instagram @elisefilms because they showcased a beautiful story where I could feel the emotions and love from the couple. During my initial conversation with Hai, I told him about one of our concerns since our wedding would be in Orange County but he was located in San Diego. He assured me that he visited Orange County quite often due to other weddings and his family so there would be no additional traveling fees which was good to hear. He’s also very flexible about his packages and can do a custom package that may be a better fit based on your wedding needs. We ended up going with his Feature Film custom package adding on more hours and including a sneak peek as well. His videography and drone views are top notch and extremely professional that it’s like watching a movie!
When we had to postpone our wedding in 2020, we wanted to be sure that we could keep Elise Films and almost had a date secured with all our other vendors but unfortunately, he was already booked. Luckily, we were able to come up with a new date that worked with his schedule so we were relived we could keep him and he was able to honor our new date at no extra charge. A week before the wedding, Hai requested a Zoom meeting with so that we could go over any final details which shows how much thought and care he does for every couple. We had a wonderful meeting with him to go over the logistics and what we wanted to capture.
On our wedding day, Hai showed up early to do set up and was able to capture a few moments before anyone else had arrived. His dedication is a testament to the work product he provides which is 100% perfection. We were glad to see that he brought his own microphone and sound system as well so that the audio would be very clear. Throughout the wedding day, Hai and David made sure that different moments were captured, and we also had fun recreating and moving around to get that perfect shot. At one point, I was all set up with the microphone to read the vows however things didn’t go according to plan since we ran out of time but Hai was able to quickly clean it up and keep things moving along so that there would be no delays. Hai partnered very well with our wedding coordinator and photography team so that there was open communication to capture any couple or group shots. Even during the reception, Hai was one of the last vendors to leave so that he could capture all the dancing moments for our guests. He is truly dedicated to his work and we’re so honored that we could have him as our videographer.
We were so excited when we received our sneak preview which was completed in 2.5 weeks and our feature film before 9 weeks which was the exact timeframe he had given to us. I was moved to tears by the way he captured our vows and interweaved it with the wedding ceremony for our films. The sneak peek and feature film are touching and beautiful to watch. We’re so glad that we can share with our loved ones and friends in addition to other parts of the wedding that didn’t make the cut. Hai is down to earth, easy-going, and extremely responsive and communicative to all the questions we had. Thank you Hai for creating a beautiful video memory for us to enjoy for years to come!

Hai spent over 3 hours, took almost 1200 pictures (and a video), and provided 300+ edited photos within 5 days! He was flexible with my planning and stayed well over the initial time amount to capture our special moment! I highly recommend Hai to anyone looking to capture a special day! -

Highly recommend Elise Films!!!
Elise Films was beyond amazing. We had a unique request for our elopement and Elise Films was up for the challenge and blew our expectations out of the water. We are so satisfied with the outcome and have already recommended Elise Films to friends and family. The videos/pictures are all so nicely executed and beautiful! I have not been able to stop showing them off to anyone and everyone. Even people who I've shared the contents with have asked me if they can share it with their friends and family. I love that they made recommendations but also listened to what we had in mind. Elise Films was also very fun to work with and so easy going. It felt very natural and stress free which was a huge bonus since I strongly dislike taking photos. I was utterly surprised that they were able to capture so many moments of me not being so awkward :) but honestly, look no further... Hire Elise Films! -

A few weeks ago, we had a small elopement with just our parents and our siblings, and Elise Films was there to capture everything. I'm so glad they did!
Neither one of us are used to being in front of cameras. I was definitely nervous about looking awkward or not being able to provide good content for editing...but our videographer Hai knew exactly what he was doing and made us feel so comfortable while filming us! He was able to capture all the greatest moments and even parts of our wedding that are often overlooked. He did a really amazing job stitching everything together and made a beautiful compilation of our wedding day.
I think especially during a time like this (COVID), a videographer is an absolute must for your wedding - no matter how big or small the party is. I'm really glad we have film to look back on and share with all our loved ones who weren't able to physically be there on our special day. -

Book Elise Films for your wedding!!!
After a lot of research, we decided to book Elise Films for our wedding in November. After meeting and talking with Hai, we felt very comfortable and confident. Hai’s professionalism and dedication are evident all throughout the process from the phone calls to the details in the videos. He assisted us and answered all of our questions. We had a very early start as with most traditional Vietnamese wedding, and Hai and his team was there from the start. They worked tirelessly throughout the whole day to capture all of the details, all the way to the last dance of the night. When we received the videos not too long after, we were very impressed and glad we put it in his hands. The storytelling is phenomenal. The music selection and transitions are absolutely perfect. After watching all of the deliverables, we could not be happier. Hai is a true believer in his work and his art. We are glad we booked Elise Films to capture the happiest day of our lives. Hai is truly amazing at what he does. His videos have a way of telling a story that really gauges your attention. He did our wedding this past July and we didn't expect our video to be finished for at least 3 months, but he surprised us with our video being finished earlier. We were beyond excited. His videos of our wedding truly captured all the right moments and he did an excellent job at providing the kind of vibe we were looking for. He even chose a nice, catchy song that we now love! We hired Elise Films for our wedding and we could not be happier with the product and service provided. In terms of film style, Hai has preset packages that cater to almost any need. We e-mailed details back and forth a few times and then Hai also hopped a call with us a couple times to make sure everything was going to be done exactly the way we wanted. We had a lot of random things going on at our wedding and Hai was able to seamlessly capture the day for us. In all honestly, the day looks even better on film than it did in real life! haha, okay, maybe not, but you know what I mean. The footage was great and the turn around time was fast! -

I used to work in the wedding industry, so I had high expectations for photography and videography. When my wedding planners introduced me to Hai's work, I was hooked immediately. But I was still doing research on my own, yet I still came back to Hai's videos. Hai was very kind. He was a true professional who listened and answered all of my questions, especially when I had a traditional wedding. I saw how hard his team worked, they went above and beyond not to miss any important shots. I loved his ring shots, and how artistic it was! The final products were absolutely beautiful. For the past 25+ years, we have owned a company that provides Wedding Officiant, DJ, Emcee & Photo Booth services.
We have worked with a lot of videographers in that time and let me tell you, Elise Films is one of the most dynamic teams that we have ever had the honor of working with!
Recently, we were able to work together on a beautiful wedding celebration, locally in San Diego County.
The weather didn't cooperate and the rain just kept pouring down, for the entire day! Regardless of the circumstances, the Elise Films team was quick on their feet, flexible and easy to work with, even with all of the last minute changes.
Throughout the night, they were on point with capturing each and every special moment and they were so easy to work with!
I was thoroughly impressed with the video that they shared from the beautiful celebration.

My husband and I got married last year and Elise Films captured such great memories for us and in such a cinematic manner. We were on the fence about getting a videographer for the day but it was one of the best decisions we made. The day got so busy and things went by so fast that it almost felt like a blur. But luckily we got to relive it and really got to soak it all in through the film we received. The teaser video we got was so tastefully done yet really captured the whirlwind of emotions from the day.
They are also really easy to work with. Communication was easy and response time was quick. It's a huge plus when you have to work with so many other vendors. Our overall experience with them was great and we would highly recommend them!
