Elise Abigail Photography was the best choice we could have made for our wedding. Elise and Ethan were professional, kind, and so easy to be around, which made the entire day feel calm and enjoyable. Elise photographed both our engagement session and our wedding day, from getting ready through the dance floor, and we are so grateful we had her there for all of it.
She gave thoughtful guidance when needed while still capturing genuine, candid moments throughout the day. From the very beginning, Elise created a welcoming, affirming space and made us feel completely comfortable as an LGBTQ+ couple. When we received our photos, we both teared up. They are beautiful, emotional, and truly reflect how the day felt. We will treasure them forever and cannot recommend Elise enough. -

Wedding Experience of our Dreams
It’s hard to put into words how incredible this experience with Elise and Ethan was! Elise was extremely responsive, helpful, knowledgeable, supportive and SO kind. Any person who is getting married would DREAM of this experience with their wedding photographer.
The day of the wedding felt like we were sharing it with true friends. The energy that radiates from these two is so contagious and comforting.
The photos they took tell the most beautiful story of our wedding. I had NO doubts in my mind with how well these photos would turn out. Elise has a special touch with capturing the beauty in humans. Her photos show the real moments and love shared.
When Elise delivered our pictures to us she created the most MAGICAL experience to look back on the day. We genuinely relived that day through the pictures they had taken. We laughed and cried for hours looking at these STUNNING photos. The playlist she creates for you to listen to while looking at them only amplified the feelings!
So much thought and care is shown in her work. I feel truly grateful and honored that our wedding was shot and shared with them. Thank you for your astounding work, sharing our wedding day with us and for being you :) -

Wow where to start.....after several days and weeks of extensive research, I found Elise online. Her "moody" vibe to her photography is what initially drew me in. After talking with her on the phone, it was her sweet nature and depth that closed the deal for me. We met her and her husband for the first time at our engagement photoshoot, which turned out amazing. They are the sweetest couple and I truly admire how well they work together. On the day of our wedding, Elise and Ethan both were so helpful- interacting with guests, holding things for us, telling us where to go and what to do etc.. Everyone loved them! We received our wedding photos the other day and I am completely stunned! She made a personalized playlist for my husband and I to listen to as we looked through the album and let's just say we were both crying throughout. She has a unique ability to capture the little moments that mean the most. You can really tell she puts her heart and soul into her work. Thank you Elise and Ethan!! -

Elise and Ethan are simply the best of the best. We had to reschedule our wedding date (like many this year) and they were so supportive and accommodating throughout the whole process. As for our photos, they turned out BEAUTIFULLY. I cannot put into words how great of a job they did. They both captured moments that my husband and I looked back on and were wowed by. Simply put, Elise and Ethan have all the skills and professionalism of a top tier business, while also making you feel like friends. We couldn’t have asked for a better duo to shoot our special day. As a planner I've had the joy of working with Elise and Ethan at several weddings and events (and they've photographed my husband and I). At every event they show up FULLY with care and joy. They aren't just there to take photos, they are there to make sure every couple has the best experience possible and do whatever it takes to honor them. I've also hired Elise to photograph some local events. The feedback received from all the attendees was that Elise made them feel so relaxed and totally themselves during their headshots and throughout the events (which, I gotta say, headshots can be uncomfortable sometimes). Not only are Elise and Ethan amazing to work with, their work speaks for itself. Every single image could stand alone as THE BEST in the gallery. I'm always blown away by how beautiful the galleries of weddings and events are. If you're considering hiring Elise and Ethan DO IT!!!! -

Elise and Ethan are the best decision for photographers you can make. They will make your day the best and you’ll be blown away by their talent. From day one they made us feel welcomed and became our friends. Photos felt comfortable and natural because Ethan and Elise are so easy to instantly feel comfortable around. They are genuine, light hearted, so fun and will instantly be your best friends. 10/10 would recommend!!! -

Elise and Ethan (and the moments they capture) are an absolute dream!
If you’re looking for a photographer who is creative and kind, who cares about her craft and has a heart for marriage, then stop looking. You’ve found her. Elise has such a talent for capturing the true feeling of your wedding day, and it’s been an incredible joy to look back at our photos again and again and be able to really live it all again. You don’t realize how important that is until suddenly the day you’ve been planning has come and gone (everyone warns you it goes fast and it DOES). But, even though the day went quickly, I can’t imagine how much faster it would’ve seemed if Elise and Ethan hadn’t been there to remind us to just relax and enjoy the day, to slow down and be present with our people. Working with a married couple who are just so freaking fun (and are more than willing to get on the dance floor with you) made the day even better—they perfectly balanced being professional and personable. In fact, everyone who interacted with Elise and Ethan at our wedding said how great they were. We couldn't agree more! From the first phone call when Elise helped map out a timeline to making us feel at ease at our engagement session to the final shot of our wedding day, we felt so well taken care of and we’re so incredibly thankful to have such beautiful images to cherish. So, Elise and Ethan, thank you for doing what you do and being a part of our big day! -

Elise and Ethan are just amazing! Hiring them for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made! They are so fun and kind and just some of the best people to be around. My husband and I could not be more satisfied with our experience with Elise and Ethan as our wedding photographers. From the moment we booked them for our wedding they were so intentional about making sure they knew who we were, what we wanted our day to look like and making sure we were enjoying the whole process. Looking back at our wedding day I can't help but feel so blessed to have had Elise and Ethan there for our whole day. Elise made me feel so comfortable, beautiful and heard. And Ethan meshed so well with my husband and his groomsmen. Not only are they both absolutely incredible photographers, they are even more incredible people! We couldn't be more pleased with our wedding photos. The Randolph's were able to capture moments we didn't even know happened, details that I didn't even realize were going to be details we'd want to remember and emotions that feel like you re-live them when looking at the photos. I can't say enough about these two and who they are and what talent they have. Our wedding day wouldn't have been the same without Elise and Ethan! -

Dreams are made of these photos
Elise and Ethan were absolutely wonderful. They were everything we could have wanted, and so much more. We knew that we wanted them to shoot our wedding as soon as we got engaged, and they did SUCH a phenomenal job. They are extremely professional, and get shit done without being pushy. It was great, as we have some family that can be difficult. They both were so great with everyone, and incredibly kind. Elise and Ethan were also so much fun to have around. They were radiating positivity, and were damn dreams. She made sure that my husband and I were soaking in every moment, and not to take anything for granted. She slowed us down and grounded us in the day. The day of she was everywhere at once it seemed, and captured everything perfectly. Every tiny detail was beautiful and perfectly captured. 10/10 would recommend them to anyone looking for a photographer, because they are simply the best. There is so much love put into every single picture, and you can tell. -

Absolute Magic
Wow. We are absolutely speechless, in the best of ways.
Our wedding was backyard, bohemian, laid back and earthy. When looking for a photographer, I truly wanted to find someone who jived with that. Someone who could capture the true essence of who we are. Someone who loves to create absolute magic. Elise and Ethan did that and so much more. From the very beginning, Elise was beyond helpful in the intricate planning of our day - timeline and all. Both Elise and Ethan went above and beyond in getting to know us as a couple, and as a family - something that truly came through in all of our photos. They had a keen sense of awareness and mindfulness throughout the entire process. They truly understood and captured all that was important to us. Elise and her husband are amazing! My husband and I had a nontraditional reception and were nervous about finding a photographer that could handle something unique. Not only did Elise handle it, she went above and beyond our expectations. Both she and Ethan were immediately able to pick up on the things that were important to us, and highlight them in the most beautiful way. They were a joy to have at our wedding. Elise was able to be a calm presence during special moments and a clear guide during chaotic ones. When needed, she was able to direct my guests with a kind efficiency that I greatly appreciated. Our pictures were returned and we were blown away. They are professional, kind and above all genuinely care about making your experience wonderful. -

Elise and her husband photographed our wedding on 10/20/2018. They are simply the best. Elise and Ethan are an amazing team that work together flawlessly. Elise Abigail Photo did an AMAZING job with our engagement and wedding pictures. We will cherish all our pictures for the rest of our lives. Elise and Ethan make you feel completely comfortable during photo shoots, and they truly capture the best moments in time. You can genuinely re-live a day through the pictures they take. My husband and I just received our wedding pictures, and we continuously look back through all of them. We honestly can’t play the slideshow without crying each time. Our big day went by so fast, but we get the chance to live each moment through our beautiful photos. I will never get professional pictures done by anyone else! She spent time getting to know us as a couple prior to the photoshoots. She has a great eye for those special/creative shots and really knows how to make you comfortable, even in those awkward scenarios! She and Ethan make a great team, and we couldn't be happier with our decision to use them!

Chelsea Sent on 01/28/2018When I started planning our wedding, photography was the absolute FIRST priority for me, as long as I had the pictures, I didn't care! I found Elise through a friend of a friend. As soon as we looked at her site, we were sold. I sent Elise an email to get things started. She was super responsive!
After detailed email conversations, Elise called and we were able to chat on the phone for over an hour, discussing anything I may want. We live in Arkansas, and scheduling a time to meet in person that worked for everyone was nearly impossible, so it was absolutely wonderful to have the chance to chat on the phone! I was able to shoot her a quick text any time & that was amazing! Elise truly focused on what was important to us.
Elise & Ethan arrived the morning of our wedding fully prepared, & got right to work! We had created a timeline, and in true Chelsea fashion, I was running late. Elise did not panic! Instead, she told me to make sure that I took a few minutes for myself, to sit down and breathe. Lifesaver. Atthe church, she again went right to work! I was so relieved that even though she was not from here, and hadn't been to our venues, she took charge and just kept going!
After the ceremony, we boarded the party bus to our photo location, and a pop up storm started. I mean torrential downpour. So we turned around, came up with plan B, only to get half way there & hear that the storm was over, & we headed back to Plan A. Total Trooper. She just went with it, and still got plenty of amazing, breathtaking, gorgeous photos that we will cherish forever.
During all of our portraits, Ethan played music to create a relaxing environment, it was so nice! From start to finish, they are there to cover every last detail! You need them! -

Caitlin Sent on 01/06/2018Elise is ah-maz-ing! I knew right after being engaged that I had to have her as our photographer and believe me she is worth every. single. penny and MUCH more! Go ahead and do your self a huge favor, and book her, like NOW! Her photos are phenomenal. She has an amazing eye and knows just how to capture you in the best way. Plus her and Ethan are about as down to earth and friendly people as it gets. They make it so fun, just like hanging out - in our case the 4 of us just laughing the whole time.
Wedding day was amazing. Elise is so great with ideas and timelines for the day of. I was planning our wedding myself and had tons of questions for her - after talking for 15-20 mins we had it all figured out! Shes an expert and I really appreciated being able to have her guidance and expertise. We got married at Chaumette Winery which was a venue she hadn't been to before. Between that and the fact that everything there is so spread out I hoped that I wasn't overwhelming her and Ethan too much. Wasted worry because they knew exactly where to go and when. This was so helpful because we were on a tight timeline but yet executed everything perfectly.
That's the great thing about them. YOU are their priority! From giving you their own water and snacks they bring while shooting, to helping family members get placed, to making sure you have a private toast with your husband after the ceremony, and all the personal interactions inbetween. They want to make sure you have the best day! I was worried about not having a videographer but after getting our photos back I don't care one bit. Every single moment was captured and I could not be more happy! (oh and Elise even sent me a playlist to listen to while I looked at our pictures for the first time - talk about ALL THE FEELS)
Elise is a true talent! I had her for engagment/wedding but she does amazing photography for any purpose! I fully recommend her! Best decision you can make! :) -

Exceeded Expectations
We were absolutely blown away by our experience working with Elise. From the first meeting, she showed a genuine interest in getting to know us and understanding exactly what we wanted, and then completely delivered. Our sessions felt relaxed and laid back, and we were absolutely thrilled with how the photos turned out. They look personal, intimate, and, most importantly, they look like us. We will cherish and enjoy looking at our wedding and engagement photos for the rest of our lives. We can’t recommend Elise enough, hiring her was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. You won’t be disappointed! -
