You Need Her
Planning a wedding in Telluride could have been stressful, but with Krysta, it was so easy. She knew the right people, made incredible recommendations, and coordinated a seamless day. She knew I wanted to get married with snow falling and she called in a favor from Mother Nature - kidding, but she was ready to get us out there in the snowfall and it turned out even better than I imagined. She would pop in to see how I was doing the day of, and disappear to work her magic. She came prepared for anything that could go wrong and if it did, well, I had no idea. I cannot appreciate her enough. She is organized, detailed, and calm in all situations. You need her. -

Krysta Saves the Day
We were the typical couple that thought they could do it themselves…wow were we wrong. Had we continued, we would have been so stuck without Krysta!! We had no idea what it took to plan a wedding but she sure does. With a limited time frame, she absolutely killed it. From the communication to the execution, 10/10. There's not a single thing I wish she would have done differently. Krysta asked us what we’d like, specifically. And every one of the little details we wanted, made it into the wedding! She knows her locations really well, she knows all the vendors (even the ones you didn’t know about) and she has a delicate way of conducting business, while also not dealing with any BS. We barely saw her during the wedding, but we knew she was HANDLING BUSINESS. The person behind the scenes, calling the shots and keeping out of sight. Which was bitter sweet because we love her! Haha Our wedding was perfect, thanks to her and Elevation Weddings and Events. THANK YOU Krysta so so much!

Krysta Cossitt is the BEST!
Krysta’s consultations were most helpful and guided us through the planning process! Our events were at the Top of the Pines, which requires everything be brought in - tent, sound, catering equipment, etc. Krysta worked directly with the rental company to iron out details and provided us with checklists that were critical for our DIY wedding. As the mother of the bride, Krysta was the magic and helping hands that made our weekend organized and perfect. -

There are just no words to explain how thankfully we are for everything Krysta did to make our wedding weekend absolutely perfect!
Krysta helped us plan our wedding over the course of three years. We rescheduled 2 times due to covid, and if it wasn’t for Krysta, the whole thing wouldn’t have happened at all.
We had to renegotiate contracts, find new vendors and coordinate transport and accommodation for many international travelers. There was so many logistics surrounding our wedding, but Krysta took it in her stride and executed everything perfectly.
Before beginning the wedding planning process, I considered not hiring a wedding planner. If you are on the fence about hiring a planner, please just DO IT. It’ll be the best thing you do:
1. Krysta reviewed and negotiated contracts for us to ensure we were protected
2. Krysta thought of details we would have not even considered
3. Krysta is so straightforward and honest. Having coordinated so many events and weddings, she knows what works, and what doesn’t. Several times I would have an idea, and Krysta would say “in reality that doesn’t work, BUT you could do this instead”. Her ideas were always 10x better than my originally idea, and worked perfectly.
4. Krysta has relationships with awesome vendors. We would hire every single one of them again in a heartbeat
5. During the wedding weekend, we were able to relax and enjoy time with friends and family. Krysta seamlessly executed everything and we didn’t have to lift a finger.
6. After the wedding, Krysta worked with the vendors to clean the venue and collected any unused items. She took the time to return unused items for us, and mail back some items to California. These may seem like small things, but they make such a huge difference.
Krysta went above and beyond to ensure not only we, but all of our guests were happy and having a great time. She made herself available to answer questions and help out in any way she could.
Our wedding weekend was without a doubt the best of our lives, and we have Krysta to thank for that. Every detail was thought out.
Whether you’re planning a local or destination wedding, do yourself a favor and hire Krysta. It will be the best decision you ever make. Thank you Krysta for EVERYTHING - you are one of a kind and we’re lucky we found you!

Our Perfect Day in Ouray!
We had the most incredible, beautiful perfect wedding day - all thanks to Krysta! She helped my husband and I pull off the most incredible last minute elopement: we hired her in late March for our wedding on May 22. Neither of us had even been to Ouray or the San Juan's, so we were truly going into planning our elopement blind. From our very first exploratory call, Krysta was incredible patient with my billion questions (I am a planner and perfectionist so I have no doubt I can be frustrating!). From the day we hired her to the day of our wedding, we worried about very little. She helped keep us on track with reminders and set my worried mind at ease whenever I doubted we would be able to pull it all off with such a limited timeline. It actually snowed in Ouray two days before our big day and I called Krysta a bit freaked out: my dress was strapless and my shoes were open toed wedges. I had zero coverage as we are from Phoenix and no dress stores sell that kind of item in our area. As an example of her awesomeness - she let me borrow a beautiful stole to keep me warm. It elevated my whole look and made it look elegant and as a bonus it staved off the frostbite:) All I can say is that at the end of it all...I can't imagine having had a more idyllic wedding: it will forever live in my heart as one of the happiest days of my life and James and I could not be more grateful to you for all your help and kindness and professionalism Krysta! Thank you so much for helping us pull off such a beautiful day. We highly recommend Elevation Weddings! -

It was such a great experience working with Krysta. She has a lot of knowledge on how things are done in Telluride and what vendors are available there. Krysta was nothing short of amazing!
When Krysta met with my husband and I she took on our complete (unique & bold) wedding vision & turned it into reality! She was always focused on our vision & how we wanted things to go/look the weekend of our wedding.
With Krysta’s knowledge, experience & leadership she took all the pressure off of us by communicating and answering all of our questions quickly, she was with us when we met with vendors and handled all the questions we wouldn’t have thought of asking.
By far the best wedding investment we could have made. Being stress free throughout the wedding planning process is truly priceless but beyond that Krysta understood the assignment and did it all with a smile & professionalism.
There will never be enough words to express how grateful we were to have had her! -

Small wedding perfection
My groom and I, attended by three guests, eloped outside Ouray this June. Per our vague instructions, Krysta organized a charming outdoor ceremony with a picnic and ukulele player. I appreciated how she employed local artisans to supply our cake, food, and other necessities. I found the planning process simple and stress free. -

Best coordinator ever!!
We could wrap this whole entire experience up with the word REMARKABLE! Krysta and her team are simply at a level higher than impeccable! We knew we wanted her from the first conversation with her. She is a delightful individual, and super easy to work with. There is no task too big for her! I’m pretty sure we had some obstacles to overcome with our one of a kind style wedding, but she made everything happen flawlessly & with finesse. We had 27 people doing a jeep tour over Imogene pass from Ouray to Telluride, and stopped at 2 secret locations for our jaw dropping perfect wedding ceremony & stunning mountainside full sit down luncheon reception. Her recommendations were perfect & the crew she coordinated for us were people that made an impression on our hearts forever. This was a day that not only WE will cherish forever, but our guests as well! There was not a single person in the crowd who wasn’t impressed with Krysta’s services & organization. Her charges are extremely reasonable considering her hard work ethic, dedication to superbness & innovative ideas. We definitely would recommend her to anyone! She is the sweetest, most kind, loving person & will do anything above & beyond to make your day the most perfect day of your life! The only regret we have is that we couldn’t spend more time with her! 5 stars for sure!

We owe so many thanks to Elevation Weddings and Events for helping us throw an epic celebration of love in the remote mountain town of Crested Butte, Colorado. Krysta is friendly, responsive, attentive to detail, and an excellent listener. My husband and I had a pretty laid back/non-traditional approach to our wedding and when explaining our vision to Krysta, we never felt judged or pressured. Krysta allowed us to stay true to ourselves while also providing excellent guidance and support. The wedding day timeline was especially helpful and Krysta had great suggestions on how to make the whole day flow. Also, because of a scheduling issue (our fault) we weren't able to do our rehearsal at the actual ceremony location, and Krysta handled it like a total champ. The day-of went off without a hitch and it was so wonderful to fully enjoy our wedding with zero stress knowing that Krysta had everything handled. I recommend Krysta's wedding coordination services without hesitation. I am so thankful I contacted her after deciding I wanted to get married in the Ouray area as I truly don't know how we would have pulled off our wedding without her help! Krysta is very familiar with all the wedding vendors in the area and every recommendation she made turned out to be wonderful - flowers, caterer, DJ, transportation service, rentals, hair/makeup, ceremony music, etc. With that being said, she was flexible and willing to explore alternatives if there was ever a need. Her online planning platform made it very easy to communicate about all the details and stay on track in terms of tracking everything that needed to get done or decided upon by a certain date. Krysta was always quick to respond and address any questions (big or small) that I had throughout the entire planning process which was much appreciated as I always felt like I was in good hands which definitely helped keep the stress of wedding planning at bay.
Our wedding day turned out to be our dream come true in the San Juan Mountains. Krysta's day-of coordination was impeccable with everything organized and planned down practically to the minute. The whole thing came together and was executed perfectly! Our guests and my (now) husband and I couldn't be happier with the entire experience which was only made possible with her planning expertise. When my daughter and her husband decided to have their wedding at The Peaks Resort in Telluride we were informed that we were required to hire a wedding planner. At first I thought… “why.. I got this”. Obviously, I had never planned a wedding before! Holy smokes, I had no idea what goes into planning a wedding. So, I did my due diligence and checked out several wedding planners in southern Colorado, finally choosing Elevation Wedding and Events. The BEST decision I made throughout the wedding planning process. Krysta is simply amazing. She is feels like a friend from the beginning. She is beyond organized, is an expert at wedding etiquette, has a plethora of fantastic ideas and an expansive network of vendors she can refer too. Not to mention, she works her butt off… I can’t believe how much energy she had on the wedding day! My daughter and son-in-law’s wedding could not have been more perfect and we owe that all to Krysta and Elevation Weddings. Thank you, sweet girl, you are the best! -

Wow. My husband, family and I cannot say ENOUGH wonderful things about Krysta. Honestly, I had no idea just how talented she was with planning events when I first hired her... After speaking with her on the phone one day, my gut told me we needed HER to be our wedding planner... Her warm and non-judgemental personality sold me (just from one call). She didn't request our budget before agreeing to work with us (which I came across with every other planner in the area... not OK). Anyway, she is BEYOND organized and has fabulous taste! She has strong relationships with the very best vendors in Southwestern Colorado and loves supporting local businesses. The website she offers you to use is extremely helpful when planning (and you get to keep a full address book which is super helpful when ordering invitations and sending Thank You cards)! When the big day finally came and I walked up to our venue, I was in TEARS & covered with goosebumps from seeing how she set up all of our decorations & just every detail. (In tears thinking about it NOW). Long story short, Krysta is very HUMBLE about how incredibly talented she is with ALL EVENT planning but we will tell the world that we could NOT have pulled off our wedding without Krysta!! From the very first moment meeting Krysta we knew that she was our coordinator! She quickly and professionally put us at ease, and stayed true to our overall aesthetic. Through out the entire process Krysta went above and beyond to ensure that everything we had envisioned was running smoothly. The tools she provides are exactly what you need to help navigate the sometimes daunting process of planning a wedding. We did the partial planning package, but Krysta was there to help through all of our planning. Even though we didn’t do the entire planning package... I wouldn’t have any doubts in Krysta coordinating every detail. Our experience was great, and we truly enjoyed, appreciated, and admired all the beautiful work Krysta did for us.

Lizzie Sent on 06/11/2018It’s impossible to sum up my gratitude and the amount of help we got from Krysta through the process of planning our wedding. Ours was a ranch wedding and we were starting from scratch; the ranch had no amenities, everything needed to be brought in for the day of. So there was a lot to consider. I had done a good amount of legwork but was starting to get overwhelmed about 6 months out, and felt instant relief after hiring Krysta.
Krysta assisted on the micro level-thinking about the visual details to the macro- hiring the right local vendors to add beauty and finesse to our event. She kept it real when prospective vendors weren’t being communicative by urging me to look elsewhere. She made sure I was hitting time-sensitive milestones (made sure all the vendors were hired, contracts signed, linens chosen and ordered, just to name a few key aspects.) Krysta created a timeline for our day that was planned out down to the minute (helpful for things like delivery times and making sure the bridal party was ready in time for the ceremony), communicated with vendors when needed, and I’m sure did plenty of other things that I’m not aware of behind the scenes.
On the day of the event, Krysta seemed to somehow be in 5 places at once. She was totally calm, competent, professional and pleasant. I had multiple family and friends tell me during the event and after that they were impressed with her performance.
There’s so much I could say, but I will just end with this: my husband and I highly recommend hiring Krysta to help you make your event everything it should be and more. -
