I cannot say enough good things about Joy! I had to change my wedding 3 times through this pandemic and she has been so flexible and accommodating through it all. We can't thank Joy and her team for our wedding this past week at the Bourne Mansion- she listened to every detail I had and brought it to life. They made the process to easy! We trusted in her and she did not let us down one bit! She was willing to answer emails late at night, early in the morning and the communicate was fully there (even during busy wedding season) The kindest soul- i can't recommend her enough!

Joy is INCREDIBLE! My wedding flowers were absolutely beautiful thanks to Joy. My initial florist cancelled on me only weeks before my wedding, which left me in a horrible spot. Joy was able to pull together the flowers of my dream in only a few short weeks and made my dream wedding a reality! I am eternally thankful to elegant designs by Joy!!! I will recommend her to all of my friends and will 100% be using her in the future.

Joy is a rockstar

Joy (and her team) couldn't have done a better job for our "covid" wedding. We had multiple last minute changes that were unavoidable having a December 2020 wedding, and Joy really helped us to be at ease with everything that was going on with regards to covid rules/regulations/changes etc etc... Many of the usual suppliers and distributors have been short of stock due to covid, but Joy was an absolute ROCKSTAR managing all of the ordering and last minute updates (we had changes to our bridal party and attending guests literally the week of the wedding).

Joy helped us to pick out accent pieces and we received dozens of compliments on the flower arrangements from all of our guests and even those that couldn't attend.

We would happily recommend Joy for all of your flower and event needs!

Couldn’t be happier about my experience with Elegant Designs by Joy!

I reached out to Joy and her team two months prior to my wedding, they were very accommodating and affordable - despite how last minute my order was. I met Joy in her shop and had a great time talking and planning with her - Joy is truly dedicated to all of the weddings that she has been involved in (I don’t think she ever forgets a bride). Not only did I love Joy’s personality and click with her right away, but everytime I would go into her Shop she was creating a different masterpiece - Joy’s talent and ability knows no limits. She has endless knowledge about the wedding industry and even helped me find additional last minute vendors, always steering me in the right direction! All of the flowers arrived on time, they were fresh and fabulous, and she was even able to incorporate paper flowers into the arbor - exactly what I had envisioned and planned with her! I highly recommend Elegant Designs by Joy. I look forward to working with her again in the future!

Truly beautiful arrangements- THANK YOU!!

Joy is AMAZING! We wanted a clean, elegant style for our winter wedding- in terms of flowers, we weren’t quite sure how to capture that style-but that is where Joy came in. She is so creative, knowledgeable and talented that she instantly knew what to do to make our wedding vision a beautiful reality. She is very passionate about her work and spent ample time with us going over details to make sure everything she created was aligned with our style. She really went above and beyond. The arrangements she created for our wedding day were absolutely stunning. Everything from the church flowers, to my cascading bridal bouquet, to the bed of roses for the seating cards to sit atop, to the high and low arrangements for the reception were breathtaking. We are still getting compliments on the flowers and how magnificent they were. Joy was a pleasure to work with for our wedding and I cannot recommend her and her team more highly. I will use Joy for any event in the future, and I look forward to continually being blown away by her amazing arrangements. Thank you, Joy & the Team!

WOW!!!!!!!!

THE MOST BEAUTIFUL FLOWERS! Two Weeks later, and they are still just as special! Joy made my vision come to life. I was back and forth with a few ideas for my wedding and Joy listened every step of the way. I’m point blank, blown away at how beautiful everything came out. When I look at my wedding photos so far, it’s my flowers I notice first! So many of my guests have called to compliment the quality of her work. I can’t be convinced there’s competition out there for this florist shop. It simply doesn’t compare! Thank you a million times over!

Stunning designs!

We had such an incredible experience with Elegant Designs by Joy! The flowers came out absolutely stunning! I live in NC so we had to plan everything via email and phone calls and did not meet until the day of the wedding. I sent Joy a few pictures of the color scheme I wanted and the final arrangements exceeded all of my expectations and I am STILL getting compliments from guests about the flowers. My husband and I got married outside in a gazebo which I wanted decorated. Joy added the flowers and accent greenery to the white draping (she worked with the company who did the draping) and the final product came out AMAZING. It was better than I could have ever imagined! Everyone wanted their pictures in front of the gazebo! I can't emphasize enough how pleased I am with everything Joy did to make our wedding day absolutely PERFECT. I highly recommend Elegant Designs by Joy - you are in the best hands!

A breath of fresh air (and flowers)

When you are working with your vendors you want to choose someone that you can count on to make sure everything is perfect for your day, someone that you don't need to check up on to make sure everything is being taken care of. This is Elegant Designs by Joy. Joy was so easy to work with and really went above and beyond expected. She really is talented. We got so many compliments about our flowers after the wedding. AMAZING from start to finish

Where do I even begin. Joy you were an absolute pleasure and everything you delivered was beyond. From the moment we stepped in her store, I knew her aesthetic was exactly what I was looking for. Our first meeting was like talking with an old friend. I gave her a few inspiration pictures and let her know my color palette of whites and greens. From there she was able to capture exactly what I envisioned and more. My bouquet was what I had alway dreamed it would be; Joy even sourced anemones (not even in season!) to add to my bouquet because she knew they were one of my favorite flowers. Everything else was just as perfect, from the centerpieces, the bridesmaid bouquets, boutonnieres, and even the daintiest flower girl crowns. I couldn't have asked for more. We are SO happy with everything. We would recommend Joy again and again and cannot wait to use her in the future for all of our events. THANK YOU JOY!!!

Amazingly Beautiful Flowers

Joy has a great personality, works with your budget, and truly listens to what you request. I had a certain vision for my flowers and explained exactly what I wanted, including how much I was willing to spend, and Joy was spot on with what she provided – the flowers were exactly what I asked for and I could not have been happier with them. We also had the ability to give a ton away after the wedding as favors, and take a bunch back to decorate our apartment for the week. Very happy with the Joy!

Joy is amazing!

Joy always creates gorgeous, unforgettable arrangements - but she really outdid herself for our small Brooklyn wedding this Memorial Day weekend. The most incredible, vibrant, and wild arrangements graced our tables, I had the most magnificent bouquet anyone had ever seen. I wanted some pampas grass in these wooden crates for our welcome table, and the arrangements Joy created in them were so gorgeous that everyone remarked about them - and we ended up toting them to our brunch the following day because we just couldn't get enough! Just an overall amazing job, and we couldn't recommend more highly or be more grateful.

Joy is amazing!!!

Always a bridesmaid and never yet a bride, I knew exactly what I had wanted in a florist. I had the pleasure of having Joy create two previous bouquets for me as a bridesmaid, and I was head over heels for them. I never wanted to put them down- at the end of the night I ended up going back for both bouquets to save.

My mother and I met with Joy several months before my wedding and she had asked me to show her some pictures of what I had wanted. All I knew I wanted was astilbe, peonies and anemones. The rest was up to Joy. She and her team created the most GORGEOUS and intricate bouquet incorporating everything I had wanted and them some. Joy went above and beyond for me and made all my dreams come true. I HIGHLY recommend using Joy and her team. There is no other florist on Long Island that could create such jaw dropping floral arrangements. Also, a huge bonus, my mother and I were very happy to see that for all of the bouquets, centerpieces, boutonnières, and additional flowers, we were right on budget. Joy was such a pleasure to work with.

I had the flowers of my dreams and felt like a true queen. I plan on preserving this bouquet to look at for years to come.

It was pure JOY to work with Joy! :)

This amazing woman is located in Islip. Her store, to start, is so quaint and beautiful. When my mom and I met with Joy, we were amazed by her knowledge of all things flowers. Flowers were the one thing I had no clue about going in to this wedding process, and Joy assured me that she would take care of everything and make my vision come alive. She was so right. I personally believe she was reasonably priced, and threw in a few extras for us that truly made our decor come alive at Stonebridge. She understood the space, and made sure it all came together. I had emailed her a few times throughout the process due to concerns I had. She emailed me immediately. She has amazing customer service. She is beyond sweet and has an awesome team behind her.

I just got my bouquet back from Stonebridge (Tuesday after the wedding - I left them at the venue) after being married on a Friday. My flowers are still as beautiful as they were the day we got them. They have quality products and I am so grateful I found her to be my florist!

I just dropped off my bouquet to be preserved at "Don't Toss the Bouquet" in Patchogue. When I showed up to give my flowers in, Christa (from DTTB), immediately knew it was made by Joy. She was also shocked at how beautiful and alive they still looked after being out of water for 4 days! She continued to tell me about how the flowers she receives from brides who used Joy are by far her favorite flowers. It says a lot that another vendor (who has never met Joy, by the way) says such amazing things about a florist. I cannot wait to get my bouquet back from being preserved so I can relive my day for years to come.

Avoid using a big company. Support the local businesses around you. Go with Joy for your flower needs - she does amazing work and you will not regret it!!

JOY IS THE BEST! I waited until a couple months before my wedding to book my florist because I didn't realize it needed to be done so far in advance but clearly waiting worked out in my favor. Joy had a cancellation and I was able to sneak in! She was amazing and went above and beyond what I thought flowers could be! She understood my idea of playful and colorful and ran wild. I gave Joy approx. 150 bud vases to fill and line the middle of my tables and she did not disappoint! My bouquet was AMAZING! The colors, choice of flowers and arrangement was impeccable. She is a true talent! The small touches on the boutonnieres and corsages made them pure beauties, especially the baby boutonniere for my ring bearer under 2! Choose Joy - you won't be disappointed!

All of my sisters wedding vendors were great but if there had to be a favorite it was by far her florist, Joy. So I knew when I got married, naturally, I had to use Joy because of how much my sister raved about her. From the first time I met with Joy, she was patient and understanding of all of my questions and took the time to explain to me different options of flowers, how they would look, hold up during the day, and ultimately fit in with my color scheme/match my dress. She spent a lot of time with me helping me decide exactly what I wanted that I can’t say I felt like a lot of other vendors do. I changed things from my initial vision as the planning process went on and Joy was happy to accommodate my changes. One of my favorite moments from my wedding day was when Chrissy walked in my house to drop off my flowers. I was ecstatic! Joy made my vision come to life better than I could have imagined and my flowers were absolutely beautiful! There are not enough good things to say about this lady. She goes above and beyond to set the bar high for herself - trust me, you will not be disappointed with her product. Bottom line, you are not doing yourself justice if you don’t visit her for your wedding flowers.

As soon as I met Joy, I knew she was the one to do the flowers for my wedding. I had met with other impersonal vendors and felt like I was every other bride. With Joy, she took the time to listen to what I wanted and gave us amazing suggestions. She is so knowledgeable of flowers and what is available and when. She made sure that since I wanted anemones and they were out of season, to have silk as a back up (and they looked amazing!!). Other vendors didn’t care and would have given me wilted anemones or whatever white flower was available that day. The day of, everything was on time and seamless. She got my vision perfectly and truly made the biggest difference for my dream wedding!!

Having come from a multi-generational family of florists, our family is very particular when it comes to floral arrangements. When everyone walked into our main reception and saw the beautiful work that Joy created they were all instantly impressed and floored with how extraordinary everything was. And rightfully so - Joy captured our special day and exceeded all expectations. More importantly, she respected our vision, but added her expertise and creativity to deliver something even more special. When we first saw her arrangements we started to tear up because it was that beautiful. Our parents corsages stood out as unique pieces of art, but the real centerpiece was the cascading bouquet. Joy created a stunning bouquet that everyone commented on and really shined in our photos. We can't say the word beautiful enough because that's exactly what Joy created. Beauty. Joy and her staff are absolute professionals and we can't recommend Elegant Designs by Joy enough. Her work speaks for itself, but she truly is in a league all to her own. I stopped into Elegant Designs by Joy the week of my baby shower to ask about centerpieces. Even though it was a bit last minute, both women were so warm and accommodating. I sent over a few photos of what I had in mind and they absolutely nailed it. The centerpieces were gorgeous and exactly what I had envisioned. From the moment I walked into joys shop I knew she was the florest I needed for my wedding. She is extremely talented and so creative. I was blown away with her knowledge of various types of flowers and knew exactly what I wanted from the beginning. Joy told me to trust her and I gave her full range to put together whatever she thought I would love.... and BOY was she right! When searching for vendors my fiancé and I wanted to find someone that we could connect with. Someone that understood our vision and style. The second I sat down with Joy I knew right away I found my florist!! Joy knew exactly what I wanted. She gave me such good advice and had great ideas. I felt like I’ve known her for years!! The whole process working with Elegant Designs was perfect!
I really wanted peonies in my bouquet but we weren’t sure if they would be ready in time. When Joy dropped the flowers off the morning of the wedding she surprised me with peonies!!! My bouquet took my breath away! Such an amazing job making our wedding beautiful and a dream come true!! I highly recommend Elegant Designs by Joy!

Joy was an amazing person to work with. I showed her several pictures of the style of bridal bouquets and table centerpieces I admired as well as a variety of shades of purple that I wanted for my color scheme. She was so attentive and took the time to show me pictures of the various flowers that would be coming into season for my February wedding and the variety of purple colors. Sitting down with her felt like having coffee with a friend. My mother and I were so happy after our first appointment and knew instantly we wanted Joy and her team at Elegant Designs for the wedding. I can’t possibly put into words how happy we are with the flowers Joy and her staff provided for our wedding!!!
Although I did use some photos to show her what I was looking for / envisioning for the wedding bouquets, boutonnières and center pieces, Joy exceeded every expectation I could have possibly had.
All the flowers were fresh, delivered timely, and she even added some special little touches. For example, our center pieces were lanterns with little decorated milk bottles in them, with little firefly lights inside, I asked Joy to create flowers to surround the lanterns- not only did she do a phenomenal job doing so, she called me the day before and asked if she could put some baby’s breath inside the little milk bottles because she thought it would look better that way. She really went above and beyond my expectations and was a pleasure to work with, as was her staff. I couldn’t recommend her more! She’s doing my friends wedding in July and I cannot wait to see the beautiful creations she has in store for her!

Elegant Designs by Joy took my winter wedding dream and turned it into a reality. The bouquets and centerpieces they created surpassed all of my expectations. The variations of high and low centerpieces in the room were strategically placed based on how the tables were set up and gave such a visually inspiring look. There was such artistry and attention to detail. The flowers gave the exact effect I wanted, which was boho and glamorous. Joy and her team know their stuff. They know the vendors, the rooms, and best of all, they know their craft. I could not of dreamed of anything better than they created. Thank you!!!

Joy and her team went above and beyond to help us make our day perfect. She was so great, even dropped off a few items because we were local... can't say enough! The flowers were UNBELIEVABLE and they lasted so long. I just threw my center piece out and its been a week and half!

Everything was beyond perfect! My family has been going to Joy for flowers for a few years now so when I got engaged I knew I would be using her. From the beginning, she was more than accommodating! Met with us after hours due to my husband's work schedule, made helpful suggestions about flowers I liked, and worked with my colors perfectly. On my bouquet she worked in four pieces of jewelry from my four grandparents. She also knew how important our two puppies were and made corsages to match the rest of the wedding party. I could not recommend her enough! I know this will not be the last time I get flowers from her!

Joy was an absolute pleasure to with. She quoted us at a much more reasonable price than other florists. There are not enough words to describe how amazing joy is with everything! From the second we met her we knew we didn't need to see anyone else! She was the only florist we went to and fell in love right away. As soon as I started to describe what I wanted she took a whole bunch of flowers and greenery anything I've never even heard of and made me a sample bouquet which was insane! My favorite part is that she comes to your house the morning of to bring you all of the flowers and boutonnieres. It's personal touches like that, that makes her different from all the rest. I cannot even tell you how many compliments we had received throughout the whole day and night! For the next few days even on our honeymoon I kept staring at my bouquet in a picture and kept saying to my husband how gorgeous is this !!! I love you guys ! You were amazing and I can't wait to use you for another event ??

Joy came recommended by my wedding hall. We went in with a color scheme and not know really what We wanted. Joy and her team took the time out to show us different flowers and colors. She helped us pick out the perfect flowers for our centerpieces and mine and my sisters bouquets. The day of our wedding i walked in to the most beautiful centerpieces. My bouquet was beautiful and exactly me. I absolutely loved the flowers and the arrangements used. The flowers were colorful and vibrant. All our guest raved on how pretty they were. Joy and her staff were super friendly and nice. Joy and her staff went above and beyond. I went into her shop with a small idea of what I wanted and she took the time to make sure I was 110% happy. Definitely a great crew to work with and with the ability to make the most beautiful arrangements

Joy & her team created exactly what I wanted for my wedding day. She is so easy going & open to working with whatever ideas I may have had.... I changed my mind five times during the course of my wedding planning - she was SO patient and easy to talk to. She understood exactly what I was looking for. I got married earlier this month and my flowers were everything that I dreamed of. Joy listened to exactly what I wanted. I did not want typical arrangements and she totally understood my vision. Anytime I had a question I would email Joy and she would respond almost immediately. I have got more compliments on my flowers than anything else at my wedding. They were BEAUTIFUL! My bridesmaid that is getting married next year definitely knows who she wants to use as her florist. We highly recommend Elegant Designs by Joy!!!

Elegant Designs by Joy is fantastic. I had a general idea of the flowers I wanted for my wedding this August.. When I met with Joy, she was able to understand what I was looking for, give me ideas and options and make it even more beautiful that I could have imagined. She even put together an example of what we were looking for on the spot, which gave us confidence in her talent. She is personable, easy to talk to and she listens. All of the guests at my wedding asked who had done the flowers. In addition to having amazing taste, she is responsive, organized and has a ton of experience. Highly recommended!

I can't begin to say how wonderful our experience was with Joy. From our very first meeting, I could see that she loves what she does and that she takes her craft to new level each chance she gets. I gave her a brief description of what I wanted, and she ran with it! She showed me what my tables would look like right there and then. I was hooked! not only by the gorgeous design, but also by her enthusiasm for it! She was flexible when I needed to make changes and even threw in some extra details, I can tell she did this because she cares about her costumers. The bouquets were absolutely incredible! I could have never thought of that contamination of flowers, leaves and details together. My bridesmaids were so excited to have them. The guys also loved their boutonnieres, they were so subtle but intricate. We are so grateful for Joy's charisma, talent and care. Without a doubt, her work brought it all together for us.

When I was planning my wedding I was on a strict budget and was a little afraid that our flowers would look cheap, that it would show that we didn't spend slot. Well joy didvan amazing job. She worked with us and our budget and in the end our flowers, centerpieces were gorgeous. We received so many compliments. To top it off, there were little nooks throughout the wedding hall that we had not allotted flowers for....joy fixed up those areas with little center pieces, pedals and didn't charge us. Our wedding was spectacular and I highly recommend joy. Whether you have a huge budget or not.

Joy was an absolute JOY to work with! From beginning to end, this was my favorite part of planning. My mom and I spent 2 hours in her shop when we had our first appointment because of all the fun we were having and we left feeling like Joy knew exactly the look and feel of what I was trying to go for so it made everything so easy. She worked with our budget and definitely went above and beyond to exceed my expectations! I'll never forget the feeling I had when I walked into our reception at Mansion at West Sayville to see everything decorated with all of her beautiful centerpieces and touches everywhere else. My girls loved their bouquets as did I of course. I can't thank Joy enough for everything she did for us, the effort and thought she put into everything for us just goes to show you how much truly care about she really cares about her clients and loves what she does! I will 100% recommend her to anyone I know that is looking for a florist for their event. Joy, again thank you so much for help making my dream wedding come true.

Joy was such a pleasure to work with. When I first met with her I explained to her exactly what I wanted, a bohemian airy look that would make someone think she went into a garden and picked out the flowers. She took my vision and worked with me to create exactly what I wanted for our wedding. Her price was more than reasonable and after visiting with 2 additional florists, I trusted Joy to take care of my wedding day without any issues, which she did. She even personally delivered my bouquets to my hotel the morning of my wedding, I was shocked!
I cannot tell you how many compliments I received from friends and family on how beautiful the flowers were and even how long they lasted! I have a lot of friends and family that love flowers and even they couldn't name some of the flowers in my center pieces. She was also extremely patient with me when I had ideas that I found on Pinterest that I wanted her to try. She went above and beyond for our wedding and made our venue phenomenal, she even added small details that we had not discussed but were so beautiful. We will be forever grateful to Joy and her team for all they did to make our wedding day incredible !

The flowers were beautiful and the arrangements were exactly what we ordered. ElegantDesignseven added some additional flowers that really made the arrangements spectacular. Joy's flowers are pure artistry, she's an expert at her craft and can understand as well as "peg" the style which you are looking for without you even knowing how to explain it in the first place! Yes, she's an expert and delivers a gorgeous product-but she is beyond caring to boot. I would highly recommend Joy Be, there's no need to worry about your time line, details or quality of service. Everything was spectacular from my first consultation with Joy to our wedding day. It was no easy task planning a wedding from Texas but Joy made it seem as if it was. She's great. I can't even describe how amazing of a job Joy and her team did for my wedding. I got so many complaints on the gorgeous centerpieces and bouquets. I was incredibly happy with the different types of flowers she used, I was worried we would just be getting hydrangeas and not actual flowers that clearly was not the case with Joy. She even went above and beyond and brought in colors of my bridesmaid dresses (each girl wore a different shade of pink) into their bouquets to help bring them all together. She executed my vision better than I could ever imagine. I highly recommend Elegant Designs by Joy, they can achieve any look you are going for!

I had a vision in my head about what I wanted as far as flower arrangements go for my wedding, but I wasn't able to fully convey them to anyone. When I walked into Joy's shop and started talking to her, she was somehow able to read my mind and describe to me EXACTLY what I had been trying to describe all along. I cannot say enough about Elegant Designs by Joy. My husband and I got married in April of 2017 and when it came time to choose flowers for our wedding, we immediately knew that Joy was the right fit for us (especially after previously meeting with other florists). Joy was the first vendor that we booked, in fact. It was by far the easiest decision. She was so patient with us when we sat down with her to discuss flower options and she had so many great ideas. She was truly able to make my vision a reality. My husband and I had 100% faith in her work and she did not disappoint! She far exceeded my expectations and was even able to get her hands on some pink peonies (my favorite), which were out of season at the time. When she arrived at the hotel the morning of my wedding, the bouquets even brought tears to my eyes. Joy and her team then set up the venue (The Bayview House in Bay Shore) and we were in awe when we walked in the room. Every detail was perfect. I would recommend Joy to anyone looking for flowers for any occasion, especially a wedding! I met with three other florists before going with Elegant Designs by Joy for my wedding flowers, and I could not have been more thrilled with the finished product and with the quality of my experience. Joy understood and worked with my vision, met with me twice and worked within the confines of my budget, peculiarities of my venue, and my special requests. She delivered flowers that were everything I wanted and more (white peonies and garden roses, lush greens, mercury glass votives, ribbon streamers from the bouquets.. just gorgeous!). My fiance and I met with a handful of floral vendors in our planning stage and we could not be happier that we chose Elegant Designs by Joy. Joy was professional, nice, creative and she understood just the look and feel we were going for. She even went above and beyond on my wedding day by putting additional flowers on my cake and even a floral garland to put on my welcome sign. Joy is amazing. She went out of her way to decorate nearly our entire wedding because the venue wasn't willing to put much work into setting up. It was beautiful! The bouquets and centerpieces were breathtaking. She even brought a ladder to the venue to put up the canopy for our chuppah, and the flower arrangements on the chuppah were perfect. I don't know very much about flowers but had an idea of what I was looking for - just the colors and the feeling (rustic) - when I first met with her, and she ran with what little I gave her and achieved exactly the look I wanted. All this, and her prices were more reasonable than a lot of places that didn't seem to care too much about their clients. Highly recommended!

My husband and I just had our wedding on May 12 and we can not say enough wonderful things about Joy and her entire team! She was such a pleasure to work with and was so helpful with any requests or questions we had (which at times we had a lot of!) She made us feel so comfortable and understood our vision right from the beginning. We had a last minute request the week of the wedding and Joy was able to fulfill it without hesitation and made it look so beautiful! Joy was absolutely wonderful to work with for my wedding. I went in their with my ideas and she brought my ideas to life. Joy was also very understanding of couples who are working on a budget and was able to provide stunning flowers for our event within our budget. I had a destination wedding in Mexico and was concerned about the quality of the flowers (and the cost) at the resort. I spoke with Joy and she knew right away exactly what I was looking for. She created the most beautiful artificial bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages for our wedding day! Nobody could believe that they were artificial. After visiting other florists, I received a recommendation from my photographer to visit Elegant Designs by Joy and could not be happier that I did!! Joy and her staff are incredible! Within the first five minutes of our first meeting, Joy knew exactly the look my daughter was going for and how to create it. She was able to answer all of our questions, got back to us immediately every time we emailed her and was extremely flexible and professional. She and her staff even braved a blizzard to deliver my daughter's flowers to three different locations...all on time and gorgeous! In addition, her prices are very reasonable. All in all, we were thoroughly impressed with Joy and her staff and will absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a florist!!

Joy is such a pleasure to work with. She is so knowledgeable and helpful. I don't know much about different flowers and did not have a great idea of what I wanted or what would look nice. Joy took what little I gave her (a swatch and a few pictures) and ran with it. She created more beautiful bouquets & centerpieces than I could have imagined! She does amazing work, trust her vision!

Joy and her team designed arrangements for both my bridal shower and wedding. My bridal shower took place in August and my wedding took place this past October 16th. My bridal shower arrangements were all in teapots placed on top of cake stands. She also created beautiful floral crowns and corsages for all of my guests. My bridal shower was a floral dream! Flowers are very important to me and she made me the happiest bride on my special day. The wedding centerpieces were tall and lush! Her work is just magical. She listened to all of my requests and fulfilled them to perfection. Everything was absolutely breath taking. She was professional, responsive, helpful, kind, and cheerful throughout the entire process. She will be my go to florist for all future events!

After a day of meeting with other florists and not completely feeling satisfied with any of them I literally happened to walk by Elegant Designs by Joy and saw her windows I knew I had to go in. I showed her pictures of what I liked and described what kind of reception I was having and after talking for a few minutes she knew exactly what I needed and how she was going to make it happen. My flowers were beautiful and even better than I pictured. She made multiple trips for me to deliver my bridal bouquet early for pictures off the wedding site and then the rest later to the reception location. Joy and her staff were always so helpful. I will never go to anyone else for any other events.

If you are not using Elegant Designs by Joy, you are not using the best! You want a florist who at heart is passionate about flowers and you will know that the second you meet and speak with Joy. I have never met someone so genuine and passionate about anything. Her work is simply stunning. I met with other florists who are just smoke and mirrors. Their work was ok and their prices were the cost of a wedding. Joy puts her heart and sweat into every arrangement and people see that when they look at your flowers. Don't just go with the vendors your venue recommends, do your research and go to Elegant Designs by Joy, you won't regret it!

I can't say enough wonderful things about Joy, her team and her amazing service.

I was amazed at the quality, attention to detail and her willingness to work with us. The flowers she used, the quality and the romantic feel they gave the room blew me away. When SHE delivered our flowers on our wedding day and showed me my bouquet, I cried. Who knew flowers would make a bride cry, but they were so amazing I couldn't help myself.

Our centerpieces were the talk of the night. We had bought lanterns as the centerpieces and Joy took my idea and ran away with it. She filled them with beautiful flowers and had them "spilling out" of the lanterns and onto the table. She also wrapped fairy lights around the inside of the lantern and it illuminated the flowers and gave it a romantic twinkle. Everyone wanted one. We actually had to delegate who was to take them at the end of the night, because so many people wanted them !

I've raved about them to everyone I know since the wedding . If your having a wedding, shower, or any event it's worth it to go down and have a consultation with her. You won't be disappointed.

Joy and her team is so brilliant. Their work as florist is amazing. My wedding was on Sep. 25, 2016. I started to look for florist just two months before my wedding which was very urgent. When my husband and I first met with Joy, she is very nice and patient to explain flowers to us as we don't know much about flowers. After the first meeting, we knew right away that Joy was the florist we were looking for. Then we met again to finalize the flowers and the arrangements, also the decorations for the ceremony gazebo and chairs with the fabric which I was so looking forward. Since Joy wanted to make sure the fabric length for each chair and gazebo column is perfect, they did all the cut on the wedding day. When it came to the big day, my schedule was so tight and I didn't get a chance to speak with Joy before the wedding. I was worried about the fabric arrangement for the ceremony, but when I walked down the isle, everything was so perfect. The fabric over the gazebo and the chairs with flowers were exactly what I wanted and it went above and beyond. All the arrangements are so great and romantic was in the air. Also, the centerpieces, arrangements for our gift card table and sweetheart table were all stunning. Joy even provided with more than what we discussed. After the wedding when I checked the video recorded by my family, I found out that Joy, her husband Kevin, and another person in her team were doing the fabric arrangements very carefully very early in the morning as my wedding was a day wedding. We felt so lucky to have Joy to be our wedding florist. It made our wedding romantic and elegant, and within our budget. You will get 120% value and service for what you paid. Go for Joy if you are looking for a florist!

It was an absolute pleasure working with Joy on the flowers for my wedding. During my first appointment with Joy, I shared a picture of the bridesmaid dresses as well as my inspiration photos and she instantly knew what I was looking for. The bouquets and centerpieces were stunning! The only change I would make if I could do it again would be to pay extra for cake accents. Joy kindly offered to apply light cake accents at no additional cost, but without a cake topper, the cake looked rather plain. I would highly recommend Elegant Designs by Joy!

Working with Joy was an amazing experience! I am not very knowledgeable about flowers one bit, but Joy helped me every step of the way. I shared a few photos with her and she immediately helped my vision come to life. In fact, all of the bouquets and center pieces came about better than I imagined. She worked within my budget to ensure I had a beautiful wedding. Joy went above and beyond on the day of the wedding by helping decorate around the venue as well. Joy went above and beyond what I was expecting. I had almost no idea of what I wanted and was almost going to go with out centerpieces but working with Joy made me feel confident to choose her.
