Masterpiece!
If you zoom in – my face says it all! WOW WOW WOW! The flavors and the execution of this masterpiece was out of this world!
We met Susan in Sonoma for a cake tasting as she came highly recommended by my wedding coordinator at Auberge du Soleil, after that we knew we didn’t need to look any further. Elegant Cheesecakes captured our hearts and taste buds. Susan is sweet, extremely knowledgeable and was kind enough to work with my budget. She sent us 2 samples to try before we finalized the cake flavors – we decided to go with a refreshing flight of lemon butter cake with zesty lemon curd and butter cream, champagne butter cake with fresh raspberries in Chantilly cream, coconut infused butter cake with mango passion toasted coconut mousse. Drooling yet??
I was completely blown away by the handmade flowers on the cake – truly the work of an artist!
Thank you Susan - We can’t wait to order our anniversary cake from you!

We got to sample so many different cheesecakes and cakes during our first visit, it was hard to narrow down our favorites and a really fun experience in her shop in Half Moon Bay! She is extremely talented and I highly recommend using her for your any dessert or treat needs!
She made us a fabulous cake for our wedding and brought my vision to life! The flight cake itself was a total showstopper! People are still asking me about the cake and how we were able to get all these flavors in one slice :)
She gave us a lovely take home cake that was shaped like a present that included different flavors of the wedding cake, that was a special treat on top of everything else!

She was so patient and took the time to sketch out our cake many times to get it perfect. The cake turned out beautiful and exceeded my expectations. It tasted amazing as well and guests commented how good it was. What an amazing cake!!

User2059267 Sent on 03/05/2015Susan did an amazing job for our wedding cake. She really does use the best ingredients, and the cake was so delicious, the price is totally worth it! If you are on the edge about paying a lot of money for a cake for your wedding, I suggest just do it this once. Go for the flight (3 different layers of cake, 3 different buttercreams) and your guests will LOVE it. I figured "when will I ever get such a great cake in my life?" She did always seem busy through emails (couple word responses), which I figured probably saves her a ton of time, so don't take it personal. She is so lovely and friendly in person!
We chose the flight: champagne butter fresh raspberries in chantilly...pistachio with orange sickle cream fresh strawberries...malted milk choc. cake with malted milk butter cream... -

G Sent on 03/09/2016Susan’s cakes are incredible pieces of art that look beautiful and also taste delectable. We first met Susan when she hosted a cake tasting at her home in Sonoma. She was able to accommodate all 6 of us, and gave us plenty of cake and even provided some delicious cake pops and coffee for the whole group. After tasting the sample of cakes, we immediately knew that we wanted her to make our wedding cake. Although the company is called Elegant Cheesecakes, her traditional cake is amazing. We decided to go with the flight of cakes, where you can choose 3 different frostings and 3 flavors that are incorporated into one slice – this was great as guests did not need to fight over who got what flavor. During the tasting, she provided us with ideas that she had used for past cakes and took the time to understand what we were aesthetically looking for in our cake. That evening, she emailed us a sketch of the cake design. The tasting was a wonderful experience and made us feel at ease.
When we saw our cake the day of the wedding, we were very impressed. It must have taken her hours to handcraft the white chocolate roses that garnished our cake. Even further, for the monogrammed piece, she meticulously wrote our initials using the same font we used in our invitations. Another aspect we really like about Elegant Cheesecakes is the present cake - a smaller, separate cake that Susan gives the bride and groom to enjoy the night of the wedding. Even further, she gives a complementary cake to celebrate the bride and groom’s 1 year wedding anniversary. Overall, the fact that we often find ourselves craving her cake should attest to how amazing her creations are.

Sorry about pricing but fresh, good ingredients are expensive and if you consider fresh fruit it runs up the bill! We use imported chocolate paper for our detail fork and that is more delicious and taste alot better than the fondant alternative! No Fondant here at ECC!
Our attention to detail is done by skilled seasoned professionals...so I guess that saying is true 'Beauty cost!' You only get married once so don't settle for less!
