Thick hair tamed to glam for beach wedding!
Michelle made my bridal hair dreams come true. From our trial, she was incredibly kind and hands on. It’s also worth noting that I am a bride that works in the wedding buisness for over a decade and commuting from NYC.
For my wedding day, my hair was BREATHTAKINGLY STUNNING. It also held up for my beach ceremony in 92 degree weather. She defined my natural curls and gave me a Disney’s Belle inspired hairstyle.
She also styled 4 other family members to perfection.

Michelle took my 1920s glam to the next level! She was incredibly sweet and lovely even coming all the way down to Pass-A-Grille beach at 7 (!!) AM on a Monday to ensure my female family members and myself look as fabulous as possible.
I look at the photos and I cannot believe how beautiful she helped me look. It's me, but it's the absolute best version of me which is more than what anyone could ever want for their wedding. The birdcage veil, the hollywood waves. She nailed every single aspect of my look.
I had a small wedding so instead of a wedding party I had Michelle take care of my mother and sisters and I cannot thank her enough for making them feel as beautiful as they are. My mom was very pleased with how her hair looked and one sister we describe her hair as "being finer than frog's hair". Healthy, but so fine textured there's not much anyone has been able to do with it. Michelle was able to work magic and style them so they looked so lovely.

Michelle did such a great job on my hair and makeup. What I wanted was simple and elegant, and that's exactly what she gave me. She did a great job communicating with me in the weeks, days, and hours up leading up to my wedding day. She conveniently came to my hotel to do my hair and was so easy to talk to and a very sweet person. Finding and messaging makeup artists was one of the most stressful things about planning my wedding, but just save yourself the trouble and contact Michelle because she is the best.
She is very professional and prompt in her replies and I’ve already recommended her to two of my friends. She is a fantastic makeup artist and hair stylist. She has a very gentle touch and a great personality, so getting worked on by her was very comfortable and nice. She puts you at ease and makes you look beautiful. Wonderful experience with her for both my engagement and wedding hair and makeup.

I, a COVID bride, was in a pinch to find someone to do hair and make up for myself, bridesmaids, and moms for our October beach wedding. Michelle's company was recommended through our wedding coordinators as a preferred vendor. I reached out to several companies to get quotes, Michelle was the first to respond and had a straight forward list of pricing and what all she offered. We finalized things, signed a contract, sent a down payment, and were ready to go for October. We had a big enough group that there were 3 ladies needed to get all of us done in time for the wedding. Michelle, Kayla, and Amber were AMAZING!! My choice of bridesmaids had a wide variety of personalities and craziness and they were so patient with us! They were fun and hopefully enjoyed our antics while doing our Pinterest inspired hair and make up. We showed them pictures and they did exactly that! They are great at their work and great women in general! I will recommend them to anyone doing a beach wedding in the St. Pete area!

Michelle did a wonderful job! I gave her a very vague description of what I wanted my hair and make up to look like: hair pulled out of my face and natural make up. Within an hour she transformed me into a Malibu Barbie! I felt absolutely stunning. She made me feel comfortable in my hotel room where I got ready for my wedding. She was super flexible with the set up, having very limited space using a dresser top and a futon to arrange her necessities. We chatted about our walks of life and what brought us to Clearwater Beach.
Lastly, I’m a nurse and having dealt with Covid from the very beginning of the pandemic, sanitation was a huge issue for me. She assured me that she used disposable items as much as possible and everything else was completely sanitized.
Michelle rocked it! I would recommend Elegant Brides Hair and Make up to anyone!!!!

I feel the price was very affordable for the quality and the time they they put into everything. They traveled to my home making everything effortless for me on my special day! We all felt an instant connection with Michelle and her daughter, Brooke. We hired them just from their reviews but felt like they were close friends of the family while they spent time beautifying all of us. Michelle did an amazing job with all of our make-up, and Brooke absolutely nailed the bride's hair! She recreated the exact picture that she had showed her. Hair and make-up for five of us was completed so quickly and so beautifully we were all astounded! These women are experienced, talented, kind, and so easy to be around! They did an excellent job. I had very difficult bridesmaids and they did a great job accommodating us. Everyone’s hair and makeup was beautiful. I have been in other weddings before and used other companies, but no one has ever done the job they did. I am very happy with the job they did and would use them again. I came all the way from the uk to get married in Florida. I couldn’t of asked for better experience. She made my wedding day so relaxing and stress free. She did such a wonderful, beautiful job on my hair and make-up too. I highly recommend her to anyone :-) thank you once again Michelle.

Wow! My wedding party and my makeup was flawless. I came in with blemishes all over my cheeks that I was certain would not be able to hide, but they did it. Michelle does amazing airbrush makeup and Brooke did an amazing, ABSOLUTELY STUNNING, hair do's for everyone. They are so affordable, on time, and seriously dedicated to what they do. I did not do a trial run and I was so scared that it would be a major mistake, and what I envisioned would not be accomplished. HOWEVER, THEY DID IT!!! They did better than I could have imagined and they were so fast. Everything ran on time and they are so humble and supportive. I loved having them as part of my special day, and you will too. Don't doubt hiring them. These are the people you want on your day. I know others have great reviews too and you'll be comparing everyone, but there is no doubt in my mind this is the vendor for you. The lighting at my venue wasn't great, and they worked under cramped conditions, but it made no difference to the suburb outcome I received. Hire them, it'll be the best decision you make when hiring your hair and makeup vendor. I promise. Thank you, Michelle and Brooke. You made my day truly amazing. I can't say how much I appreciate you both.

They were absolutely amazing!!! I have been in serval wedding in the past and my hair never looked good when it was done. I am a blonde and it would always end up looking crunchy and fake. So for my own wedding I was skeptical, but this team was awesome. They came onsite which was so convenient and all the girls were so pleased with makeup and hair. They made me look awesome for my wedding day and I will be forever grateful!!! I would highly recommend!!!

I had a great experience with Elegant Brides for my wedding day. I had a destination wedding so I booked them without any trial. They were easy to get in touch with. They showed up at the hotel I was staying in on time and they were very sweet! I had tons of compliments on my hair and makeup and all my bridesmaids looked great. Couldn't have been more happy! Michelle was amazing!!! Extremely professional, friendly, and talented. Michelle was very attentive and made sure I was 100% satisfied before she packed up a single item. She showed up exactly when she told me she would and finished right on time. So easy to work with. The make up and hair lasted the entire night, including the lip stick without needing any touch up at all.

Michelle was absolutely amazing! I showed her pics of what we wanted on the day of the wedding and everything turned out exactly the way we wanted. The bonus was she came to our hotel that we were staying so there was no traveling for us since we were from out of town. It was so convenient for us. And she’s very affordable! I love that you can view her work and pricing on her website. Other stylist I checked out didn’t have that and that was really what drew me to her. I knew from her website she was who I wanted doing my hair and makeup for my big day! I would recommend her over and over to anyone!

Great service and I was blown away at how they can do 10 different hair styles, make them all unique, but yet make them all flow for the wedding party. The makeup was also perfect. Stayed on all night through all the tears in dancing.

Michelle did my hair and makeup for my wedding and did an INCREDIBLE job! I have extremely thick and hard to deal with hair and so I was really worried about my hair staying for my wedding day. I was also coming from out of town and had no place to do a hair trial so Michelle was extremely accommodating and we were able to do a trial at her in home studio. Her communication throughout the whole process was fantastic, confirming the week before and the day before with me. On the day of the wedding, she was early and actually beat my bridal party to the venue. We had a limited time frame and she worked quick but thoroughly. Everything turned out AMAZING, better than I could have imagined. Both my hair and makeup were exactly what I was dreaming of!. I can't thank you enough, Michelle!!

I'm from St. Louis and I have to say, I've been going to the same hair stylist for 25+ years, so having my hair done for my wedding by someone I had never met was a little nerve-wracking to me (I was unable to make it down to Florida for a trial run). My nerves were put at ease when I met Michelle and Brooke - they were absolutely incredible and went above and beyond my expectations. My Matron of Honor and I referred to them as the "glam squad" and seriously wished we could hire them all the time! Michelle was super responsive to all of my emails and the numerous changes that happened the weeks before my wedding (and the day of...). Both women were so professional, personable and I can honestly say I've never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day. Amazing Michelle was honestly professional and communicated well. I loved my hair and make up for my wedding. I wanted to relax and wanted to not worry about my hair and makeup on my big day and with her service, I got that and so much more. My hair and makeup even help up over 24 hours for my trash the dress in the rain and the ocean the next day and for a stage play of The Addams Family the next day. This lady is magic really hire her. Do your research have some realistic goals in mind too. My hair is really long and I have been growing it years for my wedding day it's about mid-back now. I know I wanted a pin-up style make sure you talk and give her an idea of what you want she is amazing she will try to make it happen.

The women that came to do our makeup were amazing. Their services are affordable and they were so understanding. There was so much madness surrounding them and they worked through it. At one point I started crying and they were so patient with everything. My bridesmaids and mother looked incredible! Michelle always answered all my questions so fast and made everything very easy to set up. They arrived on time and ready to go. They were both amazing and did AMAZING work. Brittany with Elegant Brides did an outstanding job with Bride and Mother of the Bride hairstyles. We went for a trial run a few weeks before and Brittany listened to what my daughter wanted and styled it perfectly! We met her at a house, not a salon, so we were just a little wary of the safety of that initially...but no worries at all! Brittany is super sweet, bubbly and professional. Totally safe environment. On the day of the wedding, Brittany did an amazing job on both of us and the style lasted thru the windy beach ceremony! We couldn't be happier with the results. I feel fortunate to have found this great company to do my hair and makeup! Being halfway across the country, I thought it would be hard to communicate but they were super responsive and great with questions. The run through was very relaxed and Michelle had no problem tweaking things a bit for the big day. Everything turned out perfectly and it was great having her come to me instead of me going to a salon. One less stress!

Honestly I have had my hair and makeup done on several occasions but I have never felt more beautiful! Michelle and her team did the hair and makeup for my bridesmaids as well as family members. Everyone was thrilled with their beach wedding look. I can't wait to get our photos back!

She did a wonderful job on my hair and makeup . As a hairstylist myself I was very worried about having someone else doing my hair and makeup but Michelle put me at ease and did a beautiful job and made my wedding day stress free and the outcome was perfect ! So glad I decided to go through elegant brides .

Michelle and her team did a great job on hair and makeup for for me and my friends for my wedding. She promptly responded to all my emails and made me feel at ease, given this was a destination wedding. I wasn't sure how I wanted to wear my hair or makeup and asked them for suggestions and to do what they felt best. They did a great job. My hair and makeup turned out beautifully, so did my friends!

Michelle was amazing! She came to my hotel room for both the trial run and my big day. She was extremely professional but also very friendly and eager to do what she could to make my wedding day perfect. The other stylist that came on the big day was also incredible and very friendly. My hair and makeup both turned out fabulous. I couldn't have asked for more. I would recommend Elegant Brides to anyone.

I am so happy I booked with Michelle and Elegant Brides. I had my hair trial with Brooke and she came with a second girl (i'm sorry I forgot her name but she did a GREAT job on my step mom, MIL, and bridesmaids hair). The girls came to the house on time and got straight to work on our hair. Everyones hair turned out amazing and reflecting each girls personality well. I loved my hair trial and somehow my hair on the day of looked even better!

I found Elegant Brides from a preferred vendor list my wedding planners gave me. I'm so glad I chose them! I had a trial with Brooke and she did exactly what I wanted with my hair. It was so pretty I didn't want to take it out! On my wedding day Michelle and Brooke came to do mine, my sisters, and two flower girls' hair. They were amazing and made everyone look so beautiful!!! This was by far the best hairstyling I've ever had done!

Michelle was a pleasure to have in our home from the moment she walked through the door,
I was made to feel like nothing was to much trouble for her and received everything I asked for, my mom has scarring on her face due to cancer treatment and was very concious of this showing however not only did Michelle put mom at ease she styled her hair and did her make up sympathetically to her needs.

I found Michelle online and am glad I did! I did a makeup and hair trial with her for upcoming vow renewal and hired her for the event. She listened to exactly what I wanted. I looked amazing thanks to her. She is professional and talented! She helped make the vow renewal for my 20 th anniversary better than could have been imagined.

I got married on June 11 this year and they were amazing. The trial was great, seeing what I wanted to do ahead of time so I could make up my mind. The day of they brought 3 people to get all our hair and makeup done, there were about 10 of us total. They were super professional and very speedy in getting everything done on time for pictures. Everyone's hair and makeup came out fantastic and lasted throughout the night. I upgraded my makeup to the airbrush and loved it! Also bought hair extensions, as I have really thin hair and wanted some volume, and they were great about telling me where to go to get them and placing them the day of. Everything came out perfect! I would definitely recommend them to others!

My wedding was on 5/21/2016. I first contacted Michelle at the beginning of the year and she helped me on the phone the first time we spoke! She gave me advice even before we had a contract in place. When we did set up a trial run she listened to all of my ideas and helped me by giving recommendations on what she thought would look great together (I kind of knew what I wanted, but I needed a little bit of advice--so she was definitely helpful)!! Of course it turned out fabulous and so I decided to go with Michelle for the wedding day. Not only did she do an amazing job on my hair and makeup (seriously, really amazing job), but she also accommodated my family. She went above and beyond doing what she needed to do. The week of and even up to the night before the wedding I was asking if I could add people for her to do hair and makeup for and she really came through. With all of the madness of a wedding, it was really nice to have someone as reliable as her there. Thank you Michelle!

We were so happy with the fabulous hair and makeup provided by Michelle on our wedding day. It was perfect! My sister said it was the first time she has had her hair done and gotten exactly what she wanted- and she's picky!! Everyone looked perfect, and the makeup lasted through the entire night. My updo lasted over 48 hours! The services provided exceeded our expectations, and we highly recommend you choose elegant brides for your wedding!
