Eight Hands Photography was different right from the very first phone call. Their style of photography is for people who are IN LOVE and are jazzed beyond all belief to be getting married, so at the start of our call they asked us to talk about each other and our story. I will never forget that call because it gave us a moment in the planning process to reflect on what we love about each other and how we had arrived at our engagement. We knew by the end of the call these were two people we could hang out with all day and could trust with our photos.
Both our engagement photos and wedding photos were done by Eight Hands. The engagement shoot was so much fun, and Rue has such a wonderful eye for finding the special shot in any location. Rue and Bryan checked in with us leading up to the wedding, getting the info of our other vendors and ultimately offering to shoot video for our wedding in addition to photography.
We are so thankful to have chosen such a talented and fun team to take our wedding photos and video. Our photos and videos are STUNNING, and Eight Hands managed to capture every single one of the little details we put together for the day.
Making our wedding album was so hard because we genuinely had 800+ perfect photos to choose from. We received our wedding album last week and are blown away by it. Seeing those photos at the scale of the 12” album is so special and we will cherish it forever. I left their office for the last time saying “they’re taking every family photo of us forever,” because I don’t want to say goodbye! Book them if they’re free you will not regret it! -

Rue and her team did an absolutely fabulous job on our wedding. They made me and my husband feel super comfortable and ensured they got all the shots we wanted. Rue knew precisely when to direct & when to sit back to get that perfect candid shot. The photos came out great at a super reasonable price which is hard to find with wedding vendors. 10/10, can't recommend enough! -

One of the best/easiest decisions we made while wedding planning!
Rue and Bryan were INCREDIBLE to work with for both our engagement photos and our wedding photos. They helped us to feel so comfortable during both our engagement session and on our wedding day, and were a seamless part of the wedding team making the big day so fun! They both have an incredible artistic eye and the final product they deliver is top quality! They also noticed small things during the day, like my husband was struggling with his allergies and Bryan went to get him nasal spray on our big day 😅 would 1000% recommend this incredible team at Eight Hands to capture your beautiful day! -

We worked with Eight Hands for both our engagement photos and our wedding photos and we couldn't have been happier with the experience! Rue and her team were professional, friendly, and an absolute pleasure to work with. We were consistently updated throughout the process leading up to the wedding and Rue was always responsive and willing to answer any questions we had. Once wedding day arrived, she and her team were a joy to have at our special day and felt more like wedding guests than photographers. Between the photos from the engagement shoot and the previews I've gotten of the wedding photos, the quality of the work and the photos matches the professionalism and positivity of the process. We would absolutely recommend them for anyone looking for great photos and a great experience! -

From our very first meeting with Rue and Bryan, we knew we needed them as our wedding photographers. You can tell immediately that they truly care about helping you capture your wedding day, and were a reassuring voice throughout our wedding planning. They came to every planning meeting with tips, recommendations, words of wisdom, words of reassurance... you name it. They were so incredibly helpful, prompt, and just a joy to work with. We had so much fun on our wedding day, and Rue and Bryan were amazing at making everyone feel comfortable and have a great time. We love Rue and Bryan's style because it's the perfect mix of classic wedding portraits and more artistic photos we will truly cherish forever. Our families and friends have been raving about our entire album. I am so thrilled that we booked Eight Hands for our wedding, and would do it a million times over! I cannot say enough great things about Rue and Bryan with Eight Hands Photography! We were recommended them for our wedding through a member of our bridal party. From the initial connection to the final delivery of our gallery, Rue and Bryan have been nothing but professional, prompt, warm, caring, and enthusiastic. Pictures were something that we valued a lot when we were planning our wedding and picking vendors as they are something that last a lifetime. We cannot be happier with the photos. My husband and I, both of our families, are in awe with the final product. Rue and Bryan captured the love, elegance, warmth and happiness so perfectly and I honestly cannot thank them enough. So happy we found Rue & Bryan to photograph our wedding! They truly went above and beyond. We have amazing photos to remember our wedding day by and they absolutely saved the day by getting our ceremony on video when our videographer did not show up!
In our initial zoom call, we knew right away that we would be going with Eight Hands Photography for our wedding day. Not only did Rue & Bryan do an excellent job at explaining the different package options and working with us on swapping some items within the package to make it just right for us but they are also so genuinely kind and fun to be around!
We have such stunning and unique photos from our wedding day that we now have displayed all around our home thanks to their gift of some prints of our favorite photos and to Rue’s help with designing our perfect wedding album. We are so thankful for how accommodating Rue was when it came to getting our wedding album designed as we were a state away and weren’t able to meet in person, after a bit of back and forth with revisions we finalized the album and received it in the mail very quickly after!
Outside of our wedding, Rue took the time to set up a call and talk with one of our good friends who has recently started her own photography business to provide mentorship - once again showing how genuinely kind this team is!!
We love Rue & Bryan with Eight Hands Photography and could not recommend them enough :) -

Amazing experience!
What can I say about Bryan and Rue? We were looking for a family owned photographer and they were recommended to us. They matched exactly what we were looking for! They took the time to talk to us about what we were looking for. I wanted our photos to tell the story of our wedding day and they absolutely nailed it! They always were quick to respond when I had questions. They took the time to detail everything and didn’t miss a beat. I would recommend them to everyone! You cannot go wrong hiring them to be apart of your wedding day! -

Couldn't Be Happier
Eight Hands Photography is the absolute best! I was a bit picky when choosing a photographer because I'm a photographer myself, and Rue and Bryan just exceeded expectations. They were very communicative about each process from the engagement photos to the wedding day to revealing our finished photos. So many of our guests commented on how friendly and on top of things they were. I don't think there was a single moment they didn't manage to capture. The detail shots are gorgeous. The candid moments of getting ready are some of my absolute favorites. The dancing shots make me laugh as if I'm still on that dance floor, and yet I'm also honored to be able to look at them for the rest of my life because they're just that beautiful. I'm also a huge fan of their lighting techniques that really make each photo more dynamic. -

More Than Five Stars
I cannot recommend Eight Hands Photography enough! They were our favorite vendor to work with through the whole process. Both Rue and Bryan are professional and personable. They were genuinely interested in and dedicated to capturing our love story and photographing the details of the day. They consciously planned video chats to make sure everyone knows what to expect and to go over day of details / timelines. Rue has a calming presence that was needed for me to calm my pre-ceremony nerves while in the bridal suite. They have everything to offer if you are looking to take care of your guest's as well with a one of a kind photo booth with photos and gifs. The bride and groom get access to all the media from the photo booth - we enjoyed looking at them on our honeymoon. If you are looking for a creative photography style, they got you! They focus on the candid shots and capture all the emotion with them. One of my favorite things about them is that they go above and beyond with a photo reveal party!
Not only where they the BEST day of, they also have amazing options for a photo album. My husband and I now have stunning photos to show everyone our special day for the rest of our lives in a gorgeous album. -

Best photographer duo!
When I met Bryan and Rue it was at a wedding expo. I was on the hunt for finding the perfect photographer duo to capture our special day. When choosing my vendors I wanted to find those who were more passion focused on their work and not cut and dry business only. Without reading any reviews I simply got to know this husband and wife duo, looked at all their work and realized I found two people that are extremely passionate about the work they do and I may have just found the missing link for our big day. These two have infectious personalities and are you official hype team from beginning to end. The quality and quantity of photos they provided allow us to relive our wedding over and over again. The best part about having these two is they take the time to get to know you prior to your wedding, have multiple check ins, assist with your timeline, throw your your own photo reveal party, and assist you in creating your album. I will forever keep these two in mind when we need yearly family photos done! If you are on the fence, choose Bryan and Rue. Beautiful photos! Fun couple to work with!
My husband and I loved working with Bryan and Rue! From the first meeting in June, to our wedding in February, to now, they have been kind, helpful, and so professional. They captured beautiful photos that I am absolutely obsessed with, and I’m so excited to get our beautifully designed (by Rue) wedding album! They’re super up-front with you from the beginning on what you can expect, when you’ll see your photos, and they help guide you during all of the wedding craziness to determine even the timeline of the reception! We’d definitely recommend! Not to mention, Bryan worked some magic with the groom photos! The photos of my husband were taken in a dingy, cream hotel room and Bryan totally transformed the space with his photography!Eight Hands Photography's reply:

The Greatest Wedding Photographers
Eight hands should be your first and last stop when it comes to looking at wedding photographers. I came across their Facebook page randomly one night and it they are our greatest wedding find! They are the sweetest and funniest couple with such a high quality set of skills! Our engagement and wedding photos came out so amazingly and we have received so many compliments! They always make a point to get one “special photo” of the bride and groom and they did not disappoint! It’s our most talked about photo! Bryan and Rue and are definitely the full package- personality and quality! So easy to get along with, they felt like family the moment we met them!
We are looking forward to using them in the future for family photos! -

Best Decision We Made!
Such a great duo that will do everything in their power to make sure your wedding pictures are perfect! My wife and I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. Their attention to detail and style were unmatched. Having two photographers at our wedding created such unique angles and vantage points that we couldn’t have gotten elsewhere. Best Photographers to have on your wedding day!
I met Rue for me and my wife`s engagement photos! She was so professional and educational about what photos look great and how to get the best shots all while cracking jokes and being very personable! Wedding day came Rue was with my bride & Bryan (first time meeting him) was with us groomsmen. I was blown away by Bryan bringing the Same energy Rue has and fitting in great with us guys! Photos were pain free for me and the groomsmen, Bryan has great ideas on cool photos for the guys that I love to look back on today. When we got to the venue and throughout the night Rue & Bryan teamed back up & snapped All the great moments that me and my wife did not get to see from being busy getting married! The two of them were amazing a-lot of the time I did not think they were even there! After the wedding they put together this amazing slide show of our wedding day with all the pictures that they took. Once again I was blown away at all the Great memories they caught when I did not even SEE Rue or Bryan snapping the photos! Overall I would tell anybody who needs a photographer to call Eight Hands Photography first! Great product they produce and more importantly great down to earth people to work with. Rue spent time getting to know us as a couple and the style we wanted for our big day. She made pictures stress free & endured 30 degree weather to get the most dreamy shots. Eight Hands Photography was by far one of the favorite things we spent money on for our wedding! You know what they say? A picture is worth a thousand words, but these were worth so much more! They’re something we will always have to look back on and remember our special day 😍
Rue and Bryan are not only great photographers but they are also great humans! They were punctual, professional, personable, relatable, organized, and truly helped make our day stress free. They worked seamlessly with our videographer and all of the other moving parts of our wedding. From meeting them prior to our wedding we felt like we already knew them! They had great ideas (because let’s face it my husband and I are not supermodels, so we required some “coaching”)
Our day wouldn’t have been nearly as special as it was without them there! Hopefully in the future we can convince them to take some family pictures for us 🤷♀️🥰
