Effie’s Bridal made me feel special and valued. They listened to my likes and dislikes and helped me find THE dress. Having the store to myself I felt special and honored to find the most important dress in my life. -

I truly had the best experience at Effie’s Bridal! Andrew was my bridal consultant and really made it a memorable experience. This was the seventh (yes, seventh) store I went to in search for my wedding dress, and was hands down the best! There was not only a wide selection of stunning dresses, but the customer service is second to none. There was no pressure to purchase and no sales pitch. I didn’t feel rushed. Andrew helped us pick out several dresses and after the first appointment with Effie’s, I ended up cancelling my appointment at a different store to come back later that week to say yes to my dream dress (of course it was one Andrew picked out!). When I picked up my dress, it was perfect. I actually ended up ordering a bracelet that Andrew had styled with my dress as well. On my wedding day, I felt beautiful in my dress and got so many compliments on the dress details. I really couldn’t recommend Effie’s Bridal Trunk or Andrew more! -

The whole staff at Effie's is just wonderful! Piper was my consultant, and made me feel comfortable and beautiful (she actually picked my dress!). It was my first time shopping for dresses, and although I knew what I wanted she helped make it a reality. When I said yes to my dress, they popped champagne for me and my crew - so fun!
We also got our bridesmaids dresses through Effies, and that entire process was wonderful too. I was struggling to decide on dresses for my girls, and they were very patient with us.
After the wedding, I brought my dress into Effie's to get preserved, and once again that entire process was seamless. I highly recommend Effie's to everyone! They have gorgeous gowns, but their staff is what makes the experience. -

This was my second place going to try on wedding dresses. I was the type of bride that hadn't ever thought about my wedding, what I would look like or what I wanted, so I wasn't sure what to expect. The first place I went just didn't have the selection I was looking for, was crowded and overwhelming. What I love about Effie's Bridal is they didn't make me feel any pressure to find something and I was able to try on a variety of styles and figure out what I liked the most and what looked best on me.
My consultant was very professional, kind, and knowledgeable about things such as maybe not having such a long train since our wedding was in Sedona, AZ and not having too much fabric otherwise I would be too warm. She was respectful of our price range, as well as my guests' opinions about the dresses I was trying on also. She was really intuitive in figuring out what type of dress would be best for me.
I definitely was NOT expecting to have a "bridal moment" but after we narrowed it down to two dresses, the second one I tried on… I cried! It was prefect! I didn't have any second thoughts and all I thought about was wearing my gorgeous dress. They also have a really nice boutique. Clean spaces, separate from other brides trying things on, and I thought a really nice selection of dresses to choose from. I would recommend anyone to go here in search of the "the one!" -

Everyone was so helpful and really cared about finding the perfect dress. They helped me find something within my budget and once the dress arrived they made sure it was exactly what I wanted. The store is SO cute and overall it was a wonderful experience! -

Effie's Bridal trunk is the best. The consultant knew my style better than I did and helped me pick a dress in my budget. They even popped the champagne when I said yes to my dress! Great experience 5 stars (I would give 10 if it were an option). -

Effie’s was great to work with. Walking into the store they were very understanding about price and my wishes. They had so many different dresses to choose from, as well as accessories to choose from. They had many different options in many different price ranges. -

The wedding dress specialist ended up picking out my dress. When I first saw it I thought it had too much bead work, but when I tried it on I fell in love!
I went back to the store with my mother and friends to try more on as well as to get their opinion on the one she had picked out for me. There were some close contenders but the original pick won! They gave us all a glass of champagne which we did not expect and was a great surprise!
I was moving to Ohio the week the dress was purchased and they offered to hold it until I visited in January. I had to get extra length since I am 6' 2". During alterations the seamstress noted the bottom was not cut straight so I had to get it altered so it was the same length.
Overall it was a great experience and would reccomend going here. -

Brittany Sent on 05/17/2016I had an amazing experience at Effie's! They have the largest selection of designers and styles, and the atmosphere is relaxed sophistication, just like they say. From the moment you walk in, you feel at home. You get to wear comfy slippers while you walk around the store and they pop champagne for you and your guests when you say yes to the dress! My consultant, Sara, was so nice and helpful, never pushy. With a short engagement, I needed a dress shipped ASAP. She made sure to get me the one dress the designer had in stock nationwide in my size. She picked out the perfect veil to match my dress too! I'm so glad I said yes to the dress at Effie's! -

Effie's Bridal Trunk was the third wedding dress shop I visited, and they had several dresses that I would have loved to wear on my wedding day - what an wonderful problem to have too many great options! Their manager was a delight to work with, and in the end he helped me choose one that I adored. Somehow the gown had all the elements I came in wanting, yet was still different than I expected. In addition to a beautiful beaded veil, I chose Willowby by Watter's Papillon dress, an ethereal garment with butterfly wing beading on the bodice and dreamy layers of creamy tulle for the skirt. Shy of having another wedding, I am on the lookout for any excuse to wear this dress, which truly made me feel like a fairy princess, again! Thank you, Effie's, for your excellent selection, lovely atmosphere, and friendly staff that helped make all this possible. -

Super unorganized. Every single time we came here they were training someone in and were more focused on that than helping us. I had to help pin my bridesmaids because we couldn’t find our consultant. They didn’t inform my bridesmaids that their dresses were in. They had to be called and asked. BUT they did have a large selection of bridesmaid dresses and I did receive my dress in perfect condition and in good timing. -

My dress fell apart - Horrible experience
Imagine slipping into your wedding dress 30 minutes before your first look. Do you picture the elastic loops holding the buttons on the back falling apart?
Sadly, that’s what happened to me. Instead of being excited and giddy, I was confused and in tears being sewn into my dress, so it would stay shut.
I spent $2k on an Allure Couture dress with Effies. After the wedding I called, provided photos of the elastic that fell apart (my alterations only hemmed my dress, nothing else, and it was the correct size), and was told they would “try” to talk to Allure. Allure is one of their largest vendors.
After weeks of follow up, I was told “sorry, no warranty”. Reading past the fake “!” in the text thread (below), they weren’t responsive and didn’t care. Why would they - They already had my money.
It was and it still is heartbreaking to be treated like that and to have gone through that experience on my wedding day.
Brides - Effies is a nice place to buy a dress, I agree, but if something goes wrong after you leave the store, the don’t stand behind their dresses. It’s sad, but important to know. I’m stuck with a dress that need to be fixed at my own expense.
After weeks of back and forth, Effies offered me new loops from Allure. The same loops that fell completely apart – like, what? Oh and $25 to get them sewn on which we all know does not cover that type of alteration. I said thanks for the insulting texts, no thanks.
Go somewhere else to buy your bridal gown. It’s not worth the heartbreak. -

Amanda Sent on 07/10/2017I found my dream dress at Effie’s. Unfortunately everything that happened after that was a nightmare. I was told my dress would take up to six moths to come in. I waited six months and didn’t hear from them so I called them. They also never called me when my veil came in, but little did I know that was the least of my problems. It took three phone calls to get any information before I was finally told my dress had been delayed and would be there a month before my wedding. I was given a ship date and told it would for sure be there that day and I could come pick it up, but if for some reason it didn’t come in that day they would call me. I showed up to pick up my dress and they still didn’t have it. The girl working that day had no idea I was even coming. The finally got my dress the next week and when I tried it on for the first time it was so tight in the hips it almost didn’t zip. I was in tears as the manager took my measurements again. My bust and waist measurements were the exact same as the day I ordered the dress however my hip measurement was five inches bigger than what the girl had written down. They told me I must have gained weight which is not only rude but a complete lie. Clearly a mistake was made and they chose to blame me instead of taking responsibility for their employee’s mistake. They gave me a 5% discount and told me to take it or leave it. I asked to speak to the owner who refused to take my phone call or call me back. I had to deal with the manager who is unprofessional, rude, inexperienced, argumentative and really just terrible at her job. They refused to acknowledge or even apologize for any of the many mistakes they made and I was left less than a month before my wedding with a dress that I couldn’t even sit down in. This is a terrible shop run by awful people who don’t care about customers once they have your money. They have no business selling $3000 wedding gowns to trusting brides. I would recommend avoiding Effie’s at all costs.
