The Photographer of my dreams
My photographer was my number one vendor on my list and was the vendor I was most particular about choosing. I was engaged for a little over a year and a half so I had some time to search for exactly the person I was looking for. My budget was a little tight for photography but I knew in the DFW area we had lots of options. Since we lived out of state we had previously took engagement photos with another photographer local to us. It was important to me that our wedding photographer could capture the candid moments and types of photography I loved since we were not doing any sessions prior to the ceremony.
I came across Erin at our venues open house. I was able to view her previous work and I knew immediately she would be perfect for us.
Erin was our only photographer at the wedding since our ceremony was around 100 people and oh my gosh you would have thought she had three other photographers working for her. She captured every single moment of our wedding and more! Her personality was bubbly, she made us laugh and feel so comfortable in front of the camera. She even took on the role of a wedding coordinator at times, making sure we hit our timelines, ate our food, and even helped us escape during dinner to capture the perfect sunset pictures.
When we got our photos back from her I was in awe of how perfect they turned out. My friends and family have not stopped talking about the pictures for weeks. They are seriously better than I dreamed. We got so lucky to find her. I will be using Erin in the future and I will continue to recommend her to every person I come across. -

Best Photographer in DFW
I met Erin through some friends of mine. I chose Erin to do our wedding photos because I followed her on social media and knew her quality of work was incredible. I had a couple specific photos I wanted Erin to capture on our special day and she captured them beautifully. On our wedding day, any time I wanted to capture a moment, I would turn around and Erin was right there next to me! Our wedding photos turned out amazing! I am so thankful we chose EE Photography, and you will be too!! -

User1353885 Sent on 09/29/2013My husband and I were on a budget, so we found ourselves looking for a great photographer for a great price. I came across Erin Woolsey (EE Photography) through a friend who had also used her to photo a wedding. We met her at Starbucks and she was kind as could be! She answered all our questions and was very upfront and honest about many of my wedding day issues regarding the timeline and flow of photography. We could definitely tell Erin is a seasoned wedding professional. My husband can be a bit picky, but photos last forever and it didn't take much convincing to agree on Erin. Along with our wedding, I booked an engagement and bridal session with her. She was a total joy to work with throughout the whole process, so happy and cheery and genuinely excited for our wedding day. Emails and phone calls were always promptly responded to and the day of the wedding her and her husband arrived ready to take care of business. She made my husband and me feel so at ease, and it was such a pleasure to do our photos together before the ceremony! That was easily one of the happiest moments of the wedding day. Our reception ran a little long and Erin stayed and kept taking pictures no questions asked. Some photographers just have "it" or they don't. Erin is one of those photographers who definitely has "it". She can make you feel so at ease and comfortable you don't even realize you are having your photo taken, and her final product looks AMAZING! She had such a fast turn around too for us to receive our photos, (under a month). I am so thankful we chose her for our Dallas wedding and she was worth every penny!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

My husband is a professional artist and photographer and when it came to deciding who to book for our wedding photos there was really only one choice: Erin. Ten years later we’re both so grateful. Her work captured the emotions of our big day beautifully. We can be horribly awkward in front of the camera but Erin gave clear direction to each of us and we were able to relax and soak up every golden moment. My friends STILL rave about her wedding photos!
Finally, when your husband’s college friend Kevin Kwan (author of the runaway Crazy Rich Asians, the novel-turned-movie about the upper echelon of Asia’s rich) tells you your $5K wedding “looked expensive,” you KNOW you hired the right photographer! -

User1229212 Sent on 07/06/2013I LOVE Erin's work, so I was really persistent in convincing my husband to go ahead and spend the money for her quality work. We paid for our own wedding, so it was a big deal spending that kind of money on photos. I knew it was a "you get what you pay for" kind of deal, though. However, a year and a half out, I am regretting the decision and wishing we had saved ourselves some money. I love Erin as a person, and I LOVE her work I see on her blog, but I honestly feel we did not receive her best and we did not get what we paid for. There wasn't a lot of direction given as far as how to pose, something my husband and I are completely clueless about, and so we didn't get many pictures of just the two of us at all. On top of that, our reception photos were kind of blah...almost like anyone with a fancy camera could have taken them. They're edited beautifully, but I'm afraid the pictures just aren't that great in terms of what was captured. She had a second shooter there (I believe it was her husband) but I only remember seeing him once or twice the whole 8 hours they were there. The photos definitely don't seem like 2 people were getting them. It seems more like one person rushing from place to place. The few posed pictures I got with my husband are beautiful, but I really expected more. I expected her wimsy and creativity, but most of my pictures are "standard" wedding photos of everyone on the alter in horrible lighting. I don't know if we just came off as boring and plain, or what, but I just feel like we got a lot less than we paid for. The photos are beautiful, but not what I wanted or expected. It pains me to write this because I like Erin so much, but I need to be honest. I would only recommend her if you have money to spare and have a thorough discussion with her about what you expect.
