A wedding film that feels like us
Editing Life Videography was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Matt was incredibly professional and easy to work with throughout the entire process—clear communication, realistic timelines, and a genuinely calming presence.
On the wedding day, Greg and Wade were fantastic. They were friendly, respectful, and totally on top of things without ever feeling intrusive. They captured everything we hoped for (and so much we didn’t even realize was happening in the moment).
We’ve already received our Short Film Sneak Peek and trailer, and we’re thrilled. The editing is gorgeous, the story feels personal, and it brings us right back to the day. You can tell this team cares about the final product and takes pride in their work.

Editing Life is an Amazing Wedding Videographer!
My husband and I are so thankful that we chose Editing Life Videography for our wedding videographer. Matt and his team came highly recommended both from our venue and a previous client and they lived up to the hype! Matt was always on top of communication, able to answer all our questions, and had an easy to fill out form with all of our special requests, etc. On the day of, Matt was clear and professional with all communication, explained how everything would work, and was amazing at capturing all of our important footage! We full heartedly recommend Editing Life Videography. Matt is an incredible videographer! Videography is truly his craft as you could tell he was in his element while shooting. Matt’s enthusiasm and positive energy elevated our experience, which in turn made our wedding video and photographs even better. Not only did he make sure that we received every angle we wanted, but Matt added his own creativity to the shoot and produced amazing results! We hired Matt because of his expertise with drones, but he made sure to deliver so much more. Our wedding highlight reel was incredible and it was timed so well with our wedding song! If you’re getting married you need Matt as your videographer! He goes above and beyond including drone footage, arriving early, and making sure to get the best shots. When she arrived, she didn't waste any time & just jumped right to make sure there isn't anything missed from your big day! You receive so many different clips to watch, from a 1-minute clip all the way to a 2-hour video! They even include extra cut outs that didn't make it into the clips! Amazing & Affordable!
We hired Editing Life as the videographer for our wedding day and could not be happier that we did! We absolutely love the sneak peak and the preview reel we've received so far and can't wait to see the rest. Matt and his brother Wade were the videographers on the day of and they both did an amazing job. When they arrived, they had already taken some drone footage of the Airbnb where we were getting ready and doing our first look shots at and then they came in and got right to work on taking videos of my dress and other details, and even took my dress outside to get some beautiful shots of it hanging from a tree with the flowers in the background. (Of course he asked first if I was OK with him taking my dress outside). They were super professional the whole time and you can tell they knew exactly what they're doing, but you hardly even knew they were there. They worked great together with our photographer and captured all of our special moments and more while somehow managing to blend into the background. They were also super affordable which is amazing given how much is included in the price and the quality of the videos. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a videographer, you won't be disappointed!

My husband and I used Editing Life Videography for our wedding, and we are so grateful with how everything went! Not only did the videos turn out great, but Matt was also a life saver during the wedding itself! His professionalism helped with capturing the right moments at the perfect angles and lighting, and he even went so far as to help put the boutonnières on all of the groomsmen, positioning all of of our guests for a photoshoot, and giving us advice for cutting the cake. When we began the process of booking with vendors, we were hesitant to book a videographer, but it turned out to be the most important vendor!
We just received the sneak peak of our wedding video from Editing Life Videography and we were blown away! We couldn't be more pleased and grateful to Matt for putting it all together. Editing life captured my wedding on 6-10-23 in downtown Annapolis. The team was very professional and coordinated with my photographer to get all the beautiful shots. Little work on my end coordination how I wanted the day to be captured and turned out to be gorgeous. When shopping around this company was more on the "affordable side" but do not let that stop you they are professional and capture wedding beautifully. Matt and team even offered to come set up early to capture more of the 5 hours I hired them to capture. Would recommend for anyone getting married in the area!

We decided to book a videographer less than a week before our wedding and are so thankful to have booked with Editing Life. Matt made the process so easy during the very busy week leading up to the wedding. He was easy to communicate with and prompt to respond to emails.
On wedding day, he was professional and friendly! He fit in perfectly with our other vendors (most of which he already knew).

Wonderful Videographer
I searched and searched for a videographer that would give us everything we wanted for the price we wanted to pay. Matt & his team was able to provide that. We knew our wedding day would go by fast and we didn’t want to miss a memory. Yes photography is wonderful, but videography is such a wonderful addition. My husband, mom and I met Matt and his wife Julia at a wedding expo. At that point I had already contacted over 5 videographers and wasn’t 100% satisfied with any of them. The packages and quality of work that Matt and his team do is most definitely top notch. The team at Editing Life Videography were able to provide extensive knowledge about their services and what to look for and what to stay away from with other videography businesses.
His wife Julia and dad Mike were the two videographers we had. Julia’s eye for those special detail shots and Mike’s friendly personality made our day great! Mike convinced even our camera shy guests to leave us a video memo.
In 7 days from our wedding, we got a sneak peak preview which exceeded our expectations! It was so wonderful to re-live that special day in just less than 30 minutes. We CANNOT wait to see the final product as we know it will be just as wonderful and more!

I could not be happier with our wedding video! If you are on the fence about hiring a videographer, book Editing Life!! The value for your money is incredible. Some moments just call for videography, rather than photography. Julia, our videographer, so effortlessly captured our day and those small moments. Little glances with each other, dancing, hugs with family – all these things look great in photography, but even better on video! Matt and his team are true experts. I loved speaking with Matt during our initial call. I found his honesty and transparency so refreshing in a sea of people trying to “sell you” on their wedding services. His wife, Julia, captured our wedding and we could not have been more impressed. She was so discrete, I hardly noticed her at all! She worked efficiently and was able to flip between the me as the bride and my groom to capture soooo many moments. The “sneak peek” was worth what we paid for the entire service, in my opinion, and was ready in a matter of days!! So, to receive all the wedding content in addition is just magnificent. Hiring Editing Life should be a no brainer!!! This was some of the best money we spent on our day!!! It is so painfully true that the day goes by in a blink of an eye! Editing Life Videography is fantastic! They are always on time and professional, and their videos are the best. We got married in our backyard in 2020 with only 2 guests due to covid, and Matt and Julia were able to get us our ceremony video so quickly to share with family and friends. Having the video of our wedding also allowed us to share our special day with our grandmothers before they passed, which we will always cherish. We then got married again in 2022 with a full ceremony and cerebration with family and friends, and of course had them for video coverage again. We got our sneak peek video so quickly and were able to share it with family and friends again. I should also mention that Matt has a drone - which makes for really cool footage of your venue. Editing Life Videography is the best and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for video for their wedding.

Matt was great through the entire wedding planning process! He was able to set up a live stream of the ceremony so a few guests could watch at home due to COVID-19. So far we have received the sneak peak and it is perfect! Matt and Sandy did a great job capturing our wedding day, and we love the drone shots they were able to get. Matt was very timely and thorough with his emails and communication, which was much appreciated! Great videographer!
Matt was our videographer for our wedding and he did an amazing job! My husband and I booked Editing Life Videography in February 2021 for our wedding in October 2021. Matt was so great to work with leading up to the wedding, during it, and after it! He was one of the preferred vendors for our venue so he really knew our venue and the best places to shoot! We chose editing life videography because they offered a shorter filming time for a price that was in our budget. On our wedding day I honestly didn’t even really notice they were filming, they were quiet and professional. We received our sneak peek video about a week after our wedding which is absolutely fantastic timing. The video was more then I could have ever of expected, totally stunning and beautiful and they captured our vows and so many sweet moments of our wedding! We only had them for 4 hours but the amount of moments captured felt like so much. It is beyond worth the money, if you on the fence, do it, and choose editing life, they are fantastic!

We reached out to Editing Life Video/Matt Buerhaus for his live-stream services about two months before our April 2021 wedding. We reduced our guest list by 60% and wanted our friends and family to be able to take part in our day. Matt was very responsive, friendly, and easy to work with. We emailed three different vendors and he was the first to respond and answer questions before the other two replied back. Matt asked great questions and set up an easy to use live-stream link (no need to deal with logins or downloading a client for those who are technology challenged). Our virtual guests commented on the ease of use and quality of the live-stream. A bonus - the live-stream was automatically archived in Youtube which allowed us to watch it after the wedding. We were very happy with Matt and highly recommend him! Coincidentally, he was also the videographer for my cousin/matron of honor's wedding 10 years ago!

We reached out to Matt about two months before our Sept 2020 wedding, right as we were making the difficult decision to drastically reduce our invite list for our ceremony and to push our reception out to 2021. He was so responsive, welcoming, and flexible right from the start. We still wanted our friends and family to be able to take part in our day, and Matt and Julia not only flawlessly executed a livestream to allow everyone to join from home but also produced beautiful long and short-format footage that we can't wait to show at our 'sequel wedding' reception this year. Very Stressed Bride but Matt is Fantastic
I have not recieved my video but my experience with Matt was so great. I would recommend based on that alone. 2020 threw many obstacles and the wedding day was no different and stress level was at an all time high. But Matt is so personable and provided great support, advice and was a nice presence to have around. I felt like a friend had come to hang and assist. He checked on us but was unobtrusive while filming. I would definitely reccomend him!

One of the very best decisions for our wedding
Oh my goodness- where do I begin? First of all, planning a wedding during a pandemic is no easy task. If there is any silver lining, though, it is that you really see what these vendors are made of. When you have to plan a wedding THREE times, you see just how much patience, flexibility and professionalism is out there, and Editing Life was absolutely incredible.
We were recommended Editing Life by good friends of ours back in 2018, and made the decision to use them based off of Matt's quick communication and excellent work. When we were forced to make many scheduling/location changes, we saw just how great the Beurhauses were.
Before our wedding day even arrived, I was SO impressed by the quick communication, understanding and flexibility of Editing Life. I know that this year has been so tough for wedding vendors, but you would never know because of how great their attitude was during the whole process.
When our wedding day got here, I already felt like I knew Matt and wanted to give him a HUGE hug for all of the help that he had already provided. Like I mentioned before, we had many changes, and he was able to add a live stream and PA system as well for those relatives who weren't able to make it.
The day of the wedding, Matt and Julia were absolutely amazing. They are true wedding professionals and went above and beyond their job descriptions. Julia fixed my dress, Matt fixed the fence at the church, they helped with flowers, I mean they are truly just amazing.
On top of this, we quickly got a sneak peek video that we are absolutely in love with. I really can’t recommend them enough. If you are on the fence, let this be a testament to HIRE THEM NOW.

He accommodated all of our needs throughout our wedding day and was extremely flexible with weather and timing. He worked very well with other vendors as well. Couldn't have been any better.

If I could give more than 5 stars I absolutely would! Mind you, I haven't even seen my video yet! I had my original photographer and videographer bail just a few weeks before my wedding. My DJ, Sal Flip, had recommended Matt saying I wouldn't regret it and man was he right! Matt was incredibly accommodating and had booked with me just 10 DAYS before my wedding! He was so professional and had amazing ideas! I had a bracelet that my mother had bought and was way too big for my wrist, Matt had went and found some tape to try to rig it up to fit! He also fixed my new hubby's boutonniere a million times since it was a little too heavy for his vest, and so much more. Honestly my other videographer dropping out was a blessing in disguise! Matt, we can't thank you enough!!

We never had to worry or wonder about anything. The day of the wedding Julia and Sandy were friendly and professional. They were a pleasure to work with! Where to begin?! Hiring Editing Life and Matt Buerhaus Designs for our wedding videography was hands down one of the best decisions we made for our big day. Working with them before, during, and after our wedding was a breath of fresh air! Many guests didn't know we had a videographer which was exactly what we wanted, candid video of all of our favorite family and friends. Matt (edited and main point of contact) and Julia (wedding videographer) Buerhaus were both professional and personable. The highlight film was waiting for us by the time we returned from our honeymoon which was such a wonderful gift. The short film and full length DVD were also sent to us quicker than we ever expected. They know their craft and it was quite evident in what we received! You will be more than pleased when you decide to hire them for your next special event. I guarantee you will not be disappointed!

Selecting Matt as our videographer was such a great choice! We were looking for a videographer who was professional, creative, and flexible and Matt truly embodied all of these characteristics. Matt was so responsive to all of our emails and wishes for the day of our wedding. He was very easy to work with and flexible with hours of coverage. On the day of the wedding, Matt just went with the flow and was very unobtrusive, which was something that was very important to us. Furthermore, the videos he creates are phenomenal and a keepsake that we will treasure our whole life. You cannot go wrong choosing Editing Life for your wedding videography.

Matt and his team were just amazing! He videoed my sister's wedding 10 years ago, and was just as great with mine! He kept us all calm, enjoyable to work with, and we never even noticed the camera! Also, we got a 15 minute sneak peak a few days after the wedding and it felt like I was reliving my wedding all over again; instantly made me cry ha! I was on the fence about getting a wedding videographer but a couple of friends who did it convinced me and let me tell you- it is SO worth it. Matt's work is incredible and it helps you see all the little touches of your wedding that you planned for a year and may have missed- not to mention all the moments with friends and family. Highly recommend!

I can not say enough good things about Matt Buerhaus and Editing Life Videography. My now husband and I really wanted video of our wedding day, and we were referred to Editing Life Videography from a different videographer who was already booked for our day. Working with Matt was such a positive experience: he communicated with us very timely and gave us all the information we needed ahead of our wedding. He worked well with our photographer and my father raved about just how helpful he was throughout our wedding. We received an incredible sneak peek video just a few days following our wedding, followed by a highlights video and a full film (both digital copies and DVDs) within a few weeks. They were all very well done and Matt was very helpful patient through the personalization process. I’m so happy we worked with Matt and I highly recommend him and Editing Life Videography to anyone considering videography for their wedding

We couldn't recommend Editing Life more! Ahead of the wedding, we spoke with Matt and he was so helpful answering questions and worked with a streamlined process that we very much appreciated. We worked with Meghan and Brandon on our wedding day and they were both truly amazing. They were both so friendly and easy to work with. When we got our sneak peek video less than a week after our wedding (which is unbelievable itself!), we couldn't believe how many amazing things they captured especially since we barely noticed them filming for many parts of the day. We can't wait to see the full wedding video! Editing Life is the best out there and anyone who hires them is making the best decision!

Matt and his team were so fantastic!! From the very beginning to the end Matt gave us quick responses to all of our questions and was so caring and kind and made sure that every detail was thought about. During the day of his team of wonderful videographers captured our wedding in the most beautiful way!! We had a romantic/gothic/autumn wedding at cloisters castle and they were able to capture our unique style with their own unique eye for detail. We were so very excited when we received the sample video very quickly after the wedding and got to watch it while we were on our honeymoon. Then later on when we received the full wedding video we were so very impressed! All of the details were captured and we finally got to see our wedding day! The day itself went by so fast that we didn't really get to enjoy all the hard work we put in to it in the same way that are guests did, because as the bride and groom you are running around trying to do everything on the timeline. But knowing we had a video to watch that would capture everything for us that we missed was such a huge thing to look forward to! Having a video of your day is so worth it!! The day goes by fast and being able to see all of it again really helped assured us that everything did go as well as we had planned and even better. Seeing all of the emotions and happiness on the faces of our guests was amazing too. All of the moments captured were incredible and we are forever grateful! And Matt was so great to work with. Highly recommend!!:)
