My wedding day is one I will never forget & it was all thanks to the amazing vendors I had making my day so special & that included Edgar music entertainment as our DJ. Edgar & our DJ Nicco were so efficient with answering our emails as quickly as they could, but made the process of picking music for our special day so easy. They listened to all our suggestions from when we communicated on the phone & through email and made sure what we wanted was provided on the day of our wedding. I wouldn't change a thing, they provided a variety of upbeat music (Genres that we wanted) to slow dances, giving us a great variety through the night and kept all my guests entertained during all the special parts of our wedding including the cake cutting, first dance, & entrances. I had a great night and so did my guests, so I couldn't have asked for a better DJ. Definitely would suggest them for any event you have!! -

Totally rocked!!! We got lots of compliments for the music we picked to walk into, all the music from the cocktail hour and reception. Even from the venue staff. They made our night wonderful! I was actually asked to get married again so we could all party again LOL. We are picky and they listened to everything we had to say. They are the best! -

Oh, what a night!
Nicco was an incredible DJ for our wedding this March and we would recommend him to anyone we know! It felt like a friend was entertaining us all night long. He knew exactly what to play and for how long. The dance floor was filled all night! Thank you, Nicco, for a perfect night! -

EME was the best DJ! They respected all of our requests and kept the dance floor hopping the whole night. At one point, they had to ask guests to sit down because the staff physically couldn't serve dinner, there were so many people dancing. Couldn't have asked for better! -

We are so happy we picked EME for our recent wedding this November! From our first call, Edgar was so personable and helpful when explaining the different packages, prices, and ways to customize our day. As we moved through the planning process, he helped us navigate any changes we wanted to make and made sure the process was stress-free. We used EME for live music during the ceremony and cocktail hour, a DJ for the reception, and opted for uplighting. Samantha, the violinist, was amazing! This was such a fun addition to the cocktail hour and our guests really enjoyed it. DJ Nicco ensured our mics were set for the ceremony, set up our uplighting, and kept the dance floor packed all night long! He helped keep us on schedule for our speeches and was so interactive with our guests. He played music that everyone enjoyed and truly made the energy of the night amazing! I could not recommend EME enough! -

We were so happy that we chose Edgar music entertainment for our wedding this past October. Edgar and Nico were great to work with, communicated with us very well throughout the entire process. Nico did beyond amazing the day of the wedding. From the first song to the last dance he kept the vibes going and people on the dance floor all night. After the wedding our friends and family raved and kept talking about how amazing the DJ was and how much fun they had! We went with Edgar Music Entertainment after attending another wedding that had DJ Nicco. Luckily enough, EME consistently works with our venue so they were a recommended vendor and we didn't even realize it! Even better, Nicco was available for our wedding as well! Edgar was so so great and we had SO much fun. Nicco was FANTASTIC and we have gotten so many compliments and praises about our DJ and how amazing he was. 20/10…it’s everything we wanted it to be…which was a big party and screaming at the top of our lungs all night. EME (and Nicco) have my highest praise!! -

We had a really great experience with Edgar Music Entertainment throughout both the planning stage of the wedding and the actual wedding day. Edgar was very responsive and made the prep process simple and efficient. On the actual wedding day, the dancefloor was packed the entire night thanks to the band (Skyline Drive), and we received so many compliments saying they were the best wedding band they’ve experienced. The band also played our first dance and parent dances, along with some of the processional songs, live, which was a really nice touch.
I would highly recommend Edgar Music Entertainment and Skyline Drive for anyone considering a band for their wedding! -

We couldn't be happier with Edgar Music Entertainment for our wedding! From the start, Edgar was incredibly responsive and helpful. I found Edgar’s company while searching for a wedding band in North Jersey, and we are so glad we did! We hired the band Hudson Heights, and they were phenomenal—the dance floor was packed from the moment the reception began. Edgar made planning a breeze, working seamlessly with our Maitre D’ to coordinate everything. His communication was prompt, and we always felt like a top priority. The photo booth was a huge hit with our guests, who loved taking home their custom photo strips as keepsakes. Edgar also guided us in selecting the perfect up-lighting color, which looked incredible and enhanced the venue beautifully. Thank you, Edgar, for helping make our wedding unforgettable! -

We hired Edgar Music Entertainment for our wedding and he was a pleasure to work with! He is very responsive to emails and took the time and effort to make sure all of the details were covered and that we could have our wedding in the way that we envisioned it. We had specific musical arrangements that we wanted and they were able to accommodate everything, as well as provided other entertainment such as a photobooth and magic mirror which was a great hit among the guests. DJ George was also a great DJ that helped bring energy to the crowd and accommodated all of our requests. Overall very satisfied with the quality of service provided, would highly recommend for anyone planning a wedding -

From the start Edgar was absolutely amazing. From our first phone call with him, my husband and I hit it off with him. We’re huge country fans and Edgar got that from the start. Over our 2 year engagement, Edgar promptly kept in contact with us and set the day up for success. We had no need to worry about a thing! We wanted live music for our ceremony and cocktail hour and he set us up with one of his artists Brian. Brian was soooo great!! He took our love for country music and made it so personal and played all our favorite songs. Our guests were raving about him!! Edgar personally DJed our wedding and man did he kill it! Kept the beats flowing all night with such a great variety suited for us. And the best part was he ensured that my husband and I got a moment of privacy at the end of the night to dance to our favorite song. Edgar was so laid back yet so professional. We couldn’t be any happier and I guarantee if you book with him, he will set you up with a day full of fun, dancing and good vibes! -

Grateful for Edgar Music Entertainment! Edgar was a pleasure to correspond with for our wedding and was overall very organized and great about checking in with us. DJ George did an excellent job on the day of to keep it fun and lighthearted for all of our guests. We also rented our photobooth through them; we loved the booth, our attendant was very kind, and he also put together a wonderful compilation of the booth photos from the day in a nice booklet. Would highly recommend! -

EME are the best part of the wedding experience!!! Easy to deal with, Compassionate, Understanding, A century’s of combined experience and knowledge makes everything seamless. They bring so much value to the teams and the Bride and Groom and Family, they are almost wedding planners all within the entertainment section of your event. We would not do another EVENT without Edgar, Jen and the Crew. FANTABULOUS!!!!! -

Best DJ for my Wedding!
Music to me is the most important part of a wedding. My husband and I had very specific requests for music from the ceremony to the reception. Our dear friends played guitar and sang for the ceremony as we walked down the aisle. Edgar music set up the entire ceremony sound system and mixed the sound for a perfect ceremony. They even allowed a sound check with our singers to ensure the sound would be perfect. The cocktail went off without a hitch with some jazz music. For the reception, my husband and I did a tap dance as our first dance. I discussed with Nicco that it was important that the music was not too loud so that the guests could hear our tap sounds. The sound levels were perfect. As for the reception, Nicco killed it. All of our guests kept coming up to me saying that the DJ's transitions were on fire. My request was 5 Beyonce songs in a row, and he did not disappoint. The entire night was perfect and I would absolutely recommend Edgar Music Entertainment for your event! -

Edgar and his team are wonderful! Gerry and Jeff were top notch! They perfectly executed acoustic versions of all our favorite songs throughout the night. Gerry worked with me to perfectly execute my musical vision. We received so many compliments on our music and the magic mirror. Edgar and his team are wonderful! I had a destination wedding in April 2022 and at the last minute decided to throw together a party for when we returned home to New Jersey. Luckily Edgar was available for the date I selected! He was super understanding, accommodating, and patient with me as I stumbled my way through planning a 100 person party on short notice. Pricing was fair too- since I wasn’t having your typical wedding reception, Edgar made adjustments on the cost based upon my needs and was flexible with every request I had made. The music was great and they got everyone dancing—All of my guests had a great time! I definitely recommend EME for your next event. -

I wish there 6 or 7 stars to offer here. We hired EME for our wedding a couple of weeks ago, Edgar provided 3 different sets of artists for us. He worked with us to understand our specific vision and wants, and he understood and made it happen. He was professional, attentive, helpful, responsive and communicated amazingly.
First we had a pianist - Russell Norkevich who provided our ceremony music. Russell was fabulous, he nailed the music we requested, had immense talent, and not only that, but when our service was delayed for transport issues he played well past his time allotment to keep the guests entertained.
Then we had the Steve Teti Jazz trio for our cocktail hour - and they were so professional, the sound was amazing, the music was played was exactly right for our setting. The band were so accommodating that when my dad who is an amateur musician asked if he could join them with his harmonica they welcomed him and even asked him to play a couple more sets. They really were quite spectacular.
Then we had DJ Joe G - for the reception / party. Our only real instructions to him were "read the room" and keep everyone dancing all night. Well boy did he do that. His MC'ing was absolutely impeccable, his music selections were great.
I truly can't say enough good things about Edgar / EME and the artists he selected for us. We had so many comments from our guests about the music for all parts of our day.. Truly magical -

We went through Edgar to find a jazz trio for our micro wedding during COVID. He helped me work through any concerns I had, and the band (Oscar Rodriguez Trio) turned out to be INCREDIBLE! They even learned more than 10 songs for us, and all wore masks, were safe, and kind. Everything was well priced and we are so grateful for Edgar's help and the band's effort and talent! -

We had Darren and George play at our wedding celebration, choosing the DJ and Live Music. Our choice could not have been better - this team went above and beyond our expectations. From the time we reached out to Edgar we received fantastic service. A number of our guests reached out to tell us how perfect the music was, and how they knew all the right songs to play. During the party they provided exceptional service by letting us know what was going on and making sure everything was perfect. We would recommend Edgar and his team for any music needs!
