Eddie the Shaman is totally groovy!!

We were absolutely thrilled to have Eddie the Shaman officiate our wedding. As a couple from New York planning a destination wedding at Walt Disney World, we were looking for someone special to make our ceremony unforgettable. From our very first phone call, Eddie's positive energy was immediately contagious, and it was clear we had found the perfect person to guide us through this meaningful experience. Throughout the planning process, Eddie was incredibly professional, reliable, and responsive, making sure every detail was taken care of through numerous emails and phone calls. He is not only friendly but also truly caring and compassionate, and it showed in every aspect of our ceremony. It was, without a doubt, the most beautiful and memorable wedding ceremony we’ve ever experienced. We cannot recommend Eddie enough – you will not be disappointed!

A True Artist

Eddie was an absolutely incredible speaker and officiant for our wedding at the Howey Mansion. As the former teachers of his son, we already had a fantastic relationship with him, but Eddie went above and beyond the call of duty to keep us calm during the entire week leading up to our wedding. A hurricane had threatened to cancel our entire event, and needless to say, we were a little stressed out leading all the way up to the ceremony. Eddie came to us before everything began, however, and helped us to calm our nerves, spoke gently with us and reminded us that everything in life was going to be great because of the trials that we had endured as a couple even before getting married.

As if his presence and calming words weren't enough, Eddie then went on to deliver a stellar performance as the officiant. His voice projection and intonation reflected the exact level of energy that we were hoping for from our officiant, and the crowd absolutely loved him. We laughed together, we cried together, and the entire ceremony was one of the best moments of our lives because of Eddie's passion and care for us on our special day.

We cannot recommend Eddie enough for any wedding ceremony, and we guarantee that you will have lots of laughs and a relaxing environment with him leading the way!

Last minute Orlando wedding

Eddie was 10/10 amazing. Very friendly, professional, and a wonderful officiant. We contacted him a couple of days before our ceremony and we were lucky enough he was available. Overall great experience.

Better than we could have hoped for

Eddie came recommended by our venue, but as soon as I saw his name, I knew that I wanted him to be our officiant. I was familiar with Eddie from his time on The Philips Phile on local Orlando radio and knew his awesome vibe and personality were just what we wanted for our wedding. From our first conversation, his positivity and confidence put me more than at ease with our choice and as the day grew closer, his advice was invaluable in getting us to the finish line. The day of, that calm and positive demeanor settled our nervous almost immediately after speaking together. Our ceremony couldn’t have gone more perfectly, not a beat was missed, and our guests have given us nothing but praise for our choice. We could not be happier with everything Eddie did to help us make our day perfect.

To Infinity and Beyond

Eddie truly was the best decision we made when it came to planning our wedding. Eddie traveled from Florida to Upstate New York to officiate our wedding. Not only did Eddie make our wedding so personable and thoughtful, but he was so helpful through the planning process. Eddie spoke with us on the phone multiple times, was open to suggestion and was a fabulous guide for us when it came to creating our own vows. Eddie even surprised us with a Haunted Mansion themed voice included with our vows. Which is where Travis and I got engaged. He kept the day light hearted and was there to calm any wedding day nerves. He was amazing at keeping everyone aware of their roles during the ceremony. He truly knows what he is doing! Hire Eddie for a personalized touch and an absolute professional! You won’t regret choosing him for your wedding day. So lucky to have had Eddie as our Shaman!

Eddie is the best!!!

Eddie was such a wonderful Officiant! He helped calm my nerves by keeping things light and in perspective. He was very emotionally present and invested in our ceremony being the best it could be. Eddie is amazing. He has a great energy and presence about him. He brings life to the ceremony. My husband had a good vibe with Eddie the moment we met him and so it was a no brainer that we would use Eddie. Seeing him in his element at our wedding - I can say, you need to book him. He made the ceremony special. All of our guests loved him and were talking about how great he did. He also knows how to keep you calm before the ceremony and has tips for the big day.

We couldn't have picked a better officiant for our wedding ceremony. Eddie has such a friendly and light personality that overcomes any nervousness you may have on your special day. Eddie kept the ceremony professional while incorporating humor and really made us feel special on our big day. If you need a memorable ceremony, Eddie is your guy.

Absolutely loved working with Eddie. He provided a lot of guidance when it came to writing our own vows as well as figuring out how we wanted to layout our ceremony. Eddie is the BEST!!!

My wife and I were lucky enough to have Eddie as part of our wedding at the Citrus Club in February. I cannot say enough about how great he was. Wedding Officiant can be a tough decision to make with all the choices, but if you are fortunate to have Eddie as part of your ceremony you have made the right choice. Prior to event communication was handled through email and between Eddie and my planner. I will try to keep this brief and to the point. The Official for the Ceremony sets the tone. He can be as direct and formal or as whimsical and relaxed as you wish. If you are looking for an Official for your Ceremony: THIS IS YOUR GUY!!!
I can’t effectively put into words how helpful, professional, and dynamic Eddie is.
All in one day he served as teacher, coach, and mentor. It was like talking to and working with an old family friend.
We are so very grateful to have had Eddie conduct our Ceremony. I couldn’t imagine it otherwise. Perfect.

Wedding officiant

Full of positive energy and genuine officiant

Eddie was full of positive energy and reinforcement from the start. Our phone call with him a week before the wedding set us at ease as well as hyped us up. We booked Eddie the Shaman after seeing him officiate the wedding of our closest friends. Eddie was always available via e-mail, and we worked on the vows and readings electronically. My husband and I did not want to write our own, so Eddie provided a variety of pre-written options. We were able to combine what we wanted and change some of the wording to reflect our personalities and beliefs. It was a wonderfully non-traditional ceremony, with much laughter and cheer. The ceremony lasted long enough to seem “worth it,” but it didn’t drag on with unnecessary readings. Perfect delivery, easy to work with, and made all the guests feel very comfortable and at ease. Would highly recommend Eddie to anyone looking for a fun, free-spirited, non-traditional wedding ceremony.

What can we say about Eddie or than he is the best Officiant in Orlando. He performed that Ceremony as perfect as you can get and did the vows as we asked. We was funny and brilliant. There is no reason not to hire as your Officiant other than he is already booked. We would hire Eddie again when we renew our vows in the future.

Eddie was over-the-top AMAZING! From our initial consultation through our ceremony, Eddie was attentive, caring, charismatic, and made us feel completely at ease! He not only made me and my wife comfortable, but was sure to include our kids every step of the way since they were part of our ceremony. His wit and charm added that extra special touch that our wedding needed since we requested to keep it light. He knew just what to do keep our friends and family engaged. We would HIGHLY recommend Eddie for any wedding of any denomination as he is armed with the knowledge of many cultures and religions.

Eddie was amazing! We planned our Disney wedding from Maryland, so we never met Eddie until our wedding day, which was nerve wracking at first. We were put at ease through his timely communication and phone call prior to the wedding day. Eddie’s energy was felt by everyone, all the guests raved about him. Eddie was great! From his quick response to my original inquiry to the personal touches he added to our ceremony, I could not be happier. He sent me several options to help me adapt his services to exactly what I wanted. He then added personal touches to our individual situation. We had Eddie officiate our wedding at Walt Disney World in April of 2017. He was extremely friendly and professional in conversations leading up to the big day. Eddie was the best! he was so easy to get a hold of, quick to respond with every question I had, I live in texas and met eddie in person on the wedding day....which can be pretty stressful, but Eddie was early and put all my fears at ease! He helped walk me and my now husband through the ceremony so we knew exactly what to expect on the big day! I would choose Eddie every time!

It is hard to put in words how AWESOME Eddie is!!! We met him at our venue tasting and after talking to him for only couple minutes we knew right then he was the one that we wanted to marry us, which was such a relief because we had no idea where to even began to look to find a officiant because we don't belong to a church or anything and obviously we didn't just want anyone to do it because we wanted it to be special.Eddie most definitely made it special and more! He is very easy going,super supportive, fun and funny. We will highly recommend him to any and everyone I can. If we could afford it we would of paid him triple what we did. Eddie was absolutely the right choice to officiate our wedding. Not only did my husband and I love him, but every guest was raving about him as well. I don't think the ceremony would have been the same if I had chosen anyone else. Eddie was professional from the beginning and responded to all of my inquiries. Eddie also eased my anxieties with the marriage license process by recommending a wonderful mail away service. I highly recommend him and believe it is a mistake to choose any other officiant.

We are so happy to have chosen Eddie Wilder as our Officiant! We knew from the moment our Disney Planner described him that he was perfect for us. He is funny, charismatic, light-hearted, but also extremely professional. He contacted us regularly leading up to the wedding to make sure we had everything taken care of. Eddie reviewed the entire ceremony with us, and even went over a checklist of items to have together that I wouldn’t have thought of. He really helped us to relax on our wedding day and take in all of the special moments. I really love that he made our guest feel like part of our ceremony too. Our wedding was December 9, 2016 at Highland Manor in Apopka. We first met Eddie at a tasting hosted by Highland Manor and immediately fell in love with him! He is eccentric, charismatic, funny, and exactly the type of personality we were looking for. Planning a wedding is stressful but knowing the right person is there to, not only marry you, but to be there as a friend is priceless and takes some of the stress away. Eddie was Amazing at our weeding. We got married almost 10 years ago by Eddie. This June we are trying to make it back to Florida for our 10 year anniversary and want Eddie to do it all over again for us. It was I think the hottest day in June and I was sweating so bad. Eddie had me covered with a hanky to help with my face. He has the most energetic voice that just makes your happy to hear him talk. I am telling you after 10 years later Eddie still is one of the biggest highlights of our wedding.

Eddie was so amazing, not only is he an incredible person but he is also a phenomenal vendor to work with. He took the time to meet with us before anything even started, he made us feel at ease and comfortable right of the bat, which you may not realize how important that it on your big day. He took the time to prep and go over all the details with us and even contacted me shortly before the wedding just to see how I was doing. Eddie was the perfect choice for our small intimate outdoor wedding. He met with us prior to the ceremony where he provided procedural directions and we discussed our preferences. He gave us access to a sampling of his past ceremonies as a base and let us customize our ceremony with our personalized input. The day of the wedding, Eddie acted as master of ceremonies, putting everyone at ease, making the guests comfortable with the "game plan", and assuring those with speaking parts that he was their backup in case of need. As it turned out, this became really important because the groom had laryngitis and Eddie had to be his mouthpiece! Eddie delivered a flawless, heartfelt, and spiritual ceremony even down to incorporating the heron squawking in the background! We organized our wedding through Disney Weddings - on the beach at the Polynesian (highly recommended!). We were hoping to have a friend officiate for us, but unfortunately he was unable to travel at the time. Our coordinator at Disney Weddings sent us a list of officiants. The most important quality for us was a great sense of humor - my husband and I have a hard time being serious, especially during nervous moments - and Eddie was the immediate choice. From first phone call to meeting for the first time on the day of the ceremony, Eddie could not have been more accommodating. As we were out of state, Eddie even arranged a conference call with the three of us to do a complete run-through of the ceremony. Needless to say, on the day of the wedding, there was a lot of laughter, and wonderful memories created with Eddie. We would highly recommend him as a sensitive and caring officiant who isn't afraid of a little laughter during the ceremony. Thank you, Eddie, for memories that will last a lifetime - and the fun of practicing those 7 seconds!!

Eddie was very professional and responsive right off the bat, two things I really appreciated while planning my wedding. He was always available for a chat or quick text, and a week or so before the wedding we spent an hour on the phone - ensuring we worth both on the same page with every single detail. He was also very helpful when it came time to write our vows. He provided examples and really encouraged us to create the beautiful ceremony that we ended up with. He proved his flexibility on the rehearsal dinner night when we had a little miscommunication and had to move the rehearsal time - even though it was his wife's birthday!!!!

On the big day, I couldn't have asked for a better person to marry us. He dressed well and won't be an eye sore in our wedding pics (thanks Eddie!) and during the vows, when things were just too emotional, he knew exactly what to say to help break the ice and allow my husband and I to continue talking and not just sob in to the microphone.

He really was an amazing aspect at our wedding and I would highly recommend him to anyone that is getting married in the Orlando area! Our guests loved him too!!

Too bad there wasn't a 6th star available...

Eddie made our "Special Day" extra special. My wife had "interviewed" a few officiants. None connected. They all sounded competent. But they all sounded...the same... But within 30 seconds of speaking with him...we knew Eddie to be "the one". We had a certain idea for the wedding. And we knew it would take a special person to pull it off. My wife wrote the vows in all of their romantic splendor. And she gave me her blessing to write the "ceremony". It was interactive and challenging. I truly believe that had we not found Eddie...it would not have been the same. Especially with the challenges thrown at us mere days before the wedding was first scheduled.

Eddie is calm...thoughtful...incredibly fun...simply exudes positive energy...and truly understands people. A true professional in every sense of the word.

I could gush on about him. He is the Real Deal...

Despite Eddie’s delightfully eccentric radio personality, he is truly a professional when it comes to business. The whole process of putting together the ceremony was simple and painless. He came to our rehearsal the day before and walked us through EVERYTHING. I had more or less focused all my time and energy into the details of the reception and sort of forgot all about the ceremony. I had one of those freak out moments (you know, when all the blood drains from your face and hits like a rock in your stomach, yah one of those!) where I realized I had *no* plan for the ceremony but Eddie had it all worked out and it all came together seamlessly. He was kind and thoughtful and really helped us feel special on our special day. He performed the ceremony perfectly and we got nothing but glowing compliment from our guests. Maybe most importance, Eddie was accessible and prompt. Very easy to get a hold of, willing and able to meet in person when needed and corresponded quickly. Wouldn’t change a thing…can’t recommend him highly enough!!!

My wife and I were married at Walt Disney World in November, 2013. When you book the wedding package with WDW, they send you a long list of officiants from which to choose. Most looked very traditional, but as a second marriage for both of us, we were looking for something a less formal but still classy. Eddie Wilder seemed different than the rest, and boy was I right. I called him to discuss what an Eddie ceremony might look like, and he was instantly my hero. He was enthusiastic, non-judgemental and very engaging. Eddie took the time to discuss what we wanted from our ceremony, and emailed us some (anonymous) previous ceremony language to help us develop our own special event. He spoke with me and my wife multiple times to work through what we wanted, and made sure he understood our needs. On the day of the wedding (his birthday, mind you) he showed up early, put us instantly at ease, and guided us through everything. Some might consider his personality a little offbeat, but I found him very refreshing. Most importantly, he was very professional. Eddie made sure our ceremony was a perfect expression of what we wanted - relaxed, joyous, and loving. In retrospect, Eddie was the only choice we could have made. I highly, highly recommend him.

Eddie performed an amazing ceremony for my wife and I at Disney's Canada Epcot Pavilion. He has a great way of making you feel at ease but also reflect on life; love; and the future you can look forward to after your important day. I have to say he has very profound insights into the spiritual side of relationships.

We shared tears of joy and laughter with him in a ceremony we'll always remember. He made my wife cry tears of joy but also helped keep her calm through the vows. He was very professional and helpful in planning out the ceremony and vows in advance. I highly recommend him for anyone looking to get married at Disney (or anywhere in Florida for that matter!). I can't say enough about how great he was.

Eddie is so much fun. He's a super positive and happy person - more so than anyone I've ever met, and it's genuine. He put my husband and myself at ease right away when we first met him. He doesn't seem to have a stressed-out bone in his body, and it really helped on a day where there's possible stress at every turn! And he somehow manages to be completely at ease while still being 100% organized and prepared.

Eddie made our ceremony meaningful, personal, and fun. People were commenting to us all night about how great the ceremony was, and I'm positive it had a lot to do with Eddie's delivery. We will definitely be recommending him to others looking for an officiant!

We contacted him with only a few weeks notice of the wedding, and luckily he was available for our date. His approach is very professional and detail-oriented, while at the same time giving off an aura of tranquility. Our goal was to have a pretty, formal, non-religious ceremony that focused on the joining of two hearts and lives, and Eddie did just that. We had almost every major religion in the world represented among our family and friends, with most of our family being conservative Catholics, and all approved.

I was honestly a bit hesitant that he was not physically at the rehearsal, but we did a conference call a few days in advance, went over everything word by word, and action by action. Eddie has a lot of experience with weddings, and he actually had some really good advice and knew to go over details we had not previously thought of. The ceremony went exactly as we had planned, even better actually. Eddie was able to add a calming element before and during the ceremony. He reminded everyone of the point of the day - joining two people together. He added a relaxed sense of humor to the ceremony, while still keeping it focused and professional. He even made a point during the ceremony to stop a moment and give us time to take in the moment - very nice!

I have had endless amounts of complements regarding Eddie the Shaman since the wedding! His pricing is a little bit higher than some other offers I received, but it was worth every penny to be able to relax and trust in his professionalism.

My husband and I used Eddie for our wedding this month and I have to say we were more than pleased with his service! The ceremony is obviously the most important part if the wedding and he did such an amazing job that we couldn’t thank him enough! Our friends and family have all commented on how romantic and funny he is and also how beautiful the sand ceremony we did to include my son was. I HIGHLY recommend Eddie for your upcoming wedding!

What can I say about Eddie... our wedding would not have been the same without him. He was amazing in every way imaginable. He made it fun and very special and always made sure we did not have to worry about one single thing. Both families loved him and he certainly added to our special day. If anything I wish he could have stayed to celebrate at the reception! Planning a destination wedding and choosing Eddie specifically on recommendations was the best choice I could have made. He is a great guy and if you don't want to have to worry about anything on your wedding day and you truly want to have a great officiant Eddie is perfect! I can not say enough GREAT things about him. Amazing Man, lots of love.

Eddie was great and we are so happy we asked him to be a part of our special day! He is such a positive and helpful person.

We met with Eddie twice and he was always very helpful. Eddie along with our coordinator (Kristy Rapp) did a great job at our rehearsal making sure everything was good to go.

The day of our wedding Eddie was a great help and a positive energy to have around. He did such a wonderful job with our ceremony. I couldn't have asked for something better!

It felt like we had an old friend marrying us and we will always consider Eddie a friend now! :)

Eddie was beyond amazing! He completely set the mood throughout the rehearsal and ceremony, making sure everyone knew what they were doing and were having fun doing it! Eddie added liveliness and humor to a non-traditional ceremony while maintaining the sanctity of the day.

Before our big day, Eddie worked with us to make sure our vows were exactly what we wanted, and we couldn't have been happier with how they turned out. He was like a fabulous wedding planner and officiant in one, making sure everything ran smoothly under his watchful eye. Eddie definitely made our day so much better than it might have been, and took so much stress off of my shoulders.

Eddie is so fantasitc! My now husband listens to him on the radio and having Eddie was his one request. All of our vendors raved about him as well. I could not be more happy with the way our rehearsal and ceremony went. Eddie made it so relaxed for us and truly made it all about 'us!' He really cares, he speaks loudly and works with you to create your vows.

We were looking for a non-traditional wedding officiant who was unique and most importantly, not cheesy. Eddie couldn't have fit the bill any better. He is a one-of-a-kind, enthusiastic, vibrant and optimistic human being. He made us feel completely at ease during the whole process and our guests still can't stop talking about how good he was. We had been having a hard time finding vows that would fit our distinctive personalities, but Eddie was able to send us several options, which worked perfectly for us. Our day was made even more special having him there. Rock on brother!

When 3 of my vendors told me he was the guy we should get... I knew something was up. We are fun people my husband and I and I think all of our vendors picked up on this. They knew not just anybody would do. When we spoke with Eddie, I knew this was the guy. On our wedding day he did everything he could to make us at ease... from bringing us gum... to running interference with in-laws on both sides. He was awesome and funny! He made the ceremony so light-hearted... but he didn't take away the meaningfulness of the day. I will never forget that day because Eddie made it soooo easy and not stuffy. He set the tone for the rest of the day!

We loved Eddie! He helped us write our own vows and ceremony, plus he was just tons of fun. He made us feel comfortable and also made sure that we didn't forget anything and ensured that each moment ran smoothly. We very highly recommend Eddie!

Eddie was absolutely wonderful! He worked with us to write a unique and custom ceremony that was perfect for our personalities. What an amazing guy!? Eddie came to our wedding with the best attitude and made us so comfortable. He was incredible to work with! Halfway through our ceremony it started to downpour and he kept everything together! He kept everyone positive and it all turned out great. He was very flexible and was even willing to wear a GoPro to film the whole thing!
