We loved working with Ed! He was very detailed and attentive since the first meeting/phone call. He did such a great job at organizing timeline detail by detail. He really works along side you to make your wedding vision come alive. We loved he is willing to go the extra mile to make sure everything is neat and in order and you are happy with the outcome, song choices and style. I would totally recommend him anytime! Ed was absolutely incredible and played a huge role in making our wedding feel fun, seamless, and truly personal. From the start, he was the consummate professional — organized, responsive, and always crystal clear in communicating the timeline, which gave us so much confidence and helped everything flow smoothly throughout the day.
What really stood out about Ed was not just his ability to keep the energy high and the dance floor full, but how thoughtfully he helped make the day feel unique to us. He did an amazing job creating an atmosphere that felt personal, special, and genuinely reflective of who we are as a couple, while also making the night so much fun for all of our guests.
One of the biggest highlights of the evening was our first-dance mash-up, which Ed really went above and beyond to help make happen. It ended up being such a meaningful and memorable moment, and so many of our friends and family told us afterward that it was one of the highlights of the entire wedding.
Ed brought professionalism, warmth, flexibility, and great energy to every part of the celebration. We are so grateful for everything he did and would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ who can make a wedding feel both incredibly fun and truly one of a kind. -

Ed is the best person for this job :) He had a lot passion and engagement for work before our day and great energy on that day. He took care of our wedding time like walking to the arch and also help us with sand ceremony. It is much more then musician wedding duty. We recommend him so much. -

Absolutely Amazing, Knowledgeable, and Helpful
We hired Ed for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour to play guitar and violin and he delivered on both fronts and more. With his experience, he was able to advise on the ceremony, how the procession should be arranged, seating arrangements, and how to stir up the crowd at the happy hour. He never once told us what to do but could always answer our questions, even if they were beyond the scope of music. He was an excellent musician and played all kinds of genres and could accommodate any request we or our guests made, but what truly stood out was how much he cared that our wedding day went perfectly and that we were happy. With that attitude, he was one of our favorite vendors to work with and truly made the wedding come together. We highly recommend him to anyone looking for a musician who goes the extra mile to make their wedding day special. Thank you Ed! -

Professional, attentive and genuine
Ed's services were recommended to us by our officiant Captain Ray Goad. Our wedding was small and intimate, and we did not plan on having a musician. We weren’t sure how to incorporate a one-man band into the casual ceremony on a boardwalk by the beach. We scheduled a zoom meeting with Ed and he patiently helped us map out all of the details. By the end of the call, our simple nuptials had evolved into something beautiful. He suggested things we never would have thought of that really added value to the experience. The wedding day was absolutely perfect and we could not have done it without Ed! -

AH where to begin?! Wish I could rate him 10 stars! Ed, from beginning to end, was crucial to my wedding!! I think hiring Ed was one of the BEST decisions I made, I could not begin to think what I would have done without him. Planning a wedding in Florida from Seattle was A LOT and Ed made the journey of organizing my ceremony SO much easier, we met via zoom for the first time where he introduced himself, displayed all his instruments and assured me my ceremony would be taken care of regarding order of events and songs. He did not fail. Ed is so much more than a musician, I felt like he helped me with my wedding like a grandad would. He learned an entire song for me and made my entrance song a whole project, contacted people on my behalf, spoke to my officiant, learned my bridal party's names, just outstanding work!! Over a few zoom calls and texts, he put my entire dream together, he is extremely organized, shared with me a timeline via a document of drafts and the final product.. communication was stellar. He also conducted my entire wedding rehearsal. I cannot stress enough how important it was to have Ed be part of my wedding, he played BEAUTIFULLY not one or two but three instruments and made me feel so peaceful. THANK YOU ED. 100000% recommend!!! -

Ed was the musician for our wedding this August! From live instruments during the cocktail hour, to several meetings with us to make sure the introductions, first dance and DANCE FLOOR were exactly what we wanted, we loved working with Ed. Prior to the event he was very communicative and knowledgeable and at the event very flexible making sure folks always stayed on the Dance Floor. Our experience with Ed was amazing and planned out perfectly from beginning to end. Ed made our wedding even more memorable by playing the more non-traditional music we asked for (pink panther/mission impossible; ask him about it, it was a highlight of the wedding). Ed made sure all questions were answered and made sure everyone was on schedule with how we planned everything out together. And most importantly, his music was beautiful and all of our guests agreed. Every person commented on how beautiful our ceremony and cocktail hour was and that was all thanks to Ed. We would absolutely recommend Ed to all of our friends and family. -

From the initial consult, it became clear to me that Ed is THE musician you must have. Ed is extremely talented and plays 4 instruments - guitar, violin, mandolin, and ukulele. He is very detail-oriented and knows how to take the lead and plan an evening to remember. Ed has quite the repertoire of music and is there to help guide you in selecting music for your ceremony. I had requested a song to walk down the aisle that Ed never heard of before. Without hesitation, he asked me to play it so he could hear it. After hearing it briefly, he was able to play along with the music and agreed that would be my song. Wow I was impressed! It was apparent that Ed invested a lot of time in preparation for my wedding so that everyone had a memorable experience. I received lots of feedback from my guests about how much they thoroughly enjoyed hearing Ed’s music. I highly recommend him ten times over! -

Ed is such a gem to work with. He played at my wedding in Boynton Beach at Benvenuto's on 3/10/2022 and did a fantastic job. He played for a total of 2.5 hours for our b'deken, ceremony, and cocktail hour and it added so much to the ambiance and excitement. Ed goes above and beyond to help everyone stay organized during the processional, even going so far as to make name tags for where everyone should sit after they walk down the aisle. He is very available for organizing calls and offers a lot of great suggestions and ideas. He was flexible with the way we wanted to do our ceremony and b'deken, even when it wasn't the standard way! He totally lives up to his great reviews and I highly recommend him to anyone searching for a talented and fun wedding musician! -

Ed is the BEST!!!!!!! BOOK HIM!
Ed is the absolute best. He performed at our wedding on 11/9/2021. We had an intimate wedding of 14 people and Ed was the perfect addition. Every guest RAVED about Ed and how he was so great and nice and an amazing musician. From the moment we first spoke I knew we were in good hands. We had a two hour zoom call to go over specifics of the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. He lifted such a weight off of our shoulders as he knew exactly what decisions needed to be made, transitions that needed to happen, etc. He created a full itinerary of our day. He provided uplights, ceremony script examples, MC-ed our reception. HE IS THE BEST! Our day would not have been the same without Ed. Everything was seamless. Gusts are still raving. We will absolutely book Ed for any and all events we may have in the future. He even found out that one of our siblings also plays the ukulele and invited them to play a song. He is like the best uncle at your wedding - he brings the party. THANK YOU ED!!!!!!! You nailed it. -

My wife and I were crazy enough to think we can plan a wedding by ourselves in 3 months—and somehow we did it.
One of my mandatories during the process was music. I did a ton of searching online, but when I found Ed and read the reviews, I knew he was the one.
Without a doubt, I attribute the success of the ceremony and reception to Ed's thoughtful approach to his role in the wedding. His experience is apparent through his attention to detail, recommendations and advice he gives us every step of the way.
I tell my wife that we hired him to play music at the ceremony, but he ended up as our honorary wedding planner.
If he's available, you better book him. -

very memorable and personalized experience!
Ed was fantastic in all aspects! He worked closely with us to customize the soundtrack for our entire wedding-- prelude, processional, recessional, cocktail hour music, first dance, song dedication requests, dinner music etc. and even turned us on to some things we never considered. Our zoom meetings with him were one of the most fun parts of the wedding planning process! He is an extremely skilled arranger--my husband chose a very technically demanding piece, originally composed for guitar, and Ed made a wonderful violin rendition! Additionally he transformed a beautiful video game piece into something that you would expect to hear in any concert hall, for my processional song. Aside from his skills as a musician, Ed is also a fantastic communicator. From the day we booked him up until the day of our ceremony on 5/8/21 he was always in touch, kept to his deadlines and never had us concerned about his involvement in the wedding. He was always on top of things, proactive and very organized. Not only will Ed work well with you, but he is also a great team player with other vendors. Last but not least he was a giant hit with our guests and even with the venue's staff. We are so glad we booked him as he was integral to our wedding day being so special, memorable and seamless. He truly wants the couple to be happy on their special day and it shows! -

Ed is Amazing! You Should Hire Him
I wasn’t sure we needed a musician for or cocktail hour and ceremony. I was SO WRONG! Our wedding was meant to be on the beach, very laid-back, with few frills. But a family member encouraged us to speak with Ed, and I’m so glad! He brought a classy, beachy vibe to our wedding that made the event absolutely perfect. He met with my fiancé and I a couple of times virtually (we’re out of state) to get a feel for who we were as a couple, and he even made some amazing recommendations for songs that he could play. We had a silly request to include Disney’s “Lava” song, and he incorporated it into our stand ceremony. It was more beautiful and more perfect than I could’ve ever imagined. Despite a torrential downpour on the day of our wedding, it didn’t matter. The music helped us feel like we were still on the beach, and everyone had a fabulous time. I would recommend Ed to anyone! He’s your guy. -

My husband I recently got married on 1/23/21 in Boca Raton, Florida and all I can say is out of all my vendors, Ed was the best. The reason is for many but being a very detail oriented bride, Ed is exactly what you want! He helped us plan out every moment of the ceremony, and for me it is all about the details!! His talent of playing multiple instruments, taking the time to hand pick with us a different song for each walk during the ceremony, it was so extra and beautiful. All of my guests loved him playing for them at my cocktail hour while they sipped champagne and enjoyed food, he made it feel magical!!
He answered all questions, coached us through what we didn't know, on time with everything, and made sure he was in touch with all of MY OTHER vendors to the point that they wanted to let me know "oh don't worry we have already been in contact with ED" As a bride this is what you want to hear, you have enough to deal with.
Also a plus is he brings speakers, and microphones- most places do not tell you but they are not always included automatically with your venue so you will have to source this out- but why not hire someone as talented as Ed to have live music at your event and provides those things that you will already need! It is such an elegant and charming thing to add for your wedding ceremony. If you're considering to have someone for live music - Ed is your guy!!!!

The most incredible musician you could ever find!!
We absolutely love Ed! Our experience with Ed started with a you tube search looking for an Italian mandolin player, however, to our delight, turned into so much more! We then found him on weddingnwire and read his reviews and decided to reach out. We met with Ed the first time almost a year ago when we were planning our wedding. He arrived at our home with four instruments. Mandolin, violin, guitar and ukulele! He played for us for quite some time and helped us come up with music for everyone's taste. Ed is self taught and an absolute amazing musician as well as a great person. Ed is not just a musician! He completely organized and conducted our reception as well as planned out our ceremony processional and ressecional! Ed even made name tags for all our first row guests of honor as well! He also organized the grand entrance for us and our entire wedding party into the reception! He does not simply play great music, he is the complete package! He played for our ceremony and reception and also coordinated with our bagpiper to play together for certain songs as well as worked together with our officient and the venue to be sure everything was absolutely perfect! Then the pandemic hit and everything had to be put on hold. He was honest with our deposit and assured us that he would be here for us when we were able to reschedule. Ed went above and beyond and reworked the entire event again when we rescheduled at no extra cost. He came again and met with us and played and organized everything all over again. We now feel he is part of our family! You would be challenged to find such a wonderful musician, organized planner and fantastic individual as we have found in Ed Horowitz! We give him 100 stars not just 5 -

We found Ed in searching the internet for our destination wedding on 9/4/2020, and thank the lord we did! Ed was absolutely amazing! He was very responsive and helpful in picking what songs we wanted played during our ceremony, and was very attentive to details. Since we live in Ohio, and he's in Florida, we were able to have multiple video calls with him where he played all of the songs we wanted to include, as well as played other songs for other parts of the ceremony that we weren't sure what songs we needed. He made the planning process absolutely stress free, as he handled all of the ceremony details from seating arrangements, timing, songs, and cuing our wedding planner for when to start our bridal party down the aisle. Ed is a 10/10 and an absolute amazing musician! Thank you so much Ed!!! -

I can't say enough great things about Ed! He was such a pleasure to work with and im so greatful we found him! He came to our home to play for us and we hired him right away. We were so happy to have Ed Horowitz as our musician, DJ and coordinator for our wedding at Flamingo Gardens on December 8th 2019. He did an amazing job making our dream wedding possible. As we were planning from abroad, Ed coordinated the schedule with us, making sure that the entire day would be planned flawlessly. He was very flexible and we could discuss all details via skype. We had a great time picking our songs from the prelude to the reception. Ed has an amazing repertoire of songs and melodies to choose from (if you need some inspiration) but he also can transform any contemporary song you like and make it part of your wedding.
Ed put his soul and passion into our wedding and delivered a great performance. Thanks to his flexibility and focus even to the smallest detail, it all came together effortlessly.

My husband and I wanted to have a Hawaiian-esque feel to our wedding here in FL. We wanted to incorporate some ukulele into our ceremony and cocktail hour music. Who would have thought that we would google Ukulele Wedding Players and would find someone, let alone someone local? We were so fortunate to come across Ed Horowitz to play at our wedding. Not only does he play ukulele but also violin, mandolin, and guitar. He is very multi-talented! He came to our house to demonstrate prior to hiring him. Later, we set up another appointment to pick our music for the ceremony. He was incredibly helpful giving suggestions and nailing down the perfect set-list for our day. He did not disappoint on the day of the wedding. The music complemented the ceremony that we designed perfectly. My husband and I highly recommend Ed Horowitz for your special events. Ed played the ceremony and cocktail hour at our wedding recently and he did a fantastic job. He is a top knotch professional who cares deeply about his clients and also loves playing his instruments. He came over a month before the wedding to play us some samples live and we could just tell the passion he had for music! He even learned a few songs we wanted for the ceremony. The actual day came without a hitch given all the preparation we did. He worked seamlessly with our officiants, played all the music flawlessly and interacted with our guests pre and post ceremony. I booked Ed pretty close to my wedding date and it was the best decision! I found him on wedding wire and emailed him right away as there were so many positive reviews. Off the bat he had ideas I hadn't even thought of - such as a PA system so our guests could hear our vows and our officiant, and different songs for the officiant, bridal party, groom, and myself. We are so thankful to Ed for making our day perfect and adding wonderful music that really completed our ceremony. We HIGHLY recommend Ed!!!! -

My husband and I came across Ed through our coordinator at RF Orchids in Homestead.
She has a lot of good words to say about Ed and we could tell they were all true from our first conversations with him.
What I love the most about Ed is that he cares so much and wants your wedding day to be perfect! He paid attention to so many details during our wedding and what impressed me a lot is that he drove from Fort Lauderdale to our home in Homestead to make a playlist for our wedding and to play live a bit of every song he was going to include during our ceremony.
He was very flexible with our requests and made us very happy by including some violin songs that were a must on my list.
He worked extremely well with everyone involved in planning our wedding to make sure that everything happens as planned.
In terms of the atmosphere he created, we had feedback from some of our guests that our wedding has been the best they have ever been to.
I am very pleased that we chose Ed to be our musician and DJ for our wedding and I highly recommend him! :)

There are not enough good things to say about Ed! He surpassed every expectation that I had and more! He handled things that I had no idea he would and helped me to plan the perfect ceremony and reception music. He sat with me and my groom a few months before the wedding and played for us so that we could hear the sound of each song before we picked them and kept in touch up until the wedding to accommodate any change we might have wanted to make - which we did! If you are debating having live music at your wedding and/or party, do yourself a favor and hire Ed. He will be the hit of your event. He did the live music at my wedding ceremony 5 years ago and just did the live music and dj'ed at my 5 year anniversary party/vow renewal. All my guests rave about his talent and his personality. He plays instruments extremely well and will have you crying and singing along to all the songs. Ed is one a kind, he is a special soul and you would be lucky to have him at your event. My husband told me if we win the lotto, we will be paying Ed to come to our home on the weekends to play live music just for us :) We love Ed and you will too! -

Ed was absolutely amazing. He went above and beyond what I was expecting from a musician for my wedding. We spoke on the phone several times and he worked with my busy schedule to make time for me. He went as far as to reach out my my officiant and decorator to coordinate everything and wrote up an itinerary for the wedding! I HIGHLY recommend Ed for any occasion. We found Mr. Ed 1 week before our wedding. After our saxophonist cancelled on is. Even with such short notice, Mr. Ed decided to help us and gave our wedding the very best service before and ok our wedding day. He spent hours with us planning the music for each of the walks and processional in our wedding ceremony. Offering exquisite skill in allowing for each person to have a personalized song down the isle. From the Groom's parents, to the bride's parents, to the ring bearer, flower girl, (bridesmaids and groomsmenjoy had the same song), and finally for the bride's march. If that wasn't enough, Mr. Ed took it upon himself to type up in detail the entire ceremony. Where everyone would be standing, who would be walking to what. It was as if we had a wedding coordinator and not a musician. His organization, experience and helpful insight was invaluable to making our wedding beautiful. We could not have been more thankful that he was apart of our ceremony and ofcourse our cocktail hour. As he was skilled and able to play many different genres of songs to entertain our guests during the cocktail hour. He is worth every penny and Mr. Ed himself is the kind of professionalism that you want at your wedding. As a bride, I discovered it was hard to find people who kept their word and were just good in customer service. But Mr. Ed was all that more. I definitely recommend and my family will use again in upcoming functions. -

Ed was such an amazing help in not only what he did for us throughout our wedding day, but helping us in the coordination of how the ceremony would play out. My guests thoroughly enjoyed his music as they waited for ceremony to begin. Our wedding was on a carnival cruise and he was able to come on the boat with us. The violin and guitar selections added pleasing touch of class to our wedding.

Ed is one of those decisions that you look back and realize your wedding wouldn’t have been the same if it wasn’t for him. When it came to responsiveness and professionalism I wish I could give more than 5 stars. He’s way more than a musician. He creates the entire ceremony with you in mind and makes sure everything is perfect. Nonetheless his talent shows. When he first met us and played some samples for us, we knew we HAD to ask him to play at our wedding. We love you Ed!!! -

He helped Peter and I choose meaningful and fun songs for every member of our wedding party, and our guests raved about the cleverness of those choices. His guitar prelude music set an inviting atmosphere. Plus, he was our emcee and DJ for our reception. He kept the party vibes up with lots of music and special touches, inviting guests to share stories and good wishes. To have a musician of his caliber and talent, playing violin, mandolin, and ukulele in addition to the guitar, is a fantastic find! Plus, he is so professional, arriving early to set up his excellent sound system, and helping everyone, including the officiant, work together to create the wedding of our dreams! We recommend him highly, and we are so grateful that he was My Wedding Musician. Ed Horowitz is the BEST!!!!

Janelle Sent on 12/30/2017Our wedding took place in Dania Beach, FL however we live in Chicago, IL. I found Ed via Wedding Wire, visited his website, and listened to samples of his work. I was in love with what I heard and contacted him immediately. Once I spoke to Ed, I knew he had to be on our wedding day team!
Ed is a wonderful person! He is organized, detailed, professional and extremely talented. He truly cared about our day and ensuring that it was exactly what we dreamed of. He loves Disney just like I do and can play all their songs! He visited my family home in South Florida to sample his music in person. We went through the entire ceremony and cocktail hour with a fine-tooth comb. We decided on the music for each person walking in: Reverend, grandparents, groom, bride and groom parents, wedding party, bride, etc. We had a mix of old, new, Disney, and even Spanish songs. Our ceremony alone consisted of nine songs! One which he had never performed and learned just for us!
He shined at the ceremony but sparkled during the cocktail hour! One person came up to us and said "he's amazing, he just played Despacito!", another one of our friends said "he turned the guitar and played it like a drum!". Ed played Let It Go for my Goddaughter and she was just over the moon! Another person said, "if he was in Chicago, I'd hire him for my wedding!". He catered to all our guests at the event and played music that would be enjoyed by everyone; current top hits, oldies, Disney songs, etc.
Javier and I are still pretty upset that we were off taking pictures and couldn't enjoy Ed's music during the cocktail hour. However, we will eventually have more events and can't wait to have Ed be a part of them! -

He also was the MC and DJ of our wedding which was great! He also spent time with us on the phone and provided us with a written program of how the day would proceed. Although we lived in California and only made one trip to Miami before our wedding Ed could not have made the experience more smooth and joyful. He is a one-man show and a wedding planner all rolled into one!
