As locals and regulars here, when my husband and I got engaged we knew immediately that we wanted Eclair Bakery to do our desserts. With 40 guests, we decided to do a 6 inch cake to cut and 48 cupcakes (4 types/1 dozen each). We brainstormed flavors with Amanda, but to be frank we were so confident in her abilities that we deferred to her on flavors when we booked them. They did not disappoint. Their cupcakes are giant and when all was said and done they were so popular that neither my husband or I even managed to get one at the wedding. I had a couple of friends even comment that the moist cake part was exactly what they've always envisioned a cupcake middle is supposed to be. They are incredibly reasonable price-wise and I have seen some reviews regarding communication challenge but we didn't experience any of that with Eclair and planning our wedding. -

Eclair Bakery is incredible!!! I fell in love with this bakery when my mom and I visited for a cake tasting. Amanda made that experience exceptionally special and fun. I felt like I had instantly made a new friend! Upon tasting the most delicious and beautiful cupcakes, my mom and I knew we HAD to hire Eclair Bakery to make my wedding cake and cupcakes. Amanda was extremely sweet and fun to work with. She had great flavor suggestions! I couldn't believe how she knew the exact style of wedding cake I wanted just by hearing the description of the theme and tone of our wedding. We ordered an 8 inch cake for us to cut as a couple and 132 cupcakes for our guests (with an additional 6 vegan/gluten free cupcakes). EVERYTHING was beautiful and extremely tasty. I couldn't have been happier. I will recommend Eclair Bakery to absolutely everyone and I can't wait to go back to get some more sweet treats when I visit the area. THANK YOU AMANDA and Eclair!!! -

We ordered several cakes in different flavors. The cakes were beautiful and delicious! The chocolate cake was dense, rich and tasted like it was made from scratch. Super yummy! Most of the cakes had real buttercream, which we had asked for. Some were made with the typical bakery fake frosting which hold up well to the outside weather but don't taste great. I would definitely order from Eclair Bakery again. Just make sure to specify that you want the homemade buttercream on your cake. The cakes were a hit...beautiful and delicious! -

I could not possibly rave about Jeremy and his staff enough. They made us four kinds of cupcakes and a 6 inch cake for us to cut. Eclair Bakery is a classic neighborhood bakery, the kind of business there should be a lot more of. The people that work there are just pure, genuine, honest people. (And on top of that, they are just so cool!) You get value for your money at Eclair. The cost of our cake was so reasonable, that we want to be customers the rest of our lives to make it even! Not exaggerating. And our guests are probably still arguing over whether the chocolate peanut butter cupcakes or the chocolate dipped were better. They were obsessed! Thanks, Jeremy! :) -

We had the most gorgeous and perfect wedding cake!! Jeremy did an amazing job and he was terrific to work with. As soon as we did our first tasting with Jeremy we knew he was the #1 choice to make our wedding cake. We wanted a simple and elegant cake, decorated with flowers (provided from our florist) and it turned out even better than we expected. It was absolutely stunning!!! And it was also delicious! -

We decided to order several round layer cakes from Eclair Bakery in lieu of having a large wedding cake. Not only was it a lot more affordable to do it this way, each cake was unique and beautiful. The only glitch was that we asked that each cake be frosted in white and they frosted the lemon cake in bright yellow. We arranged the cakes on different styled cake plates on a table and the yellow one was not cohesive with the others - not my exact vision. Still, they were delicious, our guests enjoyed them and that's really what mattered most. -

My cake was absolutely gorgeous! The taste was very fresh and exquisite! So many of my wedding guests complimented my cake! The only advice I can give Eclair Bakery is to return your phone calls in a timely matter and be careful when taking orders not to mix them up with another order! Everything turned out perfect but the stress of not talking to the baker until the last minute all could be avoided, especially if I am paying for a service I want to know what I am getting in return! -

Eclair Bakery made my wedding cake and they did a fabulous job. Despite the poor communication leading up to the event and the flexibility I had to maintain with them, the cake was beautiful and delicious and just what I wanted. Eclair is a great little town bakery that I would recommend for weddings in the SLO area. -

This vendor was terrible. They have very poor communication skills. My cake was suppose to be at the reception at 4pm and he didnt show up until 4:30pm with a cake that was not ready! my reception started at 5pm and he was still finishing it when my guests were arriving. The cake was made incorrect. I specifically told the bakery i did not was fondant and what did they put on my cake...fondant! and the fillings were mixed up in the layers. it was a nightmare. And to top it off the bakery owes me money because i paid for a larger cake but then downsized it 3 weeks before the wedding and they wont return my phone calls! -
