Jon and Cal from East Weddings are AMAZING! We were worried about it being awkward having a videographer filming us - but Cal made us feel so incredibly comfortable. Jon did our videography for our October 2021 wedding at Migis Lodge in Portland, ME. I really believe Migis should use this footage in their promotional materials, because WOW. The drone footage he captured of us on a boat immediately after the ceremony is especially breathtaking. Jon himself is also super kind, sweet, funny, and got along great with our photographer and other vendors. We were on the fence about getting a videographer but I am so glad we have this video as is truly captures the day in a different way from the photos and we have loved watching our video annually and reliving such a happy, special day. Recommend Jon to the moon and back!! -

Jon did such a fabulous job with our wedding videography! It is very much evident that he does something he is very passionate about! He was extremely personable, professional, and is so very talented at his craft. We could tell this from the minute we started talking with him about reserving our date. We honestly were unsure whether or not to do videography for our wedding when we were first planning, but I am so glad we did. People have not stopped talking and commenting on the highlight video that Jon put together of our special day! Jon may as well have been a second wedding planner. He was so aware of the timeline, proper places to be and gave helpful hints throughout the day that were very much appreciated. He also accommodated a very special surprise request to sing happy birthday to the groom in Polish (a family tradition) and capture that special moment! We are honestly amazed at how much he covered. We had a pretty large wedding at 230 people and he really captured so many memories with all different people across the venue which we really love. He also at the end of the reception showed us a 1-1/2 minute teaser that he put together sitting down on the ground behind the DJ at the very end of the night. Freaking amazing! I really don't think anyone else is doing that. Highly recommend that Jon is the right guy for the job and will forever change your mind about wedding videography! -

If I could give 10 stars I would. Jon is the absolute BEST! My (then boyfriend) and I met Jon when he was the videographer for my sister in laws wedding in 2021 and we both agreed that in the future when we got married we HAD to have him be our videographer too. When we got eloped and decided to do a formal wedding a few years later, we put a deposit down with Jon before we'd even picked a venue and if he hadn't been available I literally would've changed our wedding date. From day one, Jon was great about communication and responding to all my emails and questions and that continued throughout the entire planning process. Leading up to the day, we hadn't decided what exact package we wanted to go with yet or if we wanted to add on anything extra - and he assured us that he would check in with us to make sure we had everything we wanted for footage even after the fact. We got our highlights video less than a week later and it was PERFECT, and another week after that we got our full length documentary style video. Even after we received our chosen videos, Jon continued to check in and make sure we were completely happy with what we had and if we wanted anything extra, including our raw footage. I could not have asked for a more beautiful video or a more professional person. On top of all that, Jon is just a genuinely nice person who reassured me throughout the planning process and on the day of that everything would be great. In the days after the wedding, multiple friends reached out for his information - not only did they love his work, but they were also impressed because they'd never seen a videographer blend so seamlessly into a reception and capture such awesome footage!!! -

Jon perfectly captured our wedding day! We are so happy to have video of us to help us remember the day and to also share with our family. Jon is professional, easy to be around, nonintrusive, and a delight to work with. Jon provided us with a social media teaser, highlight video, and documentary style video including getting ready, first look, ceremony, first dance, parent dances, speeches, and dance floor highlights. As part of our requests, Jon included interview style questions during our getting ready time. It is fun to watch what we were thinking and feeling in those moments leading up to our first look and ceremony. We would highly recommend Jon to capture your wedding day! -

We hired Jon for our wedding videography and the process, from beginning to end, was so easy and effortless. We were able to choose from a few different packages and add or delete certain things we didn't need. We ended up going with the highlights video which turned out to be amazing. I've been married for 2 months and I still watch it almost every day, lol! During the wedding, Jon was very attentive and recorded every major milestone of the wedding (ceremony, first kiss, cake cutting, etc). He was always there but at the same time, gave us our space, and was respectful of our time together and with others. We loved how the highlights video showed a little bit of every event. It was great and we got so many compliments. Thank you, Jon! -

Three weeks before our wedding we were still undecided if we wanted a videographer, but we decided to look around because we did not want to have any regrets if we didn’t have one. We found Jon on wedding wire and contacted him after seeing all his glowing reviews. We got lucky since we were getting married on a Sunday and he had availability! It was the BEST decision we made.
The whole process working with Jon was seamless. He was very communicative from the begging and gave us so many helpful suggestions, as I was the type of bride who needed a little extra help in coordinating everything. He worked together with our photographer so well to capture our day and his work is so beautiful. He went above and beyond and stayed throughout the entire reception. Jon sent us a one minute teaser THAT NIGHT that was so much fun to watch at breakfast with family and friends in the morning. Showing them the longer video has been so special to watch together and has caused many tears.
Could not recommend Jon anymore! If you are on the fence about having a videographer just do it. Having actual video brings you back into the magic over and over again, you will never regret having it but you will regret not! Thank you for all your hard work we appreciate everything so much and will cherish the footage forever! -

If you’re looking for a wedding videographer- look no further. Seriously, I cannot recommend Jon enough. Jon and I crossed paths on a wedding Facebook group page after I posted that I was in search of a videographer. A bunch of other vendors also responded, but after looking at Jon’s work I could see how great he is at what he does. Every interaction I had with him was professional and personable whether it be on the phone, via email, and finally in person for the big day. During our first phone conversation, we discussed how my husband didn’t want a videographer, but how important it was for me to capture the day in motion. My husband didn’t want a big camera in his face or a videographer who made it feel like he was being filmed. Jon made us both feel at ease; He was understanding of both my husband’s wants as well as mine in terms of what we wanted captured and how. In the months/weeks leading up to the wedding, Jon kept in touch via email and made sure to let us know he was there to help if we had any questions or needed anything.
Looking at the weather the morning of the wedding it was supposed to rain around the time of the ceremony/cocktail hour, so my husband and I last minute decided a first look might be the way to go so we could get outdoor pictures/shots before the rain. I called my photographer as well as Jon to see if it would be possible to do a last minute first look and Jon was so supportive and on board with doing whatever we felt was best. Jon and his second shooter were punctual, personable, accommodating, and so kind. They made everyone feel comfortable and my husband was impressed by how behind the scenes they were while still capturing everything. Jon checked in with us throughout the night, gave us some tips/pointers, and made sure to let us know when they were heading out to see if there was anything else we needed.
I was thrilled the day after the wedding when Jon sent us our 1 minute teaser video- I was not expecting that quick of a turn-around time and I was blown away by how amazing it came out. I must have watched it a million times by now. We also had our highlights video, documentary video, and Raw footage faster than I ever imagined. The quality of the video and the audio came out perfectly. Jon captured beautiful moments between my husband and I as well as moments with our family and friends that we will cherish forever. Words really can’t explain how grateful I am for his work and his attention to detail. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better videographer, experience and final product. Thank you, Jon for all of your hard work!! You’re the best! -

Jon is an amazing wedding videographer!! We can't recommend him enough. It rained on our wedding day and he constantly hustled to make sure we had a lot of footage to look back on. He had an incredibly quick turnaround and we were able to view our highlights video only three days after our wedding ended, and the documentary edit only a week later! Jon was friendly and made the day so much easier on my husband and I. I encourage anyone who is thinking of getting a videographer to do so and hire Jon! -

I highly recommend that you book Jon of Eastty Weddings!!! He was a pleasure to work with! He is very professional and easy to communicate with. He responded quickly to emails and happily answered my questions. He worked with me to develop a plan for the day and made it an effortless process. He is also very flexible and reliable. He showed up early to the venue and was ready to start rolling!
We met in person on the day of the wedding, and he is so nice! His kindness made the entire day flow better knowing that we were in good hands with Jon. He is professional while also being caring, considerate, thoughtful, and funny too! We were so happy to have him by our side throughout the day.
My husband was nervous about being in the spotlight all day and Jon made it so easy to feel like you were not in the spotlight at all. He blended effortlessly into the background which made for amazing candid shots while also never missing a moment and capturing every important detail!
His turnaround time is fast! We received our highlight video 7 days after our wedding! We were on our honeymoon at the time, and it made for such a special moment to watch the highlight video while on our honeymoon.
I could not be happier and more pleased with the highlight video!!! I couldn’t believe it when we watched it. It is so good!!! It was better than I could have ever imagined! Jon captured everything that I was hoping he would and weaved it into an amazing video that we will cherish forever!
Jon is best!! You can tell that he really enjoys what he does, and it shows in his work. Which is exactly the kind of person you need on your team! I cannot recommend Jon enough!! Hire him and you will not be disappointed!!

I cannot recommend Eastty Weddings enough! Jon is so much more than a talented videographer. I can confidently say that we wouldn’t have made it through the many challenges brought on by planning a wedding during COVID without his support, creativity, and flexibility. Choosing Eastty Weddings was by far the best, most meaningful, investment we could have made.
Eastty filmed and live-streamed our wedding in February 2021 and church ceremony in May 2021. Despite facing many uncertainties and repeated restriction changes, Jon remained open, understanding, and committed to making our big day work for us. He went above and beyond to help through preparations and continuously provided creative solutions in a less-than-ideal setting. His unwavering support and willingness to help when all odds were against us really went to show his amazing character. Thanks to Jon, over 250 guests were able to celebrate our special day with us and we’ve been blown away by all the positive feedback we have received about the quality of the stream and overall experience. The final products (social media edit, highlights video, etc.) are true pieces of art and I can’t stop re-watching them.
We honestly cannot thank Jon enough for his professionalism, responsiveness, high quality services, added special touches and most importantly, the peace of mind that working with him gave us. Please, do yourself a favor and hire this wonderful and talented human!! You won’t regret it! -

I simply cannot speak highly enough of Jon!! I originally had booked him back in 2020 for our original wedding date, and he stuck with me through about 3 date reschedules in 11 months, until our final date in May 2021. He was unendingly caring, expressing nothing but understanding, flexibility, and kindness through the entire process. This sort of professionalism and genuine love for his job came through so obviously, and this is a huge relief for any bride. When it (finally!) came to the actual wedding date, Jon was even better than I expected, and I already had high expectations of him just through the many emails we exchanged. My bridal party, my parents and my husband's mom even was telling me that he was really nice and funny, and they made him feel very comfortable! He was an interesting mixture of a fly on the wall, but also there to give great direction to ensure he was getting the perfect shots that any couple would want to see in their final video. I even have a few photos someone took, where Jon is helping to hold my train as I walked over to my bridal party to take photos! This guy is a jack-of-all-trades and you can really tell when someone actually loves their job and cares about being there and doing their absolute best. Jon even hustled to get us our highlights reel done as a surprise while we were on our honeymoon - which was UNREAL, and so beautiful. Jon's level of dedication and genuineness, coupled with his talent in creating beautiful videos, is a true gem. I would happily and whole-heartedly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a talented, kind, and genuine artist! -

Jon was amazing! He was friendly, professional, and had great communication. He did a wonderful job of recording every important moment, and worked great right alongside our photographer.
Before I even picked a videographer, I knew I wanted just raw footage so I could create my own special video. It was harder than I had ever imagined to find a videographer willing to do that! But then I found Jon. He was so kind and flexible, and the quality we received for the investment we made was incredible. He worked so professionally and quietly during the ceremony and reception, that many of my family and friends were surprised weeks later when they found out we had a videographer. That's how seamlessly he blended in! (What an invaluable skill to have in this profession!)
We would not have changed a thing about our videography experience. Jon was a delight to work with, and every special moment of our day was beautifully captured. Thanks Jon! -

We cannot even express how grateful we are to have booked Jon for our wedding day videographer! He captured our day so perfectly!!! Jon was a last minute change to our wedding due to our original videographer cancelling and I wish we had booked him from the beginning. From our first phone call with him to the end of our wedding day he was beyond accommodating, organized and super easy to work with. He made being in front of the camera such an easy and natural thing, most of the time we didn't even notice he was filming. In addition he also set up a live stream so our friends and family who couldn’t make it in person could watch. We received both the highlight video and the full documentary edit just 10 DAYS after our wedding! It was so special to open the videos while on our honeymoon & reminisce on our special day. Jon was such a pleasure to work with! We had decided on wedding videography last minute and Jon was excellent at helping us customize a package that worked with our budget. On the day of the wedding, he was able to shoot all angles of the ceremony, first dance, speeches and dancing without us really noticing he was there! Jon was one of the best parts of our wedding! Look no further than him when booking a videographer for your wedding. Throughout the months leading up to our wedding, he checked in to make sure everything was on track, he was really flexible with the package we chose and let us customize it. He reached out to the DJ and photographer in advance to make sure the three of them were on the same page, and he was just overall very upbeat and wonderful to work with the entire time. He worked well with our photographer the day of the wedding so they were able to simultaneously get good photos/videos of us. I cannot wait to see his work once he is done editing our videos! We added on the drone at the last minute and are so happy we did so! -

Jon is an incredible videographer. He was professional, kind, and easy to work with. He took all of our ideas into consideration when creating our highlights video. The final outcome was so beautiful and it is something I will cherish forever. We also chose to purchase the extra raw footage to view anything that we had missed on our special day. Jon is the best! He captures all the moments of the day and yet you don't even notice he's there. Jon had our highlight film to us in less than 4 days after our wedding and it had every detail I requested including bridal prep, walking down the aisle, our vows, MOH and best man speeches, first dances, and reception highlights. The quality of his work is amazing, and at such a reasonable price. I highly recommend selecting Jon as your videographer, I know I'm bound to run into him again at future friend's and families weddings :) -

Jessica Sent on 06/05/2010Jon did an awesome job! We got our DVD in about 2 weeks after the wedding and it came out great! Great value! We barely knew he was there at the reception. It was just him manning 2 cameras. Very easy to work with. We are pleased with our video and so glad we decided to have one!
