I highly recommend Eastern River Farm for wedding floral design! I recently was a photographer at a wedding that had to move venues at the last moment due to a hurricane. They rolled with the change with grace and professionalism. The flowers were jaw droopingly STUNNING, and so unique! You could see the care, craft and artistic eye that went into them. They completely fit the aesthetic and personality of the couple so you know they really listened and designed with highest level of personalization. The colors were vibrant yet so natural. Eastern River Farm is AMAZING!!
Jennifer was so amazing to work with for our wedding! She was super responsive and designed stunning florals for us! With the rainy weather this summer we needed to pivot last minute to include additional colors, but I knew I was in good hands. I told Jennifer the color of my bridesmaids dresses and left the rest up to her and they did not disappoint. We couldn’t recommend Eastern River Farm more!Eastern River Farm's reply:

Trillium catered a wedding where Eastern River Fam provided the florals and it was absolutely stunning! We prefer to source flowers for garnishing from the client's florist to keep the palate and design consistent throughout the event and Jennifer was so helpful in assisting us with a beautiful variety of blooms for all of our needs. Jen immediately understood my vision for my wedding flowers from the moment I first emailed her, and she was fantastic to work with throughout the entire planning process. Jen was a life saver. While we had a lot of issues with our venue and coordinator, Jen’s work ethic and communication made the flowers for our wedding not only beautiful but also so incredibly easy to organize, which was a huge relief. She worked with us from the beginning to give us a fun and bold Fall wedding style for our flowers.
Whenever we emailed her she was on the ball about getting back to us and was so happy to help. Even when there was a small hiccup the day of the wedding, Jen was on top of it and did absolutely everything she could to help us out. Choosing to work with Eastern River Farm was one of the best decisions that we made during our wedding planning process! From our introductory emails and calls, I knew we were in great hands. Jen was an absolute delight to work with throughout the whole process.
My husband and I had a design style and color palette in mind, as well as a few flower species that we particularly admired. This was all we needed to give Jen to allow her to work her magic as an expert flower cultivator and florist. With the end result, I felt like Jen had read my mind. Our wedding flowers were truly one of my favorite parts about our wedding. We had beautifully designed bouquets, boutonnières, centerpieces, large arrangements, an arbor, and cake flowers. We also got a DIY Custom Bucket, which allowed us to utilize our creativity in putting together some small arrangements of our own! The mixture of textures, colors of different dahlias, and pops of cool tones were exactly what I wanted. I am so pleased that we decided to work with Eastern River Farm and highly recommend them to any couple planning their wedding.

Beautiful, unique arrangements! Highly recommend
Jen designed the bouquets for our wedding and I can’t recommend her and Eastern River Farm highly enough. Jen communicated with me so well throughout the entire year leading up to the wedding to make sure our flowers were everything I was picturing- and more. Eastern River Farm is absolutely amazing
We had an outstanding experience with Eastern River Farm for our wedding in July 2022. The whole process was smooth and Jen was so helpful, kind, and caring. The flowers we received were absolutely gorgeous, and the arranged flowers we got (arbor, crown, bouquets) were arranged beautifully. I changed my order several times, and each time Jen patiently worked with me to make sure I had exactly the right flower order. We were not guaranteed any specific flower types, but instead Eastern River Farm worked with our colors and "vibe" of our wedding. The flowers were very beautiful and fresh, and they lasted all day. We had our ceremony outside, and the flowers all lasted through the hot July sun. All of the flowers were exactly as I had envisioned. I don't know where to start with this review - I could gush about Jen and her flowers for days. I was so excited to find Eastern River Farm because I knew I wanted locally grown flowers at my wedding. I met Jen at her farm about a year before my wedding. She said she had about half an hour to meet and talk wedding flowers, but we ended up spending over an hour and a half with her - it was immediately obvious that she is so knowledgeable and passionate about what she does. My now-husband and I didn't give her a ton of direction when it came to what we were looking for - I essentially said we wanted a bright, colorful, wildflower vibe. She was so patient with my many questions in the months leading up to my wedding, and provided guidance on how arrangements would look in different spaces. When we went to pick them up the day before our wedding, my jaw was on the floor. The flowers were so, so beautiful (I'll let the pictures speak for themselves) - every arrangement was bursting with incredible flowers, and it was evident that they were put together with such care. I wasn't surprised at all when guests came up to me just to talk about the flowers throughout the evening. Months later, people STILL tell me I had the best wedding flowers they've ever seen. I am SO glad I found Eastern River Farm and cannot recommend them highly enough.Eastern River Farm's reply:

Jen and Scott were amazing to work with! I am a florist and it was important to me to use locally grown blooms for my wedding, and Jen was able to help me get all my favorites in my preferred color palette, truly my dream flowers! She kept in touch all winter to let me know how things were looking, and held onto some gorgeous things for me in the cooler for a few weeks. Everything opened beautifully, and Scott was gracious with me at pickup when I wanted to poke through their inventory for more. Above and beyond
My husband and I got married during the pandemic, and did most of our wedding planning when things were most uncertain. Jen was so kind, flexible, and supportive--every step of the way. She was so willing to personalize the flowers to meet our vision and our budget. When I went to pick up my flowers before the wedding, she went above and beyond what we talked about. We downsized dramatically leading up to the event, so we didn't have much in the way of decorations. Jen's flowers and gourds went such a long way and really tied the day together. I'm so grateful to her and her family, and I love how they grow everything themselves. It gives you a really wonderful local feel, and you get to support people who live in the state. Beautiful blooms and impeccable customer service!
Jen and her team were wonderful to work with! She essentially helped me plan two events, as I planned a 125 people event before COVID hit, then had to scale back for a 25 person event during COVID. Jen's flowers were beautiful and had the elegant yet "natural" look I was going for. Jen's service was also a wonderful value for the quality of blooms/ arrangements and the truly excellent customer service! I would highly recommend Eastern River Farm to absolutely anyone, and can't say enough good things about the experience I had with this vendor! -

Eastern River Farm absolutely knocked it out of the park with the flowers for my Maine wedding at Beech Hill Barn this year. Jennifer Joray and her husband grow some of the most beautiful unique flowers. She was so friendly and professional and worked with me to create something that worked for us financially. The day of our wedding I was blown away to see that Eastern River Farm had decorated the grounds with the most beautiful flowers. Jennifer herself came and worked tirelessly all morning hand delivering the bouquets and taking special care of every single piece, including the beautiful alter. Everyone in attendance couldn't stop talking about how beautiful and unique the florals were. It was the most joyful surprise on our wedding day to see that Jennifer and Eastern River Farm had gone above and beyond to make everything perfect for our day. We would highly recommend them to everyone. Eastern River Farm has repeatedly provided me with beautiful bouquets of farm-fresh flowers, bursting with color and fragrance. Jen has an amazing eye for detail and keenly contrasts colors, textures and bloom sizes to create each masterful bouquet. You will not see many of her unique heirloom varieties in stores! Above and beyond on a budget!
Hiring Jen was one of the best decisions we made for our July 2021 wedding! There is no other florist in the area who can come close in terms of value for money. We found Jen after beginning to worry that we would have to cut way back in our vision in order to stay on budget. A few months later, when we drove away with our van overflowing with beautiful, organic, fresh-cut flowers for under $1,900, it literally felt like a steal! We went with a combination of DIY buckets and arrangements by Jen, and were thrilled with the results. Jen means it when she says she loves helping couples achieve their dreams, and she cannot help but go above and beyond. Our venue had a scenic backdrop, but otherwise flowers were our only decoration, and they were perfect. Colorful, lively, romantic, and and beautifully styled, they made a statement all on their own.
For us, doing some "DIY" elements with Jen saved money, but it was also a really fun and memorable experience. For our version of a bachelor/bachelorette party, my husband and I took my small wedding party for a visit to the farm, where Jen led us on a tour and taught us to make our own bouquets and boutonnieres. We loved meeting Jen's animals and had a great time taking photos in the fields overflowing with blooms. Jen's tour was really an education - she taught us the name of each flower and shared what she loves about it. As a result, when we saw the final arrangements a month later, the flowers themselves felt like familiar friends.
Jen offered all of the tips we needed to feel confident in making our arrangements, and was very generous with the supplies she included in the order (wire, tape, pins, etc) so we would be prepared. She also carefully loaded everything for us when we came to pick up the flowers, and we were able to store them in for two days before the event without any issues. Putting the arrangements together the day before the wedding took time, but it was a great bonding activity for members of both our families. It definitely helped to have one or two crafty "captains" to take charge of the process!
Eastern River farm is a growing family business, and Jen has a lot on her plate. She was incredibly responsive and generous with her time throughout the process, but at times she needed a reminder of the details we had discussed, especially as our order changed over time. In the end there were absolutely no mishaps or errors, and Jen always reached out to double-check each step, but we found it helpful to make sure we sent Jen an email every time we spoke on the phone, so we would have that written note for both of us to refer back to. Couples who are overwhelmed by the planning process or want a "set it and forget it" experience may be stressed out by Jen's approach, but we ultimately valued her friendliness, flexibility and enthusiasm and were willing to send a few extra emails to clear up any confusion along the way.
We would absolutely recommend Jen and her team to any flower lover for their next special event. Thank you so much to everyone at Eastern River Farm!Eastern River Farm's reply:
