I don’t know where to begin about how amazing Sam and Jeremy were. My wedding literally wouldn’t have been possible without the two of them.
We got married in an air bnb and there were a lot of moving parts. From setting up all the beautiful decor to moving and flipping tables during my cocktail hour, Sam was there every step of the way and took care of every last detail!
From the moment they showed up on my wedding day they did not stop! They were busting their butts for 12+ hours and in the hot sun.
They really outdid themselves and did WAY more than I would’ve ever imagined for the price I paid. They were well worth it and so much more!! I am so thankful and appreciative of all their hard work. They made all the difference. I would hire them over and over again!

Sam & Jeremy were amazing! She tailored a package for me and my partner. Came and was there as my lovely "lady in waiting" to help me on the day of. Her husband Jeremy was wonderful too! He cooked the most amazing wedding night meal for two. It was only my husband and myself so making it personal was big for us! I don't have any pics yet, but Sam took this one and I love it!! -

Best Day Ever!!!
We were looking for the right planner for us, and for our wedding, when I asked my friends if they knew anyone to recommend. 3 of my friends said I needed to talk to Sam Bishop, so I reached out and she responded quickly, I told her the where, when, and how many we were guessing. She said she would love to plan our special day, and make it perfect for us. She really wanted to do it for us. I really loved that. So she sent us the contract and we signed it. I love that she called and confirmed all the vendors for us, took a tour of our venue with us and took notes of our vision we wanted for our big day. She asked for photos of our decorations to help her plan better. If i ever had a random question, idea, or joke Sam responsed pretty quickly. She went above and beyond. ((I had always thought the planner just made a schedule of the day of)) Yes, she did do the schedule; she made a floor layout, she helped with rehearsal. She made everything that i thought to be stressful seem to be a piece of cake. The ceremony to the reception, making the venue turn out beautiful inside and out, and letting us enjoy the whole day! October 1st, 2022 was absolutely perfect, and The Best Day EVER!!! Sam I can't thank you enough. We love you. And really appreciate you and east tn weddings and events. I haven't gotten photos back yet from my photographer, but below is some I got from family members. -

Sam and her team really knocked it out of the park for my wedding. I told her what my vision for my wedding was and she exceeded my expectations. Every little detail was perfect. I am a very indecisive person, and was changing things last minute, and Sam never made me feel like I was being too much or a pain. She always was so friendly and helpful. Her team was awesome at the wedding. My husband and I and our wedding party was always taken care of. They made sure we always had something to drink. Sam kept us on track time wise. I couldn't of done it without them! They for sure made my day everything I could of asked for and more!!! I would HIGHLY recommend them to anymore! You won't be disappointed! -

Sam went above and beyond to make my wedding plans come true. She brought my vision to life, with the little bit of information I gave her she really outdid herself. She made sure everything was timed perfectly so nothing was missed during our day. She was always there when I would have a nervous moment. -

we hired sam sort of last minute, because we didn’t originally understand the value of a day of coordinator.
she is absolutely fantastic and considerate. she spent the whole day and even the day before making sure everything was set up, beautiful and going well!
WHY WE HIRED HER
she offered complete decor setup, which was super important to us.
she travelled several hours to be at our event and actually stayed with a friend so we wouldn’t have to worry about finding the money for a travel fee.
my partner loved her energy in the interviews, and she was on top of everything, which is why we decided to go with her in the end!
she also offers unlimited hours, so there’s no stress about fitting everything in to an eight hour or so window of time.
THE REHEARSAL
during our rehearsal, it rained. sam helped us through a makeshift ceremony & processional, since we couldn’t do our ceremony area.
we had a surprise for everyone — our niece was our officiant! there was a little skit where i get down to the end of the aisle and then i’m looking around like… where is the officiant? and then my niece slides in. sam kept this a secret & was very helpful throughout the process to keep this a huge surprise!
after and before the rehearsal, she spent hours helping get the decor in sections, so she would be able to put it all together and make our reception beautiful! 😍🥰
THE DAY OF
she did all the decor setup without complaint and without a ton of direction. (by the day of, my partner & i were incredibly stressed and out of our minds because our social meters were so low, but she helped our wedding go off without a hitch!
a few of our guests were late, and she held up the ceremony for us so they wouldn’t miss it. 🥰 she asked first, but i insisted we wait.
she took care of getting the food ready for us (it was delivered, & she set up in pans).
she was a busy bee, fixing everything up and reminding people when things needed to get done. when we ran out of plates, she let us know & went & grabbed more out of our car.
she reached out to the vendors beforehand to make sure everything was setup & put together. she also did not let our DJ make an extra, unnecessary trip for the rehearsal. (DJ was not local.) instead, she offered to facetime her so she could “be there” without wasting the gas, and i ULTRA appreciate this.
finally, she also broke down the decor with little help. two people stayed to help, and she made sure everything was put into the cargo van before she left.

We decided very last minute (about 8 weeks out) to hire a coordinator for our wedding and I found Sam/East TN Weddings and Events through Facebook recommendations. Sam responded to emails quickly, we met in person to discuss my vision for the day and for the entire month before she was my point of contact for vendors. She reached out to each of them and provided all the information they needed for the day to go smoothly. Sam set up all my decor the day of the wedding and when an unexpected rain shower came through an hour before the ceremony, she let me decide how to proceed and ended up bringing at least 100 chairs inside and drying them off for our guests. She kept my husband and I on track throughout the day and at the end of the night she packed up all of our decor back into boxes so my parents could take it with them. My day wouldn’t have been as perfect as it was without her! -

10/10 couldn’t have done it without her
Sam was incredible!! She was so patient, and worked with us and really took time to hear every detail. Our day was everything ever ever could have dreamed of and more because of her!!! -
