We used East End catering for our recent wedding at RGNY in October and we have nothing but positive things to say. Joanne was a pleasure to work with and extremely knowledgeable and responsive from beginning to end. We hired Lisa as our day-of-coordinator and I seriously can't even put into words how incredible Lisa was at executing our vision and making our day run as smoothly as possible. The entire time we were in both Joanne and Lisa's hands, I truly felt extremely at peace because I knew what an amazing ship they run with their team. The food was spectacular, and our guests are still raving about our cocktail hour and trilogy dinner! Could not recommend East End more!! -

It’s hard to keep this review brief because I can’t say enough about my experience for my daughter’s wedding with East End Events. Having an off premise wedding at your home is a daunting endeavor for anyone that has considered it or been there. From the get-go I was thoroughly impressed by Chris’s enthusiasm and creativity, and knew from recommendations that we were in good hands. Chris captivated us with his creativity and delectable culinary expertise. His ideas were truly unique and he followed through with outstanding food, service, and an event that literally brought tears to my eyes and so much joy to my heart. Joanne kept everything in check, and was always available for scheduling and anything we needed in between. Jen our Maitre d blew us away with her warmth and attentiveness. She had us in awe with her meticulous delivery of everything we wanted and more. All the staff, each and every one was a delight, their kindness and eagerness to please was outstanding to say the least. Thank you East End Events I’m beyond grateful for everything ❤️

Absolutely loved East End Catering for our North Fork wedding. The food was fantastic, all of our guests were complimenting the food as we went around to speak to people. Chris and Joanne are wonderful to work with. A special shoutout to Lisa. the maitre d, who worked as our Day Of Wedding Coordinator as well. She was absolutely integral to our day running smoothly. From rain planning to last minute changes, Lisa handled everything with grace and a smile on her face. We are so appreciative of the whole catering team, and was impressed with everyone. Would highly recommend! -

My husband and I got married at Meadowlark and worked with East End for our catering. We could not be happier with the outcome!! All of our guests could not stop raving about the amazing appetizers and the plentiful trilogy dinner. Joanne, Chris and their team were amazing to work with throughout the entire process, even when we had to accommodate guest food allergies. It rained at the time we intended to have our outdoor ceremony so last minute we decided to swap the cocktail hour with the ceremony in order to wait for the rain to stop. East End Catering was very flexible and allowed us to make this change without any pushback or frustration. They truly are a wonderful team. We had Jenn as our Maitre-D, she is an absolute ROCKSTAR and such a sweetheart (We highly recommend her!) -

East End Events Catering was hands down the best part of our wedding. From the tasting all the way to the night of the wedding I have absolutely nothing negative to say. Chris and Joanne are so personable and they are very up front about everything. They provide amazing food at a very reasonable price. Jane was our Maitre D for our wedding day, but she was honestly so much more than that. She was our confidante, our friend, and so many of the other vendors told us even behind the scenes how amazing she was. I haven't even mentioned yet how good the food was!!!! Everyone told us it was the best cocktail hour they have ever been to. Our raw bar had the biggest oysters people had ever seen, and Chris' baked clams were absolutely fantastic. Also, the servers and bartenders were phenomenal as well, even our family members afterwards were saying they want to go get drinks with some of the bartenders because they were so great! I honestly hope we have some kind of event in the future where we need catering because I will 100% use East End Events again. Excellent, reasonably priced, QUALITY food for our wedding and I am so happy we chose to work with Chris and Joanne (and Jane!!). And one more time just because we absolutely loved Jane, she helped us so much when we had a lot of very unexpected things happen the days prior to our wedding and I am so grateful to have had her work with us!!! She is excellent! -

Easily the best decision we made for our wedding was to work with East End! I read the rave reviews about Joanne, Chris and Jane, but they don’t do them justice. They were helpful, communicative, professional, and beyond friendly from the very beginning. But I didn’t truly understand how amazing they were until the wedding day. Firstly, the food was beyond top notch. Our guests won’t stop raving about it - cocktail hour and dinner were equally amazing. The trilogy was perfect - the presentation was just as good as the taste. Now Jane, our day of coordinator, was easily the best money spent for the entire wedding. I can’t say enough how amazing she is! She is way more than just a DOC, she is truly MVP who was available 24/7 for months leading up to our wedding. Along with her professionalism, she brought a positivity, lightness, and humor to our day that just made us feel so at ease. She did not let any detail go unnoticed and had everything under control at all times. If you have a chance to work with East End, just do yourself a favor and book now. -

My husband and I recently got married at RGNY Vineyard and worked with East End as our caterer and they were AMAZING. I'm not sure if it's the same for all of the vineyard weddings but for ours, the caterers really do a bulk of the work in not only the food but also setting up chairs, bringing cutlery, plates, and tableclothes, helping to move flowers around, setting up pre-ceremony drinks, staffing the bars, and keeping the whole event running. They really are amazing! Everyone was raving about our cocktail hour and dinner. They do something called a trio where everyone gets a chicken, a steak, a veggie and a potato and then they pass fish which I kind of love so people can have a little bit of everything! For cocktail hour they do some fun hors d'oeuvres like a tuna tartare with a saki shot and a taco station with a margarita shooter which was so cute. Joanne and Chris were amazing, they really know their stuff. Also Joanne truly responds to emails within 10 minutes, I've never seen responsiveness like it. You won't regret your decision to work with them! -

Having east end events catering was the best decision we made for our wedding day. From start to finish Chris and Joanne were incredible to work with. Our day went off without a hitch, from the incredible maitre d Jane to the servers & bartenders they were all beyond perfect. Any request we had they were able to fulfill no questions asked. If they’re available for your wedding book them immediately. We hired them for our fall wedding at rgny, they executed everything perfectly the set up, the food, service everything was 5 stars. Our guests are still talking about how amazing our cocktail hour and dinner was. Jane our Maitre D was the most accommodating, anything we needed she was there, her bubbly personality made us feel at ease all day. Definitely request Jane for your wedding day! The servers were dancing around the room serving dinner they were so kind & friendly. The bartenders I can’t begin to say enough good things about, they made sure everyone had an extra good time! all of Chris and Joanne’s staff are incredible. Thank you all for making our wedding day perfect! -

They saved my wedding day!
I don't know how to begin to express how incredible Chris and Joanne are. My original wedding caterer cancelled less than one month prior to my wedding for 150 people at a venue that required complete customization. Every chair, tray, fork, knife, etc. I was required to bring in and my wedding simply wouldn't have been possible without them. They truly go above and beyond to make your day incredible, and most importantly stress free. The attached photo shows Chris literally wiping the floor during a band break. Their staff set up all of my beautiful tablescapes, welcome stations, etc. Chris also set up my entire ceremony after an issue day of with the rental company. Aside from how above and beyond they went, the food was incredible. I married an Italian so my guests take food very seriously and the positive feedback was resounding. Chris and Joanne truly saved my day and blew every expectation out of the water. We are immensely grateful to have found them! -

We had our wedding at Duck Walk Vineyard in Southold. Chris & Joanne were super easy to work with. Throughout the whole process, Joanne was super responsive and would answer most questions within minutes. Chef Chris goes above and beyond to help in any way he can - they both have a lot of connections on the North Fork and do not hesitate to make an introduction or ask a question on your behalf. Chris helped us bridge gaps between both our venue and our tent vendor and is always in your corner throughout the whole experience.
In terms of the food and staff, the best of the best!! We could not be happier with the taste of everything - our guests were seriously impressed. The staff including our day of coordinator, Jane were extremely helpful! We would recommend over and over again! -

My husband and I cannot say enough great things about Joanne, Chris, Jane and their staff!! Joanne was extremely responsive to our emails/questions and a pleasure to work with from start to finish. We were getting married at Greenport Brewery and were nervous because this was obviously not a typical wedding venue. They had us in to try many different plates and every single one was amazing. Joanne and Chris took the time to sit with us and go over little details and gave us helpful advice before we even booked with them. We felt confident right after that initial meeting. We went with the trilogy option and everyone loved that they got to taste everything instead of having to pick just one option.
Jane was our AMAZING maitre'd and went above and beyond the day of and even in the weeks leading up to the wedding. Jane thought of every single detail and made sure everything went smoothly the day of the wedding. She has a great personality and sense of humor that made us feel calm and relaxed and the bridal party and guests absolutely loved her as well.
A month later and guests are still telling us how amazing the food was (particularly the butternut squash ravioli at cocktail hour that I'm still so sad I missed!!). Joanne, Chris, Jane and the rest of the team did an amazing job with not just the food, but helping us with so many little details that day and I'm sure with so many things that we weren't even aware of. We are so thankful they made our day unforgettable and we would HIGHLY recommend them to everyone! -

Great Food! Great Service
Chris, Joanne, and Tina were wonderful! They spent time with us to create the perfect menu and layout! Everyone is still raving about the food and service at our glamorous backyard wedding. Chris even brought a beautiful driftwood "Love" sign that everyone was taking pictures with and it helped with our wedding theme. They are wonderful to work with, and quickly responded to any questions we had in planning everything last minute during COVID. They made us feel safe and comfortable and made our wedding event so beautiful and intimate. They made our dreams come true. Thank you! -

JoAnne and her husband are true professionals at what they do. With very little notice they put together a wedding we only dreamed of. We selected a menu and did not have to worry about anything else. Their staff was top notch and Jane the Maitre’D was keen on the little details making our ceremony and reception perfect. Our guests went on and on about not only how great the food was; but how the service and coordination was better than the best catering halls they have been to. It doesn’t get any better than them; they go above and beyond to ensure you have smile during the planning of your event and very long after. 2020 brings a lot of challenges to wedding planning, but East End Catering was able to address everything and throw us the wedding of our dreams.
Chris and Joanne go above and beyond what is asked of them. They immediately make you feel at ease with their amazing personalities and professionalism. After meeting with them once you will feel like old friends and will be excited to plan a wedding with them. Unlike other vendors they actually try to help you save money without compromising the big day. Not only were they awesome, but they had the inside scoop on what other vendors to use too. Our guest raved about the food all night long and the service staff Chris and Joanne brought were outstanding.
My wife and I would absolutely recommend East End Catering to all our friends and family. -

What can I say about Chris and Joanne? They did the right thing by us during the entire planning process and truly delivered for our wedding. Their prices were also exceedingly reasonable and affordable, like beyond reasonable. They were incredible to work with and we would recommend them to ANYONE who has any kind of even to host.
First of all, not only do Chris and Joanne run a restaurant and cater, but they also will help you (greatly) with the wedding planning process. When we first decided to get married out east, they had us over their restaurant and presented plate after plate of delicious food (drinks, too!) where we talked about our vision for our wedding. This wasn’t even an official tasting. Then, Chris proceeded to drive us to different vineyards that we may be interested in for our wedding. Once we decided on one, Chris and Joanne also helped us by recommending vendors, who were also awesome and very reasonably priced. Since we did not get married in a traditional hall, so many people asked us if we were getting a wedding planner. With Chris and Joanne, we did NOT need one.
So, about the food. Delicious! And so much! I come from a traditional Italian family and they raved about the stuffed clams and the pasta--not an easy feat. While selecting our menu, Chris and Joanne kept letting us add on and making suggestions for what else to include, at no extra cost. People still talk about our cocktail hour. My husband and I were busy schmoozing during it, but the staff constantly made sure we had food and drinks in hand. We also did not do a traditional sit down dinner, we did a buffet, and they did an amazing job. As an added bonus, people, especially the kids at our wedding--for whom they did not charge us AND made special kid-friendly plates--loved the s'mores pit. Our guests also made room for the Kobe beef sliders and pigs-in-a-blanket from the food truck at the end of the wedding. (I’m convinced they saved me from a hangover.)
It takes not only admirable business owners, but an incredible staff to make an event run as well as our wedding did. Their staff is exceptionally professional and warm. Everyone was extremely accommodating, efficient, and friendly. Fantastic to work with. They set up the wedding beautifully. They even put out corn hole on the lawn outside the vineyard. They also provide a day-of-planner. Jane was ours and she was absolutely outstanding. I could NOT have enjoyed our wedding day as much as I did without her. She was incredibly receptive, open, and hilarious from our initial meeting and went above and beyond to help us plan. You should see the texts and e-mails between us. She even mapped out the table placement for the seating charts--lifesaver! I don’t think my wedding day could have been possible without her. We truly were in good hands.
Finally, they will come to your rescue--no problem is unsolvable for them. Around four weeks before our wedding weekend, we had an issue with our rehearsal dinner--which ⅔ of the wedding guests attended--and had to completely shift gears. When we contacted them, asking them if they could also cater our rehearsal dinner at the new venue, they responded immediately and even made a menu with options that would be different from our wedding. (Their chocolate cake was seriously one of the best desserts I’ve ever eaten. It tasted like a chocolate shake in cake form.) The last-minute change was extremely stressful for us, but once we knew Chris and Joanne were involved, we felt so much better.
To conclude, use East End Events Catering for your wedding or any event. They are exceptional in every aspect! -

Above and beyond fabulous!
Chris and Joanne went above and beyond to make sure our day at Duck Walk Vineyards on 9/29/18 was more perfect than we ever could have imagined. I’ll be the first to admit, I was not an easy bride to please. But Chris and Joanne and our maitre d Tina were so accommodating with everything from other vendor recommendations to decor and set up. We even ended up having more guests than expected coming towards the big day and Chris was so fantastic with helping us find a last minute dance floor and helped with our tent set up right before the wedding. All of our guests are still raving about how fabulous the food was. You don’t really get to have such high quality real food at most weddings these days and it was prepared so beautifully. As a catering company they more than nailed the food but they really do so so much more than the food. They are experts so let go and trust their suggestions. We did and we couldn’t be happier with the way everything turned out! I would recommend them to anyone 100 times over! Thank you SO much to Chris, Joanne, Tina and the entire East End Events catering staff! -

Exceptional food, coordination and service.
Chris and Joanne were wonderful to work with during the planning through our actual wedding day. Our daughter's wedding was in June and his advice, the service and food were exceptional. Our cocktail hour was spectacular as Chris went out of his way to find innovative hors d'oeuvres that looked amazing and tasted even better! We opted for a family style dinner and Chris went out of his way to find appropriate serving platters to accommodate our narrow tables. The food was incredible and if you could request Jane for your coordinator, the day became a pleasure without any issues. I can without reservation give my highest recommendation. Thank you again Chris, Joanne and Jane for making such a special day that much more memorable. -

East End Events catered my wedding last month and I cannot say enough good things about them! Anyone who has planned a wedding knows how stressful and overwhelming It can be but I never once worried about the food for my wedding. Chris and Joanne were amazing to work with and are extremely patient and accommodating. They are just as invested in the outcome of the wedding as you are as a couple. If you have a question or concern they are right on top of It and answer you almost immediately. To say the food itself is delicious is an understatement. Guests loved the raw bar and the trilogy dinner plating. Where else can you have all three meal options instead of choosing one?! They have a great selection of hors d’oeuvres and entrees and are flexible to guest’s allergies or food preferences. Tina was my maitre d and she was phenomenal as well. This whole company strives to make the vision of your wedding day come to life. Chris came to the rescue in a major way. When my liquor was delivered (from an outside company) the tequila was missing from the order. He saved the day by running to a local liquor store and got what I had wanted. East End Events goes above and beyond and I would recommend them to everyone! -

The minute I tried their food at our first tasting with them, I knew they were going to be the caterers for us because the food was absolutely incredible! From there on out, any questions I had they were very responsive and would usually answer in just a few hours, if not less. People are still complimenting our food from our wedding which was already about a month ago! I also had the pleasure of using Jane as my day of coordinator. Jane was so great as well at answering any questions that arose throughout the process. She also took time to browse my Pinterest board to make sure she understood my style and set things up even better than I could have imagined. She brought lots of her own little touches of things I would have never thought to have and it really added such a nice touch to our wedding decor. They were very attentive and made me feel as if I was the only bride they were working with during our time together. As foodies, the quality of the food served at our wedding was our number one priority & let’s just say after meeting with Chris & Joanne, it was “love at first bite!” From the moment we met them, Chris & Joanne made us feel like family. Joanne handled all of the behind the scenes coordination. She was always available to promptly answer any & all questions we had. Chris gave us guidance in choosing the best food options, recommending other vendors, providing us with ideas for table settings & other ways to make our wedding day unique. We were fortunate to attend a wine club dinner at Pellegrini Vineyards that Chris was catering prior to our wedding day. It meant a lot to us to see how well our caterer would work alongside the staff at our wedding venue. The entire event was phenomenal & we knew we were in excellent hands. Chris & Joanne were a pleasure to work with throughout the entire wedding planning process. Their Maître d’, Diane, was amazing & just as responsive & receptive to ideas. The amount of time they put in to make our wedding special was incredible. They are truly passionate about what they do & it shows. The food was prepared & plated with care from the very first time we met at their restaurant to the food they provided for us for the “day of” to our appetizers at the cocktail hour & meals at the reception. They were considerate of all dietary concerns & offered alternatives to meet the varying needs of our guests. Everyone at our wedding raved about the food! Chris & Joanne made our day even more memorable with their subtle special touches & attention to detail. From our pre-ceremony lemonade stand to signature drink & craft beers to an impeccable meal with a triology entrée and late night apps to s’mores bar & rustic dessert station, it was truly a night to remember!

Amanda Sent on 05/24/2018Let me start off by saying, we would have been lost with out East End Events Catering. I walked into our first meeting with them and couldn't answer a single question they had. I had no idea what I wanted. Chris showed me the ideas he had for what would work in the space and things quickly came together. He was so intuitive that when I was showing him my Pinterest board he picked up that every picture had wood chairs, not the white ones I was getting, and made sure to connect me with a vendor who could make the brown chairs happen.
Jane was our Maitre d' and she was fantastic! I cannot rave about her enough. By the end of the process she was like family. Once I started to build my vision she was able to execute it perfectly and was extremely accommodating with any changes. She was checking in with us throughout the wedding, making sure we were fed and did not need anything at all.
Seriously, there were so many tiny details I never thought of, and some I didn't even think of until that day but they had it covered. They are amazing. That is not even including the food! Its been almost a month and people are still talking about my cocktail hour food. -

Liz Sent on 10/13/2017They did it again!!! We have had 2 daughters get married this year and used East End Events Catering for both of them! Chef Chris, his wife Joanne and the very experienced Jane made both events top notch and so stress free. Joanne was always so pleasant, quick and organized with any questions I needed answers to and just plain easy to work with. Jane was our Maitre D for both weddings and worked so effortlessly to make our daughter's, as well as their husbands feel "so tended to" and "special" . Jane also made sure that every detail was perfect!!! What can I say about Chef Chris? He is just amazing, his high energy and love for what he does shines through. He was willing to work with us when we wanted to change things up without any problems, the day before our daughter's September 30th wedding I went into a panic about heat for our tent and Chris was more than helpful in getting us one within an hour! The food was DELICOUS, the presentation beautiful, and his execution for both weddings was flawless. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and for giving me piece of mind on such a special day!!!!
