Eaglewood Resort and Spa was the perfect venue for our wedding. The cozy atmosphere helped to make our Halloween wedding intimate, glamorous, and magical. The staff are wonderful and were able to bring every detail to life and the event coordinator helped us with details that we hadn't thought about during our initial planning process. We also loved the fact that Eaglewood also has an excellent catering package. Our guests have been telling us that they had a wonderful time and that the food was amazing. We enjoyed our time there so much that it was hard to leave after the reception.

Excellent, detail oriented, and supportive catering manager. Professional and friendly staff at all levels. Good value and excellent food quality for cocktails, dinner, and farewell brunch. Nice hotel accommodations and very cooperative front desk staff. Beautiful grounds for a fall wedding.

Our experience with the Eaglewood Event Team was quite positive. From explaining the guidelines for the Tasting, to the composition and later tweaking of the menu, Eileen was knowledgeable and responsive. We even had an out-of-the-box request for an hors d'oeuvre that she relayed to the Chef, who not only accommodated with a special order, but prepared to perfection! Our Event Captain, Margaret, was a mind reader and a gem! Established timelines were followed, the Pavilion looked just as envisioned, the food was spectacular and the event exceeded our expectations. Kudos to the Chef and Kitchen staff - our guests still cannot stop talking about "the best wedding food ever"!

With beautiful scenery outdoors and lovely décor indoors, Eaglewood Resort is a great venue for wedding celebrations. The space is very clean and the staff is welcoming, accommodating, and wonderful to work with for any event. Their entire team is fabulous!

I got married last June and my experience was amazing. Eileen and her team made me feel so excited and kept me at ease our entire wedding. Everything turned out beautiful. It rained, but the Eaglewood team had a plan A, B and C. I would recommend Eaglewood for a wedding venue and weekend getaway.

We had an amazing wedding celebration at Eaglewood. The staff and Andrea were a pleasure to work with and we would definitely recommend this venue! We received lots of compliments on the food and venue space.

My husband and I came across Eaglewood when our initial wedding venue canceled on us. While we were distraught this had happen it was a blessing in disguise. We got married 2/3/2024 with about 250 guest and it was the most perfect day. We choose to do a off season winter wedding for a few reasons:
1. I personally always wanted a white snow winter wedding. Even though we didn’t have snow it was still perfect.
2. After the holidays and the long winters in Chicago a February wedding gave everyone something to look forward to. This was our thought process and feedback we got from our guests.
3. It ended up being more cost effective. Peak season a lot of places tend to be higher priced. Off season a lot of places will give a small discount.

Eileen was wonderful to work with and very response from start to finish. We had our rehearsal dinner the night before at the bar downstairs with food catered through them. The ceremony, and reception were in the banquet hall, with cocktail hour in the hallway. The following day we did a fair well brunch for everyone who stayed at the hotel in the restaurant they have. This was also a big hit and we choose the voucher option they offer where only the guests who have vouchers we would end up paying for. For us good food was a priority on our list. If good food is one of your priorities then this is for sure the venue. We are almost a year out and people are still talking about how great the food was at our wedding. Most people did the filet and prawns option but we also had chicken and pasta options as well that were fantastic. Everyone said and continues to say the cocktail hour food and 4 course dinner is one of the best they have had a wedding.

I would encourage anyone looking for a place that provides it all up to the lodging for the guest to look here. It was the most cost effective place we found that gave a certain architectural elegance and not your normal banquet hall atmosphere. I know summer and fall weddings are highly sought after but don’t totally cut out the idea of an off season wedding. Along with the benefits listed above we also had the venue to ourselves and no other weddings going on which was also extremely nice!

I don't even know where to start - our wedding was at the Eaglewood on 9/7/24 & it was so incredibly perfect. From the beginning, Eileen, was so responsive, professional & helpful throughout the whole wedding planning process. Even though Eileen was busy with other events, she always made sure to respond to my emails. At our tasting, she had a detailed list of things to discuss to ensure there was nothing that we were missing for our wedding, which I greatly appreciated. We had our hotel block at the Eaglewood & from the moment, myself & any guest walked through the doors, the staff was incredibly knowledgable & helpful. I had a lot of things to bring to my room & two staff members, helped me bring all my things up! Our rehearsal was also at the Eaglewood & my guests could not stop raving about how amazing the food was. The compliments for the food continued the following day for the wedding as well! I also received compliments on how gorgeous the resort is! Our wedding photos highlight how gorgeous the golf course & Pavillon are. Again, I truly cannot recommend the Eaglewood more! Our wedding was absolutely perfect & I am beyond happy on how great everything was.

We host our work holiday party at Eaglewood with the help of Eileen Miller and we have for years. Eileen and the staff are willing to accommodate small requests, and are very helpful the day of the event. Our party is in Prairie River restaurant and it has a cozy atmosphere but plenty of space for our ~100 guests. The food is quite good and there are several options for gluten free and vegan. The only thing I would like is an actual vegan dessert that isn't fruit. But the location is convenient and I think the rooms are fairly priced for a group rate.

Overall, we enjoy Eaglewood and plan to return next year for our event.

Our May wedding day at Eaglewood was nothing short of magical! The outdoor ceremony on the golf course was the perfect backdrop to say “I DO;” the Wisteria Rooftop Terrace offered plenty of space for mingling during cocktail hour; and The Pavilion was transformed into an enchanting reception retreat. My husband and I ended the evening in one of the penthouse suites, and although we had many stairs to climb, the room and views from the balcony were worth every step. I can’t sing enough praise for Eileen, her staff, and everyone else at Eaglewood who went above and beyond to make our day so very special!

We were beyond happy with our wedding experience at Eaglewood Resort and Spa this past September. We looked at several venues around the suburbs, some with very similar offerings, but we both felt pulled to Eaglewood. From the first tour to our tasting to the rehearsal to our reception, our wedding experience was truly wonderful.

The property is gorgeous, especially if you are hoping to do a part of your wedding outdoors. We were lucky to have great weather for our ceremony and cocktail hour to be outside, and our reception was in the pavilion. We had envisioned a bright and airy reception space that twinkled at night and were so impressed with how it turned out. The pavilion is spacious, has floor to ceiling windows, and even has a balcony off the front overlooking the golf course. Our wedding ceremony was out on the grass behind the hotel and it was so special to have it out in nature and be able to take photos out around the property.

The food was absolutely delicious and we got many compliments on it. We loved it at our tasting and were so excited share it with our guests. The bar staff were able to accommodate our "signature drinks" for the evening and we also got many compliments on those.

The real MVP of our experience with Eaglewood was our wedding coordinator, Andrea. She was extremely professional and went above and beyond to help make our wedding dreams come true. She kept in close touch with us throughout the whole process, patiently answering our questions (of which there were many!), offering valuable advice and insights, working seamlessly with our vendors, and keeping us on track. She ensured things were set up and looking right on the wedding day and checked in with us throughout the day. We always felt we could count on her, and are so thankful for her partnership in making our day a dream.

We are also very thankful to the rest of the wedding and hotel staff who took great care of our guests, helped us haul in our decor, served our amazing dinner, set up our spaces, and much more.

The hotel itself was wonderful. We, our families, and a few dozen guests stayed there, and it was really convenient to be able to get ready and have everything take place at one location. It's quite a central location if you are in the Chicago suburbs and the parking is great as well.

We could picture ourselves getting married there when we first glimpsed the outdoor ceremony space, and we are so happy we did. We highly recommend Eaglewood as a venue!

We had a wonderful experience having our wedding rehearsal, ceremony, and reception at the Eaglewood Resort. Big shout out to their event coordinator, Eileen Miller. She is highly professional, knowledgeable, responsive, and kind. Our wedding day was rainy and unfortunately need to move everything indoor the last minute. She was quickly able to accommodate our needs and had her team set up the indoor venue right away. The food was also excellent, our guests complimented them so much! Their price is very reasonable and incorporates many amenities. Highly recommend!!! (Btw, excellent driving of the golf cart, my husband loved it!)

We got married at Eaglewood Resort and Spa in March of 2024 and cannot recommend it enough. From the moment I sent my first inquiry email, Eileen was extremely responsive and informative. She walked me through every step of the wedding day process to ensure it ran smoothly. Everyone on her team is professional and kind and work to ensure your needs are met. If you are planning on having out of town guests, there is nothing better than the attached hotel. As a bonus, we were told it was the best wedding food people have had!

Eileen and her team were phenomenal! Throughout the entire process they communicated and answered any questions we had. On our wedding day, Eileen and her team went above and beyond. Everyone was incredibly attentive and made our wedding day absolutely perfect. We got so many compliments on how beautiful the venue was and how delicious the food was. We cannot recommend Eaglewood Resort and Spa enough!

We can not say enough great things about our wedding at Eaglewood Resort & Spa this past November. It was the perfect weekend from start to finish. The workers and staff at Eaglewood are all friendly and genuinely happy for you. The views are beautiful both indoors and outdoors for our wedding pictures. We still are getting comments about how tasty our food was even over a month later. The service was FANTASTIC. The best part of our experience was working with Eileen. She helped us through the entire process. We appreciated her honesty, responsiveness, and genuine care throughout the entire planning process and our wedding day. We would highly recommend Eaglewood for any event.

Eaglewood resort and spa was the absolute perfect venue for our wedding!! I knew I wanted an all in one venue, ceremony, reception, and lodging all in one, and Eaglewood was the perfect place. Robb was our main point of contact, his communication was amazing, fast, and professional. He answered all of my questions, made sure I had all of the exact details I wanted, and made sure the day went so smooth. All of the staff at Eaglewood was so nice and friendly, it truly is a resort hidden in the Chicago suburbs. The food selection was outstanding and delicious, we received so many compliments. Robb also made sure to let me know everything that was gluten free!! And walking to our penthouse suite after the wedding was the best after such a long day, and we had a bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries waiting for us! They also made sure the suite was spotless when we came back to our room. We enjoyed it so much was stayed for 2 extra nights after the wedding and cannot wait to return for our one year anniversary.

We had both our ceremony and reception and Eaglewood. We worked with Lori through all of our planning. She was responsive, flexible, and so easy to talk with! The food at the reception was exceptional. We received so many compliments on it. Eaglewood ultimately made our wedding spectacular. If we could do it all over again, we'd choose Eaglewood over and over!

Beautiful wedding venue! From the second we walked into the gorgeous lobby we just felt like it was the place for our wedding. Upon meeting Robb our wedding coordinator, it solidified our choice to book Eaglewood. Robb was so much fun to work with and had an incredible amount of excitement and energy. He was very quick to respond and accommodated us with every request. The day of our wedding we were nervous as everyone always says there will be things that do not go as planned. I must say, I have never seen or heard of any hotel/venue go to the lengths that Eaglewood did to make sure that my wife and I were happy with every aspect of our special day. There were things that didn’t go perfectly, but our Eaglewood Captain Margaret and the Banquet Manager Sydney bent over backwards to help us through our evening. It was very comforting knowing that the Eaglewood team was truly there to support us through every aspect of the night. My wife was having some issues getting the dressed bustled before the walk-ins, and while the bridesmaids were working to get her ready, our Captain Margaret was right there checking in, bringing her food, water, and anything else she needed. Throughout the night, she checked in and got us drinks, and was very patient during time of stress. The resort has a bar downstairs that is open until 2AM. Our reception ended at 10PM, and the bar downstairs kept our party going until we finally closed the place at around 2:30! That was a really nice aspect of our evening we didn’t really think about beforehand, but it was great to be able to have someplace right there to extend the evening.
The resort is amazing. I cannot wait until our 1 year complementary anniversary stay so I can check out the golf course and some of its others amenities.

We had an incredible experience with Robb and the entire Eaglewood staff! We had several specific requests and Robb was more than willing to modify the packages to fit our vision. The staff was attentive, the food was excellent and we received numerous compliments on both the food, service, and overall venue.

My experience of having my wedding at Eaglewood could not have been better! My ceremony was on the golf course followed by cocktail hour on the upstairs outdoor terrace and the reception in the tented pavillion. Everything was so beautiful and our guests can't stop raving about how AMAZING the food was! Every staff member we encountered was attentive, professional, and made sure they went above and beyond to make my day perfect. We worked with Michelle and couldn't have been happier with her from the start. I referred to her as my fairy god mother since anything I wanted or any question I asked got taken care of immediately. Everything about my wedding day ran smoothly and was completely perfect. I couldn't be happier with my choice of using Eaglewood!

AMAZING VENUE!! We couldn't have ask for a better day at this stunning resort. From day one, Robb and Lori made us feel comfortable and guided us throughout our wedding planning period. They went above and beyond, not just on our wedding day but any time we contacted them with questions. While we were searching for wedding venues, we were running into having to have so many vendors and the price was getting steeper and steeper. With Eaglewood, the catering is in-house and with any of the wedding packages you choose, you will receive much more than you feel you pay for which was very nice. They were extremely detailed oriented and made our special day exceed our expectations. The pictures of the resort and their weddings made us interested in the location, but seeing the resort in person sealed the deal. What a great venue!!

We recently had our wedding at the Eaglewood Resort & Spa, and it was wonderful! Robb was kind, helpful and patient from our very first meeting. He took his time, and made sure that we understood everything that was going on. We had our wedding ceremony on the golf course, and our reception in the Pavillon and both sites were great! The hotel staff, as well as the catering staff were also very friendly and helpful. It rained on the day of my wedding, but Robb and his staff made sure that our guests were taken care of, and had umbrellas ready. The food, drinks and cake were delicious. Everything went smoothly, and Robb is to thank for that! We look forward to returning the Eaglewood in the future :)

Eaglewood was the best part of my wedding experience by far! It was clean, beautiful, and the perfect place for a wedding. There are a lot of great places to take pictures, and my husband and I did a first look on the staircase (pictures turned out great!). Around Christmas time there's a giant tree in the lobby and lots of decorations all around the resort. The price is right as well! Everyone raved about the food, and the staff was incredibly nice! The coordinator is Robb, and he was the best. He answered all my annoying questions quickly, took the time out to make sure everything was perfect and to my liking, and made us laugh along the way. You won't regret having your wedding at Eaglewood.

I am so happy we chose Eaglewood for our wedding reception.everything was exactly what I imagined and I wouldn't have changed a thing. We had our reception in the Red Oak Ballroom and the room was absolutely stunning and looked so elegant. We worked with Michelle Mazza who was fantastic. She answered all questions my husband and/or I had in a tindly manner and also offered suggestions and advice to ensure our reception was perfect. The food was delicious and our guests are still talking about how great the food was. It was nice to have the hotel connected and the accommodations were great. My parents and my husbands parents were upgraded to junior suited and since the hotel was not that full on the day of our wedding my sisters and my husbands brothers were also upgraded to junior suites.

I am so happy that I got married at Eaglewood Resort and Spa. Our original venue cancelled our wedding and switching to Eaglewood was a blessing! The staff was kind, welcoming, helpful, and very professional. The event coordinators were organized and quick to respond to my emails and phone calls. The ceremony and reception went smoothly and I was able to have the wedding of my dreams!

My stay here was an amazing experience. We enjoyed the room as well as the amenities the resort had to offer.

In searching for a ceremony and reception location for our 350 guest wedding in March 2014, I visited about 20 different locations. As brides in my situation know, its not easy finding a large venue in the Chicagoland area with reasonable prices and a gorgeous atmosphere. But, the Eaglewood really has all of that. From the first day I went to visit the Eaglewood, I fell in love with it. It is such a warm, inviting, and beautiful location. I didn't think I could find that type of place away from my Rocky Mountain homeland. And that's exactly what I wanted for my wedding. The staff, and in particular, Robb Rybicki, were just fantastic. Robb made the entire planning process seamless and I knew I could trust him for all of the details on the big day. He also made our tasting such an enjoyable experience that my parents and in-laws keep talking about what an amazing, accommodating place the Eaglewood was. The food also turned out amazing, even with a buffet and for such a large crowd. I'd recommend this venue to anyone, for any wedding, large or small.

Everything at Eaglewood from start to finish was top notch. When we chose Eaglewood we worked with Maureen Hecklesburg. Maureen was open, friendly, professional, and extremely helpful in getting us everything we wanted in our contract and answering every question we had. During the year before our wedding, Maureen left Eaglewood and our transition to our new planner, Michelle Mazza was entirely seamless. There were no problems and Michelle picked up right where Maureen left off. She was open and responsive and amazing to work with. The reservations manager Sarah Mabeley for our room block was also amazing to work with. She accommodated our every need and answered all emails and questions in a very timely manner. The wedding rate was extremely affordable for our guests and the rooms and everything at the hotel was just wonderful for our guests' stays. We held our wedding ceremony outside near the putting green; they only allow one outdoor ceremony so we had the entire space to ourselves. It's a beautiful green space and a perfect blank slate for you to make your own. Our reception was held in the pavilion and was just absolutely amazing and breathtaking. Even with other receptions going on at the same time it never even really registered. Eaglewood does a great job of stewarding everyone and is a well oiled machine. The pavilion was spacious and set up beautifully. The service from start to finish was perfect. The staff was quick and friendly. The presentation of all the dinner courses was absolutely superb. It was 5 star service. And the food was absolutely delicious! I honestly cannot rave more about our stay and our experience hosting our wedding at Eaglewood. Everything from the start of planning until we checked out of our suite on the Monday morning after our wedding was just absolutely perfect. If you are looking for a hotel or golf course wedding, this is the best one stop shop!

We first visited the resort in December 2013. It was very important to me that our guests did not have to travel or have any spare time between events and also everyone who wanted to, especially the wedding party, could stay at the hotel right after the party, these were the criteria I used when searching for venues in our area. The location was perfect, lots of parking, attached hotel, beautiful Frank Lloyd Wright decor and of course a golf course! We met up with Michelle Mazza who was very helpful and gave us a tour of the venue showing us all of the different rooms we could choose depending on the size of our party, she gave us options on the packages we wanted to pick and let us know which dates in June were available. Over the weekend we saw a few more venues and decided that Eaglewood Resort was the perfect one for us. We wanted a one stop shop, which was exactly what Michelle was able to offer us. We had our rehearsal dinner at the bowling alley after a short review at the golf course, the day of the wedding we had a penthouse suite ready with beautiful views and plenty of space to get ready, I had my hair and make up done at the room and so did all of the bridesmaids. It was very easy to coordinate rooms for everyone in the bridal party. A few days before the wedding I dropped off all of the favors for the guest, goodie bags for the hotel rooms, signs, place cards, card box, etc... I left it all with Michelle and gave her simple instructions on where and how I wanted them to be placed. The ceremony started at 5 PM and it was immediately followed by a cocktail hour, which was also outside and then the reception. Everything went very smoothly and when I saw our ballroom I was in awe how beautiful it looked, it was absolutely stunning. Michelle made sure all the details were taken care of and I did not have to worry about a thing throughout the evening. Guests raved about the location, venue, drinks and especially the food! It was simply perfect!

We had our wedding reception at Eaglewood and I could not be happier with how everything turned out! Robb was our wedding coordinator, and was amazing the entire time. He was always so quick to answer any e-mails or questions, and was so accommodating with everything. The night was absolutely perfect. The Eaglewood team had everything set up in a timely manner, and just the way we wanted it. The service all night was excellent, and I definitely felt taken care of. Not to mention, this place is beautiful with amazing views!

We had a wonderful experience at Eaglewood. Amanda was our coordinate, and she was always quick to answer questions, accommodate requests, and even schedule a call/in-person meeting if needed. Everything went off without a hitch!

We recently had our wedding reception at Eaglewood and couldn't have been happier with everything. From the outstanding food and service, to the unbelievably accommodating and friendly staff - it was first class!!! Maureen at Eaglewood helped coordinate everything and we did not have to worry about a thing! We had over 80 hotel rooms booked, our reception, after party (yes... they helped us host an after party) and brunch the next day all at Eaglewood and everyone was raving about it. The venue is gorgeous, food is OUTSTANDING, and the scenery is absolutely perfect for a wedding -- especially if you want to get some pictures outside. I would 100% recommend Eaglewood to anyone.

We had a wonderful experience working with the staff at Eaglewood! The venue was beautiful--we were in the Pavilion. It is pricey, but you get what you pay for--great staff, delicious food, beautiful venue. The planning process was great with Michelle; she always responded to any of our concerns right away. I HIGHLY recommend this venue for an outdoor wedding, as it's gorgeous and we were able to easily transition from our outdoor ceremony to our cocktail hour on the terrace, and then back down to our reception in the Pavilion. Thanks to everything being in one location, my husband and I were even able to enjoy cocktail hour with our guests. As I mentioned the food is wonderful--Eaglewood provided a tasting that was unbelievable, but I was skeptical that the food would be that good at our event--my worries were unfounded, as the the guests raved about the food!

Eileen Miller and the team at Eaglewood were fantastic to work with for our two-day wedding in July! We did a small Indian wedding the first day and a big western wedding the second day. From the start, the team at Eaglewood was accommodating and flexible to make our dream wedding a reality.

Their familiarity with Indian weddings, various event spaces and on-site activities ensured that our guests had a fantastic experience throughout our wedding weekend. The food and attention to detail were top notch, as was the Eaglewood team’s ability to recommend other vendors and work seamlessly throughout the weekend.

They also made helpful suggestions throughout the wedding process to make sure we took advantage of all their venue had to offer, without being too overbearing or annoying at any time.

We were very happy with our choice of Eaglewood for our ceremony and reception. It was wonderful having everything take place in on spot! Loved working with Michelle, she was very responsive and always willing to help answer my hundreds of questions. It would be nice if they had gotten ahead a bit on some of the questions with some information ahead of time explaining some common items like what exactly they provide and how things will be set up, taken down, choices you need to make, etc. instead of having to figure it all out along the way. Everything went pretty well the day of the wedding. Some weather issues caused us some problems - but I would say Eaglewood (Michelle in particular) handled it all with grace. Beautiful resort and space to get married! If we had been able to do our ceremony outdoors as planned it would have been gorgeous (can't control the weather though!) The service throughout the night was wonderful - and the food was great, and that is something I will not say about most weddings I have attended. We also took advantage of Keglers - the bowling alley and bar on site and hosted our rehearsal dinner there. So much fun!

Love this place and all our guests did too! Stayed the night before and was accommodating for us in the morning of the wedding and after party. A Breeze from beginning to end.

We searched many venues for our wedding of over 250 guests and quite honest couldn't have been happier with Eaglewood. From the first visit to the morning after the wedding communication was great and Robb always had my parents and my fiancé and me at ease.
We got married November 1 and really wanted and outdoor ceremony but were unsure of how thee weather would be. Robb did a fantastic job helping us and dealing with our decision a few days before hand.

All of our guests raved about all of the food. From the appetizers to the main course to the candy bar at the end of the night. Everyone was so accommodating and and we had over 40 rooms booked - each guest loved the resort.

I would highly recommend the resort for any type of gathering - especially a wedding and reception. It was great having it all in one place and such an easy transition. They give you so many options and are so flexible with it all.

Choosing Eaglewood for my wedding location was the best decision I made! My husband and I got married on the golf course then had the reception in the pavilion, and our guests were so complimentary on the view during the ceremony! It was something different which is what my husband and I wanted. The staff was so amazing to work with as well! I planned my wedding with Robb Rybicki and he was the best! He always responded back on time and was very helpful throughout the whole process! Even the day of, the staff was always asking what they could do for me! My guests loved the venue and I would recommend it to anyone getting married!

Eaglewood was everything we wanted plus some! The event planner was always professional and great at reminding you when things needed to be done. The venue was clean and every single staff member we encountered was always willing to go above and beyond. From the ceremony to cocktail hour to the reception site, everything was perfect!

We loved our venue! We had A LOT of guests coming from out of town, so we wanted a hotel for our reception venue to be guest friendly. The Eaglewood allowed us to have the hotel (with a reasonable guest rate, lots of amenities and free parking), but also made us feel like we were at a country club with the elegant, tasteful ballroom and golf course view. We worked with Maureen, who was great. She was less responsive initially, but when the time came was very attentive (I'm sure just prioritizing the sooner weddings). Food was fantastic, many compliments! They have a campaign parade, which the guests loved, and we chose to do a martini bar with ice sculpture at the cocktail hour, which was a HUGE hit! There is also a bar downstairs, which was open until 2AM with a bonfire, so the party never stopped! We did a brunch the morning after and that was extremely reasonable and tasty as well! Overall... A+++

The location and amenities of this place are so beautiful! Also our wedding coordinator Maureen, made sure to help us have the most stress free planning and made it fun! The wedding ceremony in the golf course was beautiful, the reception and dinner were so good that our guests are still raving about it. I highly recommend this spot for your wedding if you want beautiful pictures and a great dinner reception and service. Couldn't be happier with our choice.

We had our ceremony and reception here and everything was perfect! We worked with Robb Rybicki from the catering department and he was so responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. We were supposed to have the ceremony outside, but it was raining the day of our wedding so they were sure to have multiple back-up options and were absolutely helpful in making sure the day went smoothly. The food was tremendous! I've had many people say it was the best wedding food they have ever had and there was a ton of it! The food at the tasting was actually a lot worse then it was at the reception so I was very pleasantly surprised. I could not recommend Eaglewood enough they really did make our wedding day fantastic!

What can we say about Eaglewood Resort and Spa? We did not have an appointment when we were shown the place. We were driving by seen the place and took a chance. We got to work with Michelle Zurlo, she was really helpful, and answered all my questions. She did everything possible to work around our schedule and budget.

We had the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception there. The ceremony was beautiful; everything was set up as we asked. The cocktail hour went smoothly and everyone could not stop talking about the appetizers that we served. Our reception was so nice. Everything turned out great. The amount of food was unbelievable. All of my guests were amazed at the presentation and the amount of food. We are still getting calls on how nice everything was and how great the food was. We know when planning our wedding we didn’t want anyone to go home hungry. I think it was a success.
I had given Michelle Zurlo short notice that I wanted to come in and show the table setting and area that everything will be going on to my bridesmaids and she had it all set up for us girls. She always made sure to get back to me ASAP.
The day went great. Everything was beautiful.

The venue was beautiful and we received many compliments! We wanted a room with windows and it was exactly what we wanted...windows, spacious (no one felt cramped), fit a dance floor (we didn't want tables to be removed), champagne parade, uplighting, etc. Our only complaint is that our original event coordinator left, during the planning stage, and then the next coordinator left, too. So, by the time of our wedding reception we were talking to our 3rd coordinator. Everything went smoothly but it stressed me out a bit. Otherwise, it was gorgeous and they were very attentive the night of...asking constantly if we needed anything and didn't bother us with little things so we could enjoy the night.

We had a wonderful wedding at Eaglewood! We worked with Michelle and planned our wedding reception from Texas. We met with her a few times in person but she was always very responsive via phone or email.
Our ceremony was held at a local church. We returned to Eaglewood for pictures on the course, which turned out beautifully. Cocktail hour was outside on the Red Oak Patio. It was a bit crowded but no one seemed to mind. It seemed that the bar and cheese/vegetable stations were harder to see and get to. The servers did a nice job of getting appetizers to everyone though. The dinner and dancing were held in the Red Oak Ballroom. We had 200 guests and it filled the room nicely without being crowded. We were unsure of their "champagne parade" but it was very fun and got the dinner started in a fun and upbeat way. Everyone raved about the appetizers and dinner. We offered a choice of filet, salmon and chicken and served them with au gratin potatoes and braised carrots. They require you to use Oak Mill Bakery for your cake, and while we were less than impressed at our cake tasting, the cake and ice cream were wonderful on the night of. Guests were also impressed with the candy bar, which they customized with some of our favorite sweets! The late night pizza and quesadillas were also a hit after lots of drinks and dancing! The servers were excellent and always made a point to make sure the groom and I were taken care of and happy with how things were going.
They add their 24% service charge to almost everything - not just the reception food/beverage but also the audio/visual rental and hosted breakfast buffet. 24% was the highest of all venues that we considered.
We stayed here for 5 nights and had 80 guest rooms in our block. Everyone enjoyed their stay and the front desk, housekeeping and bellmen are very welcoming and accommodating! We had a wonderful experience working with Michelle and truly feel that we had a perfect wedding day!

We had a great experience with Eaglewood. Maureen, our event planner, was AMAZING. The food was outstanding and our guests are still raving about the beer and corn chowder. The only thing that was unfortunate is that there was a conference going on at the same time as our event. Luckily, during our event there were no hiccups however during the planning process it was stressful since they were juggling both events. Overall, great experience and I would recommend them to anyone looking to hold an event there.

We loved this venue. They took care of everything from the ceremony to the reception. The food is amazing (the taste was really fun!). They remembered the little details that everyone forgets in the craziness of the day. It is a little expensive but it was worth it. I wouldn't have changed a thing.

Our original banquet hall burnt to the ground and Eaglewood was EXTREMELY accomodating and willing to work with our budget. Everyone was GREAT and professional. We had to change venues in less than 2 months because of the fire but they were willing to work with us. Very flexible and understanding. We worked with Deborah. She was wonderful! The day was perfect!

We had our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception at Eaglewood. We liked the idea of having all events for the wedding in one central location.
Our ceremony was on the golf course. The golf course was well maintained, so the backdrop of our wedding was beautiful. The staff set up a table in the front for our unity ceremony and tables in the back for our DJ and programs.
Our cocktail hour was on the Wisteria Terrace. The guests seems to enjoy cocktail hour, all the delicious appetizers, and watching us on the golf course as we took our photos.
Our reception was located at the Pavilion. We absolutely loved the Pavilion. Our original wedding coordinator was Rob, but after not hearing back from him, we reached out he had left Eaglewood. Lori became our event coordinator. She was very helpful during our food tastings, all the emails back and forth with questions. The week before the wedding, she let us know that she was going on vacation during our wedding, so another coordinator (another Lori) became our wedding day coordinator. Lori was also very very helpful during our rehearsal and on wedding day.

We had an absolute blast on our wedding day, and would definitely recommend Eagelwood Resort & Spa.

My event coordinator at the Eaglewood was Michelle. Michelle was great over the 16 months working with her, but she would forget things sometimes that we had previously discussed, so I would recommend doing most of your communication via email.

Overall, I had a good experience working with them over the time leading up to my wedding. While I had an incredible day on my wedding day, all of the little things that did go wrong (or didn't go quite right), were due to the Eaglewood staff: The venue used a laptop connected to the projector for the slideshow, and the laptop died a few minutes before the end of the slideshow (there was even a pop up warning about the low battery halfway through the slideshow). We had asked to have the breakfast coupons given to the B & G, not to the guests, but 5 coupons were given out to guests before we checked in and corrected the mistake. Additionally, our guest book was not put with the rest of our items, so it never made it out to get signed (which I'm actually really bummed about because we had painted these big wooden letters of our initials that we were going to hang up in our home).

However, after letting Michelle know about these issues, she has compensated us for them. Of course, I would have preferred they not happen at all, but at least they didn't just say "too bad."

As I said, I had a great wedding and a great time at my wedding, but I would have liked more members of the Eaglewood staff to understand that, while they have to work multiple weddings each day, or each weekend, each couple only gets the one wedding, and the little details matter. In reality, probably only 2 or 3 people at Eaglewood actually made these mistakes, of the maybe 30 people that had something to do with my event, and these things were more annoying than actually damaging, so none of these were the end of the world.

Overall: beautiful venue, very accommodating, would recommend.

Given what this venue costs, wasn’t impressed with how the day turned out. To name a few things, I had a good friend of mine sing me and the bridal party down the aisle, but instead of hearing her, all I heard was static from their crappy speakers. We added on champagne to be served before the ceremony and was told one of the servers spilled a whole tray on some of the guests. We had a really cute cake topper that somehow ended up being thrown away by one of the employees. Not sure how that happened, when the box was literally labeled cake topper.
I know not everything goes perfectly on the wedding day, but it just felt like it was one hiccup after another.
If I could go back and do it all over again, would probably choose a different venue.
