There are no words to adequately express how incredible Eileen is! She made sure our 3 event marathon wedding weekend was absolutely perfect. If you’re not sure on whether you want a planner or who to choose, this is your sign you need Eileen. I was a DIY bride at a venue with all outside vendors and having her *saved* me. She’s incredibly organized, supports your vision when you have one and advises when you don’t, has incredible relationships with many of the best vendors in Carmel Valley (and was quick to connect with any she did not know), and she’s truly one of the most kind, positive, and down to earth people. Your wedding day and the time leading up to it are of course stressful (understatement), but she will make you feel like it’s all going to be ok AND she’ll make sure it IS all ok! A few things out of our control went wrong (it’s inevitable at a 200 person event) but anything that came up she handled quickly and without anyone even noticing. Hire E Events Co for your wedding I promise you won’t regret it!!! -

I felt beyond comfortable and at ease from the first phone call I had with Eileen back in spring 2021. She was the only planner who I felt saw me for me and was willing to help me make my wedding weekend dreams come true. They were SO responsive and knowledgeable whenever I had the simplest questions or larger issues. Last minute we needed to rent a golf cart for my grandmother whose health wasn't great and wanted something to move her around the venue, which actually turned out to be an amazing help throughout the entire weekend. On a whim, I thought I would ask Eileen if she knew how we could do that. She responded within minutes and knew of an amazing vendor who dropped off and picked up the golf cart from the venue. We will forever talk about how helpful and fun it was to drive the golf cart around and it was all thanks to Eileen. Now if I could I would sing my gratefulness for Sonia from the mountain tops. Sonia was my day of team, along with the awesome Bella. I began working closely with Sonia about 8 weeks out and we clicked instantly. She was willing to go every mile to make sure my husband and I had the best weekend possible. Every little thing we asked for and didn't have to ask for was brought to life. I was quite the anxious bride and Sonia was right there to keep everything going as planned and everything on time So I didn't have to worry or think about it. Even when there were some discrepancies around my vendors she had our backs and gave us sound advice. I am disappointed I only got to work with her for such a short time. E Events Co. was worth every penny and I would work with them over and over again! -

Incredible!
Eileen and Paige made our wedding the best day ever!
We were so grateful for Eileen's superior organizational skills, level-headed guidance as we waffled about design choices, and calm, methodical attitude as she helped us postpone due to COVID and re-coordinate with vendors. A wedding held at a private home means lots of complications and logistics that we hadn't foreseen - but from our first walkthrough with Eileen, we could tell she had seen every possible scenario before and we were in good hands.
Paige stepped in when Eileen was on maternity leave, and we were so lucky to have her take charge during the last couple weeks before the wedding, and of course the day-of! She handled the seemingly thousands of tiny, last-minute details with such grace and humor. And she made my mother the happiest each time she said, "yes, I'll take care of it!"
This wedding would not have happened without E Events Co. They made it an incredible day, and we are so grateful. Definitely worth every penny!

Eileen is the best wedding planner I have ever worked with. My husband and I own a wedding venue in Aptos. We have been in the event industry for our entire careers, first at a hotel, then as caterers, now as venue owners. Over the years, we have worked at hundreds of events and have worked with numerous wedding planners. Eileen is one of the few that have it all... experience, warmth, professionalism, excellent design skills, grace under pressure, and the desire to exceed clients’ expectations. Eileen and her team have planned and coordinated at least sixty weddings at Sand Rock Farm since we have owned it and all of them were a success. I can personally attest to the fact that both negative reviews Eileen received were unwarranted, unfair, and really more of a reflection of the clients than of E Events. If you are looking for a planning partner to give you peace of mind and amazing design, E Events Co is the best of the best! -

Safe & Sound
Eileen and her whole E. Events team are lifesavers and indispensable for any event with lots of moving pieces and delicate coordination required. As an industry insiders, we have worked with them (Eileen, Paige, Sonya + more) many many times and always breathe a sigh of relief when we see their name on the vendor list. Doing your job is one thing, but doing it with genuine care and calm attentiveness is another. That's the thing about working with E.Events : they always make sure you are heard and somehow stay efficient and on top of it all. From behind the scenes we've seen them at every turn communicating and making sure one part of the day is prepared to transition to the next. As a wedding vendor they let us know everything we need to well in advance and set us up for success. So many of our success are a result of their help and we wish we could work EVERY wedding with them -

Eileen and her team are the best! They are professional and organized in every aspect of the wedding planning process. We hired E Events for our month of planner and Eileen helped us with everything from picking out our rentals, all our paper goods, lighting, you name it, E Events was there to help! E Events made sure our wedding day went by flawlessly and helped with everything they could including organizing vendor drop off and pick up. We didn't worry about anything, they totally had it all covered! I highly recommend E Events and cannot that Eileen and her team enough for helping make our dream wedding come to life! -

Eileen and her entire team from E Events were absolutely AMAZING. We could not have done it without her. We did the month-of package and it was perfect for what we needed. Even with having to plan our Carmel Valley wedding from out of state, Eileen jumped in quickly to make sure everything was prepared and that we felt comfortable up until the day after our wedding! The rehearsal and wedding day-of were flawless and there was not a detail missed. E Event’s eye for design and perfection is what truly made our day flawless. We cannot recommend E Events enough - best thing you’ll spend your money on by far. Thank you to the E Events team for making our big day so special and completely stress-free! -

Russell Sent on 08/02/2018Ok - so to be upfront, I am not a former bride or groom, I'm a wedding professional (a photographer) and I have worked with Eileen on many occasions. I'm writing this review because she is truly one of the best in the industry. I hear it from every couple that works with her, and I experience it myself in the course of the planning process on just seeing how she works on the day of the wedding. She's lovely to be around (shes great with the couple, the guests and all of the vendors) - cool-headed and still gets things done...AND her weddings are always BEAUTIFUL. Seriously some of the most gorgeous weddings I have ever shot. I realize that it's difficult to see what a planner and coordinator do for a wedding by looking at a website - but E Events does a fantastic job in helping you realize your vision, and you can trust that I really know what I'm talking about. I cannot recommend her or her business enough. -

User2596910 Sent on 05/04/2016Eileen is AMAZING. She helped us pull of a stunning launch event that was more than what we imagined. I had some idea of how I wanted to incorporate some themes, but Eileen and her team of creative designers completely outdid our expectation. My favorite part was the attention she focused on the photo backdrop, which gave our social media marketing a boost :) Bottom line, she listens and delivers exceptionally, on time, on budget and with a warm, but get-it-done, demeanor. Loved working with her and the members of The Loft Collective!! -
User2524371 Sent on 02/01/2016Eileen is a goddess. I contacted her in a panic a month or two before my very last minute wedding and what could have been a stressful experience was transformed into a very calm and well run planning process. My mom and sister referred to her as "the fairy godmother".
I had a vision of a simple, intimate, but chic and beautiful wedding and she turned my vision into a reality. Every single detail was perfect and exactly as I had imagined. She took an idea and ran with it.
She was always available via phone, text, email whenever I had questions or concerns. But it is important to mention that she never overwhelmed me with emails or phone calls. She interfaced with the vendors on my behalf and kept her emails concise, thus taking the pressure out of the planning phase.
She has incredible taste. I trusted her with picking out rentals as well as vendors such as the photographer, caterer, florists, and make-up artist. and everyone was amazing. They were exactly what I was looking for in terms of style and price-point.
Eileen not only designed the whole stunning event, she kept everything running smoothly, making sure we were on time, etc. She even went out into my mother's garden and cut me a bouquet the morning of my wedding and magically appeared with a glass of champagne at the exact moment I needed one before the ceremony.
There are no words to express our gratitude to her for designing and coordinating such a unique and special event (the civil ceremony followed by a tree planting ceremony, transportation, a farm to table lunch in Pescadero, a crawfish boil in Woodside, s'mores around a fire pit and drinks/dancing).
I still tear up thinking about this day and how perfect it was... all thanks to Eileen.
Also, she is so incredibly nice and has a great sense of humor. I will genuinely miss working with her! -

User2524831 Sent on 02/02/2016I cannot even start writing a good review for her. My wedding was a half-way-around-the-world-destination wedding. I had to plan everything from the Philippines and Eileen was my go to girl. From our first meeting up to weeks AFTER the wedding, Eileen has been extremely helpful (yes, even after the wedding). She referred the BEST wedding photographers, dj and florist. She helped us get organized by creating a timeline and making sure all vendors were on the same page. She magically knew how I envisioned my wedding so I had such a calm and perfect day.
I initially chose Eileen as my organizer because I saw how great her taste was through online photos. She knew how to do stylish, classy and elegant weddings. Just from online photos alone, I knew she was the perfect organizer for me.
Leading up to the big day, Eileen kept me on track by sending me vendor updates and suggestions for some of the small things I forgot to decide on. Planning a wedding can be extremely overwhelming and I thank Eileen for being so organized that we did not forget a single detail!
Other than being so organized, Eileen is such a sweetheart. On the day of the wedding, I remember her asking me if she can do anything to help me calm my nerves---she was not just an organizer but also a bridesmaid in disguise! She reminded me that she had everything under control and I had nothing to worry about.
I was a bride with a lot of nice, jumbled up ideas. I was a bride who knew what I wanted but was also not 100% sure of my decisions. I wanted my wedding to be a perfect mix of love, fun, romance, entertainment, laughter, tears, good food and good wine. If you are a bride and relate to any of the above, I really recommend that you choose E Events for your wedding. You will not regret it and I am pretty sure you will be writing a review even longer than this full or praises. -

It’s clear that Eileen has taken on too many weddings, which is jeopardizing the services that she provides. The owner of the venue actually expressed this as an issue the day after our wedding. Given that her fees are not cheap, we were expecting she would limit her number of weddings to the number she could actually handle, which doesn’t seem to be the case. As you’ll see, she has no reviews from 2019 here and only a handful on The Knot. This is a clear sign that her services aren’t what they used to be, as we live in an age where people would rather stay silent if they had a poor or mediocre experience than to rock the boat by leaving a negative review.
Our day-of coordinator was Hayley McCarthy. It felt as though this was the first wedding she had handled on her own. We had quite a few issues during the planning process and our actual wedding day.
We actually believe our day and entire planning experience would have been smoother had we not worked with Eileen and her team. We ended up handling a lot of the logistics ourselves, needed to correct a number of Eileen and Hayley’s mistakes, and found Hayley’s day-of coordination to be chaotic and stressful.
Unfortunately, when we offered feedback to them, it wasn’t received professionally. As was stated in their response to us, they stand by their team, which they seem to put ahead of their clients’ experiences and a desire to improve their business. No one was there to evaluate Hayley’s performance but us, yet there was a blind loyalty to Hayley’s perspective of our day. We were hoping that our feedback could improve their future weddings so that other couples wouldn’t have our same experience.
Any mistakes we mentioned, which were clearly avoidable, were cast aside as normal wedding day hiccups. This term, “normal hiccups,” seemed to serve as a catchall excuse for the issues that were caused by their lack of preparation.
If you’re planning to use Eileen, ask to see the email chain between the two of us regarding our wedding feedback. This will give you a good idea of how they respond to challenges when they arise and the types of hurdles you may face if you hire them.
I believe their services are worth 1/4 of the price they charge, yet we wish we could have foregone their services in the first place.
This is the only wedding day you ever get, so be careful and certain when making the decision on who to trust with planning it.
