  Amazing Letterpress Company!!

  DWRI was excellent to work with. Lois was very responsive and helped us create an affordable invitation that was personal to us. They had endless colors, fonts and designs but the whole experience felt very personal. We also used them to create day of materials which were a hit! Cannot recommend DWRI enough!

  Beautiful invitations and fantastic service

  We are thrilled with our letterpress save the dates, invitations, day-of signage, and thank you notes. DWRI has a beautiful selection of past custom wedding invitations to look at and take inspiration from. We were involved in the design process and Dan and Lois's communication was excellent at every point in the process. They explained pricing and options transparently and checked in multiple times. The quality of the invitations and our experience with DWRI staff were top notch.

  LOVE our personal invitations!

  I loved working with DWRI Letterpress to create our one of a kind wedding invitations! Lois worked closely with me to make sure the vision I had came to life, gave excellent creative suggestions, and adapted quickly to any feedback I had or changes I asked to make to the drafts she shared. I felt like I had the option to personalize any detail I wanted. We live in DC, so I thought the long distance might make the process difficult, but it was truly a breeze. Once the invites were done, they were carefully packaged and shipped to us so we could include personal notes and assemble them ourselves as I requested. I had the envelopes printed with addresses which was great, but they also included some extra blank ones in case we needed them. The invites are just gorgeous, and the quality is amazing. I'm really excited to send these out to our guests! I just can't say enough positive things, and highly recommend working with DWRI Letterpress! Artists are the best!

  Custom invites: i said yes!

  Lois was amazing! I first reached out to Lois because I wanted a true letter press wedding invite. She responded within the same day and even invited me to her shop in Providence RI. After reviewing a few samples, we were able to get busy. I sent over Lois a few inspirational ideas and wanted a very custom check list. She delivered, and they came out exceptional. We got so many complements and we wowed our guests. Also, it was great to not have to worry about choosing paper, envelopes, etc. We did an online vendor for our save the dates, and it was very overwhelming. Lois did it all for us including envelope addressing. It is all about the details and Lois knows that. I highly recommend her!

  Truly special

  I work in the space industry, and we had a "a night under the stars" theme for our wedding. We worked with Lois at DWRI who created some absolutely beautiful navy paper with gold foil letterpress font that was truly spectacular. She was also very easy to work with: she created 5 initial concepts from which we could give feedback about the direction we wanted. We ultimately did two revisions plus a few minor tweaks. The final product was stunning, and we got loads of compliments from our invitees about how unique and amazing the invitations were.

  Very knowledgeable, responsive, and friendly

  Lois from DWRI handled all communications with me from my first visit to the shop (which I highly recommend), all the way through to the finished product. She really knew her stuff and was able to help me make wise design decisions that would translate to the best possible results with my budget in mind.

  Warm and professional

  We went to DWRI twice as we had two weddings: one in the US and one in Singapore. We went into our initial contact with an open mind, but it's fair to say that by the time we wrapped the first round of printing, we could not imagine working with anyone else the second time around. Our weddings were very small, intimate events, as a couple from the architecture and textile fields we were very hands-on with the designed elements. Lois and Dan handled our invitations, menus, and coasters, and were warm and professional at the same time. They said "yes" to our requests, got excited with us as we conceptualised our thoughts, and made recommendations based on their printing expertise and our ideas always turned out better for it. A few touches stood out: Lois sat with us as we poured over Pantone decks and paper samples, trying to pin down our colours for inks and papers. She gave us room to discuss colour decisions, then would make specific suggestions about adjusting to the way colours and textures would print, based on her own experience. She also recommended colour-matched paper stock for last-minute digital printing in Singapore, and arranged for us to meet with their paper rep in Providence before we left, even though this was outside of her scope of work. These are the extra touches that will transform any wedding production into a personalised experience. On the pragmatic front, DWRI charges a fair price, even for small quantities, and they often deliver ahead of their stated schedule. They will be our go-to for personal and professional projects for a long time.

  Great team, beautiful product

  I absolutely loved working with Lois and Dan. They created my designs beautifully for our entire wedding invitation suite. I loved them so much that they also did both of my birth announcements. They are my go-to vendor for all my fine letterpress needs.

  I really loved working with Dan. My husband and I wanted to design our own invitations and then fell in love with the costly letterpress invitation. We went to visit Dan in his letterpress studio and he was so much fun to work with. He had so many ideas of what we could do with the different pieces we had brought in. Having looked up letterpress invitation suites through online companies, I found his pricing to be quite reasonable for letterpress invitations done right to our specs. I was very happy with the end result. And they came in earlier than he had said! Part of the appeal of letterpress is the handmade quality of it. They felt handmade and elegant.

  I live in Providence, but my wedding was in Tucson, AZ (where I grew up). Because of this, most of the vendors that I used were local to Tucson. However, I wanted to have my invitations printed closer to home, and I knew that I would be able to find a good letterpress printer in Providence. I chose Dan at DWRI Letterpress because he prints for Tiny Showcase, and I am a fan of their small, high-quality letterpress prints.
  
  My now husband and a good friend of ours designed the invitations and RSVP cards, so they needed some guidance from Dan about what sizes would work and what envelope sizes would be available. This took a lot of back-and-forth, and Dan was always very patient with us. The end result was exactly what we wanted - a beautiful, unique invitation made by a local printer! The printing was done very quickly - quicker than was quoted!
  
  The only nitpick I have is that the green ink on some of the invitations (they are two colors, green and grey) is a bit off-register; however, this occurred on very few of them and is something that is to be expected when dealing with a small company.
