We learned that we had to provide all the glassware for our DIY wedding, which was a logistic that I was stressed out about.
Durants was a great vendor to work with, as they had absolutely everything we needed from rock glasses to highball glasses to tan linen napkins. Our venue was at a barn that also is an operating winery and we loved the water glasses that were shaped as the bottom of wine bottles.
They were very easy to work with and we were able to make changes to our order up to 3 days in advance I believe. They dropped off and picked up on time. I’d definitely recommend them if you find yourselves planning a DIY wedding! -

I used Durants to rent 140 cross-back vineyard chairs. They were very easy to work with, the delivery went smoothly and the chairs looked great. Highly recommend! -

Affordable and Reliable
We only needed chairs for our event, and the quality we got was perfect. When reserving the rental online, I thought I was getting nice, but clearly less expensive, white ceremony chairs for our outdoor ceremony. The ones that arrived were far nicer than I thought they would be and looked great! -

I was looking for tent rentals for my outdoor wedding. I went on a day in which in was raining outside. The team of sales women were very warm and welcoming in spite of the cold weather. The team was very professional and were able to help me manage my 2 year old toddler while I discussed the details of what I wanted for the day. There was no pressure to buy what I didn't need. I was educated on what items were available and what would be the most appropriate for me event. I even had a chance to look at the table lay out. It was easy to talk about how to keep costs within my budget. -

Errin Sent on 06/10/2015Durant’s is amazing - I could always get in touch with them, and they were so patient with me modifying my order at least two or three times! Their supplies are top notch - I felt very comfortable having the older guests at my wedding reception sit on the very sturdy and attractive chairs we rented from them. The delivery was done in a timely way, and they worked w2ith my venue for a convenient pick-up time! I was very proud to have my venue look so great, and that was in large part to the furniture and supplies we rented from Durant’s. Pricing was very reasonable, and the service was great. I couldn’t be happier, and they really made throwing a wedding reception easy!! -

They worked well with my venue to deliver the items the night before, and pick them up the next day. It worked seamlessly. I had no problems whatsoever. I was very happy with the quality of the chairs, and the value. -

It was really simple to work with Durants. After submitting a quote through their website, we received communication quickly and our point person responded to my many questions and emails promptly. They offer a military discount which made their rentals a great value and they work with our reception (The Thayer Hotel) venue frequently so arrangements were seamless! Our reception started in the morning and Durants was happy to have rentals delivered the day prior. My only source of disappointment was in the fact that the images of the colors offered in no way resembled what we got. The only option for yellow was "lemon", which was a rich, deep color on the website. That was the color I was hoping for but was prepared to receive something a bit brighter based on the name. However, the color of the napkins resembled more of a yellow highlighter. Definitely not the end of the world, but I'd recommend ordering a sample or napkin or something to see the color in person first! -

From the actual tent, to the tables, chairs and porta potties (trailers), it all came together beautifully. They were more than willing to meet with us when ever we had questions and made us feel at great ease knowing it was all going to work out. I highly recommend their services. -

They've been responsive to my questions, although I've noticed that the same employee hasn't responded to my emails, so there hasn't been "one" person helping me and that always makes me worry that things may fall through the cracks. But all good news so far! -

Samantha Sent on 10/24/2016Being able to book with durants was very easy! Everyone that helped us with the rentals were great! We only had one small problem with our arbor. It was delivered to us and it looked like it needed a paint job very badly! We had to call the company and have someone take it to paint it so it was ready. When everything was done it looked great. Overall I would use them again even though I had one problem with them. -

We decided to use Durants Rentals, for all of our party supply rentals except the tent & tables. Our bill wasn't excessive but it was a large order for 64-75 people. Our event invoice was noted as a tented wedding and everything up to delivery was perfect. There was one major snag that could have easily been amended. However it was "how" the error was responded to which I find unacceptable. Our order was not completed. We called multiple times to verify the details of our delivery, to which we were told "it is on the truck". If this item had been the cake stand, red-carpet, candlesticks or any detail items that can be added after the fact I would understand. But they failed to send us Dinner Forks. Which is an important item. The day before our event at 3pm I called to complain because we had yet to receive our dinner forks. I was told "your event is tomorrow calm down" They had no sense of urgency, no care that I had spent money to hire staff to set tables and decorate. I asked to speak to a manager and I was told "she's not here and this isn't that urgent, they will get there when they get there." When we finally were able to talk to Barbara she repeated the same tone to my husband, and begrudgingly returned our funds after a difficult argument. We received our dinner forks the night before our wedding at 9pm. Which myself and my husband went outside and finished setting tables because the following day was our wedding. Upon picking up our supplies they did not arrive on Monday but Tuesday night; which would cause the next bride looking for items to be displaced. I am a very reasonable person and not at all emotional during business transactions, but I wouldn't work with this company again, not because they made a mistake. But because it seems to be okay to be rude & continue to make the same mistakes. -

My venue allowed for us to set up the space from 9am-5pm the day before our wedding. Durants was due to drop off the rentals by 12pm this day which was stated in our invoice.
At 11am I contacted the dispatch team and was told the truck was about 10 miles from my location and should be there shortly. At approx 12:45pm I called again and was told the truck driver was unresponsive to their calls and they were unable to reach him. Dee, the women who was working with me was very calm, collected and very understanding of the predicament I was in; I had less than 4 hours to set up 15+ tables, 160 chairs and was paying people to set them up who were on the clock waiting for their delivery (starting at 10am).
About an hour later, Dee contacted me saying the driver was unaware of the drop off time on my invoice, and had picked up another rental and was in the process of dropping it off. I was told it would be somewhere between 2-3 hours until the driver will be at my venue.
After a 5+ hour late drop off, the rentals were FILTHY. Linens which were wrapped, had dirt and stains all over them. The chairs were in the worst conditions possible. I understand normal wear and tear, but there was mud, dirt, spilled food and drinks on the chairs. Each chair had to be wiped down by hand prior to us setting up the space.
Aside from Dee and the delivery drivers, every person I spoke with at Durants was rude, curt, and unprofessional. No lack of empathy for my situation or loss of time and money on this day to set up my wedding.
With the help of my Day of Coordinator, we were able to obtain a full refund for the linens (as it was too late for them to send replacements. I also didn't want to risk the time suck of waiting for "new" with the chance of them being dirty), and a partial refund on the chairs.
Overall, they did their best to make it right, and I did receive nearly 50% of my total bill. However, the amount of stress and frustration this caused me and my husband is enough to say I will never work with, rent from or recommend anyone use this company. -
