Elegant trio for our wedding!

Corey and his team at Duo con Brio were absolutely amazing! Music selection for our wedding ceremony was seamless and stress free thanks to Corey, and the trio was amazing at our cocktail hour as well! They were elegant, professional, and incredibly talented musicians!

Beautiful music!

Duo Con Brio provided the most beautiful string quartet music for our cocktail hour, and it set the perfect tone for the evening. Their performance was elegant, polished, and so full of heart. They created such a welcoming and joyful atmosphere for our guests as they mingled and celebrated.

The music was absolutely stunning, with a perfect mix of classics and contemporary selections that felt timeless yet fresh. Many of our guests went out of their way to tell us how much they enjoyed the quartet and how it elevated the entire experience. Duo Con Brio’s talent and professionalism are unmatched, and I cannot recommend them highly enough for any couple looking to bring that extra touch of elegance and beauty to their wedding.

Excellent Experience!

I had a fantastic experience having two musicians play through Duo con Brio for my small wedding at Oaks Pioneer Church. I had Ashley Peck on cello and James McLennan on violin. Both the professionalism and quality of their playing was exceptional. I would highly recommend working with them.

Excellent Trio for My Son's May Wedding

Due con Brio played at my son's wedding reception in May 2024 that was held at a historic church hall in Woodburn, OR. The reception went on longer than expected. The Trio agreed to stay and play for additional time and was the highlight of the reception. Their music choices, skill and artistry was enjoyed by all. The music was perfect, as my son and his bride did not want dancing, but rather classical music as background to the event. They were superior and I would highly recommend.

Wonderful experience for our wedding!

We hired duo strings. This business is responsive, helpful, and kind. I didn’t need much help/customer service, but all interactions were pleasant. The music sounded lovely at the ceremony. It was everything we wanted. The ceremony would not have been complete without Duo Con Brio.

March wedding

Duo con Brio provided beautiful music for our wedding day. They were easy to work with, very friendly & knowledgeable, & most importantly helped us plan a collaboration of songs perfect for our special day. Our ceremony and reception were incredible thanks to these talented musicians. Outdoor wedding

Corey and his team were excellent. They adapted some of their classical music to more upbeat. They also made musical arrangements for a few specific songs my daughter wanted for her wedding. They really are the best!

Best decision we made

So happy we hired professional musicians from Duo con Brio. One of the best decisions we made. Musicians arrived ahead of schedule and we’re well prepared to perform at our daughter’s wedding. Live musicians added a nice touch to the ceremony.

Absolutely fabulous!!

Duo Con Brio are fantastic!!! Not only was the music beautiful, they are super easy to work with and flexible! They even stayed later than they were booked due to my ceremony starting late. I can’t thank them enough! So so glad I they were a part of my big day!!

Amazing & Extremely Talented!

Corey was great to work with and very responsive. The musicians (violinist and cellist) showed up early and played beautifully for my wedding ceremony. They played a string version of Forever by Chris Brown for my recessional song and it exceeded my expectations!! There’s a reason why this vendor was highly rated and recommended!

Perfection

I had a violinist and cellist and everything was exactly as I had imagined, couldn't have asked for any part of my experience with them to have been better. From the friendly responsiveness via email, to the phone consultation to make sure we were on the exact same page with what I wanted, to the actual day of. The day was a blur to me but I do remember the undercurrent of the musicians playing, and had several guests come tell me they were so friendly and played beautifully.
For the level of service, talent, and professionalism, you can't beat the price. I live out of state so I had to make my decision semi-blindly and can say these guys/gals are the safest bet you can make, you won't be disappointed.

Highly recommend, beautiful music, top notch musicians

They were so perfectly professional - many options to choose from to work with your budget in terms of number of musicians, hours played, types of instruments, and the music they played was such a delightful selection that our guests absolutely loved. My only regret, we didn’t get to enjoy the music because we were taking couples photos! But the wedding ceremony was amazing, and our guests told us about the amazing music selection (we lean nerdy geek and the selection reflected that and was beautiful). Very highly recommend. We started the ceremony late and they were perfectly professional as well.

Beautiful performance and extensive song list for us to choose from!

Duo Con Bio did an amazing job performing at our wedding. They had an extensive song list for us to choose from and they also played a song by special request so that I could walk down the aisle to the song I had been dreaming about, the theme song to Jurassic Park. The pricing was very reasonable and we couldn't be happier with the experience.

Kind, professional, incredible.

I cannot say enough great things about Duo Con Brio. These guys did an incredible job at my wedding and were SO NICE on top of being lovely and professional! One of my bridesmaids was singing as I walked down the aisle and Corey made sure to rehearse with her at the wedding rehearsal AND before the ceremony to make sure everything would be perfect. This was right after his accident so I wasn’t even expecting him to play at our wedding, but he made a point of playing that song himself, which meant the world to me! Everyone who meets Corey will understand what I’m talking about when I say his warmth and down to earth persona are deeply appreciated during the stressful process of wedding planning! Hire Duo Con Brio! You’ll never second guess your decision.

A wonderful addition to our wedding (and a joy to work with!)

The musicians were amazing (learnt the songs requested and played similar songs during the waiting periods) and they were a breeze to work with - speedy responses, excellent value, very approachable... just what you want when sorting out a wedding!

Duo Con Brio is the best!

We hired Duo Con Brio trios for both our daughters' weddings. They played while guests were arriving, for the ceremony and a short time after until the DJ started. They're lovely musicians to work with, and their music is divine. Their music set the tone for the weddings and took them to another level!

They were awesome!

The Duo con Brio was excellent to work with. We hired the string duo for our October 2017 wedding and all of our wedding guests were impressed and so were my husband and I. They sounded amazing and set the mood perfectly. I would highly recommend them for your next event.

Duc con Brio really elevated my ceremony and cocktail hour. It was classy and gave it the little extra it needed to take it over the top!

My husband and I are so happy to have gone with Duo Con Brio for our ceremony music! We went with the duo for our wedding and were able to choose one free song that we'd like them to play that isn't on their original song list. My husband chose Death of a Bachelor by Panic at the Disco. Corey was very responsive to any questions we had and made the process very easy. Would definitely recommend!

We looked at many options for a String Quartet. And found Duo Con Brio through our wedding venue. We were SO pleased at the service they offered and for a great (affordable) fee! Corey met with us and was very helpful in introduction and planning!! He was flexible and understanding to our needs. And listening to them play at the ceremony, we were SO happy we chose them. Duo Con Brio added the most sensational class and atmosphere to our wedding. The chapel was a dream state just as we imagined it! Our guests were impressed and delighted by a string quartet! Book early - well worth it. We were so fortunate to be able to connect direct with our cellist after our agent dropped the ball and never actually booked our wedding. Thankfully our event was on a friday even and they had availability and were very willing to jump in and assist in anyway. We only dictated two songs - one classic and one modern/pop - which they absolutely nailed! Would book them again in a heartbeat!

Of all the additions to our wedding, Don Con Brio was the best! They were so professional, and the music thay played was incredibly beautiful. All of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed it. We had the violinist and chello player. I couldn't have been happier!

Duo Con Brio!!! They are the very, VERY best!!! They were more creative and accommodating than we could have hoped. They arranged, performed, and recorded songs specifically for our wedding at our request and then, AND THEN, they helped me to surprise my wife 10 years later (this August) by reprising the same playlist on our anniversary. Just unbelievable. I will recommend no one else.

I booked Duo Con Brio for my wedding ceremony 2 years in advance of my wedding. It was not necessary to book them so far in advance, but I /knew/ I wanted a string duo for my ceremony. Hiring Duo Con Brio was one of the best decisions I made in relation to my wedding. Sure, it probably would've been cheaper to just have a DJ play instrumental music for my ceremony, but it wouldn't have been as memorable. I have zero regrets hiring DCB! They played so beautifully, and we received so many compliments from our guests. Everyone LOVED our ceremony music! My brother even said he thought the string duo was a very personal touch; it related to my husband's and I's family because we all played instruments in band. DCB was beyond perfect! I'm so glad I hired them for our ceremony!!! Hearing them play our processional/recessional music (and what little I was able to hear pre-ceremony) was a part of some of my favorite moments of that entire wonderful, moments-filled day! I only regret I was unable to hear most of the pre-ceremony music, because I was hidden away. Fun tip: make sure you have someone record Duo Con Brio playing- you'll want to hear how beautiful their music is for yourself.
Seriously, if you're looking for live instrumental music, hire Duo Con Brio. They are amazing!!!

We hired Cory's team with Duo Con Brio to perform at our wedding and they did a fantastic job. We emailed back and forth a few times with Cory's team and they were happy to learn some songs outside of their current repertoire for a nominal fee. I really like how you can listed to their arrangements on the website and it's helpful when determining whether you need a duo, trio, etc. (we opted for a trio).

Their timing was spot-on and they had no issues getting set up and playing at our completely outdoor venue. We also had a special request of the groom's brother playing along with them for an arrangement during the ceremony, which was really special. Overall, we would definitely recommend; they are affordable and just add a great addition to your special event!

Love this group! We hired them for our wedding and they were awesome! We used the trio set of the violin, viola and cello. They played contemporary string music including Sweet Child of Mine, Endless Love, Unchained Melody and lots of others for our wedding, but they do the classical stuff too. Highly recommend them for your event!

Duo Con Brio - top notch! We had small wedding at the top of Wahclella Falls outside of Cascade Locks. Park rules do not allow amplified music. My bride conceded to the fact we would not have music during our ceremony. I wanted her to have a song to walk down the aisle too; live performers with string instruments would work. I contacted Corey Avrill at Duo Con Brio to surprise her with her song. WOW! Awesome. He responded to me promptly on every request. He called me to discuss details and setting up the contract was a breeze. A few weeks before the big day, I had some significant last minute changes in both schedule and logistics. He worked hard to accommodate these sending Jane Day and Cami Wilson Scott, two performers from Duo Con Brio. They endured the mile hike up to the waterfall with smiles. They have radiant personalities and just felt like part of the family. They made sure to arrive early to keep the music a surprise. When my bride finally arrived, we turned the corner towards the waterfall with Duo Con Brio playing the song she wanted to walk down the aisle to. These are such magnificent people: Corey, Jane, and Cami. They can play a mix of classical and contemporary. It made our day that much more memorable.

We wanted a special song performed during our communion time, and Duo con Brio was happy to work with us and arrange it. Both musicians came to the rehearsal to play
live, which was wonderful! The cello and violin sounded lovely together, especially during the prelude music, and there was very little direction needed. I felt blessed to have such professional, friendly musicians play at our wedding.

We were introduced to Duo Con Brio at a preview event at the venue where our daughter's wedding would take place. The violin and cello combo was just what we wanted to add a lovely ambiance to the time prior to and immediately following the ceremony.
Corey Averill was very nice to deal with...professional, responsive and willing and able to entertain my daughter's request for a processional piece that wasn't on Duo Con Brio's extensive "play list." The outcome was so nice. Even our guest who is 1st violinist with a local symphony gave them a "thumbs up."

My husband & I hired Duo Con Brio to perform at our wedding at Timberline Lodge, and we could not be more happy with our decision. Corey and his fellow musician were WONDERFUL. The music they provided was just excellent, and Corey was fabulous to work with - even as I threw unexpected musical selections at him, he rolled with every bridal whim I had!

Plus, Corey and his musicians were professionally dressed, arrived on time, and were a seamless part of the wedding day. I only wish I'd been able to hear more of their fabulous music throughout the day!!!

The gentlemen that showed up were fantastic - the music was wonderful and appropriate. Honestly though as the groom there was so much going on that I wasn't too focused on them :) I asked my friends though and they loved them.

My husband and I hired Duo Con Brio to play our wedding ceremony. We decided on the string duo. They were fabulous. The music was just as beautiful as on their demos available on their website. We had picked music that was a little different than traditional wedding music and it was exactly what I had hoped. We loved Duo con Brio. Meeting with Corey to pick out music for our wedding ceremony and reception was a complete joy. We wished we could have sat talking music all night! The atmosphere they created at our wedding was classy, elegant and appreciated by all. They were completely professional and self sufficient on the day of our wedding, so we could truly enjoy the day and the music.

We were very pleased with the live music performance of Duo Con Brio at our wedding ceremony. It made the event more intimate and elegant. I was unsure what music to choose for the aisle walk and Corey did a wonderful job of selecting music that fit my needs. Hands down they were one of the best ways we spent our wedding budget and I highly recommend their services!

Having Duo Con Brio at our wedding was the ideal way to top off a fun, classy, and enjoyable day... They were friendly, responsive, flexible, and the music was better than we imagined. Corey and his group played our Wedding on July 1st of 2013 and they were fantastic. They traveled to our venue which was in Hood River with no problem, set up and playing well before we were ready to walk down the aisle. They took our music requests and accommodated them spectacularly. Corey was very prompt and courteous on the phone and gave us his feedback after we told him the musical tone we were going for. I live in DC and was planning the wedding from here and Corey played the music for me over the phone so I could hear it prior to the wedding. He was so easy to work with. Corey is responsive,reliable, professional, and very talented. I cannot thank him and Janet enough for making my wedding day so special. I would recommend Corey and his team to any bride that is looking for ceremony musicians.

Phenomenal group and quartet. Very professional to work with. I am an accomplished pianist and cellist, and their tempo, musicality, intonation, and phrasing of all of their pieces were spot on. I would definitely recommend this quartet to anyone.

The music was beautiful, hearing Fur Elise on the cello and violin as the mothers walked up was so touching. We are so thankful that you were also willing to accompany our guitarist for the hymn even without practice.
