Fantastic coordinator

Lynn was professional, responsive, organized, and knowledgeable -- attributes that I would have hoped for and expected in a good wedding coordinator. But she also made several very astute suggestions that made a real difference in the day, and came to the rescue when things went awry. Her skills even extended to repairing a broken shoe with dental floss! She handled everything with poise, kept the event running smoothly without being overbearing, and was a reassuring presence throughout. I would hire her again in a heartbeat.

Lynn was an absolute dream to work with!

Lynn was an angel sent from above to work with us on our wedding day, and I can't recommend her enough! My husband and I were a COVID couple, and had to postpone our wedding a few times. We ended up having our wedding on the Monterey coast, and planned it in 2 1/2 months and Lynn helped us every step of the way. She was extremely organized, patient, and made us feel taken care of the whole process. On our wedding day, she was that extra support that we needed and couldn't have done without. She was cool, calm and collected which in turn made me feel like I could totally sit back and enjoy the day. I didn't have to worry about ONE thing since I knew Lynn had everything under control.
Prior to the wedding, we did a walk through of the venue and went over all the details in person which was SO helpful. There's so much that goes on behind the scenes of planning a wedding that I had no idea about, and Lynn was a seasoned pro that I was able to fully trust.
So many of our family and guests came up to me and said how great of a job Lynn did and I enthusiastically said "oh my goodness I know! Thank God Lynn was with us through this process and on our wedding day!". She got SO many compliments!! It was such an honor and a blessing that we had Lynn as our coordinator.

Wonderful Experience

I had the most wonderful experience working with Lynn at Duke & Pearl for day-of-coordinating for my wedding in Carmel Valley (Holman Ranch). Everything went very smoothly and successfully. Lynn is very professional and experienced, and she went out of her way to even buy us an extra table linen and candles when she sensed we were missing them last-minute. She and her assistant were on top of everything and were essential in executing our wedding day. I didn't have to do any work day-of! I would not hesitate to work with Lynn and Duke & Pearl, and I highly recommend her and her team! No need to think twice or look for other coordinators! Her service as also affordable and good value, and she was happy to help to achieve a successful event, even beyond traditional coordinator activities.

Best decision we made!

Though our initial plan was to coordinate our wedding ourselves, we were encouraged by our other vendors to hire a coordinator and we are so glad we listened! Lynn was amazing. She relieved us of so much - not only the day of the wedding, but also the weeks leading up to the event. Her attention to the little details and invaluable input made the day perfect and exactly how we envisioned it.

Everything was made so easy which allowed us (and our family and friends) to completely enjoy the day. In fact, many of our guests commented on how relaxed we appeared during the entire weekend....hiring Lynn was the best decision we made during our entire wedding!

Planning Perfection

I used Lynn and her team as my Day-Of Coordinators, and couldn't have asked for a smoother wedding! Everything was so well planned that we found ourselves having extra time to take photos and grab a cocktail with friends and family after the ceremony. The whole day was thought out, well planned, and beautifully executed. I had a lot of complicated family dynamics to sort out, and I appreciated it when Lynn reminded me of what to focus on so that I fully enjoyed my day. I couldn't recommend Duke and Pearl highly enough - they are fabulous!

Absolute perfection and professionalism. Lynn and her team gave us the wedding we had not even dreamed was possible.

From first to last meeting and since our event, Lynn was a joy to work with. We are so incredibly grateful to have had her calming presence & creative, flexible skills on a day that could have been stressful. She was three steps ahead of everything on our big day & we sailed along behind her having the time of our lives. It sounds almost too good to be true, but Lynn honestly felt like the fairy godmother of our wedding! Right down to "bibbitty bobbity booing" a bustle for my wedding dress at the last moment!

Lynn and her crew are amazing!

Thanks to Lynn and her crew for making my wedding go so smooth and making my wedding vision come to live. During planning Lynn asked a lot of good questions to make sure that she fully understands the vision of the wedding. She kept in touch with all the vendors before the wedding to keep track of the timeline. She also was super helpful during the rehearsal walking us and the wedding party through the ceremony. She is very patient, didn't mind having to repeat few rounds of rehearsal, and made sure everyone gets it. On the wedding day, Lynn and her crew arrived early to help set up and Lynn was the last person to leave the venue. She helped us packing all the decor and leftover drinks back to our car. She was very organized and clean. I don't think I could have gone over the wedding without her! I would recommend her to anyone!

Lynn is the ultimate wedding consultant! There are not enough words to express how completely happy and thrilled we were with her planning, organization and communication skills, just for starters. We weren't convinced we needed a wedding consultant until about 2 months before the date. We finally realized the wedding weekend could be pretty stressful if the wedding couple and families were responsible for managing the details, not to mention dealing with any surprises. We found Lynn and fortunately, she was available. Lynn immediately put everyone at ease with her warm and professional personality. She knew all the right questions to ask and issues to raise, listened carefully, and had good options/solutions as needed. We were so pleased with her ability to understand the big picture and flow of the wedding day as well as tease out all the many details, without overwhelming us. Lynn worked very well communicating and coordinating with the various vendors, the venue staff. Again, she asked all sorts of questions we would not have thought of: e.g., what is the maximum decibel reading allowed by the venue (for the DJ), she provided the exact sunset time for the photographer, so she could decide when to plan for low light photos. She even brought the Marriage License and made sure it was properly completed following the ceremony. Lynn also attended the ceremony rehearsal the day before, and deftly guided everyone through the process and the flow. We really appreciated (and needed) her guidance! In summary, our daughter's wedding and reception flowed beautifully, and our families were able to fully enjoy the day and evening, knowing Lynn and her able assistants had everything flawless covered! Would choose her again in a heartbeat.

Lynn was an absolute pleasure to work with both before the wedding and during! The day before and morning of she coordinated all of our vendors, rentals, and deliveries! When we were missing 500 lbs of ice from our delivery, she handled it. I didn't have to think about a thing that day besides having a complete blast with my friends and family! We used Lynn for Day of event coordination for our wedding. We couldn't be happier with her services! She was super organized and calm throughout. We had a somewhat complicated wedding - multiple ceremonies with dress changes, multiple cocktail breaks, and even when we were running a bit ahead of schedule, and the caterer wasn't ready, Lynn had a back-up plan and executed it perfectly. We're fairly organized ourselves as a couple and it was incredible for us to see someone who had spent time to understand all of our little details and internalize our plan so well. All of our guests left with a smile on their face. Thank you Lynn!

My only regret is that I did not hire her before I had picked some of my other vendors. Our venue and some of our vendors were challenging but Lynn handled everything with grace and professionalism. I am from the east coast so we really relied on her expertise and an expert she is! Lynn and her assistants saw to every detail of my daughter's wedding. I was able to totally relax and enjoy the day because I knew she would make everything perfect. This should be your first hire if you are planning a wedding in the Monterey Bay area!

I couldn't imagine our July 1, 2017 wedding without Lynn and her team! She worked diligently and quickly to respond to my emails regarding simple and more complex requests. She worked professionally by communicating with all my vendors to ensure everything would run smoothly the day of and that all my vendors were on the same page. Lynn met with me at 8 PM the night before my wedding to help me set up the banquet room with decorations. She was the first one there and the last one to leave on my wedding day. On the day of she was constantly communicating with vendors to ensure that everything was going according to the timeline or checking in with me to see how I wanted to approach the next event (dinner, first dance, bouquet toss, etc. ) She also made sure that we had food and drinks in our hand as soon as we arrived at our venue from our ceremony. She helped us break down and pack up our cars with our gifts/cards and decorations. During the planning process, she worked with me to brainstorm a room arrangement. She also helped me create and implement a logistical vision for how all of my decorations and activities would work for our space. I was a very DIY bride meaning that I was ready to do a lot of the work myself, pre-wedding and day of. However, after meeting with Lynn, I learned that there are many elements that contribute to a successful and enjoyable wedding that I could not have planned or been in control of myself the day of. There are so many things that you don't think of because you're either not in the wedding business or you consumed with many other tasks. She made multiple drafts of my "day of" timeline in the most organized spreadsheets I've ever seen. I HIGHLY recommend Duke and Pearl. Lynn is a true professional with a great work ethic. In addition, she is thoughtful, kind and generous with her time. We truly appreciate everything that they did to make our wedding day come together. It's worth every penny.

Lynn was the best!! Her preparation before the wedding was SO helpful. She coordinated with all of the vendors and created a fully comprehensive schedule of the day that included all of the vendors duties. The schedule was sent out to everybody and it definitely helped things run more smoothly the day of.
Of course no wedding would be complete without some kind of problem, so when the service staff that we hired turned out to be a major disappointment and failed in almost all of their duties Lynn and her assistant stepped up in a major way to keep things rolling. None of this came to my wife and I's attention until a few days later so the wedding night felt problem free.
Lynn also went above and beyond after the wedding when it came time to get reimbursed by the staffing company. She made sure that there were pictures of the the mess that the staff left, joined us on the call with the staff company and made sure that the owner of the company understood just how unhappy we were with their people. Everything ended positively because after it was all said and done the staffing company gave us a major refund and it was mostly with the help from Lynn.

Duke and Pearl (Lynn) was so wonderful to work with. Though she has done a ton of weddings, when you are working with her, you feel like the "only one." The dreams you have, will come true with Duke and Pearl. I was so worried about all the tiny details of the wedding day, but as I continued to work with Lynn, I knew I could leave them to her and she would remember and make it happen! Not only was Lynn super profession, she felt like your friend too, cheering you on for your big day! She knows all the right questions to ask, has great organization skills, and is so personable. Lynn came highly recommended by an "ultra-high-end" wedding planner as somebody who had once worked for her (that she wanted back badly!) and who would perform an "ultra-high-end" job, (at a more reasonable price) because Lynn preferred helping with still beautiful -- but more personal and "regular, " -- weddings rather than the "ultra-high-end" type. This was completely true. We felt fully supported throughout the process and knew we had somebody who would be able to totally handle anything that came up unexpectedly on the wedding day. She has great taste, will totally try to accomodate your desires rather than try to make things easier for herself, and will just generally make the whole event a whole lot less stressful. If you can get her, you will not be disappointed.

Working with Lynn for our wedding day was the best decision we made in the planning process! From her experience and expertise, she was on top of everything. Lynn is incredibly organized, professional, sociable, and easy to work with. Our wedding took place at Rancho Don Bosco, and from the beginning, she had great advice for placement and flow of the day. She has experience working at many local venues and her knowledge of the area was extremely helpful. On rehearsal day, Lynn saved the day when our officiant was unable to attend. She took control and led the entire rehearsal with professionalism and leadership. On the day of the wedding, she let us know what was happening next on our planned agenda, and we never felt rushed or pushed. We highly recommend working with Lynn for your special day! Lynn was the day-of coordinator for my wedding and it was such a pleasure to work with her. She hit the nail on the head with the things I asked for and, where I didn't give her much direction, she found creative and cohesive solutions. When people were unexpectedly unable to come to our rehearsal, Lynn handled it wonderfully and, the following day, updated everyone who wasn't able to make it. She thought of everything! I remember when I was looking for a day-of wedding coordinator, I would read things like, “Our day wouldn’t have happened without [name]!” and I would think, “Well, that’s a bit silly. I’m a responsible, organized person, and I can make a wedding happen by myself.” BOY was I wrong! Although we still would have been married at the end of the day, there is NO WAY our wedding would have been as smooth or enjoyable without Lynn from Duke and Pearl. She 100% took the stress off the shoulders of me and my family. I had so much peace knowing that it wouldn’t be my guests (including my family) running around, trying to track down the photographer or make sure the DJ was ready for the first dance. Everything was in a professional’s hands. Lynn was a wizard behind the scenes! We had an outdoor wedding in winter (risky!) and ended up needing to use our backup location across the street due to weather. Lynn was amazing at knowing exactly how both Plan A and Plan B should go, and orchestrated the day perfectly. She asked me questions I hadn’t even thought to think about, and there were some problems I didn’t even find out about ‘till after the honeymoon because they were handled smoothly and quietly. From our very first phone call with her to when we got a card from her in the mail after the wedding, we couldn’t have been more impressed with Lynn. She was one of the best choices we made regarding our wedding day, and I can’t recommend her highly enough.

Lynn helped coordinate our wedding back in July and we honestly can't say enough wonderful things about her and her team! She was extremely responsive whenever we needed her, was understanding of little glitches along the way - had FANTASTIC ideas about making things run more smoothly - but probably most importantly of all kept me completely calm and happy on the day of. She even dealt with our rather "rowdy and colorful" wedding party during the rehearsal with complete grace! Lynn is such an amazingly efficient and kind coordinator! She was very calm and easy to work with, but also kept everything on track -- from pre-wedding, through day-of. I recommend Lynn to anyone looking for a coordinator ... she is truly fantastic!

I loved working with Lynn. She was very flexible and helpful when we needed to make some adjustments with our wedding and the coordination. She was very responsive and really worked hard to my our wedding day run smoothly. Additionally, she takes her work very seriously and it made me know that she truly cared about our special day. Lynn was an incredible wedding planner for my wedding on 6/20/15. I honestly don't know how we could have pulled off our wedding without her help. We hired her for day-of service, but she helped so much even before the wedding. She had all the advice and planning tools we never know we needed, but which ended up being invaluable. She helped us find vendors and additional staff, she ran our rehearsal, she worked with my numerous vendors, she kept my rowdy bridesmaids in line, and she was there with her assistant for 12 hours on the day of my wedding. I was not aware of any problems on the day of my wedding and lots of complicated multi-stage set up and clean up was preformed flawlessly and discretely. I can't recommend her enough.

We were referred to Lynn Myers-Galster at Duke and Pearl Weddings & Celebrations fairly late in the planning process for our daughter's wedding once we learned that our venue required day-of-wedding coordination. Although Lynn had been booked for another wedding the day before, she graciously agreed to take us on. We are still grateful for her willingness to serve in this capacity because it made all the difference, both in terms of the quality of the event and our ability to enjoy all of the wonderful moments associated with it.

Lynn's approach is calm, focused and incredibly professional. She raised questions and provided solutions in a constructive, appropriate way, which gave us all much-needed confidence and peace of mind as we approached the wedding day. Lynn organized her schedule to accommodate our rehearsal needs, providing outstanding assistance to our officiant, the bride and groom and our music provider. She worked efficiently and effectively with all of the purveyors we had secured before she came on board, establishing new relationships and maintaining existing ones to ensure that every vendor provided service at the highest possible level.

Lynn was very helpful and she became a great friend easily. She was super easy to get a long with and it made planning so much easier and more fun. She has planned many weddings for other couples, so she had insight to just about any questions we could have planning our first wedding. She went to many meetings with us to make sure my insane amount of details would turn out on my wedding day and worked so well with all of our vendors. She even helped "exercise" our butterfly's for the big release during the ceremony. (Everyone of them flew out of the boxes!!) Lynn can do it all!! She gives away a lot of her time and you can truly see her passion for her business. It's a rare thing to find anymore. I wouldn't have wanted to work with anyone else, she was the most valuable person we hired for our wedding, every penny was worth it!

Lynn did a wonderful job as our day-of wedding coordinator, and also helped with the planning. It quickly became obvious that we couldn't have done without her. She met with us several times before the wedding and gave us many valuable tips and ideas. she was sensitive to the style of wedding we wanted and gave us confidence to go ahead with our plans. She helped us solve many daunting problems including finding extra help that we needed. On the day of the wedding she was very professional and attentive to the hundreds of details involved in a wedding, from set-up to clean up. She worked well with all the various personalities present from vendors to guests. The wedding was just beautiful and flowed wonderfully without a hitch and having Lynn there made it so that we could relax and enjoy the wedding without have to worry about anything! Lynn from Duke and Pearl was simply fantastic with us and our wedding date. She addressed all of our concerns right from our first conversation. Lynn made several very helpful suggestions for different local vendors that we ended up using, she was very detail-oriented (which made us very comfortable), and she really worked in a very gentle manner to keep our wedding event progressing appropriately. We felt very "taken care of", and as a result we have vivid memories of the evening. We were really able to enjoy ourselves. We had the time to visit with most everyone. We did not have to watch the clock, worry about scheduling, or worry about our personal belongings. All was taken care of by Lynn and her assistant, Kristen. She even made sure we had the opportunity to taste all our appetizers -- by preparing a special plate -- while we were signing the marriage certificate and taking family photographs.
We would absolutely use her again in the future for any event planning services.
We are very grateful for her attention to detail with us and our special event.

Lynn and the team of Duke and Pearl Weddings we're an invaluable part of our big day! They jumped on board with our vision and provided the experienced support needed for us to let loose and enjoy ourselves.
Every detail was taken care of so that we didn't have to worry. There is no way my husband, myself or our parents could have enjoyed the day as much as we did without the expertise of Duke and Pearl.
Planning a wedding is an exciting, but stressful thing. Duke and Pearl took all the stress and anxiety out of the equation and we could not be happier with their services.

Lynn was our wedding coordinator and she was phenomenal! We knew that we needed a coordinator for the day of so we could actually enjoy the day that we worked so hard to plan. From our initial meeting with her, she was professional, kind and easy to work with. At our venue walk-through, she was so organized and pointed things out that we hadn’t thought about. It was so helpful that she managed our vendors and she also created an extremely detailed timeline with reminders of things to do and think about so she knew exactly how we wanted our vision to unfold. Her calm demeanor makes you feel comfortable and her expertise makes you feel confident in her execution. The day of the wedding was extremely smooth and we were all able to enjoy ourselves without having to worry about anything. We highly recommend Lynn!

Lynn at Duke & Pearl was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. Our friends and family couldn't believe how on top of it she was! From coordinating with all of our vendors and their setup to making sure our families and wedding party were in line, she had everything under control. She even made sure my lipstick and comfy shoes were at my seat for dinner. Not only was she professional and detail-oriented, she made us all feel at ease. Considering it was our wedding day, we were pretty relaxed and able to enjoy so many great moments. I highly recommend Lynn to anyone who is looking for a wedding coordinator for their big day!

Lynn, with Duke and Pearl is organized, thorough, thoughtful and a personal event coordinator. I have worked in the Wedding business for 5 years and as a bride she blew me away. The best part about working with Lynn, was that I didn't even have to lift a finger on my wedding day. She was there every step of the way to answer questions and take care of all the fine details. I was planning our wedding long distance and I couldn't have done it without Lynn. From the signage, guest amenities, table settings, decor, vendor management and so much more, (details I never would have thought of!) Lynn made it all so effortless. Lynn planed for me the most beautiful baby shower. The invitations, food, decorations and every little detail was perfect. She went out of her way to have everything I like (including my cravings) to make my day a memorable one. And she did an incredible job! Lynn's sweet personality, creativity, organization and experience are amazing, not only for weddings but for other events too. I would recommend her in a heartbeat!! Who says that D&P only does weddings? Lynn's talents are multi-faceted and go beyond the wedding reception hall, and I was one of the lucky gals to see it first-hand. Lynn planned and executed a fantastic farewell party for me. From the invites, to the decor, to the food, Lynn had every detail covered. And beautifully. It was an intimate affair and that didn't stop Lynn from making every detail pop and be memorable. Her personality and experience make you feel that there is nothing to worry about, she will take care of it all. And she does.

Duke and Pearl provided us with the highest standards of excellence and professionalism for our daughter's wedding. Every detail was pre-planned and carried through without a glitch. Lynn worked well with our site venue and vendors and kept everything in sync. In addition, she was there as a rock for the bride and groom and their families to cover every little detail. We felt so comfortable and confident with her and blended in perfectly as an extension of our family. As our wedding site included a
on location bed and breakfast facility, Lynn's final touches to the bride and grooms suite was extra special with flowers, food, drink and a lovely, cozy return for the newlyweds! We can't say enough good about Duke and Pearl and on a scale of 1-5, we'd give her a 10!!!

Both Lynn and her assistant Piper were incredibly helpful during our wedding day. I had barely slept the night before and was quite nervous and stressed that everything wouldn't come together as it should. But when I saw how on top of it Lynn was, my worries quickly dissipated. She was so prepared with everything from hairpins and deodorant to bandaids and gum. We had plotted out a thorough timeline and though we tried to stick to it, we never felt rushed or pressured to adhere to the minute by minute layout.
By the end of the day I was completely worn out and exhausted, but more important, I realized that the entire day had been more perfect than I ever could have imagined. Every little facet that we (my wife) had planned was executed flawlessly and exceeded the standard I had set in mind. Because of Lynn, all the vendors performed their tasks on time and we were never bothered with any of the details, leaving us to enjoy what became the best day of our lives.

Lynn did an amazing job helping us coordinate our wedding. We utilized her day of services and coordination but she was always there for us to answer questions through the planning phase. On the day of our wedding Lynn was there early and was busy coordinating the venue but not too busy to check on both myself and my groom to make sure that everything was going okay. She kept the day flowing wonderfully! Lynn was warm with our family and guests, calm in nature and very professional. Her assistant, Piper was also a joy to have there. Throughout the whole day there were special touches that only Duke and Pearl could've thought of. It was truly a pleasure to work with Lynn and we can't wait to recommend her services!!

Lynn was such a smart person to add to our wedding team. She took charge (as a control freak I was worried a planner wouldn't be "aggressive" enough for me) from the very beginning. She made sure our day was as smooth as possible and took time to check in with us throughout the night. She was very personable and outgoing with our guests and vendors as well! Fantastic Coordinator

We loved working with Lynn! We only hired her for day-of services, but she was there for us the whole way answering our questions and offering advice on everything from rehearsal dinner venues to bakeries and more. On our wedding day Lynn made everything absolutely seamless. I don't event know how it was all done but she managed to take off all stress from me and my husband as she took our centerpieces and other decorations and got everything set up perfectly. At the end of the night we got back to our room to find all of our personal belongings back in place after tear-down and we didn't have to lift a finger or worry about any of that since Lynn had taken care of it. It was really like magic. I would absolutely recommend Lynn to anyone looking for that perfect wedding coordinator.
