Best DJ Ever!

Jared was the best! He’s so professional and easy to work with. He knew exactly how to keep everyone dancing all night and made the whole day run perfectly smooth. Can’t say enough wonderful things about him! Thank you Jared!

Superb quality and Fun atmosphere

Duff DJ Company provided incredible services for a fair price. Jared helped make our wedding so fun and memorable. My guests thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment provided by Jared throughout the whole night. He really knows how to read the room and provide the best experience throughout the entire reception! I would totally recommend for any event!

This guy knows how to start a party

Wow, we are still hearing from our guests about our reception! Guests of all ages have specified what an amazing DJ we had at our wedding. Jared Duff is an entertainer who can read people's vibes, he knows his music, and he is a wonderful singer! What an added bonus. Our guests could not stop dancing, and I myself never left the dance floor. We cannot thank our DJ enough for giving us beautiful memories, a good time, and the party of our lifetime!

He made our day perfect!

Jared was lively, easy going, and great at making last minute changes to help our special day go smoothly. I met with him morning of to smooth over the details and he was willing and able to do whatever was needed to make the day perfect! Thank you so much!

Highly recommend!!

Jared was wonderful to work with! The website was easy to use and allowed us to share what music we wanted played so Jared could get a sense of our style and what we were looking for. He checked in with us several times during the reception, got us drinks and anything else we needed. We asked him to offer a blessing for our meal and he did a beautiful job. The music he played was clean, fun and dance worthy! Our dance floor was full from the moment it opened to the end of the night! Best DJ we could have had for our wedding day!

He magically appeared at key moments

What a Godsend to have him at my wedding!
- The music was fun
- The dancing was great
- He is so fun and easy to work with (no ego like some of the Boston DJs)
- He never drew attention to himself. His philosophy is that the wedding should be about the bride, not promoting himself as a DJ (also unlike some of the Boston DJs)
- I wanted a pianist for cocktail hour. I told him what type of music I wanted from the pianist. I was able to delegate this piece of wedding planning to him. He found a pianist who was exactly what I wanted – I love that I didn’t have to micromanage 
- At a few key moments, he magically appeared at my side and asked if I knew what I was supposed to do next as the bride – A. mazing.
- I recommend him to all my friends!

....and we danced the night away

I've been to quite a few weddings that Jared has been the DJ for, and I knew that we just had to have him for ours! He did not disappointed. The music and lighting was fantastic, and the dance floor was packed for 4 HOURS STRAIGHT! I only hope to attend more weddings that he does in the future because they are that much fun.

If I could rate this more I would do a gold star with a million in rates! There is not enough words I can fit here to describe how wonderful Jared is. He is flexible, fun, accommodating and a great singer! From the first time I emailed him to meeting him a few days before our wedding he made us feel relaxed and we totally trusted him! The day of the wedding was amazing - I have gotten a million compliments on how classic my music was as well as how impressed they were with Jared and his voice! Jared sang our first song - Perfect by Ed Sheeran and he sang it even better than the original:) he got my husband out on the dance floor and we had the time of our lives. Everyone do yourself a favor and get DJ Jared duff. You will be so impressed and won’t stop talking about how wonderful he made your wedding ????????????

Absolutely AMAZING. Jared- hands down is the best wedding DJ. He’s been a DJ say multiple weddings I’ve been to and he never has disappointed. On top of that, he can SING. And he’s AMAZING. He he energetic, so kind, and very talented. We didn’t want the music to stop at the end of the night. Any future parties, we will 100% hire Duff DJ company. If I could relive my wedding reception, I would. Jared made the whole experience incredible!

Jared was so great to work with for planning our wedding! His fun-loving and easy-going attitude made everything so easy to coordinate. The online system that he uses to track which songs to play choosing songs and communicating those details so easy. We had such a great time! He played a variety of music which kept people on the dance floor the entire night!

Jared and Kyle were amazing! Jared was extremely helpful through the whole planning process and made sure everything ran smoothly on our big day! He was even serving us drinks while we were having our pictures done! They played the guitar and sang during our ceremony and cocktail hour and everyone raved about their performance. Jared even sang the song for our first dance which was an amazing surprise! We'd highly recomend his service, you certainly won't be disappointed.

Jared was amazing! He made sure everything went smoothly and we weren't stressed at all! As soon as we met him we knew he got our vision. It hasn't even been a week since our wedding and we have gotten so many compliments on him! It made it so special that he sang while I walked down the isle. It's amazing to have a dj and preformer all in one! I'd absolutely recommend him especially if you want your guests up and dancing!

Jared was a fantastic partner to work with and my wife and I were so pleased to have him DJ and MC our wedding. Some additional comments on the above criteria:

Quality of Service: the music quality and selection were superb. Jared has a great feel for the crowd/room and adapts the playlist accordingly. We also had Jared set up/organize sound for our outdoor ceremony; sound was crystal clear.

Responsiveness: would always respond to calls and emails within a day, and was particularly responsive in the final weeks leading up to the big day.

Professionalism: really easygoing and was most importantly prepared and punctual for the event. We had no concerns had all throughout the process.

Value: fantastic, worthwhile investment. My wife and I were hesitant about DJ costs on our wedding budget. In retrospect, we're very glad we went with Jared.

Flexibility: from accommodating all song requests on the day to last-minute sound mixing requested on the day before the wedding, Jared handled all asks superbly.

I couldn't be anymore pleased with Jared! The dance floor was hardly ever empty and he had an amazing selection, if he didn't have it he made sure to try and get it. Highly recommended!

We love Jared from Duff DJ Company! We knew pretty early on in our wedding planning that we wanted to hire Jared - he is someone my sister had considered for her wedding and we liked everything we saw on his website before meeting him at the Bridal Expo. Upon meeting him, we really knew he was the DJ for us :) We felt immediately comfortable with him and had fun joking and chatting about the details of our day. Soon after the Expo we met to go over logistics further and to hire him. When meeting, he eased our stress and anxiety when we told him we were expecting a 12 hour day with almost 450 guests and he was extremely happy and willing to work with us. Throughout the whole planning process, Jared listened to our needs and wants and truly was great to work with. Our guests were on the dance floor all night and I even had guests tell us this was the most they had danced at a wedding in a long time and that is the BEST thing to hear! Also, if you can fit it in your budget, you HAVE to have Jared perform live. This is something that we will never forget about our wedding day - his voice is amazing - the kind of voice that brings chills and tears! Many times we did not even know he was singing because he sounded so much like the original artist in the song. We also added Jared's photo booth to our overall package and that was a hit, as well! We cannot say enough good things about Jared - he truly feels like an old friend! Do not hesitate to contact and hire Jared!

Jared is nothing short of phenomenal. He collaborates with couples before the wedding to construct the perfect music list and he is upbeat and gets the crowd moving. Jared is also extremely helpful during the ceremony and does his best to keep his couples stress free by prompting them throughout the ceremony. We highly recommend him!

DJ Jared did an amazing job at our wedding! Seriously, though.

First off, his online planning site was easy to use. My husband and I were able to go on weeks in advance and put in a list of songs we really wanted to be played at the reception. Even better: he actually played those songs! He stuck to the list, while still feeling out the crowd so well. If a song wasn't going over so well, he would smoothly transition to the next song. When he ran out of our list, it was clear he still had a good idea of what we liked and what our crowd would like and kept the dancers dancing! :) Also, he does a good job keeping the order of events flowing without putting on a huge show and being overbearing. He kept it so fun while still being classy versus karaoke-like.

In short: I highly recommend him for any wedding / event.

We first saw Jared DJ at a friend's wedding and we had such a good time at that wedding we booked him well ahead of time. He met with us, got to know our tastes, took notes, and showed us how to work the playlist website. About a month before the wedding, we met again with Jared to go over our playlist selections, and he counselled us through our vision of the reception, and what he would do to make it run smoothly. He was positive, cheerful, and very helpful, even when we made some pretty odd requests for intros and special dance songs. (What DJ hears, "We want to use a ballad bluegrass cover of a Huey Lewis and the News song as our first dance and have an entire block of ‘90s pop!" and says unconditionally, "Okay, great, let's do it!" A great DJ, that's who.)

On the day of our wedding, Jared did all of the behind-the-scenes things and took care of details so we didn’t have to worry. He showed up on time, dressed sharply, went over all the details with us, and he even whipped out some band-aids and talcum powder to get me through the night after my heels gave me awful blisters. During the reception he ran everything smoothly and had an intuitive sense of what to play to draw people to the dance floor and keep them there the whole night – everyone had an awesome time due in large part to the music. But the real kicker was when Jared volunteered to use his truck and trailer to help us move our table decorations and gifts (which we had greatly underestimated the bulk of) from the reception hall to the hotel across the street. Really above and beyond.

Jared was such a wonderful choice for our DJ at our wedding. He met with is to help pick out songs and he helped us pick songs very easily based on the kind of music we like and he made that process quick and easy! The moments where we couldn't pick a song and left it to him he filled those spots in with perfect choices. He was such an engaging, outgoing and friendly entity at our wedding and I couldn't have asked for a better DJ experience! I would recommend him to anyone!

When we first met Jared, he was very professional and personable. He is very knowledgeable and loves his job. One of the things he said that stuck with us was (give me all the pressure). He knows how stressful the big day is and wants to help take some stress off of you. The DJ makes or breaks the wedding. He not only was great at entertaining but he read the crowd perfect and hit all the genres to keep the dance floor packed all night. We would and have recommended him to other couples. Jared was easy to get a hold of, he walks you through all the steps. His website is great and easy to use. You can log all the music you want to hear so when you hear a great song you can add or subtract to your list. Jared thank you for an unforgettable night.

You cannot go wrong with Jared. Jared was great in every regard as a DJ. He met with us twice prior to the wedding to discuss musical taste, reception style, and activities. Jared has an excellent website that allows you to select the songs you absolutely want to hear before the big day (as well as those songs that you absolutely do NOT want to hear.) We had a smaller wedding (60 guests) and before the big day, I think Jared was expecting a pretty laid-back affair that ended early. Good thing he is so adept at reading a crowd, because even though we were supposed to wrap up at 10, the party kept on going! He was also great about making the night flow well and keeping activities on track. He took requests and fit things in, and going along really well with all our guests. Every one of our guests raved about him and the fun they had at the reception. Overall, we were extremely happy with all aspects of his service and would not hesitate to recommend him.

We met with Jared prior to hiring him and he was very professional but also laid back and willing to work with us to make our wedding day a great success. His interactive website is very user friendly and made the whole selection process simple and stress free. In my opinion, the DJ largely determines the success of your wedding and Jared did a phenomenal job finding the perfect balance of music to make everyone happy and have a great time. He kept everyone on the dance floor and the party going. Not only was Jared a great DJ, but he is an even better person. We were so happy to have him be a part of our special day and would definitely recommend his services for your wedding or event.

Everyone at my wedding loved JD Productions! Jared got almost everyone on the dance floor with his diverse and lively music selection. After the wedding, people asked me who are DJ was because they had such an amazing time. JD Productions helped my husband and I with direction when it came to picking out songs and games during our reception. After spending a long time looking for DJs in Connecticut, we finally decided there were none who could both fill us with confidence and meet our budget. We decided to look across the border in Massachusetts, and we found JD Productions, run by Jared. From the start, Jared was great to work with and put us at ease. He was able to work with our budget without a problem, and whatever we wanted is what we got. As he said—it is our wedding. Many other DJs were saying that we “had to do” certain things. He acquired and used our extensive list of obscure music choices, at no extra cost. We had an unexpected hiccup on our wedding day—the power went out at our venue just before our ceremony. Jared quickly whipped out some up lighting from somewhere, so it could be hooked up to generators—again at no extra charge. I would definitely recommend JD Productions.

We had Jared dj our jack n Jill and our wedding. We were very impressed with him on every level. He was fun and professional. He had great suggestions and listened to tower we wanted. People have said our wedding was one of the funnest they've been to and that may not have been the case if we didn't have Jared. We would definitely recommend him!

Jared was thoughtful in his approach to helping us plan and execute the music and entertainment for our wedding reception. He offered more than I expected a DJ to. We were extremely lucky to be able to have Jared be available for our wedding. I met him and his wife at a wedding expo and neither one of them were overly aggressive in trying to earn our business. They have a great product and they know it. The week of our wedding Jared end up in the hospital and he still ended up doing our wedding. Everyone who was at our wedding says it was the best PARTY they had ever been to, and we know that a big reason for that was because of Jared. I would not hesitate to recommend him. For all that he does for your wedding he is not charging enough.

Jared thought of a lot of the details related to the reception that we would have never thought of. Games to give away the centerpieces and an entertaining get to know the bride and groom game. He played a great variety of music that was appreciated by all age groups at our wedding. He put on a great show without being the center of attention. Jared wore professional attire and even provided sound equipment for the ceremony and live singer for our first dance song.

Jared's website provides an online organizational system for keeping track of music you'd like or not like played at the reception. Although I didn't take much advantage of this cool feature...it definitely puts anxious brides mind at ease! He is definitely at the forefront of digital technology.

We had an incredible time at our wedding and wished it didn't have to end! Would hightly recommend!

Everybody had a great time and all the custom lighting was awesome. Has a great interactive website to help you plan and was very helpful in plotting out the evenings events based on music and entertainment. Super helpful through the whole process, and their services certainly brought an extra element to the event. Highly recommend.

Jared is an AMAZING DJ!!! Great personality and character to add to your event. He is very approachable and real, definitely not phony like most cheesy DJ's. Any song you want, he will get. I love his online event pages he has for his clients to set up. You can view your payments, and add any songs you want played and any song that you don't want played. He will make your event special by playing the music that keeps your party going and that works ofr you and the crowd!! Highly Recommended!!

Jared was an amazing DJ! He handled the music for both our ceremony and our reception. We had a multi-cultural wedding and, at first, I was worried that not everyone would like the music or that not everyone would dance. But Jared handled all of our concerns at our pre wedding consultations and was very flexible and understanding. Since the wedding, I have had SEVERAL people tell me that they had never seen so many people on the dance floor at a wedding before. Even the older guests danced! At one point during the wedding, when my husband and I were busy taking pictures, we turned around and the dance floor was PACKED! We were very happy about that. Jared was also a great emcee--he kept the flow of the night going smoothly and was always right there when we needed him. He was great to work with and custom tailored the night to our needs (especially since several of our announcements were made in more than one language). We were not too picky about the music--we just let Jared handle the details, and he did great! His prices are very reasonable and he did a great job--we would recommend him highly.

Jared was amazing!! Made our night the best ever! He knew how to read the dance floor and play what was good for our mixed age crowd. He made amazing recommendations for songs and the up lighting was an amazing added bonus! EVERYONE loved him. He was fun easy and great to work with. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone!'

Having Jared as the D.J. made the planning part of our wedding that much easier! He helped us plan out the reception and met with us a few times before the wedding to make sure everything was exactly what we wanted. During the wedding, he knew how to play to the crowd and was comfortable ending songs before they were done and picking different ones in order to get people back on the dance floor. He even got the bride's mom to join in! Jared did an awesome job announcing all the little things throughout the night, like the cake cutting and opening up the "photo booth," which helped us make sure we didn't miss a thing! We definitely 100% recommend him for anyone's wedding!

Planning a wedding can be stressful, from choosing colors, to coordinating a group of misfits, the one thing that has to be a lifesaver is the DJ. Lifesaver seems like an understatement to describe JD Productions. Every meeting we had with Jared was a blast and nothing but laughter was exchanged. He was professional, excited, and most of all, passionate. We gave him very few guidelines and he knew exactly what we wanted. During the reception he kept everything working smoothly and acted as a liaison between us and the venue so that myself and the groom did not have to deal with any catastrophes that arose during the day! I would recommend JD Productions at any event.

We hired Jared for our daughter's wedding in November. He provided the music for my daughter's outdoor ceremony as well as all music at the reception. In the past, we had heard many DJ's which we felt were unprofessional and not the personality we were looking for. This made us a bit anxious when choosing a DJ. We learned about JD Productions through a referral. We could not have been more pleased with his services. He played a wonderful assortment of music that was enjoyed by all ages. He included the special requests we asked for and did not play the type of music we didn't want. He has a great personality and fit in well with our relaxed wedding atmosphere. Jared Duff of JDProductions is by far one of the best DJ's... he is funny, sociable, talented (he sang my husbands and my first dance song). He makes music mixes and is willing to choreograph some fun dances. He went way above and beyond and I was proud to have him as my DJ.

We met Jared at a bridal show and once we contacted him to inquire about booking we knew he was a great fit for our wedding! He was very personable and easy to work with. He followed along with our crazy ideas and made some suggestions of his own. We never felt any pressure to upgrade packages, which I appreciated because other DJs we talked to did that. He kept the party going at the reception for sure! our guests loved him and had a great time! I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

We could not have asked for a more perfect wedding experience, and we owe Jared a great deal of thanks for his part in making that happen. Jared has an incredible ability to read the crowd, and play music that will keep people on the dance floor. Our friends and family won't stop talking about how much fun they had dancing through the night - and that included folks who definitely wouldn't describe themselves as the dancing type.

On the day of the wedding Jared showed up right on time, was completely prepared, and quickly assessed what sound needs were required across the venue. We needed music and sound across 3 different areas and he took care of all of the set up completely independently. We were busy getting ready that morning so Jared's ability to coordinate everything on his own was incredibly reassuring, and left us completely free to focus on the events of the day.

Overall we can't recommend Jared enough. We didn't realize how much of a difference it would make, but having Jared there as a quality DJ really helped make the day/night truly memorable.

"Best wedding ever" - "The DJ was amazing" - "We had so much fun at the reception" - etc., etc. Those were the comments we heard for weeks to come from guests following our May 2013 wedding. Jared (the DJ at our event) nearly stole the show that evening! He had everyone dancing for hours, including my dad! He was professional from the start, met with us several times to make sure he knew what we were looking for, and then delivered a great final product on the day of the wedding. I could not have asked for more in a DJ and it was such a good price. I highly recommend this DJ, especially for a modern-style wedding like we had. Feel free to message me and ask any questions!

I highly recommend Duff DJ Company. Jared is a fantastic DJ and Emcee, and he coordinated our wedding perfectly to the final detail. Jared listened to our preferences and specific requests, took those to heart, and then added some extra flair to make the actual event even better than what we had imagined. During our wedding we had SEVERAL guests compliment his song selection and his singing (voice of an angel). During dancing, Jared made sure to balance a mix of slow songs and popular hits, and the dance floor was packed the entire night. We loved having Jared a part of our special day and give him our highest recommendation for any wedding or event!

We had agreat experience with Duff DJ Company. Jared worked with us to figure out all the important songs for the ceremony, introductions, dinner and reception. It was very easy to work with him, and the price was great. Everyone had a blast and he kept the energy level high.
