Great service

They beautifully cleaned and preserved the dress my daughter wore for her wedding -- which was my wedding gown from 30 years earlier. The dress was in decent shape for being that old, and they took careful care of it to keep it that way. I really appreciate how easy it was to work with them -- they came to our house to get the dress, sent us an estimate, cleaned it and sent us a detailed video of the dress for our approval before preserving it, and then delivered the clean and preserved dress in a box back to our house. Could not be happier!

This was the best decision we ever made. It was expensive, but well worth every dime spent. After reading reviews of some of the nightmares experienced by other brides, my daughter and I decided to go with a very reputable cleaners. So we contacted Dry Clean Baltimore to do the job. We had a number of concerns about the process. The dress was covered with stones and embellishments from the sweetheart neckline, front and back, to the bottom flare out with tiny silk buttons down the back. We had sparklers at the end of the wedding, so the dress had been dragged on the concrete driveway outside the hotel and people had stepped on it multiple times. Added to that was the fact that because the dress was so dirty, my daughter wouldn't bring it to me until a year and a half after the wedding. When Ms. Tenisha Tutt came to my home and saw the condition of the dress, she didn't promise perfection, but said they would do absolutely everything they could to get the dress cleaned. When she called to say the dress was ready, because we were so doubtful, we asked if we could see it before it was packed and preserved. We were not expecting a miracle, but a miracle was what we got! The dress was cleaned and looked like new! My daughter was in tears when she saw it. AMAZING was all I could say. Everyone at Dry Clean Baltimore was extremely kind no matter who we talked to in person or on the telephone. Once the dress was preserved, Ms. Tutt arranged to personally deliver it to my home. She came and reminded me once again of the importance of proper storage. If you are looking for a top rated, professional cleaners to care for your important items, I highly recommend Dry Clean Baltimore. In addition, Ms. Tenshia Tutt deserves a 5-Star rating all by herself for her kindness, understanding, and professionalism. She took the worry and nervousness away from us about this dress. I didn't think anyone could do it, but they did the impossible.

They were amazing with my mother's dress. It hadn't been cleaned since the 80s and they made it look like new - and on a tight schedule, as well! I called them about two weeks before my wedding (totally my fault for procrastinating) and they cleaned and delivered my dress to me before the wedding, no problem. They were extremely kind and patient throughout the whole process, which I greatly appreciate. Well worth the money!

Super professional, trustworthy and convenient! Chris was very responsive and informative to. My dress wasn't overly dirty, but did have some snags and dirt around the bottom area that I wanted cleaned up in case I decide to sell my dress. They were able to clean/repair it all up nicely. My favorite part of their services was the free pick up/drop off! (They were even willing to meet me downtown AND do it on the weekend in order to work with my schedule!).

Excellent, responsive customer service. They did GREAT work with my all lace, ballgown Kleinfeld's wedding dress. They even picked it up and dropped it off at my house for me! Dirt on the train was well treated and now barely noticeable or non-existent at this point. I had a TON of spray tan stains in the inside of the dress and along the underarm area, that is all completely gone :) They boxed it up in a nice cardboard box with a window so I can see it whenever I want and they didn't say I wasn't allowed to open the box (like some sketchy places will). They sent me photos of the dress once it was cleaned and let me come and see it in person before they perserved it.
Great job overall! Highly recommended for your wedding gown cleaning and perserving! Fast, friendly, convenient!

I used DryCleanBaltimore.com to clean and preserve my wedding dress. After a lot of research, I decided to hire DryCleanBaltimore.com based on their reviews and customer feedback. I am so happy with my choice! They were professional and provided updates as the dress was being cleaned. I had the option to go and examine my dress before they preserved it. I don’t live close to their office, so they sent me pictures instead. They worked with me on different shipping options after everything was done. I would highly recommend this company. I’ve only provided a handful of reviews after my wedding and this company deserved the recognition.

These guys were great! From the friendly girls we worked with when we first dropped off my dress, to Chris who handled all of our email back and forth, they are all extremely professional and sweet. My gown was a fair mess after our outdoor ceremony and outdoor/indoor reception, but they did a great job taking care of it with before and after pictures, and even drove all the way out to my office on the border of Delaware to deliver. It is definitely not an inexpensive process, but with the great care they take of the gown, and the wonderful customer service, it is certainly worth it to preserve your wedding gown for the next few decades!

I had a great experience with Chris from Schroedl Cleaners. She was always very responsive and accommodating. I had a few issues when trying to get my dress cleaned (such as being out of town when the dress was cleaned and ready) and was able to work something out. I would definitely recommend them to any bride!

Okay, so where do I even begin?!? Chris had gone ABOVE and BEYOND. I live in Kent County DE, and she drove to me from Maryland to pick up my dress. I need the dress cleaned prior to my alterations, there was some dirt around the hemline, and Schroedl brought my dress back in New condition. All of the delicate lace and swarovski crystals were not damaged and not affected by their services. Give Chris a call. She will give you an honest assessment and estimate. They are AMAZING!!! I will be back for the preservation of my gown. THANK YOU SCHROEDL's! You really made me so happy.

Chris Patterson was wonderful to work with. She met with me to go over the wedding dress detail and record stains and any damage to the dress. Pictures were taken and emailed to me. After the cleaning I was asked if I wanted to see the dress before it was boxed. I was unable to so Chris took pictures of the cleaned dress and emailed them to me. Chris even delivered the wedding dress to my house which was a little over an hour from their store. I would highly recommend this cleaner.

A heirloom and stored designer wedding gown was intended for use at a wedding gown as something borrowed. Horrors as there was less than 2 weeks until the destination event. The date of discovery was 1/4/15 and it was Sunday. I sent an email from the company website and thought that's it. We are sunk. Well I heard back from Chris within 1 hour and pics were sent. The owner got involved. The dress was there by Monday AM and the miracle workers were able to completely address without any compromise of a single SWAROVSKI crystal that is so intricate to the dress. The destination went off as planned!!!!! Happy mama!!!! Extremely happy customer.

I took my wedding gown to Schroedl Custom Cleaners over one year after my wedding. Time got away from me, and the dress had some serious stains from dancing around the hem. Schroedl Custom Cleaners reviewed the gown with me and said they would do their best. I examined gown after they cleaned it and it looks fabulous! Next, they will preserve it for me, and because it is inconvenient for me to drive to the store once more to pick it up, Schroedl Custom Cleaners will deliver the preserved gown to my home. Although I didn't shop around extensively, the price seemed reasonable compared to some other vendors. Schroedl Custom Cleaners has been around for a long time and their wedding dress cleaning/preservation services seem to have stood the test of time. The customer service and professionalism at Schroedl Custom Cleaners was top notch!

Dryclean Baltimore did a fantastic job cleaning my dress after my wedding. They were able to get out all grass stains, dirt stains from the dress dragging I my ground at the reception, sweat stains and even vomit (long story!). My dress is back to new so I am getting it preserved by the too!

When I think back to my perfect day 4 years ago I'm all smiles. I did some research and Chris, not necessarily the company came very highly recommended. What I mean by saying this is Chris made the company and the experience absolutely amazing! I waited over 3 years to finally have my dressed cleaned, life got busy and time got away from me. I called Chris and explained my dress to him and where the problem areas were. Like most wedding gowns the bottom of my dress was the dirtiest. Chris met me near my home to pick up the dress to be cleaned. He had to drive about an hour out of the way to get to me but was very happy to accommodate. Chris took my dress back to the cleaners and kept me posted every step of the way. He sent me pictures as my dress went through each cleaning (3 in total) to show the progress. When the dress was finished he contacted me and we scheduled a time to meet for me to see the dress before it was preserved. It was beautiful, even after all that time they were able to get most of the dirt out. My dress had a lot of crystal work and they cleaned each crystal individually by hand. I was very pleased with the way the dress looked. In addition one of the seams was coming loose which they tacked and my mother-in-law had stepped on my veil the day of the wedding and ripped it; they tacked that too! Overall working with Chris was one of the best experiences I've ever had with customer service. Again Chris made the experience what it was without him I highly doubt I would've received the service I did. Thanks Chris for helping me to preserve such a special moment in my life!

Service is excellent. People there are friendly and helpful. They told you the cost and service they provide before you sign the contract. They even finished it earlier than they promised. After they delivered the item, they taught you how to take care of it and what warranty covered.

My wedding dress was restored to its intended colour of diamond white, thanks to the folks at Schroedl Custom Cleaners since 1861. The team was swift & efficient -- Chris was especially helpful, as he personally picked up & then delivered my sparkling white dress to our home. I will most definitely be using Schroedl's to preserve my dress as well. I can't recommend them enough!!!

Chris was awesome! Not only did he pick my dress up but he also delivered it back to me once it was done. Made things a lot easier for me during wedding planning. My dress looks amazing! There were a few stains in it from 30 years ago when my mother in law wore the dress originally. All the stains are gone and it looks brand new!

Working with Christopher Crawmer was an amazing experience. First, he was a pleasure to deal with and was extremely personable and gracious. He was very attentive to all my requests about my daughter's wedding gown and even took care of making all the arrangements with a seamstress to repair a tear - that you can't even see now! Christopher sent emails and photos so I would know exactly what was going on throughout the process. I would absolutely recommend Schroedl's to friends - but that is entirely because of the excellent service Christopher provided!

Service was great. Christopher was very helpful and friendly and picked up the gown and brought the gown to us after cleaning. There were many marks on the gown as it was a used gown from Brides Against Breast Cancer. Came out good as new.

I had my wedding dress cleaned and preserved by Schroedl Custom Cleaners a couple of months after my wedding, and I was glad I did! They were very easy to work with and kept me updated on the status of my dress over email, including with photos. The turnaround on cleaning and preserving the dress was quick, and the work was great. I would recommend Schroedl to any bride thinking about the long-term "life" of her dress.

Chris is very professional and flexible. When I first called, he was very patient in answering all my questions and concerns about cleaning and preserving my wedding dress. I would totally recommend getting your gown cleaned and preserved here. It was not only the best price I came across but also the only place that picked up/dropped off. Very convenient! Chris did an amazing job cleaning my dress. When I gave my dress to him, it was very dirty on the bottom and had stains on the armpit area of my dress. After Chris cleaned my dress, all the dirt and stains were gone! Amazing work!

My dress had a yellow mystery stain on it after being in the closet for a long time. My friend helped me find this dry cleaner with the wonderful reviews. I took my dress in and was quickly reassured that they could get rid of the stain.

I was given a simple contract, updated via e-mail each step of the way. The experience was great, and my dress was saved! I was so relieved that the stain was removed and in a timely manner during wedding season.

Absolutely amazing - can't say enough about Christopher and his team. My wedding dress arrived in the mail from a boutique in NYC with a stain on the font of the skirt, and I called multiple cleaners in the Baltimore area to inquire about getting the stain removed. Most wouldn't even try, and others said they would "take a whack at it", which was not very comforting. Christopher and his team were fantastic. They made me feel super comfortable right away, got the stain out super fast (and perfectly - good as new), and Christopher even delivered my dress to my door. On a Saturday. And I live 30 miles from the shop. Best customer service ever - bar none. When it's time to have my wedding dress cleaned and pressed after my fittings, I will definitely return to Schroedl and Christopher. Best ever.

I had a wonderful experience working with Schroedl Custom Cleaners/DryCleanBaltimore. Chris was super responsive from the first introduction. We found a convenient time and he came to me to pick up my dress. He answered all my questions about the process and sent before and after pictures. He was super responsive to emails and very flexible with a drop off time. They also made sure that I had a chance to see my gown again before it was preserved. I felt confident that my dress was handled with care and not sent off to somewhere land to be cleaned and preserved. From the moment I talked to Christopher, I instantly felt at ease and knew I could trust Schroedl Cleaners to clean my gown. I wore my mother's wedding gown, which is about 30 years old. I cannot say enough good things about Schroedl Custom Cleaners! I bought two sample wedding gowns that needed brightening up before my wedding this September, Schroedl was the only company I could find with all positive reviews and after speaking with Chris, I felt very comfortable leaving my dresses with them. The quality of their work was fantastic, my dresses look brand new and are going to sparkle on my wedding day! They are also very reasonably priced, I got two dresses cleaned and pressed for what some of the other places quoted me to clean one. Fast and prompt service. Super responsive and a great value. Chris did a great job cleaning my wife's wedding dress. We waited 2.5 years to have the dress cleaned and preserved, Chris worked his magic and the dress looks brand new.

I highly recommend that every bride in not only the Baltimore but DC METRO AREA get their wedding gown cleaned by Christopher. I live in DC and was searching for a place to get my gown cleaned before my wedding/getting alterations. All the places I contacted in DC were snobby and overpriced. They seemed like they didn't really care about taking care of your dress. So I did a quick search on Weddingwire, read the reviews about Christopher at Schroedl Cleaners and decided to try him out. From day one, Christopher was attentive, responsive, and provided TOP NOTCH quality service. I have an Enzoani lace gown and Christopher and his team worked tirelessly on my gown to make sure it looked perfect. They provided updates along the way and pictures. (As a side note- my dress was extremely difficult to clean because a friend of mine wore it at her wedding in Napa Valley so parts of the dress were stained and the bottom was dirty. Those stains had been sitting in the dress for about a year). Christopher's team did a FANTASTIC job at cleaning the dress and I am so excited to wear it on my wedding day. I really can't thank him enough. In this stressful wedding planning process, he was one of the easiest, friendliest, and most trustworthy vendors I have worked with thus far. WOW! I shopped around and compared prices, reviews...before putting my daughter's very special but now muddy and grass stained wedding gown into someone else's hands. I called and spoke with SCHROEDL CUSTOM CLEANERS and was immediately impressed with their customer service, policies and pricing. We became more impressed once we were contacted by Christopher Crawmer who would be in charge of giving us an estimate and picking up the dress. The entire process was easy. The dress is clean and preserved, in fact it looks brand new. He was extremely professional and very flexible in coordinating the pick up and delivery of the dress. The price was very competitive. The comments and reviews on this place do not lie. I researched high and low for a reputable cleaners that specialized in wedding dress cleanings and one that didnt break the bank. This place is amazing and truly top notch customer service. Chris was such a breath of fresh air to deal with. He sent pictures throughout the cleaning process, and even delivered my dress back to me (and I do not live in Baltimore, MD). WOW! I waited a long time (too long) to get my dress cleaned. I was married in New Orleans and paraded through the streets after my wedding (oh so fun!). So you can only imagine the amount of dirt at the bottom of my SILK dress. The before and after pictures are amazing. I would 100% recommend this place to any bride. Thanks again for great service!

Schroedl was not my first call to get my wife's wedding dress restored and preserved. The first place I called was very short with me and offered little detail on their process with a large price tag to boot. So, I put off the process thinking that it might not be worth the cost. But, after finding some great reviews for Schrodel, I gave them a call and spoke with Chris. He was fantastic in explaining their process in detail, giving me a price range and even offering to come pick it up. Upon seeing the stained 3-year-old dress, he still came in a price toward the low end of his estimate range and we agreed upon the work. From there, he was adapt at keeping me updated in the process with pictures of how things were going. Finally, he delivered the dress right to my work when it was finished and it looked fantastic! Add in that they are a member of the Association of Wedding Gown Specialists, where all members work together if any discoloration or fading is to occur, and this was a fantastic experience!

One of our customers (of PIZAZZ Wedding Boutique) brought her dress to us and I thought there was no way this was going to get completely clean. The bride received a spray tan sometime before her wedding and it was all over the inside of the dress. Their venue had a brick floor so her hem was filthy dirty. To top that off beautiful white feathers adorned her wedding gown.

Everything came out beautifully after cleaning, all the feathers were still there and it was packaged more than expected. They pick up and deliver back to the store you purchased from or they will go directly to your home to meet you, take your dress and deliver back to you or your place of business/work.

Christopher was very friendly and explained everything to me. He made sure everything was more than expected.

I waited over 3 years after my wedding to get my wedding dress cleaned and preserved because I was so scared something would happen to my dress. I finally bit the bullet and called up Schroedl. I spoke with Chris, who was very friendly, professional, and reassuring. He offered to come pick my dress up from my house, but I preferred to deliver it myself which he was fine with. He emailed me "before" photos of my dress and a scanned copy of the contract. I didn't have to pay a penny up front. He told me it could take up to 2 weeks to clean the dress but 4 days later he emailed me saying it was done, with "after" photos. I had the option to go see the dress in person before it was preserved but I didn't feel like I needed to since I had the photos. A day later the dress was preserved and boxed up, and I went to pick it up (he offered to deliver it but I lived so close I didn't feel the need to have it delivered). Chris told me there was one stain on the bottom that had set in since I had waited so long to get the dress cleaned, but that was my fault. Overall I am very happy with my choice, and wish I hadn't waited so long to have my dress cleaned. The price was fair I thought, $250. There seemed to be about 10-15 other dresses being processed at the same time as mine, so I think they do a lot of wedding dresses. I felt I could trust Chris, and I'm glad I did. Highly recommended.

After my 12/1/12 wedding, my wedding dress hung in my closet for months. The bottom of my dress (a large, ballgown-style Maggie Sottero) was blackened from dragging on the ground. I searched online for cleaners in my area that would be able to sufficiently clean my dress, and preserve it in a way that it would not yellow over time, and I found Schroedl Custom Cleaners. When I called and they directed me to Chris. I was impressed by his professionalism, as well as his willingness to come pick up my dress. The price point was very reasonable compared to other cleaners in the area , and I had increased confidence due to their "Association of Wedding Gown Specialists" guarantee. I signed the contract with Chris in my home and he took my dress with him. He kept me posted, and my dress was complete within 14 days. I opted to come to the shop and take a look prior to packaging. Tenisha, the employee responsible for cleaning the dress, did a fantastic job! I couldn't believe how she was able to get out all of the black dirt from the bottom of the dress, especially around the intricate lace detail. Chris delivered my dress to me in a preservation window box (positioned nicely so people can see the top of the dress) and I submitted payment over the phone. The whole process was easy and professional. I would highly recommend this vendor for wedding dress cleaning.

Schroedl Custom Cleaners were outstanding in the cleaning of my daughter's wedding gown. The train of the dress was very soiled and there was a red wine stain on the back of the dress. Chris was very accommodating and professional. The day I called the store he came to my house to pick up the gown and my dress. Two weeks later he delivered the dresses to my home at no extra charge. I was very happy with my experience with Schroedl Custom Cleaners.

After searching for someplace to clean and preserve my daughter's wedding gown I came across Schroedl and I'm glad I did. Chris promptly returned my call, explained pricing, process, etc and set an appt. to pick up the dress from my home. The pick up and delivery service they offer at no additional charge is a great value. He even had the courtesy to call and say he was running 15 late due to traffic issues. The dress was delivered back to me about a week later (ahead of schedule) and looked great via the "after" pictures. The one stain on the dress was clearly gown and the gown boxed and preserved wonderfully. No surprises on the pricing. Overall a great experience and I highly recommend trusting your gown to them.

Chris with Schroedl Cleaners was absolutely wonderful to work with! Not only was he extremely responsive to all of my questions about the wedding dress cleaning and preservation process, but he went above and beyond to accommodate my schedule with pick-up and drop-off. He traveled all the way from Westminster to my house in Baltimore City to pick up my dress, took numerous pictures and kept me updated throughout the process, and then delivered my dress to me in less than two weeks! I wasn't only happy with the quality of their cleaning service, but also with the value. I priced out several stores for my wedding dress cleaning and preservation, and Schroedl Cleaners came back well below the rest! Chris from Schroedl Cleaners was the epitome of professionalism and timeliness with the dry-cleaning and preservation of my wedding gown. Literally door-to-door service, making the ease of the last wedding task the best experience... he picked up and dropped off around my time schedule, made sure I was satisfied with the look of the dress by way of an email and photo before it was packaged up, and kept in regular contact with me about the return date, which was prompt. I also chose the cleaners knowing that they were part of the Association of Wedding Gown Specialists, which is an important factor for me in choosing a cleaner.

I highly recommend the unique and customized, personal service that Schroedl, and Chris, has provided to my and my wonderful dress. After such a lovely day, you want your dress preserved so that you can possibly pull it out of storage one day and have it look the same as the day you wore it. The only place I would trust my mother's 40 year old wedding dress!! After I got engaged I asked my mother and grandmother where my mom's wedding dress was, my grandmother had it in a box in her garage...in a ball, crumpled up, rust stains, water stains. When I tried it on no one thought it was salvageable. My fiancé even said "I don't want you to wear a dirty wedding dress." After working with a costume designer and vintage refurbisher in NYC, the dress was re-made using all parts and I was able to wear my mother's wedding dress from 1976 on my own wedding in February 2016! I invested a lot of time and money into saving this dress and I wanted my sister or any other family member to be able to wear it in the future. I was so fortunate to hear of Drycleanbaltimore.com from a local bridal shop. Chris came to my home for a free consultation, I could tell she was as passionate about her job and my dress, as I was. Due to the details of the hem of the dress the owner himself worked on the cleaning of it and in the end they also did the package/preserving. Chris at Schroedl was very easy to work with. He was able to come pick-up and deliver my dress, to make it more convenient for me and my work schedule. I was also happy that the company was local and that my dress would not be shipped anywhere for cleaning or preservation. I know that some other companies do this. Schroedl does everything in house, so it's much more secure.

The presentation of my gown is excellent. My dress was 2 pieces, so a bit more complicated then normal, and they did an excellent job. The cleaning was great! Chris sent me photos of the dress before it was packed and it looked pristine! I had gotten a spray tan before my wedding and it left stains on the inside of my dress. They were able to get all of that out, along with all of the other normal marks that end up on your dress by the end of the night.

We did have one minor hiccup, when the beaded belt that I wore with my dress was mistakenly left out of the preservation box (I had asked that it also be placed in the box). Chris caught the mistake and rectified it immediately. Overall, I was very happy with the outcome and the service I received.

Chris was AMAZING! Communication was easy and she is very knowledgeable! I found Chris and Schroedl Custom Cleaners to be very good and exactly up to par with all the other reviews that I had read on the website prior to calling them about having my wedding gown cleaned and preserved. Chris was extremely professional, keeping me informed of how the cleaning/preserving process works, how long it would take and what to expect in regards to the service received and pricing. My dress came back exactly as he explained to me. As an added bonus to me, I work in the Baltimore area and have very limited freetime due to my job to run errands. Chris was able to come to my place of work to pick up AND drop off the wedding dress. I would highly recommend and trust them to do work with any of my fine clothing. I only gave them 4 stars for value due to the fact it seemed a little high to get the cleaning that I had to have done to my dress when it wasn't really that dirty in the first place, but I didn't have any idea of what cleaning and preserving a dress would cost. (It cost me $275 for a very lightly soiled dress).

I was quite lost on who I could trust in the Baltimore area to clean and preserve my wedding dress. I saw a review on another wedding website that gave Schroedl great reviews. One I made a call and began communicating with Chris I knew I could trust Schroedl to do a great job. The best part was the dress was delivered to my house when it was finished because I could not make it to the store during business hours. So convenient!

My wedding dress came back extremely clean. All of the stains were removed and it looks as good as new. I am giving four stars for responsiveness and professionalism because I accidentally received emails intended for another bride. While the service was expensive, it was above and beyond what I expected. My dress was picked up on 10/22/15 and returned to me on 1/21/16. I moved in the several weeks that they had my dress and even though I moved an hour away, they still delivered my dress to me at no additional charge. I probably could have paid a lot less to have my dress cleaned and preserved, but I doubt it would have came out looking perfectly new and with such an expensive purchase, I didn't want to risk it.

I brought my wedding dress here 3 weeks ago to get it cleaned and preserved. They inspected my dress at the time of drop off and there were only a few loose string at the top of the dress. I called in 3 weeks later to check on the status of my dress and the lady that helped me was very rude and impatient. This morning I went in to look at my wedding dress only to find that is now has a tear at the bottom from of the dress. My dress did not have any tears before I brought it to this place. When I asked about the tear the lady told me they had nothing to do with it and did not show any sympathy. I decided to take my dress home out of fear that it would continue to be damaged at this place. The dress is clean now but I have to figure out how to preserve it myself. Overall, I would say the service was very bad at this place. The lady that deals with wedding dresses is very rude and impatient. I would recommend other brides to look elsewhere to get their dress cleaned and preserved.
