Perfect wedding dress appointment!

I highly recommend Dress Your Fancy for any wedding dress needs! I went with my mom and sister, and my dad popped in to see the final three selections, and all of us were in total agreement that Dress Your Fancy was the perfect place to go. They have a wide selection of dresses, and they did a great job of finding ones in styles that I thought I would like, gathering a few different styles to try just in case, and offering additional options that they did not have in store but could order. They also let me try on veils to see what that would look like. Throughout the visit in December of 2023, I felt supported and heard, and I truly had the most positive time there. I ordered by dress in January, and it actually came earlier than anticipated, so I was able to pick it up in June. Dress Your Fancy was really helpful in meeting my schedule, since I was coming from out of town, and they helped me to find someone to do some minor alterations closer to my home. I just dropped off my dress for preservation at Dress Your Fancy as well! Thank you to everyone at DYF; I am so grateful for you!

The Best Experience!

Dress Your Fancy made my wedding dress shopping such an amazing experience. Hannah was the absolute best to work with. She was so patient and made sure that I was 100% sure (tried on a bunch of different styles AND let me come back the next day with more people) before saying yes to the dress. After purchasing, they were great with helping select accessories that went with the dress, altering the dress to fit perfectly, and even steamed it before picking it up! 100% recommend!

Absolutely amazing experience

I went here after another bridal boutique. This boutique had soo many options to choose from and they helped me so much in selecting my perfect dress for me. I walked in wanting a big poofy wedding dress and walked out loving and going with a mermaid dress. I never would have thought I would’ve liked or chose something like that but it was soo stunning and I fell in love. It was very hard to resist saying yes to the dress.

Fantastic, thoughtful staff!

I purchased my wedding dress from Dress Your Fancy after unexpectedly finding "the one" at a special Curvy Dress event they held. Shelly in particular was very honest and helpful while I was trying things on as I was initially unsure about the dress. The atmosphere is lovely and really makes you feel special. I was upfront with my budget needs and everyone was respectful of it when picking gowns for me. Additional accessories and shoes were available through their shop as well, but I did not elect those due to cost. They offer alterations through local seamstresses or you can take it to your own. Overall, given how isolated CNY sometimes is for finding a wedding dress & accessories, Dress Your Fancy was fantastic and helped me feel beautiful on my wedding day!

The absolute best!

I cannot begin to express how wonderful Dress Your Fancy was to work with. I went in with no idea of what I was looking for in a gown. Shelly asked me some questions and quickly pulled a selection for me to try on. It didn't take long at all for her to figure out what was working and what wasn't and fine tune the options for the style I was gravitating towards. It was amazing to watch her work her magic in getting me into a dress that I absolutely loved and knew was the one. After going back for one of my fittings with a seamstress that Shelly paired me with, she was there to help select a dress for my mom and accessorize me. Again, I was blown away to watch her match the most perfect hairpiece, veil, and earrings to my gown and put my mom in a stunning dress. It doesn't stop there, after needing to move my wedding up to a much sooner date than I was originally planning, DYF rushed our orders to make our dreams come true - having everything just perfect for my wedding. I would hands down recommend Dress Your Fancy to any and all brides, they have an amazing selection to choose from and the customer service and generosity is at a level that I couldn't have ever imagined - thank you DYF for helping to make my wedding day beyond perfect.

What wedding dreams are made of!

I had such an amazing experience finding my wedding dress at Dress Your Fancy. This is a beautiful boutique! My Mom and I went during the week and we got super lucky to have the salon to ourselves! Shelly was so welcoming, kind, patient, and helped to put me at ease, I could not have asked for a better experience. We also found an elegant mother-of the bride gown there as well! Beautiful selection of wedding gowns and wedding accessories-Paris by Debra Moreland-one stop shopping! Shelly and her team value their customers and it shows! They can also connect you with a seamstress who will work with you on-site at the shop. Shelly + Cheryl were great & I'm thankful they helped make it such a memorable day for my mom and I!

Found my dream dress

Dress Your Fancy treats you like you are their best friend coming in to try on dresses. The atmosphere is always welcoming and always helpful. I never felt judged because of my budget and they did everything they could to help me feel beautiful while never pushing me out of my budget. When I returned for my accessories I was treated with the same kindness and professionalism. I was nervous for dress shopping because I'm not a big fan of the spotlight, but the DYF team made me so comfortable and at ease the whole time. A really wonderful place to find your dress!

An Amazing Experience

I went to DYF because my parents were local to the area (I moved about 2 1/2 hours away) and I had my heart set on a HP wedding dress that they special ordered for me to try on. Stephanie was my consultant and was extremely helpful! I ended up purchasing a dress that I never would have even thought I would like (and it wasn't HP). Fast forward to my dress coming in, I drove back to Vestal to pick it up and have it altered at home so I wouldn't have to travel leading up to my wedding. I had a freak out because it wasn't fitting the way the sample did. Shelly and Cheryl were so helpful-- looking at pictures I sent them, taking measurements for me-- all so I could tell my seamstress at home how to fix the dress. My big day came and my dress was perfect. I have never felt more beautiful in my entire life. I also ordered my veil and earrings with DYF which were also absolutely beautiful! I would recommend DYF to any bride looking for a personal dress shopping experience.

Amazinggggg

Shelly and her team are out of this world. They truly care about their brides and will stop at nothing to help make their day easier. I believe I found my dress only 1 month after getting engaged, 3/2019. I had zero plans to buy that day but wanted to check out the Hayley Paige trunk show. Shelly is an expert and helped me find the most perfect dress I couldve asked for. She helped me pick out the perfect bridesmaids dresses as well. She even held my dress there, safe and sound in the shop, as our wedding was delayed a year due to COVID. Every question/request/favor I had, Shelly was quick to help, even if it had nothing to do with my wedding dress. Im sad my wedding is over now and I won't have much of a reason to go visit this beautiful shop.

the best of the best!

For starters DYF is absolutely incredible! The entire process could not have been any easier for me! I am still in shock that it was so easy and smooth. I initially I went to Dress Your Fancy because I was looking for a specific designer (Hayley Paige). They also offer trunk shows to help accessorize you on your day custom designed by Debra Mooreland. It was such a treat to be accessorized by the best of the best and you truly felt like a princess! We ended up buying dresses for my mother and my now mother in law- and they looked absolutely stunning as well. There is without a doubt we could not of had our fairytale day without them even with the pandemic regulations at the time! You can tell they go above and beyond giving attention to every detail. Truly an enjoyable experience.

The absolute best!!!

DYF surpassed my wildest expectations! I was one of there lucky yearly winners of the $1,000. A few months after winning I finally made my appointment. I showed up thinking I knew what I wanted and my talented stylist was able to pull something completely opposite of what I wanted. Let me tell you, when you know... you know!!! If it wasn’t for my amazing stylist I would not have left with my dream dress. DYF was by my side every step of the way even once Covid hit! I truly can’t imagine my wedding experience without them. Shelly and Stephanie go above and beyond for you and you will never have to worry about a thing. P.S. get your tux’s here too!!

Let Shelley Make Your Dress Dreams Come True!

Initially I went to Dress Your Fancy because I was looking for a specific designer - Hayley Paige. I thought I would have to travel to NYC to find her dresses but I was so excited to find Dress Your Fancy carried her line!! From the first communication with Shelley, I felt important and special. My appointment was everything I had dreamed it would be. I told her what I was looking for (a ballgown with a dramatic back) and she knew exactly what to show me. I was able to look around and select what I wanted to try on and she also gave me some recommendations. When I got to the Hayley Paige section, I picked out my dress and got butterflies just looking at it on the hanger! She made me wait to try that one on until toward the end of my session...I think she knew that might be "the one" :) I knew immediately when I looked down at the dress on me, I was already tearing up before I even looked at myself! My mom cried as I walked out and then I looked at myself in the mirror and WOW, there was the princess I wanted to be! Shelley shared in our emotion and she too knew it was the one for me. I did really like another dress which was a completely different style (fitted) but in the end I knew the "Markle" was mine! She even let me come back a few times just to retry it on when I was having doubts and she never made me feel silly for being nervous about it. Shelley set me up with a seamstress and everything continued to go smoothly from there. Dress Your Fancy is a beautiful and bright boutique and and I never felt rushed or pressured into anything. My only small disappointment was not being informed that there was a Hayley Paige trunk show the following month. I definitely would've waited to have that experience. Even with that said, I have NO regrets...Shelley will give you the once in a lifetime experience that every girl should have!!

Amazing Experience!

I went to DYF after experiencing another vendor in Syracuse, total 180. The women at DYF were amazing! Helped me fit into my dresses, (we got very close) and had a good eye for what I was looking for. They also kept the excitement up with my guests, especially for my mom who was visiting from south TX. I loved every minute of being in the boutique and I found my perfect dress. I am so excited to go back at the end of the month to try it on!!

Nailed it!

Beyond happy with my experience at DYF! When I first walked in I was asked what styles I liked, and what price range I wanted to stay within. I did not know completely what I wanted but knew what I did not like. The very first dress that she said she was going to pull for me she said when I first walked in, she thought this would be the perfect dress for me. And boy was she right!! I did not expect to pick the first dress I tried on but she really nailed the style with my body type and personality. I did go on to try on a handful of other dresses that I picked out but in the end the first one that she picked out for me was the one! Thank you DYF for finding me my dream dress!

Cant say enough!! - Such a great experience!!

I cannot say enough good things about Dress Your Fancy!! While I unfortunately did not find my dream dress there, (my sister did), and I found everything else! - We found our Mother of the Bride dress (best selection I have seen in the area as far as quality dresses), grandmother of the bride dress, all my bridesmaid dresses and my accessories (hair piece, earrings, and veil)!

Every time I have been in the store has been a beyond pleasant experience! Everyone there is so so nice to work with! Shelley is extremely knowledgeable in the industry and gives you an honest professional opinion whenever you ask!

I had a small issue that came up, which was not at all the fault of DYF. Shelly and Stephanie went above and beyond to make it right and to ensure I was 100% happy! I can say from experience - They truly care about making the Bride happy however they can!

Going in just to look and ended up leaving with a perfect dress

I had such an incredible experience at Dress Your Fancy. Shelley and Emily were so inviting and accommodating (I had six people with me to look at dresses). It was so important to me to include my mom, grandmother, my fiance's mom and step-mom, my sister (MOH), and my best friend (MOH). We went in during a trunk show where Shelley had champagne and hor d'oeuvres out and ready, just to look to get an idea of what styles would be right for me. I tried on a handful of dresses with both Shelley and Emily's help! DYF has a wonderful selection of not only bridal gowns and stock dresses but also bridesmaid dresses that can be ordered in ivory so there was plenty of options to choose from for a girl on a budget (mine was $300-$400). I ended up falling in love with a dress that was unique and different and nothing I would have guessed I would've loved. Shelley was so great about my budget. The dress I bought was a stock dress and it fit as if it was made for me, which made it even more special! I ended up walking out of the store with my perfect dress that I held/hugged the entire way home! It was such an amazing day filled with fun, laughter, excitement and the most happy tears! I can't thank Shelley and Emily enough for their help and providing us with such a wonderful experience that I will cherish forever!

Unexpectedly perfect

Seven years ago this week, I stopped at Dress Your Fancy with my girls, a pit stop on our way to appointments at the 'bigger' shops in Syracuse. We picked 8-9 dresses for me to try out. The excitement was running high because I was FINALLY planning our wedding day and it truely felt like everything was all about me (because seriously, that's what the dress is all about, right?)!

The ladies at DYF asked a couple questions with each dress I slid into & listened to every comment I made, both pros & cons. After the 4th or 5th dress, they looked at each other & smiled. One of them said 'we have your dress... ' and returned with a dress we'd completely overlooked. That dress was THE dress - no doubt about it! When you know you know, so we popped bottles, cancelled the appointments in Syracuse & celebrated.

They stayed within reason of budget & it really shocked me that they cared about ME finding THE dress, and not them making a sale. I've referred many ladies since my experience and will continue to do so as all have loved their results - even those that ended up finding their dress elsewhere. Shopping at Dress Your Fancy is definitely the experience every bride deserves to have.

Amazing, wonderful, fantastic!

Shelly is seriously the best of the best. I have gone to her for dress help for 12 years starting with prom and most recently with my own wedding gown. My out of state bridesmaids have called in to order their dresses and they keep texting me saying how amazing Shelly is (she really knows her stuff). Shelly has been so helpful and flexible to meet my out of state (and in state) bridesmaids needs. I can’t say enough positive things about Dress Your Fancy and Shelly. The new shop in Vestal is gorgeous and looks like it should be a bridal show on TLC. I got my dress during the Hayley Paige trunk show and I am over the moon happy with my choice. Shelly helped me with my measurements, because the ones I gave her were totally off and would have landed me in a much bigger size than what I really am. She pays close attention to details like this to make sure everything turns out the way a bride would want. I thought I wanted my gown to be in pink so Shelly went out of her way to see if it was possible. She got back to me so fast and said it was possible. I ultimately stuck with white and Shelly didn’t even flinch to my indecisiveness, she understood completely and supported me through it all. I am signed up for the Paris by Debra Moreland Trunk show and cannot wait to see what I can add to my wedding look. The first step to starting my wedding planning was going to Dress Your Fancy to find my dress and I'm so glad it was. It started off the whole process off on the best note! I knew I was looking for a long sleeve dress but the options they had were to die for but with their help it was an easy decision.

Shelly and her staff are so welcoming and made the process seamless and fun! They made me feel so important, like a princess, and went above and beyond for me as they do for all their brides. The selection they have is incredible and not only for bridal gowns! I also got my veil, shoes, earrings, and my mom got her dress there as well! From the first appointment to the last it was all perfection! Dress Your Fancy was an absolute dream to work with and I can’t thank them enough for making all my bridal dreams come true. I recommend them to anyone and if you are not near the store they are worth traveling for!!

Never Felt More At Home!

DYF was by far the best experience for Wedding Dress, Bridesmaids, and MOB dress shopping. Shelly is the sweetest, warmest person I have meet during the dress shopping experience. But also honest and a good reader of your feelings. She just gets it, can tell if you truly love something or just saying you love it because so and so picked it out. She helped my own Mother find the best MOB dress that I could ask for. It was important to me that my mom also shine on the wedding day and instead of a department store dress I wanted her to feel special. We were not looking to spend a fortune but knew MOB could be costly, Shelly worked with us in every way possible to make it happen! She and her team have grown so much since I first visited her little shop in Greene and it is well deserved!

Amazing Service

Dress Your Fancy is so much more than just a bridal shop. They seriously make you feel like a princess and will do everything they can to make sure you find the perfect dress for your perfect day. The best possible experience!

I went to DYF with a very strict budget and a very short time frame to work with, but Stephanie and the other ladies helped me like I was any other bride! It was such an amazing experience! We even had some trouble with my bank towards the end, and we stayed on the phone for an hour to fix it together! I couldn’t have asked for a better experience finding my wedding dress.

Gorgeous line of dresses!

I came to visit Dress Your Fancy when my best friend told me to start my search there based on her experience. I had no idea what I was looking for but knew my budget. Shelley was the person who worked with me and she AMAZING to work with! I had a few dresses I tried on but they all didn’t shape my full figured body. Shelley pulled a Rebecca ingraham for Maggie sottero and I was instantly in love! It wasn’t what I thought I pictured myself in but it had all the elements and it shaped my waist. Plus the best part was that it was in my budget. I cannot say enough how great this team is to work with. I went to a few other shops but I felt less rushed here than I did anywhere else. My little cousin is getting married and I have told her to make sure she makes an appointment to see Shelley and her team at Dress Your Fancy!

I can’t say enough about how great Dress Your Fancy is! I live in England, my wedding was in France but my mother lives in Upstate New York and she really wanted to help me find my dress... I fell immediately in love with one of the first dresses Shelly pulled. With only 6 months before my wedding, this did not leave much time to have the dress made. I also had very minimal time to come back for a fitting and alterations. Shelly was an absolute superstar!!!! She rushed the dress, arranged for last minute alterations and did everything on my timeframe so I did not have to stress. She has a gorgeous variety of dresses and accessories (I also purchased my veil and jewelry here) and a really bright personality. I don’t think you could find a better bridal boutique!!!!

Thank you to the entire staff at DYF for helping make my wedding day absolutely perfect. Shelly listened intently to my ideas of what I wanted to look like on my wedding day and found my dress!! From the first to final fitting, the staff made sure the dress was ready for our destination wedding without adding any worry.

The 2 girls that run this shop are truly amazing. They did such a wonderful job with getting my my dress and all of our tuxes for a amazing price! They were VERY responsive and just want to make sure you have everything you need for your special day. Shelly and here staff were amazing to work with. On my first visit to her salon, I wasn't able to find a dress that I felt was mine. Shelly invited me to look at the designers web site and see if there was anything on their that I liked. I did just that and in fact I found a dress that I loved. This particular dress was not due to come out in samples for several months, but Shelly contacted that designer and they sent the dress in the picture (model sized!) for me to try on. I was able to put the dress on and fell in love with it. The ordering process was wonderful with here staff. They kept me informed of shipping dates and let me know as soon as my dress was in. When it came time for me to pick up my dress, they were in the process of moving their shop. They offered to bring my dress to their new shop (during a crazy and hectic moving time for them) which would save me an hour and a half of my valuable bride time. I just cannot say enough nice things about Shelly and her staff. Do yourself a favor a plan a visit to her shop and you will get the personal care that a bride to be should get!

I can’t express how amazing Shelly and her staff are. From the moment we walked in the door, myself, mother, mother in law and bridesmaids were welcomed in with open arms and welcoming smiles. Finding my wedding dress was my absolute favorite part of wedding planning. It's something you dream of doing all of your life. But finding my wedding dress with my mom and sister at Dress Your Fancy was one of the best days of my life. Shelly, Stephanie, and their team go above and beyond to help you find YOUR dress. The dress that screams YOU.... a perfect reflection of your personality, style, and character in a gown.

The experience was so much fun. My best advice for any bride is to go into the appointment open minded. Try on a sample of everything. Learn what it is you like and what you don't. Have fun with it. This shouldn't be stressful. It's a bonding moment between you and those special people you bring to the appointment with you.

My mom and sister/Matron of Honor (my entire bridal party) both bought their gowns from Dress Your Fancy. Again, what a fun day! To paint the picture more clearly, my sister and I were married six months apart. She also purchased her gown and bridal party dresses here. To say the least we spent a lot of time in Greene at this boutique! Each time more fun than the last.

Throughout the year our family faced some health challenges. But each visit we dropped those scary thoughts and fears at the door and Dress Your Fancy became our little sanctuary. A place where there was no wrong in the world. We brought treats and champagne and celebrated life with the staff.

It was a memorable year to say the least. Shelly was so caring. The entire staff did everything to make us feel like family and those gestures will be remembered forever. We're so grateful to everyone here. I recommend Dress Your Fancy with all of my heart.

The moment I entered this boutique I knew that searching for the right wedding gown was going to be a fun process. Shelly and the staff at Dress Your Fancy are outstanding. Dress Your Fancy is by far the best boutique in the southern tier. They have the best selections, are attentive, and don’t try to pressure you into a dress just for the sell. They take the time, listen to what you want, and make sure the dress you like fits you and caters to your body. I had a couple other dress appointments at other places, but I specifically scheduled the one at dress your fancy last because I knew I would find my dream dress there, and of course I did. Shelly and her team are absolutely amazing. I have a hard time making a decision on clothing. Shelly and her team made it super easy for me. They took their time with me and made me try on every style dress they had, showing me what worked and didn't work with my body type. DYF is absolutely the place to go for your wedding dress and accessories. They have a plethora of dresses to choose from and are always getting new shipments. They are always on the hunt for new designers, dresses, and accesories which speaks volume on how much they love what they do.
Trunk shows are always happening at DYF, putting the spotlight on a designer whether it's for jewelry or dresses. I love the trunk show because I got to meet with a designer for my headpiece, with my dress on, and together figured out what was going to be the best choice. I also got a gorgeous veil, it was a one stop shop!
With that being said, no matter how many dresses or veils or jewelry a bridal shop has, it means nothing if the customer service is lacking. At DYF, every associate is absolutely amazing. They not only know what they are doing and can pick the perfect dress for you in a breeze, they are kind, hardworking, and fun! It is about a 40 min drive for me and I looked forward to every appointment.
I was in a pinch for time for my bridesmaids dresses and was stressed about getting something my girls would love and getting them on time for my destination wedding. Within a week and a half, we had an appointment, multiple dresses to choose from, and every girl had their dress! Lastly, one of the associates actually dropped my veil off to me because she knew it was quite the drive for me! How amazing is that?
I'm actually sorry the process is over for me. Thank you DYF! From the bottom of my heart, you made my experience one to cherish.

I had an amazing experience at Dress Your Fancy. Stephanie listened to all of my requests and we found exactly what I was looking for. The dress I chose was strapless and I wanted to add cap sleeves to it, and she made it happen no problem. Shelly and Carole worked tirelessly to make sure the sleeves looked perfect, as we did not have any matching lace to go with the dress! After trying on MANY dresses at bridal salons throughout NYC, NJ, Westchester, and Binghamton I decided on a beautiful Pronovias gown from Dress Your Fancy Bridal Boutique. I walked into Dress Your Fancy two months before my wedding in a complete panic because the alterations on the dress that I had bought from Alfred Angelos was a huge disappointment. It was unsalvageable and so I needed to find a new dress immediately. Shelley greeted me right away with a very calm and assuring demeanor and helped me find the most perfect wedding dress. I wish I had found her store earlier in my dress-buying process, but I am so grateful that I eventually ended up there. Shelley and her staff are so caring and so honest. Even though I was in a time crunch, I did not actually feel pressured to buy a dress. I got honest advice and genuine concern. The dresses at the shop were all designer and very high quality. Once I found my perfect dress, Shelley gave me the name of a fantastic seamstress who hemmed and bustled the dress for me. I got so many compliments on my dress on the day of the wedding and for days afterwards. It was so stunning (and comfortable!) and I absolutely loved it. I highly recommend dress your fancy! I have gotten two bridesmaid dresses and my own wedding dress there. The dresses here are more expensive than what you would spend at David's Bridal but they offer dresses that you aren't going to find at David's Bridal. The staff was extremely helpful in offering suggestions for alterations and accessories. They also have seamstresses on staff which a lot of bridal salons are getting away from.

My husband and I HIGHLY recommend visiting Dress Your Fancy, or at least giving them a call. You will feel welcome right away. The owner & and her helper are EXTREMELY kind,helpful, professional. I knew what kind of dress I was looking for (somewhat) because my husband and I had decided on a Fairy Tale themed Wedding. I first called and spoke with the owner, to set up a good time for me to come in. Over the phone I told her what our Wedding theme was along with the look I was going for. When I visited Dress Your Fancy to find "the dress" the owner had already put aside about 5 gowns that she thought would be beautiful for the look I was going for. The first one I chose to try on...WAS THE ONE! I find it amazing when that happens! Of course I tried on others, that were beautiful too - but to me, not as beautiful as the first one. My mother was with me, she cried. I cried. It was THE DRESS for our Wedding Day! The ladies at the shop were wonderful. After we got my dress in order, I decided I wanted to go through Dress Your Fancy for our Bridal Parties & my Husband too! It was such a smooth process, throughout all! I sat down with a lady and she helped me put together the guys attire (my husband wasn't big on that - and had no problem with me picking it out) together. Throughout all of this - I got the opportunity to work with "Paris by Debra Moreland" who created my hair piece and earrings. I am SO grateful I had this experience with her. She helped me put "the look", all together. Thank you to Dress Your Fancy for allowing their upcoming bride's this once in a lifetime opportunity. Dress Your Fancy is everything I had hoped for and more when it comes to the attire in our Wedding. Everyone looked so good! Dress Your Fancy = No hassles, no problems, straight up professional, very knowledgeable, & kind. Very thankful I found them

Shelly and Stephanie at Dress Your Fancy were absolutely incredible to work with. They have such a beautiful selection of dresses! I tried on about 10 dresses chosen by myself and friends and none seemed just right. In walked Shelly with another dress, telling me to try one more...it was absolutely perfect! Everyone commented on how gorgeous the dress was the day of my wedding!

Shelly greets with you with a big hug everytime you go in and you can tell how much she loves her job! I definitely recommend Dress Your Fancy to any future brides out there!!

I purchased my wedding dress from Dress Your Fancy and I couldn't have been more happy with it. There selection of wedding dresses was so great that I canceled my appointment to Kleinfeld's and found my dress within twenty minutes of getting in the store. We also purchased all of my bridesmaids dresses from here, as well as my mother's dress for the wedding. The staff here are very pleasant and willing to work with you to make you happy. I highly recommend this boutique to anyone who is looking for a dress. (not just wedding either, their prom dresses are very beautiful also)

Shelly was amazing to work with from the moment we entered her store. She made us all feel so welcome, and that I was the only bride she had to work with. Shelly was so knowledgeable about the dresses - from what would look the best, to various ways they could be altered, to the most appropriate undergarments that are needed for specific unique styles. She provided genuine feedback while trying on dresses and accessories, and never made me feel like she was trying to make a sale. There was not a question that she could not answer and she was so kind throughout the entire process. I continue to receive numerous compliments about my wedding dress and could not have been more pleased with the ease of the wedding dress shopping experience at Dress Your Fancy!

Shelly and her team at Dress Your Fancy are fabulous! I went to her looking for a gown for my son's wedding. Having no idea what I was looking for, Shelly was very patient with me!! She provided dress after dress. The last one she brought me, which I didn't even want to try on, was THE dress. She has a perfect eye for style for each bride, attendant or mother of the bride or groom. I highly recommend Shelly and Dress Your Fancy for weddings and any occasion that requires formal attire.

Dress your fancy is simply amazing! Shelly has a way of making choosing the perfect gown easy, which is quite the task considering how many beautiful gowns are in the shop! She worked closely with me to help me put together my entire look head to toe along with the entire bridal party. When my dress came in she even worked with my mother to surprise me in the shop with it! I absolutely loved everything about working with dress your fancy! She called every time a new dress came in that she thought I would love based on the description I gave her, and ended up finding the perfect wedding dress for me. She makes suggestions, is very positive and encouraging and works with you every step of the way to ensure that the dress you select is one that looks great, fits perfectly and makes you feel beautiful. Shelly and the ladies at Dress Your Fancy were wonderful! They were very nice and very accomodating. They took all the time I needed to find the dress that I wanted along with having my matron of honor try dresses on for her too. I also came in several different times for dress fittings to make sure it fit just right. My dress was beautiful and it fit perfectly! I would recommend anyone to go there. They also mentioned that they do dress preservation, which I am definitely going to look into.

I couldn't have asked for a better experience than the one I had with Dress Your Fancy; Shelley and her staff are amazing and I really can't say enough good things about them.

When you go to DYF you never feel like just another customer; everyone there is great about making sure their attention is on you and you never feel ignored, even if there are several other customers in the shop.

We dressed our whole bridal party through DYF (all parents included!) and I'd highly recommend the shop to anyone looking for bridal or evening wear.

There aren't enough words to express how grateful I am to Shelly and her staff at Dress Your Fancy. The experience for me couldn't have been any better. I came into the salon with an idea of a dress I thought I wanted. I tried it on and liked it but didn't feel it was right. Shelly picked out one she thought would be “the dress” and she was completely right. As soon as I put it on I knew it was the one for me. I felt as sure of the dress as I did of the man I was marrying. It was an amazing feeling. Shelly is extremely talented and knowledgeable. She gives you the one on one attention that every bride deserves to have before her big day.

My experience at Dress Your Fancy, and working with Shelly was wonderful! When looking for my wedding dress, Shelly was so helpful, and certainly has an eye for picking out the perfect dress for each bride. The dress Shelly helped me find was even better than I ever could have imagined and made me feel like a princess on my wedding day! Shelly even helped me choose the perfect jewelry to match my dress, along with my veil and headpiece. Since Shelly was so helpful, I chose to get my bridesmaid dresses and tuxes through her as well, and my mom also purchased her dress at Dress Your Fancy. I just cannot say enough positive things about Dress Your Fancy; Shelly devotes her time to make sure her brides are happy, and certainly goes above and beyond to fulfill your dreams!

Shelly was wonderful to work with from start to finish! She was extremely knowledgeable, answering all of my questions about gown styles and accessories and making me feel at ease with the somewhat stressful process of choosing the perfect wedding gown. Shelly is a true professional and a warm and caring person. She remembered my parents and I as soon as we walked into the door during our multiple visits to the shop and she had a way of making us feel like we were the only clients she was working with. You can tell she knows and loves her job because of the extra measures she took to make sure I had everything I needed to look beautiful on my wedding day. Dress Your Fancy and Shelly are great! I struggled for a long time when I first started looking for my perfect gown. I combed through a lot of other stores and just couldn't find "that" dress. I was getting disheartened especially since I'm not usually a hard fit when it comes to clothes. Then, a friend recommended I check out Dress Your Fancy and told me to ask for Shelly. I walked in her shop and she just looked at me and said, I can't believe you haven't found anything yet, you're an easy fit. Well, I looked through her dresses and found so many possibilities and within the first few, found my perfect dress. I of course tried on several more after but went right back to the one I fell in love with. Shelly was great to work with and offered suggestions only if and when you wanted them. She helped me get the perfect shoes and custom made accessories to complement my dress as well. I received so many complements on my dress on my wedding day; the best probably from my father who said it was the prettiest wedding dress he's ever seen. I highly recommend anyone getting married to go visit her shop. You will not be disappointed!

Shelly and her staff were more than accommodating to myself, family and bridesmaids. My girls dresses were hand selected to flatter each of them individually and were all amazing in their own way. And I think it took Shelly minutes to know exactly which dress was made for me... And my mom and I fell in love.. Now that is someone who knows and enjoys their job!! Start to finish, staying late through exhausting appointments with us, Shelly and her staff made sure we were happy and felt our best for the big day. I am so glad that I chose to visit this shop first, from one small business owner to the next, support local businesses and your neighbors, nothing compares.

Shelly was so amazing throughout the entire process and she put up with my picky self. I tried on so many dresses and went back to the very first dress I ever put on, never did I expect to pick the dress I did. But she knew it was the one just by my face and she didn't even know me. She was sooo helpful throughout the whole process. And she came to the hotel on my wedding day to tie me up because I was sooooo worried that it wouldn't be as tight as she had made it at my fittings. I cannot express my gratitude for how Shelly made me feel like an amazing bride every day but especially on my wedding day.

Dress Your Fancy bridal salon was my prayers finally answered. Shelly and her staff took care of every detail for me with such professionalism and such compassion you would think Shelly was planning for her own special day. She knew the perfect dress for me....the dress if my dreams. It was like the dress was made for me and she knew and did everything to make sure I was able to purchase my dress and stay within my budget. Dress Your Fancy took care off all my girls dresses and all my guys attire. I cannot thank Shelly enough. I said from beginning to end she made it all possible!!! I have been spreading the word to every person I know....DO NOT waste your time in any other shops. Get in your car and drive straight to Greene. Shelly will make it all possible for every bride!!! Perfection is what you will get from start to finish when you choose Dress Your Fancy in Greene! After dealing with Shelly as the Mother of the Bride for my daughter's wedding 2 years ago, I knew there was no place else I would go when it came time to pick the gown for my own wedding. She found a gown for me that was absolutely perfect. ♥ I know I am no one's little girl anymore, but I sure felt like the queen for a day! In addition, when my daughters changed their minds about their own dresses at the last minute, Shelly never uttered one word of complaint but stepped up and helped them to find what worked perfectly at the last minute from her shop stock!! All of this in the midst of a personal tragedy that she was dealing with. When the wedding day finally arrived, Shelly even temporarily closed the shop so she could come and dress me and my daughters. Shelly and her husband were invited to the wedding and she opted to attend standly quietly in the back of the room. After the ceremony she helped my daughters to bustle my gown. We shared a special moment that day and I will treasure it always! Thank you just doesn't cut it, but thank you, thank you from the very bottom of my heart ♥ There is no better place for a bride to go than to Dress Your Fancy in Greene. Shelly will do right by you! From the Bride to the Groom to everyone in between, the level of service goes above and beyond a job for her. She is not only a shop owner, she has truly become my friend. ♥

Shelly is such a wonderful person and took the stress out of looking for a dress. As a longtime tomboy, she knew right away what style would work with my figure and it was perfect, not to mention georgous! Plus her suggestions on jewlery were spot on. I would and do recommend her to everyone.

I loved my wedding dress experience here. The owner Shelly was amazing and made you feel so special and like you were her only bride. It is a smaller place so you and your family are usually the only ones there. Much different than David's bridal which has you try on dresses next to 30 other girls. My dress was stunning and her seamstress was able to make it fit perfectly. Definitely check this place out!

From the day I got engaged I knew I wanted to buy my dress at a small, intimate shop where I would have an incredible dress selection....and I sure stumbled upon that experience with Shelly at Dress Your Fancy. Now, I live in CO, but grew up in NY, so to make my mom and dad happy I agreed to try a few dress shops with them in upstate NY before I tried anything in CO. Well, I never made it past this shop because everything just fell into place for me there. My first choice dress, even though it was the second one I tried on, was my dream gown, brought tears to my eyes and my parents eyes AND it was under budget. I was there for another hour, convinced I should try more on, and with Shelly's support and kind words accepted that my search was over...that was my gown. In addition to making this easy for me, Shelly went above and beyond with my mom and my bridesmaids from all over the country. She helped us find amazing BM dresses that were classy and very affordable. I am truly grateful for all her help and to this day consider her a great friend (we even invited her to our wedding). Not only did Shelly provide me with the most PERFECT dress for my wedding day, she helped me accessorize with a gorgeous veil and custom made jewelry to complete my look. The dress was high quality and felt great the entire night. Shelly's experience in wedding dresses (and brides) was evident as she was calm and reassuring throughout the shopping experience, alteration process, accessorizing, fitting of my bridesmaids and flower girls with their dresses, etc. On my wedding day, I felt more beautiful than I've ever felt in my entire life, and I owe it Shelly and Dress Your Fancy.
